RePosted @repost4ig • We made it to Fri-Yay! I don't know about you all, but our week has been hectic and we are very much looking forward to the weekend! The strawberries have been incredible lately, so for today's #farmhousefoodiefriday I made Strawberry Shortcake. This recipe is the official @bisquickpancakes one and it's my go to. Easy delicious, and quick. Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake Ingredients: 4 cups strawberries sliced 1/4 cup sugar 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick Mix 1/2 cup milk 3 TBS sugar 3 TBS melted butter Whipped Cream for serving 1. Heat over to 425°. In a large bowl, mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar. Set aside. 2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick, milk, 3 TBS sugar, and melted butter until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Or cut them out into Mickey's like I did. * (Link for the cookie cutters is used for the dough and the strawberries is in my bio.) 3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. 4. Split warm shortcakes, fill and top with strawberries and whipped cream.
