Hi there! Thank you for your works🥰
Can you maybe write something (if you are okay with RPF ofc) where Reader is a new actress who's taking part in season 2 filming and she likes Ewan, and he is nice to her but kinda closed off (bc we all now he likes to keep private). And they go to some kind of party with all cast and crew and she sees him being comfortable and open with Phia, and gets really upset. But in the end, it turns out that they are just friends and he was asking Phia for some advice coz he also likes Reader. Just some angst with fluff pls? 🙏
Of course! I’m glad you enjoy my works and for more HOTD actor/character one shot requests, feel free to submit them through my ask box. 💚
Alys Rivers [Ewan Mitchell x Fem!Reader]
Summary: You got casted as Alys Rivers, also known as Aemond Targaryen’s love interest. As you continue to work with Ewan, you become close with him but you couldn’t help but wonder that he doesn’t really like you because of how closed off he seems from you. However you learn the truth at a party….
You smiled while pushing back a strand of the dark haired wig as they set up the scene on the Harrenhal set. You were a little nervous joining the cast of House of the Dragon, but everyone seemed to be so friendly and welcome you with open arms.
You were playing the role of Alys Rivers, the bastard daughter to Lord Lyonel Strong and the love interest to Prince Aemond Targaryen. You honestly didn’t think you were going to get the role but after reading the book and studying the character, you were confident.
“Hey,” You greeted with a small smile seeing Ewan coming over in his Aemond get up, donned with the black and gold armor from the book and his signature eyepatch.
Ewan returned your smile and looked down. He always seemed to have that nervous little tick and you found it absolutely adorable. He nodded a bit in response and looked over when the director walked over to describe the upcoming scene.
You enjoyed having most of your scenes with Ewan, knowing there were to be more in the upcoming seasons as well. He was a wonderful actor, although he always seemed a bit put off by you. He was friendly, but he rarely spoke around you. You have gotten him to open up a few times and you enjoyed his company though.
“Hey!” You heard a familiar voice call once the director left you and Ewan alone.
You turned and smiled, waving at the sight of Tom and Phia, already dressed as Aegon and Helaena for the day. "Hey, guys!"
"So, I don't know if our cute little Ewan here," Tom began, wrapping an arm around Ewan's shoulders who chuckled. "But we are going out tonight for a little cast party and we would love for you to come. Mainly because you support the Green cause of course."
You giggled, copying Tom by wrapping an arm around Phia. The two of you were close although you had no scenes together. She was always cheery and outgoing and you knew you could count on her if you needed anything.
"Well, I would do anything for the Green cause," You replied with a small smirk.
"Yay!" Phia exclaimed with a giggle passing her lips as she wrapped both of her arms around you. "Let me come and pick you up tonight, okay?"
You smiled and nodded, your eyes wandering over to Ewan, Tom's arm still around him. "Seven sounds good."
Tom smirked and looked up at Ewan as you and Phia walked away for a bit to discuss about tonight. "Are you ever going to open up to her, Mitchell?"
Ewan smiled, letting his eye wander over you while your back was turned before he blew out a breath. "Eventually."
"You are never going to get her if you can't get past small talk," He teased and laughed when Ewan pushed him.
"Shut up," Ewan replied laughing before he let out a breath, looking back over to you with furrowed brows.

“Do I look okay?”
Phia looked over as she fixed her blue top with a small smile. "You look beautiful as always," She replied before tilting her head. "You look a little nervous, trying to impress anyone?" She asked with a slightly taunting tone to her voice.
You rolled your eyes but you couldn't help the blush that was creeping onto your cheeks. "I'm not trying to impress anyone," You replied a bit sheepishly while you looked back in the mirror to fix your hair.
Phia smirked lightly and let out a small hum. "Whatever you say, Y/N."
You looked over at her noticing the knowing look she had on her features. You thought you were good when it came to hiding your feelings for Ewan, although you couldn't help but think he doesn't really like you. The two of you were the only ones that seemed to be oblivious to each other's feelings, not even realizing that Tom and Phia were trying to play matchmaker.
"Come on," You said taking your jacket with a small laugh. "We're going to be late."
"You know what they say," Phia began hooking her arm with yours. "Only the best show up fashionably late."
The party seemed lively by the time you and Phia showed up. Your eyes scanned the scene noticing how everyone was mingling although the butterflies erupted in your stomach as soon as you saw Ewan standing with Tom. Ewan always had that effect on you.
Phia smirked as she looked over you noticing where your eyes were wandering. "Why don't we go and say hi to the boys?" She offered, nudging you a bit.
You snapped back into reality while you looked back at your friend. You smiled and shook your head. "I'm going to go get a drink. Do you want anything?"
Phia slowly nodded with a small smile. "I'm okay. Go and get a drink then we'll meet up."
You nodded while blowing out a breath as you watched her make her way over to the boys. You couldn't help but furrow your brows at the way Ewan's face lit up when Phia walked over and pulled her into a hug. He seemed so happy with her. You shook off the nerves and took a deep breath while heading over to the bar to get yourself a margarita.

As the night went on, you stayed in a corner a bit quiet. You were shy around everyone even if they accepted you with open arms. You couldn’t help but keep looking over at Ewan who seemed deep in conversation with Phia. Of course they were comfortable with each other, having worked together on the last season. You were new and still getting to know everyone.
“Everything okay?”
You jumped slightly seeing Tom next to you. “Oh my god, you scared me.”
Tom chuckled while wrapping an arm around you. “I’m like a ninja,” He said with a wink before sighing softly. “You just looked lonely, love. Besides, you won’t stop looking at Ewan all night.”
You felt your cheeks heat up and looked down with furrowed brows. “Is it that obvious?”
“Very,” Tom replied with a small smile. “You think you hide the looks you give him but it’s so very obvious.” He laughed when your cheeks became redder. “Why don’t you go and talk to him?”
“Because.” You groaned a bit. “It’s not easy to just talk to someone that you have feelings for.”
“Oh, come on. You two are going to have a bedroom scene together. Why not practice now?” He teased and laughed when you hit his chest. “I mean, you never know his feelings until you talk to him.”
You frowned a bit. “But, him and Phia clearly seem comfortable with each other.”
Tom chuckled a bit at the slight tone of jealousy in your voice. “Just go and give it a shot, Y/N.”
You sighed looking up at the blonde man before slowly nodding. You began to walk over with Tom, smiling at the two.
“You can do it,” You heard Phia whisper to Ewan causing you to furrow your brows.
Ewan let out a nervous sigh while looking over at you. “Y/N…I was wondering….” He began looking down at his hands. “I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me. I just…I really like you and I want to get to know you better….” He began to ramble looking back up at you.
You smiled lightly, finding his rambling to be adorable. You nodded while taking his hands in yours. “I would love to,” You said feeling the butterflies in your stomach fluttering around.
Ewan returned your smile. “Great! How about…next Saturday at seven?”
“Sounds like a date,” You replied and giggled when Phia and Tom erupted in cheers. You couldn’t help but blush wondering what this could lead to between you and your costar.

The Slip-up | A.G.
Tumblr media
📝 Title: The Slip-up (x actress/singer-songwriter!reader)
📚 Requested: Yes/No
✍ Summary: Let's face it, even celebrities have celebrity crushes. But what if you had accidentally let slip your little crush on Andrew Garfield in an interview? | 2.6k
Love knows no bounds and even celebrities have celebrity crushes.
And to say that you simply adored and admired Andrew Garfield would be the understatement of the century.
You were literally one of his biggest fans.
And after a quiet Monday morning, one of your biggest dreams had come true.
“Good morning, I am speaking to Y/N L/N, right?” A voice said as soon as you picked up the call.
“Yep.” You answered nonchalantly, stirring your coffee, you hadn’t auditioned for anything so far so you didn't know what this call was for, “This is she.”
“So, I’m Lin-Manuel Miranda.” The voice introduced, “Since you’re this amazing actress and singer-songwriter and you were highly recommended by one of our cast members - I was wondering if you’d be interested in starring in a romance musical?”
You nearly spewed out your coffee, not believing in the slightest that the director of Tick, Tick… Boom! was casting you, “That would literally be a dream come true! Thank you so much for this opportunity! And is it okay if I also get to know who highly recommended me so that I could thank them too?”
“Um,” Lin trailed off for a bit, as if talking to someone else on the other end of the line, “for now, the person wishes to remain anonymous - but, I’m sure you’ll get to know them really well once we start the shooting.”
“Okay then,” you smiled, “Thank you, again, so much for this wonderful opportunity and I can’t wait to start.”
