Feminists are against traditional values. That’s why they don’t like you, not your hobbies, not you having children, not you being a housewife.
Honestly, it really depends on what definition you put behind "feminism".
I know Christians tend to dislike this term because it comes off as "anti-traditional" and "rebellious", which is what feminism has been reduced to be, but feminism as in "the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes" doesn't necessarily infringe traditionalism. Being traditional doesn't mean pleading for removing women from work, retrieving their right to vote, owning a bank account or whatever. By advocating for females rights, it -also- means advocating for women choosing a lifestyle that suits them better such as homemaking without being judged or stigmatized. Men and Women being "equal" doesn't mean they have the same purpose, assets and functions though. I totally grasp why people may be uncomfortable with the label "feminist" though (I personally don't label myself as such) but I personally wouldn't go as far as calling myself an "anti feminism". I'm in disagreement with "anti feminist" tradfem's statement that NOTHING good ever came from feminism and tend to idealize women lifestyle from centuries ago (personally, I wouldn't trade place with a woman from 1924...) Besides, the very same "anti feminist" tradfem tend to embrace very reductive attribute to womanhood (looking pretty, in shape, well-dressed, with nice make up...) that are actually at odd of a good comprehension of 'traditionalism' that is actually about rejecting society's frivolousness and superficiality. That's why the feminism vs anti feminism discourse is quite reductive in my book ; there is good and bad in both.
The irony of people hating on tradfem is that they argue that these women are unhappy and putting their life at risk (financially) for relying on their spouse....when the exact same could be said about regular women with a job and a boss who could fire them overnight (lol). People end up getting homeless without a trad lifestyle anyway, and yet, nobody is accusing them of being reckless with their overall life or career choices... LOL You're very right on that point : some people just wanna hate on tradfem for embracing "feminine" hobbies because their whole mindset is about proving how femininity is weak and reductive and how much more fulfilled they'd be feeding the capitalist monster.....buuuut in the same time they'll say how looking down on feminine hobbies is reductive and misogynist lmao They really don't make any sense lol
