Got too emotional about Beej who simply cannot keep his doctor hat off with Erin for her entire life, bless her. He wears it simultaneously with the dad hat. I know in my soul that there is an entire summer where literally every single time she comes in from the backyard—which has the shortest grass known to man and maybe One (1) tree—he has to check her head to toe for ticks. If she falls and skins her knee, he doesn't make a big deal about it because he knows she's watching him to learn how she's supposed to react to these tiny pains, but he'll scoop her up and glance over it anyway while tickling her, making her giggle so she forgets the burning. If she coughs, he is immediately seeing if any of the lymph nodes in her throat are swollen. Man who takes every bit of ignorance he directs toward his own pain and uses it to amplify his attention on his loved ones. And yeah, they could fight it if they wanted, but it's so much faster to simply let him handle their ankle if they roll it a tiny bit rather than to have him pouting after them for an hour because they won't simply let him check. It's just Erin's luck that she's his little girl and so she is never going to age out of his overwhelming amount of concern, bless her heart.