The next day, your manager delivered the script to your house and you swear that you could’ve fainted once you took a look at the cast list.
Immediately picking up your phone and ringing up your manager, you asked, “Please reassure me that you didn’t by any chance give me the wrong script.”
You could practically hear her smile as she answered, “Now when I have done that to you? I’m guessing that you’re over the moon with who your co-star, or rather leading man, is?”
You couldn’t stop the heat that rose up to grace your cheeks, “Maybe?”
She chuckled, “C’mon, like you don’t gush on about him all the time, especially when we’re alone.”
“Fine.” You giggled, “This is literally the best day of my life.”
A beat of silence followed before you spoke up, “You anticipated this call didn’t you?”
Another laugh came, “Let’s just say that I had an inkling as to how you would react.”
“Oh and remember that you have to head to the recording studio later today to record your new single.” She reminded.
“Yep. I don’t have anything else today, so I won’t forget that.” You said.
“How’re you feeling?” Your makeup artist asked as she put the finishing touches on your look for your interview.
You shrugged, taking a deep breath, “Well, it’s always nerve wracking before a show or an interview, you just kind of forget it once you’re already doing it.”
You were then brought backstage, where you waited for your cue to enter the studio.
“Now let us welcome an amazing actress and singer-songwriter, Y/N L/N!” Jimmy announced to the already buzzing crowd.
You smiled as you walked onstage.
“Nice to be back, Jimmy!” You smiled as you gave the host a hug and took a seat.
“We definitely have a lot to catch up on.” Jimmy smiled, “But, first things first. We just have to talk about your latest single, Heart’s Desire.”
“Of course.” You chuckled, “You can ask me anything.”
“So, first of all, I’m guessing that Heart’s Desire is about crushing, or rather having feelings, for someone who doesn’t know about you.” Jimmy said.
You nodded, “Yes, it is.”
“And with the line Even if I just met you on a tv screen | you never fail to make my heart beam, were you going for anything specific? What exactly is the story behind your single?”
“Well,” You smiled, “specifically, it is about having a celebrity crush. I mean, I’m pretty sure a majority of the world’s population at least had one celebrity crush in their life. So, I just wanted to convey that feeling in the song. Especially since I took inspiration from my own celebrity crush, Andrew Garfield-”
You suddenly stopped, eyes widening as a hand flew to your mouth at the realization of what you had just admitted to live television.
Jimmy laughed as the crowd went wild.
“This is so much better than I’ve ever thought.” Jimmy chuckled, “I’m pretty sure that this is trending as we speak and as soon as commercials roll around the fan edits will be flying all over the place.”
“This is so mortifying.” You muttered, hiding your face in your hands to try and contain the heat in your cheeks.
“Well, you can’t blame me. I didn’t pull that out of you, you said it on your own free will.” Jimmy joked.
You sighed, giving a small smile, “Thank goodness Andrew doesn’t have social media then - hopefully he doesn’t see these through his secret accounts.”
The host flashed a teasing grin, acting as if he was just thinking out loud, “You know, maybe I could get Andrew here in about 3 to 4 weeks. Yeah, that seems like a good idea, it’s been quite some time.”
You jokingly glared at him causing the audience to howl with laughter, “Don’t you even dare Jimmy. I swear, I’ll come to haunt you for the rest of your life after I die from embarrassment.”
“C’mon it’ll be fun. But, to move on to my next question, rumor has it that you’ll be working on a new movie with him.”
“Am I dreaming?” You asked your manager as you pulled up to the shooting location.
“No.” She chuckled as she handed the script over to you, “You’ve been rereading the cast list every single day for the last two weeks - if this was a dream, I’m sure you would’ve woken up by now.”
“Good point.” You shrugged, taking a deep breath before opening the car door and stepping out, “Wish me luck!”
“Just make sure not to fangirl too much and don’t gush poetically about his eyes and you’ll do fine.” She teased before you stepped into the studio.
“Do I gush poetically about his eyes?” You asked yourself before heading to the room where the chemistry read would be conducted.
You felt your heart skip a beat as you looked up to see that, aside from you, Andrew was the only one in the room.
He gave you that dreamy smile that always managed to make you melt into a puddle of goo, “Hi.”
“Hi.” You said quietly, returning the smile, “Where’s everyone?”
Andrew shrugged, patting the space next to him on the couch, “Lin might’ve texted our managers that he’ll be running a bit late because something came up.”
As you sat down, a small ding came from your phone, checking it you saw the text from your manager.
You’re welcome. Remember, avoid gushing about him - do it when you’re dating. 😉
“Looks like she thought it was a good idea to tell me now.” You chuckled, sliding your phone back in your pocket, “So, if you knew that Lin was going to be late - why are you here this early?”
“Just thought it would calm down some nerves.” He said, running a hand through his hair, “Especially since I’ll be working alongside the great Y/N L/N.”
You weren’t able to hide the surprised look that suddenly overtook you, “You know me?”
Andrew flashed another smile, his cheeks being painted with a tint of pink but you assumed that it was just the heat of summer, “Of course I do. I mean, who wouldn’t? You’re not just an amazing actress but also a brilliant singer-songwriter.”
You looked away in an attempt to contain the rising heat in your cheeks, “Thanks. I mean, not that you’re not such a wonderful actor yourself because you are.”
Before your co-star could reply, the door suddenly swung open as Lin walked in,
“Sorry I’m late, shall we start?”
“And cut!” Lin shouted as the scene came to an end, “Brilliant as always Andrew and Y/N, take a 5 and we’ll film scene 46 next.”
“Scene 46 right?” Andrew asked as he flipped through the script.
You nodded, reading the script over his shoulder, “What scene do they want us to do next?”
Andrew felt his heart beating faster as he answered, “The kissing scene.”
“The kissing scene?” You repeated, feeling the butterflies come alive in your stomach.
“Yeah.” He said before turning to face you, “Why? You’re scared that you won’t be able to stop kissing me afterwards?”
You smiled, ignoring the possibility of your cheeks showing just how flustered you were, “Me? No way. Maybe what you’re trying to say, Garfield, is that you won’t be able to stop kissing me.”
He takes a step closer to you, giving a shy smile, “Then I have a proposition for you.”
“And that is?” You asked.
“Why don’t we test that theory out? And come to think of it, we can hit two birds with one stone - we can already practice the scene and test the theory at the same time.” Andrew suggested despite the own nerves he was feeling.
You took a deep breath, licking your lips before you answered quietly, “Sure why not?”
Andrew slowly leaned, his breath almost tickling your cheek, closing your eyes as your heart beated in anticipation - your dreams were about to come true.
But before anything else could happen, the speakers suddenly turned on as the voice of your director echoed through the room, “Now, where is Y/N and Andrew - wherever you two are please head to the set. We still have more scenes to film, and unfortunately, 5 hours may not be enough.”
The two of you looked at each other, both you and Andrew’s cheeks starting to turn red.
“I think we better head there now.” You muttered quietly.
Andrew nodded, walking out of the room with you.
“You know that paparazzi will have something to say about this right?” You smiled, as you and Andrew stepped out of the car that brought you to the location of your premiere.
He shrugged, “The paparazzi always have something to say about everything. So what, if we came in the same car together for the premiere. One, it saves the earth from a whole ton of pollution. Two, it’s fun. And three, it’s none of their business.”
“Actually, they literally get paid for it.”
“Still don’t care.”
As soon as the two of you entered the building, you were met with flashes from the various cameras.
Walking across the red carpet, Andrew suddenly placed an arm around your waist making you smile despite the nerves in your stomach.
“Are you two dating?” One of the many reporters and journalists asked in the midst of the flashing lights.
“No.” The two of you said at the same time, causing you two to look at each other and laugh.
Another question was then shouted, “Then why did you come in the same car together?”
“To save the earth from pollution.” Andrew answered before the two of you walked deeper into the room.
“And it's none of your business.” You whispered so that only your co-star could hear, causing him to laugh even harder than last time.
You thought you were going to spend the day just aimlessly scrolling through Netflix until Andrew called.
Like you wouldn’t let him wreck your plans.
“Do you have anything important scheduled for today?” He asked as soon as you answered the call.
“No. Why?” You asked, turning off the tv and throwing the remote on the coffee table.
“Well, Jimmy Fallon invited me again on the show, most likely for an interview. And I was wondering if you could come with me. You can just stay backstage if you want. Then afterwards, we head out for dinner?”
This made you smile, “Are you asking me out on a date, Garfield?”
He chuckled, “I think. Maybe. Yes. Yes, I am.”
“What time will I pick you up then?”
“I’ll pick you up at five.”
Four hours later, you were watching Andrew’s interview with Jimmy while backstage.
“A little birdie told me that you brought Y/N along and she’s backstage.” Jimmy smiled.
Andrew nodded, “That little birdie is right then.”
“Why don’t we bring her up here then.”
Next thing you knew, you were being asked to walk on stage.
“Hi!” You greeted Jimmy as you gave him a hug.
“How did you get out?” Andrew asked, giving you a smile as you sat down beside him, “You’re my hostage and I specifically locked the door so you wouldn’t get out.”
You stuck your tongue out at him, “Well, I’m sorry if you did such an amazing job at kidnapping and holding me captive.”
“Isn’t this adorable.” Jimmy cooed, “Oh, wait, and that reminds me. Andrew, did you happen to see our last interview with Y/N a few weeks ago.”
You glared at the host, “Don’t you even dare.”
Andrew shook his head, “I remember putting it in my watch later list but I haven’t watched it yet.”
“Well, then, play the clip.”
The moment Jimmy had said that, the screen behind you suddenly flashed - showing the clip of you accidentally confessing your feelings for Andrew.
You swear you could’ve died from embarrassment.
“So, any reactions to that Andrew?” Jimmy asked.
Andrew looked at before asking, “You want my honest opinion?”
“Yes please.”
“Well,” He then said, giving you a smile, “honestly, this is practically a dream come true for me. I mean, I have been utterly in love with this woman ever since I saw her in her first movie When the Clouds Cover the Sky and I have been one of her biggest fans ever since. Like, if she has a new movie - I would literally be clearing my whole schedule just to watch it. Honestly, I was almost literally bouncing off the walls when she agreed to do the film we’re working on now.”
“Really?” You asked quietly.
Andrew nodded, squeezing your hand, “Really. Really.”
A realization suddenly struck you, “You were the one who ‘highly recommended’ me for the film to Lin? Didn’t you?”
Andrew grinned, giving a chuckle, “Guilty as charged.”
Jimmy clapped his hands together, “Once again, my match making skills have paid off. Unfortunately, we’re all out of time. Thank you two for coming on to the show and hopefully we’ll have you back again soon, together.”
Andrew reached for your hand as the two of you walked out of the studio, “So, is the dinner still on or we’ll just head back to my place?”
You playfully rolled your eyes at him, “Take me out to dinner first, Garfield. Then we’ll go back to your place and see what happens.”
He grinned, turning you to face him and before you could say anything else, he cupped your face in his hands and connected your lips together.
“Wow.” You whispered, opening your eyes to look up at him.
“How was it?” He asked.
“Perfect.”
“I know. I know.”
“So, does this mean you’re my girlfriend now?” He smirked.
“Well, you have to ask to know the answer.”
Jokingly rolling his eyes at you, he asked, “Fine, will you be my girlfriend, Y/N Y/M/N L/N.”
You gave him a teasing smile, “I’ll think about it. Give me a day or two.”
“Y/N.”
“Of course it's a yes! After everything that happened in the last 10 minutes, do you really expect me to say no?”

Rough Day
Florence Pugh x Reader
Warnings: none, just some fluff
Word count: 1,087
A/n: this is my first time writing in like 2 years, maybe more. pls be nice :)
*gif not mine
Tumblr media
It’s been a long day at work, no doubt. The entire day was a shit show, from your boss yelling at you all morning, to the surprise snow storm you had to walk through just to get to your car that conveniently was parked 2 blocks away from your job. But the one and only thing getting you through it is being able to talk to your girlfriend, Florence, once you get in the door.
Florence has been gone for over 2 months now filming a new movie and although you were nothing but proud and excited for her, it didn’t change the fact that not being able to see her every day was proving to be more of a challenge than you thought.
That’s why the second you got inside of your apartment, you ran straight for your laptop to open Facetime, not even stopping to change out of your wet clothes from the snowy weather outside. Florence was more important.
Seconds went by as the line rang, keeping you staring at your reflection on the screen before a smiling Florence popped up, causing your stomach to drop. Even after the 8 months you had been together, seeing her face still made you so nervous.
“Hello my love, how are you?” Florence screamed at the screen, her heavy accent coming through. You could tell that she had just woken from a nap, her hair all disheveled and accent thick.
“Better now that I get to see you, how was your day?”
“Oh, boring as always, nothing going on at all,” she joked, making you roll your eyes and smile. “But how are you darling? How was work? I want to hear everything.”
30 minutes went by, you telling Flo about how your boss was being an ass again and how someone stole your lunch for the 2nd time this week. You weren’t going to pretend you weren’t struggling, you had been feeling so stressed out at work and having to keep up with the house work and not having Flo there on top of everything was really bringing you down. Normally you were one to keep everything in but just the way she was looking at you made you let all of your grievances out at once.
“Y/N, I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize you were feeling things so intensely about everything. I miss you every day, I can’t wait to be back home with you.”
You nodded, letting out a huge sigh of relief after getting everything out. Talking to Flo always helped. But there was still a huge pit at the bottom of your stomach, one that was always there whenever you were away from Flo.
“Is there anything I can do to make you feel better? Anything?” Florence asked, looking at you with those beautiful eyes. Truthfully, all you wanted and needed was a big Florence hug, nothing more. But under these circumstances, you’d have to settle for the next best thing.
Thinking, you closed your eyes, rubbing your hands all over your face to get rid of some of the tension built up from the long day.
“Can you just talk? About anything, really. I love to hear your voice, even if you’re so far away. It helps a lot.”
A huge smile formed on Florence’s lips as she nodded, “Anything for you my love.”
She went into an almost hour long story about how she and her co-stars are in a massive prank war, spreading to the crew and director now. Even with the elaborate story, all you could do was stare into her eyes, getting lost in them as her beautiful voice filled your ears. You could literally feel the tension and stress flow away the longer she spoke. You hadn’t realized that you eventually closed your eyes while listening, placing your head on your arms as you leaned on the desk.
“Baby, are you sleepy? Do you need to go to bed?” Florence spoke once she realized you had put your head down. She wasn’t mad or anything, she actually found it quite cute the way you had a soft smile on your face as she spoke.
“Maybe, but I just want to keep listening to you talk. Please, just for a few more minutes,” you spoke, as a yawn took over for the last half of the sentence. Florence chucked and nodded, as she wrapped up her story.
You shot your head up once you realized she wasn’t talking anymore, only to find her staring at you through the screen. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“You’re just so cute when you sleep, you look so peaceful,” she said with a hint of a smile.
“I wasn’t sleeping, I was just resting my eyes,” you said, the weight of your eyes finally setting in. You were exhausted, ready to crawl into bed, but with so much still left to be done in the house and with dinner.
Florence noticed the small crease setting in between your brows, causing her to frown and jump in to ask what was wrong.
“I just have so much to do tonight but all I want is to get in bed and sleep. With you.”
Silence fell over the two of you. Flo couldn’t help but notice the twinkle of tears in your eyes, seeing the exhaustion on your face. If only she were there to make things easier. “I know darling, I know. That’s what I want too.”
Whipping out her phone, she quickly pushed a few buttons and then set it back down.
“Forget all that you have to do tonight baby. I just ordered your favorite Ramen to be delivered to the house, it should be there in about 45 minutes. Go hop in the shower, wash the day away, and then crawl into bed with your food and relax, okay?”
You looked up at her, ready to cry. “Why would you do that for me?” Your voice was small, fearing you’d let your tears go if you spoke any louder.
She smiled, shaking her head. “Because you’ve had a long day and the least I can do is make things easier for you. I love you, please, go take care of yourself.”
With that, you said your goodbyes, promising to talk tomorrow at the same time, and after, you did as you were told and got in the shower with a permanent smile on your face, thinking about how you had the absolute best girlfriend ever.

chapter twenty two: i love you
previous  <  masterpost  >  next
Tumblr media
note. i am sorry for the veeeery long wait; i finally finished it tonight (after fucking up with it for two whole months) but yeah, my emotions are quite unstable right now so this was affected by it (in short, this is a roller coaster ride so pls be ready)
playlist. stay (acoustic ver.); never let me go (both sung by ghostly kisses)
Tumblr media
You absolutely had no idea what you were doing right now. As far as you could remember, you were the playwright, the writer of the script. You never had any interest in acting in plays, musicals, nor acting in general… none at all – so why is it that right now, you were standing right on the side of the stage, waiting for the cue for you to come out, dressed up as someone you weren’t supposed to be, someone you were only supposed to have written for?
You swear, this was the most chaotic crowd you have ever seen your whole life. You only watched, alongside Hajime, as people lined up right by the entrance of the university’s theater, murmuring and gossiping about the play that was less than an hour away from starting, “I gotta say, they look way too excited for a story that they should know like the back of their hands by now. It’s kind of funny,” Hajime chuckled, letting out a quiet ‘yeah’ as he shoved his hands in his pockets, watching you cringe on the girls that were obviously here for your best friend. You swore you heard one of them say they’re going to ask him out after the play and you almost wanted to drag her out of the venue by her hair.
“I would say it would be a waste of a ticket for people who are here just to gush about handsome faces instead of the story itself but then again, it’s us who are benefiting from it anyway.” You huffed and muttered a few more things under your breath, beginning to walk to the direction of the entrance for the crew members which was on the farther side of the theater, Hajime silently following and shaking his head out of amusement for your obvious jealousy. I can’t wait for the time when it’s me you’re being jealous for, he thinks.
You thought the crowd outside was chaotic? Nothing could have prepared you for the view you were welcomed to as soon as you entered the backstage. Literally, almost all of the crew members were running around frantically, pushing the small and large props here and there. Hajime, as if he had his ‘danger’ instincts set on, grabbed you by the waist and pulled you to his side just right when a random lad passed by where you were at a while ago, struggling to carry what looked like a heavy log on his shoulder (you figured it would be for one of the scenes that were supposed to be in the forest). You were sure as hell that if you weren’t moved out of the way by your friend, the lad would’ve collided with you and that thing he was holding would’ve fell on you because he was too busy looking back and chatting with his companion who was carrying other props.
Irritated by their carelessness, Hajime clicked his tongue and spoke up, “Oi, you two have to be careful and watch where you’re going. You might just cause an accident with what you’re doing.” The boys replied with an insincere apology, immediately going back to their business. You were soon brought to your senses as well and realized that you were still in his arms. Blushing profusely, you muttered a quiet ‘thanks,’ too flustered to think of a more decent reply. Hajime raised an eyebrow, smirking before leaning his head close to yours again, foreheads touching each other, much like the other day.
“You’re red. Are you feeling sick?” If it was someone he wasn’t close with, it would look like he’s just being concerned but you know better because you can practically hear the teasing behind his voice, so, you punched him right by his shoulders, muttering with a hint of shyness in your tone, “Asshole. Stop trying to tease me, it’s way too much for me. When the fuck did you even get so brave to act like this with me? Jerk.”
He cackled, slinging his arm around your shoulder, and beginning to pull you deeper inside the backstage. You both stood idly by the corner of the backstage, watching the actors get ready. From your position, you could see your blonde best friend, eyes looking lost as they wandered around the area until it stopped right to where you were. You think you held a staring contest for about twenty seconds until your companion spoke up, “You know, I personally think it would be better if you go to him and say your good luck, yeah? Nothing’s going to happen if you just stare at each other all day. I’m willing to share you with him… just for today though. After this, no more.”
A confused expression formed on your face, wondering what he meant, though he just snickered and ruffled your head, “I said… go to him before I change my mind and pull you away from here.”
“I can’t. These days, I’ve been feeling way too many feelings and I don’t know how to control them. I feel like… I might just burst and tell him everything but I don’t want to. I’m not ready yet,” you admitted, fiddling with your fingers as you looked down, only for your head to be raised up again as Hajime held it up using your chin, a tender smile plastered on his face.
“Tell you what… if you lose control and everything goes astray, just look at me and I’ll save you, like a knight-in-shining-armor,” he whispers, patting you on the head before pushing you towards your best friend who was still looking, by the way. You took a deep breath, stopping right in front of him, biting your lip before opening your mouth to say something but Atsumu beat you to it, arms immediately going around your form and pulling you into a bone-crushing hug, “I’m sorry,” He mumbles into your hair, while you nod, reciprocating the gesture, “I… I’ve been such a shitty best friend, huh?”
“Yeah, right,” You huffed, trying to look mad and intimidating but it only came off as cute in Atsumu’s vocabulary, “After this, I’ll treat you to this really good restaurant. We can talk about anything and everything you want to tell me, even if they’re bad, I’ll listen, yeah?” He suggested, his hold on you still not loosening as he looked down on you, “I’d prefer it if only good things come out of your pretty mouth though.”
You rolled your eyes, getting ready to retort as usual but a loud crash and a cry of pain interrupted you. Looking to the source of the sound, your eyes, as well as Atsumu’s widened. You can only watch as Yui, who was on the floor, clutching her ankles, angrily screech at the boy who was bowing his head and apologizing, the large piece of wood you luckily avoided a while ago found its victim and it’s the main actress of the play, “What the fuck! Why weren’t you watching where you’re going?! Look at what you did!”
Your best friend jogged towards her and once again, you were left behind. Love seriously sucks, you thought as you watch him try to shush Yui’s cries. The director, who heard about the situation, ran to where you are, asking what happened. “I think her ankles are injured, Miyu-chan,” you quickly replied, anxiety beginning to arise within you because what was supposed to happen now? You can’t cancel this play; you all have been working for months for this! Besides, the theater must be full of the audience now. As if she was reading your mind, she spoke up, “We can’t cancel this now, but we can’t force her to act as well. She can barely stand up, look. Mina, tell Mari to ask the audience to wait for a little while more, we have to think of a solution.”
By now, Atsumu was supporting her, making their way towards you with Yui limping, “Miyu-san…” “No, Yui. I know what you’re going to say but I won’t let you do that. Go to the infirmary and have your ankles checked. Your well-being is more important than this play,” the director firmly said, much to the brown-haired girl’s dismay.
“But you can’t cancel it! The people who bought the tickets will get mad! I can do this, it barely hurts, Miyu-san!” Yui pleaded, even going as far lifting her injured foot in a pathetic attempt to show that she was fine but it only put her to a worse situation as soon as she winced. Miyu only gave her a look of ‘I told you so.’
“Don’t worry about the play, Yui-chan. YN can replace you in your role.”
“What?!” “WHAT?” You simultaneously yelled out, obviously not expecting the sudden decision to be made, much less one that has something to do with you, “Wait, wait, wait… Miyu-chan, aren’t you being a little rash right now? I’m not a good actress!”
“She’s right!” Yui scoffed, “I’ve been practicing this for so long and you’re going to replace me with someone who never did?!”
“That’s right,” Miyu nodded, crossing her arms, “She knows the script and the lines better than anyone here. And don’t try to fool me, YN, you know you can act.” Her unrelenting eyes told you that she knew everything there was to know; she’s been your friend for more than a year now, after all.
“Oh, well. You won’t change my mind no matter what you say, so just go, Yui. Iwaizumi-kun, sorry for this sudden request but can you take Yui to the infirmary after what we’re going to do?” Hajime blinked but nodded, nonetheless. He feels somewhat sorry for the brunette who was on the verge of tears as she was helped by the crew members into one of the changing rooms to undress her costume.
It’s definitely not the first time in your life but you felt like vomiting the breakfast you had this morning.
Tumblr media
You already lost count of how many times you took a deep breath in hopes that your heart will calm down. You listened as Mari neared the end of her welcoming rites and speech for the play, placing your hands on your chest as a final attempt to get tranquility within. The fairytale-like background music began to play and soon, a younger version of your character appeared on the stage; it’s the beginning of your Cinderella play. To be honest, you don’t even know where they got that child actress and how they managed to convince her to join the play but right now, you couldn’t care less because all you’re thinking of right now is how to not mess up your lines and deliver them with the proper emotions.
Your brother, Osamu, Tooru, Makki and Mattsun, who you were sure as hell were in the audience, will never let you hear the end of it if you mess this up. You don’t want to live the rest of your days in Japan being a laughingstock. No way, you refu–
“You’re thinking too much about it. Calm down,” A voice from behind you interrupted, hands beginning to massage your shoulders to get your stiff muscles to relax. Turning around, you were met with the one and only Miya Atsumu in a prince costume. Right there and then, you felt like your heart’s going to burst for a different reason this time.
Goodness heavens, Lord Jesus, thank you for blessing me with this beautiful man and letting me meet him, you thought as you savored the view in front of you, also thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Miya  for successfully creating Atsumu and delivering him to the Earth, it must have difficult to produce such fine masterpiece.
“Ya look… beautiful,” the blonde mutters, a hand rubbing his nape and sheepishly grinning, a slight blush adorning his cheeks, “Ya should dress up yourself from time to time, yanno? It really suits you.”
“Gee, thanks for calling me ugly on my normal days,” you scoffed, giggling when he let out a sound of disagreement, “No! That’s not what I meant, idiot!”
“I know.”
Before you can continue your conversation, the signal for you to come out is finally closing in as the “stepsisters” appeared onstage. Rather shakily, you took a step forward, almost tripping on your dress due to your nerves. You were fortunate that Atsumu was attentive enough to grab your wrist, “YN, I told you to calm down.”
You gulped, nodding and taking a deep breath. He smiled upon seeing the determined look on your face and for some reason, his body moved on its own - placing a hand on your cheek with his thumb rubbing it, he approached you and placed his lips on your forehead. Maybe it’s because you were so nervous or maybe it’s because you longed for this moment for almost your whole life. Whatever the reason is, you just find yourself tearing up a little bit as he whispers, “That’s my girl.”
Never in your life had you wished that time can stop this much before. As you stood still in Atsumu’s embrace, you felt your heart being squeezed with so much love yet pain at the same time. How is it that he’s so close yet he’s someone you can’t have?
“I love you, Atsumu,” you tell him, eyes still watery; heart hoping that it reaches him, that he picks up the meaning behind your words. But he doesn’t, as he stops to look at you, he squints his eyes in a joking manner as he speaks, “Hey, why do you look so emotional today?”
Disappointment grows in the depths of your whole being, though you don’t show him that. Because perhaps this was enough, you can try again another day. You’ll try and try until he finally understands. You can do that… you’ve been holding on pretty well the past fifteen years, so you huff instead, ignoring the painful thump of your heart, “Nothing, you jerk! Is it really that weird to hear me say I love you to you, hah?!”
You hear the dialogue of one of the stepsisters, calling out as your cue. You start to trudge forward but before you could fully go, he replies, “I love you too, YN, always remember that although I’m so shitty sometimes.”
Yeah, this is enough for now.
Tumblr media
Perhaps, you shouldn’t have been so confident in saying that; you should’ve just been straight to the point because nothing has ever compared to the agony engulfing your insides as Miya Atsumu sat in front of you in a random booth of a restaurant, speaking the words you’ve always dreaded to hear as a Moira and as his very own soulmate, “YN, I think I’m done waiting for my soulmate. Can’t you just cut my thread off please?”

part 1 /// part 2 //// part 3
gravity
ever since i ever felt ya, right there life couldn't seem better. tulip flowers in my sweater. ask me now, is this forever?
you rested your chin on the table before you, your arms hanging limply between your knees as you listened to your manager, dana. you were really just watching her mouth open and close while she pointed at a powerpoint. god, what you would've given for an extra hour of sleep. the all nighters in the studio were starting to take a toll.
the feeling of the back of daisy’s soft hands brought you back to earth. the smell of cocoa butter dancing beneath your nostrils as her smooth engagement ring rolled across your cheek. you breathed in her smell, exhaling in content through your nose.
“you good?” she mouthed and you closed your eyes, giving her a little nod. the bassist rubbed her calloused fingers against your forehead, pushing strands of your hair past your hairline. you pouted when she eventually pulled away, leaving you only with the sensation of touch that once was.
you heard tyler shift in his seat and then felt some air graze against your hand. you looked under the table, noticing he was holding something out to you. you two made eye contact briefly before you scooted back in, grabbing what felt like an envelope. looking down at your lap, you saw a sticky note attached to it. jason’s money was what it said. you carefully put the envelope in your jacket pocket, sitting back in your seat now and looking at dana’s powerpoint. she was going over reports from your publicist, jerry, which you didn't particularly care about.
“now, i have to ask,” dana’s words pierced your bubble of inattention. “have you all thought about what i said about this next album?”
jordy raised his hand like a school kid. “yes?”
“y/n and i decided that we'd be okay with making our album a group project. it has been, admittedly, kinda hard and boring without everyone else. we’d honestly be doing ourselves a disservice by not doing it together,” jordy explained, dana clapping her hands together.
“wonderful,” she nodded, keeping her hands clasped. “i know you two were excited to do your own thing, but i was talking to jerry and he was really pressing me to get a group album from you guys. the people wanna see you guys as a unit of established artists, which you all are. so what's the concept? we never discussed it.”
“uh,” you verbally paused, raising your arms above your head to stretch. “disco, jazz, and funk. it's a mix of those.”
“retro is in right now,” dana nodded, pacing around the room. “how far back will this set us on a release date?”
you grimaced, leaning back in your seat, the back of the seat lightly bouncing as it absorbed your weight. you pondered the question for a moment. “if it’s gonna be a group thing, it'll have to be significantly longer. we have a decent starting off point but i'm gonna need way more songs now.”
“what about the rest of you? any tracks that we could swing?” dana asked, looking at the rest of the group.
grabbing a pen and piece of scrap paper, you started jotting down notes as everyone spoke out to you. dex and quinton didn’t have anything, but they wouldn’t be a problem. you just needed to give them a beat to rap over and you’d be set. the twins had a finished song already that fit the concept, which was good. with tyler’s voice and aly’s excellent song writing abilities, you doubted very seriously that anything else needed to be done to it. daisy and hector had plenty of lyricless songs, too. funk and soul was their specialty, after all. misha even had a demo track she was willing to share.
you looked over the notes you had taken, tapping your pen on the table as you hummed to yourself. “this could probably work. we’ll need to go over everything in the studio, though.”
“we should just do it now. no one is doing shit else today, right?” dex asked the group, who all shook their head.
“i have a request,” you raised your finger, looking at dana. “i want gotham to be involved in this project.”
“gotham…” dana repeated slowly, unsure of what you meant. “care to elaborate?”
“music videos directed by student directors from gotham university, commissioning local artists for album art. dancers, actors, musicians, whatever. all of them have to be from gotham. i don't want any of the money we put into this project leaving this city,” you stated firmly, dana giving you a blank look.
“i like that idea,” hector said, giving you a kind smile before turning to dana, shifting in his seat. the drummer was like a big brother, always backing you up in moments like these. “accessibility to the arts is really limited here and we should change that.”
“i’d rather give back to the city, too,” quinton agreed, playing with the gold cross hanging from his neck. “we’re one of the only groups in gotham known outside of gotham. we should use that as an opportunity to rep our city.”
“it sounds like you have your minds made up on this,” dana narrowed her eyes, letting out a sigh. “it would definitely be good PR.”
“because god forbid we do something out of the kindness of our hearts,” misha laughed, rolling her eyes. “we're trying to put the city on and you're worried about how it makes us look.”
“that's my job, misha. don't you want me to do my job?” dana retorted. “besides, i'm more concerned with the funding. you all don't have disposable income, believe it or not.”
“but i know someone who does,” she said with a singsong tone, giving you a look.
“i hope you're not referring to me,” you deadpanned. your income was far from disposable.
“i’m referring to our good friend, bruce wayne,” she explained, grabbing a business card out of her purse, handing it over to dana. “ever since i got invited to that charity gala, i've had a direct line to a representative with the wayne foundation. i say we ask them to help fund the project.”
“now that could work,” dana admitted, eyeing the card as she tapped her foot. “if we pitch for more youth involvement, it'll probably go over better. we all know how much bruce wayne loves saving the children.”
you frowned at how dana described bruce’s initiatives as a philanthropist. you were sure his motivations for favoring youth projects were good intentioned, considering his parents had been killed when he was just a little boy. you wanted to go into this good intentioned, too and you hoped that they'd agree. they being the wayne foundation and subsequently, bruce himself.
“ty and quinton could do something with forrester. if we’re going for the youth involvement route, i mean,” aly spoke up.
“forrester correctional. our old stomping grounds,” quinton sighed wistfully as he patted tyler on the shoulder. “i think that would be a good idea.”
“they use the arts as an outlet for them, so it could be beneficial for everyone,” tyler nodded. “there are a lot of good kids there. just unfortunate circumstances, that’s all.”
“wasn’t one of bruce’s son’s a troublemaker before he was adopted?” aly continued, not noticing the look you and tyler shared. “i’m sure he’d probably be interested in doing something with them if his son comes from the same background.”
“it’s settled, then. you all keep working on the music. jerry and i will handle the rest. we need this album out before hector and daisy’s wedding,” dana said, grabbing her suitcase.
hey, i have your money. did you still want it?
you stared down at the unsent message, your thumb floating over the send arrow. you hadn’t spoken to jason since that night after the race, as per his request. your mind kept wandering back to it, even as time still went on. what happened was scary, to say the least. fun, but scary. you wondered how the hell jason didn’t get the two of you killed. that part, you didn't want to think about too hard. everyone in gotham had their secrets and it was an unspoken rule amongst citizens to not pry. secrets were secrets for a reason. nothing good ever came from unearthing them.
speaking of secrets, you hadn't exactly told tyler and quinton what happened that night. not in detail. you conveniently left out the chase and stopping to get something to eat. omitting the first part was obvious, but the second one was for your own sanity. you didn't need them teasing you over nothing. besides, all that mattered was no one was dead or arrested. and for the way the three of you used to get down, that was a win.
you considered texting jason earlier this week, just to check in on him, but you decided against it. he obviously wanted you to text him and you obviously had to do the opposite. his little mind game wasn’t going to work on you. you pressed send, frowning immediately as you did so.
maybe it already had.
“it’s too many people in this bitch,” dex sighed, the cold of the water bottle you had asked him for against your hand bringing you back to reality. blinking, you were suddenly very aware of the chaos surrounding you in the studio as you put your phone back in your pocket. you looked to your left, where jordy was leaning against the wall and scrolling through his phone. to your right was aly, who was scribbling in her songbook in the chair next to you. you remembered you were supposed to be working, too. “we need a new stu.”
“i’m working on it!” hector hollered from inside the booth as he and daisy were setting up equipment and instruments. you glanced up at the glass in front when you heard his voice, accidentally catching the pair share a little kiss. you quickly averted your gaze, smiling to yourself.
“new stu, new view, what it do?” quinton began to freestyle to a beat he was making on the coffee table in front of him. “off 92, posted up with southside crew.”
“okay,” dex laughed, noddinh his head as he was vibing with the beat, making his way out of your line of sight. you heard someone, presumably tyler, join in and add some depth to the beat. it sounded like he was hitting a pencil against a shot glass.
“i got a new boo, but i’m tryna slide with misha, too,” quinton continued, dex adlibbing in the back as quinton lowered his voice to his signature melodic whisper. “on the low, nobody gotta know.”
“would you shut the fuck up?” you heard misha say, followed by a barrage of muffled smacking noises and verbal objections from quinton, who you assumed was on the receiving end of what sounded like an assault by pillow.
laughing to yourself, you leaned your head in aly’s direction, not fully facing her. “pass me the flash drive?” you held your hand out weakly. once you felt the plastic in your palm, you leaned back over and put it into the computer, pulling up the proper files.
“we’re done back here,” daisy smiled at you, she and hector coming out from the booth.
you clapped your hands together. “wonderful. everybody shut up, please.”
you pulled up the twin’s song and let it play, your eyes fixed on the colorful audio loops on the screen. the green ones were tyler’s vocals, the purple were aly’s. it looked like blue was reserved for instruments and red was any added sound effects or layered sounds.
“you two sound really great,” jordy walked up behind aly’s seat, leaning against it as he swayed his head to the beat.
“thanks. i wrote it with our mother in mind,” aly said, the words coming out of her mouth uncomfortably. you placed your hand on hers and gave it a little squeeze, which earned you a look of appreciation.
“it's missing something, though,” tyler scratched the back of his head. “i need the producer squad to give us some assistance.”
“oh, say less,” dex laughed, snapping his fingers to the beat with one hand and holding his glass of hennessy in the other. he danced his way over, taking aly’s seat as she, tyler and jordy moved to give you all some space.
misha sauntered her way over, sitting against the table and flipping her hair over her shoulder. the smell of her sweet perfume floated in the air around you. “i think it just needs some fluffing up. some snapping might work. more vocal layering in certain spots.”
“i agree,” you nodded, dex letting out a satisfied sigh as he took a sip of his cold drink.
“is it good?” misha asked him teasingly and he took his final swig, letting out a more dramatic and drawn out sigh. this time, though, it was on beat with the song. you were pretty sure it was unintentional on his part, since he and misha just shared a laugh before returning their attention to the screen.
after a moment of pondering, you swiveled around in your chair, looking at tyler. “okay, hear me out…”
two weeks of very diligent working between the nine of you had given you a lot to work with for the album. all that was left was to start putting things together. you still had a ways to go, but you had a good starting off point. as much as you hated to admit it, it was a good call on dana’s part to have you all do a group album. the fans seemed to be greatly anticipating the release and the work ethic the nine of you shared was incredible. even in that cramped little studio, you all made it work.
you all agreed to take the day off, but you were still working at some capacity. you had just traded one small space for another, working in your walk-in closet/home studio for the day. you still needed said walk-in to function as a closet, so there were still garment bags pushed up into a corner and shoe boxes haphazardly stacked, surrounding your desk that you had shoved in there. there was just enough space for you to move your chair and safely get out without twisting an ankle, a fate you often flirted with in that room.
in the spirit of your day off, you hadn't done anything too difficult. you were just trying to decide what order you wanted the completed songs to go in. it may seem like an insignificant detail, but the order was important. the transitions between songs couldn't be jarring for the listener. everything had to flow together with natural progression. at this point, it didn't matter since you weren't done with the album, but it was just giving you an idea of how to fill the gaps with future songs.
the sound of your growling stomach indicated that it was time to stop for the day. you quickly saved all your work and headed to the kitchen. you popped some leftovers in the microwave and scrolled on twitter while you waited. the microwave beeped at you, so you set your phone back down and grabbed the bowl, mixing up the contents with your fork. the flash of light coming from your phone got your attention. a text notification.
are you home?
oh, so now he wanted to respond? cute.
despite your annoyance with the situation, you quickly responded with a yes and set the phone back down. you leaned against the counter, eating what little food you had in your reheated bowl. you mixed the contents around with your fork, grumbling. stupid jason and his stupid inability to text back. he could have at least had the decency to leave you on read. he probably didn't even have read receipts on. you weren't sure which was worse. tossing your now empty bowl into the sink, you grabbed your phone to read his next message.
i’ll be over soon.
soon was very vague and you wished that you would've demanded an exact time, but that opportunity had passed by the time you thought about it. you busied yourself with tidying up, trying to make your place look presentable. you even lit your new candle, which you found yourself focusing your attention on while you waited for him to show up. staring at the flame was much more entrancing than you anticipated.
you heard the door buzzer go off. you weren't expecting anyone else, so it had to be him. you leaned against the wall, pressing your finger to the button.
“who goes there?” you presented the question as a joke, but your tone was a little flat.
“it’s the irs,” jason’s voice came through and you buzzed him in.
not too long after, you heard him knock on the door. you cracked it open and the first thing you noticed was his cologne. it was a strong but pleasant scent. spicy and sweet. it was very intoxicating, actually. so much so that you almost forgot you were angry at him.
“hi.”
“hello.”
you opened the door fully and handed the envelope to him. jason eyed it suspiciously. he opened it up and began to count it out in front of you. he made an effort to do it very slow, the sound of the crisp dollars echoing in the quiet hall. his eyes stayed glued to yours as he counted out loud. you leaned against the doorframe as you watched.
“six… seven… eight,” he said, pulling out his wallet and stuffing it with the cash. “thought you would've skimmed some off the top.”
“i should have with how long you made me wait,” you said matter of factly, letting your annoyance be known now.
“i know. i’m sorry,” he sounded honest but you couldn't see it in his face or in his eyes, which was worrisome. it was a nice alternative to listening to a sputter of excuses, though. “let me make it up to you?”
“how do you plan on doing that?”
“i’m so glad you asked,” he smiled. “as it turns out, i've recently come into some money. let me spend it on you?”
“so you like throwing money at your problems?” you asked him. well, you weren't really asking. it was more like you were telling him.
“no,” he said, sounding a little offended. “i just thought-”
“you just thought that throwing money at me would make me forget about the fact that you ignored me for a month.”
“no, no,” he shook his head, sighing in frustration. “listen, i-”
“i really don't wanna hear it,” you said honestly, watching as his frustrated look turned into kicked puppy. you almost felt bad. “i don't like feeling stupid, jason. that's how i feel right now. i want you to make it up to me but you'll have to be a bit more creative than this.”
“you want me to make it up to you?” jason had repeated, confusion on his face.
you poked him harshly in the chest. “you do that or you leave me alone. those are your options. goodbye.”
you shut the door in his face and let out the breath you were holding in. you weren’t sure how jason was going to react to your little ultimatum, but those were your terms. you liked him but you weren’t going to stress over someone you barely knew, especially with your assumptions about him floating around in your head.
“i’ll be right back,” you heard him say through the door, catching you off guard.
“what?”
“don’t go anywhere.”
you didn’t respond but you heard his footsteps getting quieter as he walked down the hall. the elevator ding indicated that he had left. you stood there, confused as to what it was he was trying to do. you were still stewing in your negative emotions, so you went and busied yourself again. you decided the dishes needed washing and got on it right away. in the middle of scrubbing the stubborn sauce stains out of your plate, you heard your door buzzer go off again.
so he did come back after all. interesting.
you buzzed him in like you did before and waited by the door for him. he knocked and when you opened it, you were met with two gifts: a bouquet of pink tulips and a small box of something from the bakery around the corner.
“i shouldn’t have ignored you. it was rude and stupid and i’m sorry. it won’t happen again,” he said to you, holding out the items to you. you hesitantly accepted them, taking the opportunity to look through the plastic opening of the box to see chocolate covered strawberries.
“it better not happen again,” you pouted, looking up at him. you had to appreciate the effort he put in at such short notice. it was a sweet gesture and he actually looked sorry this time.
“it won’t,” he assured you and you smiled.
“i forgive you. but you’re on thin fucking ice,” you reminded him and he grinned at you with a nod.
“i’m going to make it up to you. just you wait,” he said confidently. “not all of us are naturally creative like you, though. you gotta give me some time to think of something else.”
“seems like you’re getting your feet wet with the flower selection,” you noted, taking a whiff of the delicate and fresh scent. they’d look nice on your coffee table.
“lady at the shop said they would convey my sincerest apologies,” he explained, a hopeful look in his eyes. “did it work?”
“for now,” you shrugged, setting the items down on the table next to the door.
“i can accept that.”
“you’re gonna have to because that’s all i’m giving you,” you said firmly. his charm wasn’t going to get him out of this one. not completely. “now go away. i want to eat my berries in peace.”
“i’ll text you as soon as i get the chance,” he told you as you were shutting the door. you peered at him, narrowing your eyes before shutting it again. “i’m serious!”
“goodbye, jason!” you said through the door. you heard his faint farewell as you walked away, plopping on the couch with your dessert in hand.
were you still a little mad at him? yes. but you weren’t going to pass up free stuff, even if you had made all that fuss about the money earlier. at least the gifts had some thought behind them. so long as he held up his end of the deal, you had a feeling being friends with jason wouldn’t be that bad.
hopefully, anyway.

happy vo.re day everyone!!! here’s my cringe fic to commemorate :-)
(no ao3 link this time im too self conscious)
this idea came about while talking to the lovely @chili-kinks and they made this in conjunction with my fic so please check them out!!
anyway this fic features pre.game oum.asai and soft, same size vo.re, you have been warned. also bad words
“IIIIT’S PUNISHMENT TIME!!!”
The screen cut to a large Monokuma towering over the latest blackened, a small blonde girl with a long pigtail. The demonic bear picked up the girl and began to lick all over as she struggled in his grasp. Slowly lifting her above his head, Monokuma bent his head back and opened the gates of hell: his half-fanged mouth, with drool beginning to form around it. The girl was screaming and flailing about as she was lowered further down to her demise. Monokuma’s fist released her without effort, the blackened dropping right into his gaping maw. It slammed shut with a metal clang, and the bear gave a loud, deafening gulp.
Saihara’s eyes were glued to the T.V., in a more intense manner than usual. What a cruel way to go, even for Danganronpa standards. He had many ideas about his own execution someday, but this… this was definitely one to consider. He could only imagine how she felt wriggling around in his large belly, put to an eternal sleep with a comforting blanket of warmth. His shaky hands moved to text his boyfriend Ouma, who sadly couldn’t make it to their weekly Danganronpa viewing because of heaps of school projects. He knew Ouma was more into the mystery aspect of the show than the gruesome killings, but he simply couldn’t resist.
Saihara: omgomgomg did you see the latest episode???
Ouma: I did. I had it on in the background so I could work.
Saihara: what did you think of the execution? :D
Ouma: It was… something. Unexpected, definitely.
It was difficult for the taller boy to contain his fantasizing, to say the least.
Saihara: i love the way she was screaming for dear life,,, it was soooo satisfying in the end! god i wish i were monokuma… tasting a victim would be so worth ittt
Ouma: Uh, Saihara?
Saihara: yea?
Ouma: I think you should go to bed. You have school tomorrow. And… you’re scaring me a little.
Saihara: sorry kichi… but fiiiine ill see you tomorrow.
The last thing he wanted was to make Ouma uncomfortable. And he was a man of his word, he’d take his advice and get to bed. However, there was one thing he wanted to try first. Rummaging around in his snack drawer, he found a small bag of Monokuma-themed gummy bears. He couldn’t stop thinking about having something whole run down his throat… and what better way to do it than try on a small candy? He frantically opened the bag and plucked out a red gummy. Dangling it above his drooling maw, he licked his lips.
“My first victim… down the hatch!”
He shoved the gummy in his mouth and had to stop himself from chewing. Positioning it for swallowing, he let it slide down his throat with a hard gulp. Saihara traced a hand over his chest to feel it going down to his stomach, shivering slightly. What an amazing feeling… he couldn’t chew these ever again! He happily shoved more in his mouth and gulped them down, pretending they were meek little prey against his predatory might.
Saihara tossed the bag aside and rubbed his belly blissfully. One day, maybe he could have a person inside him. Despite his affinity for Danganronpa, he could never bring himself to kill someone. He was going to rely on Team Danganronpa’s directors to change that for him. No, he merely wanted someone in his belly for a while, just to feel what it’s like.
Surely a normal human like him couldn’t achieve that, right?
Only one way to find out.
Ouma looked on nervously as Saihara effortlessly swallowed half a sandwich whole. His previous victims included sushi, apple slices, candy, cookies, and brownies. It was almost inhuman how the taller boy could open his mouth to fit a seemingly endless array of food.
"Saihara, you're gonna make yourself sick."
Saihara simply chuckled. "I'll be fine, 'Kichi."
The smaller boy knew Saihara had a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Danganronpa, but he never would have imagined it would affect him this much. Despite how unnatural it was, Ouma couldn't help his morbid curiosity. He couldn't deny how interesting the latest execution was (no matter how much he tried to convince himself otherwise), and a small part of him absolutely loved watching Saihara scarf down food and seeing it travel down his throat.
Nope, he definitely didn't enjoy this.
Every so often, the taller boy would lift his food above him and slowly ease it into his mouth, as if to simulate eating a person. Ouma was immensely thankful the other patrons of the cafe were ignoring them. Maybe this sudden fascination would fade once the next Danganronpa episode came out; but with Saihara, anything was possible.
Saihara: hey could you come over today? i wanna try something.
Two weeks later, Ouma received a rather unceremonious text from Saihara one night.
Ouma: Sure. What is it you want to try?
Saihara: i don't think i can say over text
Ouma furrowed his brow, his mind racing to the absolute worst possible scenarios. Did something happen between him and his uncle again?
Ouma: ...why not?
Saihara: i just can't i'm sorry
Saihara: pls come over asap
Ouma: Alright.
It was unsettling how vague his friend was being, and that made him all the more worried. He hurriedly packed his things and ran to Saihara's house.
The two sat across from each other on the floor in Saihara’s room, neither saying a word. The taller boy had his eyes cast down, deep in thought with Ouma left to wonder just what the hell happened to him. The air was unnerving, and Ouma couldn’t take it anymore.
“Are you okay, Saihara?”
The boy in question took a second to look up at him, meeting his eyes with an emotionless face Ouma had not seen in him before.
“Do you remember the episode where the girl got eaten alive?”
Oh.
“I… I want to try it out. I’ve been practicing so I could make it happen.”
Oh.
Saihara couldn’t possibly think this would work, right? Humans aren’t capable of eating each other without… killing the other. Ouma shuddered.
“Saihara,” he spoke slowly. “Do you really think you can do this? I mean, Danganronpa is just fiction after all… and one of us wouldn’t s-survive,” his voice began to quiver.
The taller boy sat up slightly and looked at Ouma with soft eyes. “I won’t let that happen. I’ve been looking stuff up. I’ve been training myself. And… you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.”
Part of Ouma didn’t want to. That part was constantly pushing the fact that this could end up very bad. However, another part slowly began to rise up - the feeling of being the closest he can to the one he has a crush on. And of course, there was that naughty side of him thrilled at the idea.
“...I’ll do it.”
Saihara’s eyes lit up. “Really?!”
“I trust you. And, well, I’m kinda curious too.”
Hearing Ouma have mutual feelings to this weird activity made Saihara’s heart race. The smaller boy began to remove his clothing, too embarrassed to make eye contact with his crush. Saihara finally noticed how bony Ouma was. He’d make sure to get him a proper meal later. Ouma removed everything but his boxers, feeling somewhat self-conscious and looking away with a blush.
“Could you uh, close your eyes while I do this? I don’t think I could make eye contact with you.”
“S-Sure.”
Ouma complied and Saihara inched his way towards him, shaking slightly. Ouma trusted him. He wasn’t about to let that be for nothing. Raising himself above Ouma’s head, Saihara opened his maw until it became unhinged. He gently bit down on the smaller boy’s head of hair. The flavor was a sweet grape with a bit of lavender, which made Saihara drool slightly. He couldn’t help but smile in bliss as he took more of the boy in. He felt Ouma flinch a bit, so he brought his hands to Ouma’s arms and rubbed for reassurance. The smaller boy calmed down and Saihara reached his shoulders.
Perhaps it was Ouma’s smaller stature, but this was going a lot easier than Saihara had anticipated. He wanted to lick at him to get more of his sweet flavor, but he didn’t want to gross him out. He also wished he could ask how Ouma was holding up, but, well… he was a bit preoccupied. As Saihara reached the smaller boy’s torso, he realized the boy had entered his stomach. He was already feeling full, but there was no going back now. He took a hand off of Ouma to rub his belly, his hand gliding over the dent created in it. Reaching Ouma’s boxers wasn’t nearly as thrilling of a milestone, since his taste was interrupted by bland fabric.
He picked up the pace and shoved the covered part of Ouma’s body down his gullet. He mentally apologized for being so rough. Resuming the wonderful taste of Ouma, he slid down his spindly legs. All that remained was below the knees, and those were consumed just as quickly. Saihara could feel Ouma squirming a bit to get comfortable, and that’s when the true euphoria started.
It felt fucking amazing.
It was everything he hoped it would be. He leaned back and let an arm support him from behind, using the other to support the massive weight added to him. His stomach stretched past his knees with many bumps protruding from it. Red-faced, Saihara panted heavily with his tongue lavishly hanging out. God, this was so worth it. He rubbed around to feel for Ouma, who was surprisingly calm during the whole ordeal.
He opened his mouth to ask Ouma how he was doing, but a massive belch burst from his lips instead. The smaller boy, meanwhile, was fumbling around trying to make out his surroundings in the dark. His body was drenched in saliva; but strangely, no stomach acid was present. The world quaked around him as Saihara let out a loud burp, and Ouma found it hard to be grossed out given his current circumstances.
“Are you *urp* okay, ‘Kichi?”
Saihara’s hand found Ouma’s head between the fleshy wall separating them, and Ouma couldn’t help but lean into the touch. He never saw himself in the stomach of his crush, yet here he was.
“I’m okay. It feels… really nice,” he blushed, accentuated with a small rub to the stomach walls. He was amazed at how elastic Saihara’s stomach was, he hoped he wasn’t putting too much strain on it.
“Haah… I’m great, ‘Kichi! The best I’ve ever felt, actually! You tasted incredible,” he grinned, licking his lips.
Suddenly, the buttons on his dress shirt holding on for dear life relented and popped right off, exposing his large belly. That was… pretty hot, Saihara realized. Ouma started to rub more of the walls surrounding him, causing Saihara to moan rather loudly. He was a complete mess around his crush, but it was just too difficult to contain his bliss.
“Saihara, why aren’t there any stomach acids yet?”
The taller boy gave his belly a gentle pat. “I found recipes online for drinks that *hic* could subdue stomach acids for a bit. It looks *hic* like they worked pretty *hic* well, huh?”
Ouma smiled and let himself lean back into the warm stomach walls.
“You’ll let me out when I’m ready, right?” he asked tiredly.
“Of course,” Saihara whispered, rubbing Ouma’s head.
“Thank you, Saihara.”

Tumblr media
September turned over to October, bringing cold weather and days that slowly became shorter. You were done trying to stop your feelings for Joe, there was no stopping how you tirelessly obsessed over him. It made it worse that it almost, almost felt like he was reciprocating. But still, not quite.
Joe finally started lightening up on scheduling, giving everyone a few days off every now and then and not having extremely early call times. This meant you weren’t leaving the apartment at 6 in the morning and coming back at 8 anymore, leaving time for you to be around your roommates. Now, did you want that time? Not exactly.
Cameron had hardly spoken two words to you since everything that happened the previous month, leaving an awkward tension always hanging around the apartment. One morning, the sky completely gray, leaving the city shakingly cold, Cameron walked into the kitchen while you stood on the phone as you poured coffee.
You were talking to Julia, who had called you to ask if you had any time to do some of her busy work for her, which you weren’t necessarily sure if you did, but you agreed to anyway. The phone call ended with her making some Fleetwood Mac reference that you didn’t understand, but you laughed either way. You hung up and set your phone down as you slowly stirred your coffee, Cameron sitting on a stool on the other side of the counter.
“Was that the director?” She asked softly.
You looked up, slightly stunned. “Um, no. Producer.” You answered.
She furrowed her eyebrows. “What does he want?”
“She just has some things that she needs me to do today.” You said. It was weird that she all of the sudden was trying to talk to you.
“So you like working on the movie then?” She asked.
You blinked. Was she trying to actually talk to you? “Yeah, I love it. I think it’s great.”
She nodded. “You think the movie’s gonna be good?”
You could’ve smiled. This was the first conversation the two of you had in weeks. You had to admit, you missed your best friend. “Yeah, actually it looks really good. I’m excited for it.”
You pulled another mug from the cupboard and poured the rest of the coffee you had made into it, sliding it across the counter to her. She accepted it, picking it up to wrap her hands around it.
“I’m sorry that I got so mad.” She said, looking into her mug. It was a little late for an apology, but still, you accepted.
“It’s okay. You were upset.” You shrugged.
She nodded and took a long sip from her coffee, still never looking up to meet your eyes.
“So can we stop being weird now? I miss how things were.” You said, setting your own mug on the counter.
She laughed slightly. “Yes. I was hoping we could stop doing this.” She smiled.
You sighed in relief and finally, things were normal. How they were supposed to be. Things felt more in place than ever as you went to set that day. Today was supposedly going to be very easy, but you had a sneaking suspicion that you were going to be there rather late.
Just as you had suspected, before you knew it, the sky was turning dark. Joe finally called it a day at 8, much to everyone’s relief.
“Go get some sleep, kid.” He hit the back of your head with his clipboard playfully.
“First off, ow.” You laughed, holding your hand to the back of your head.
“Have a good night, Mr. Mazzello.” Beck spoke as he pulled his jacket on.
“You too, Mr. Beck.” He saluted him.
A loud sigh escaped your lips as you wistfully watched him walk away. Why did he have to be so nice to you?
Something you had noticed was how close this cast and crew was. You weren’t as involved in that closeness as you would have liked to be, but you figured it was because you were much younger than all of them, and you were just about at the bottom of the food chain in terms of power.
You saw a few cast members congregating near Joe, so you decided that you weren't going to interrupt to tell Joe goodbye, you figured you could just text him something about heading out instead.
A little ways away from you, Joe saw you waving bye to a few people and his heart sunk. Before thinking, he cut off one of the actors who was talking. “Hey, do you care if I invite Y/N?”
A few people turned around to look in your direction, luckily you had your back turned to them.
“The intern?” One of them asked.
Joe quickly realized how desperate he must have sounded asking like that. “Yeah,” He said, shrugging, “She’s nice, I think you guys would like her.”
He wasn’t lying about that. He knew everyone would like you, and you were nice. But he wanted to invite you because he desperately wanted to spend more time around you, specifically outside of work.
They all agreed, and the conversation moved forward about the bar that they were going to that night. Joe excused himself and jogged over to you, right as you were about to leave.
You saw him coming out of the corner of your eye and you turned in his direction, smiling. “Hey, I was just about to go.”
Disregarding what you said, he asked, “Me and a few people from the cast are going out for drinks, do you wanna come?”
“Tonight?” You responded, a bit taken back. You were a little too excited to be receiving this offer, but you tried your hardest to conceal the smile that was already on your face.
“Yeah.” He said, “I think we’re just gonna uber there in like 20 minutes.”
You weren’t used to receiving invitations like this, especially since you left college. “Oh.” You said, trying not to sound like a complete spaz.
“So if you wanna stick around, I can tell you when we’re leaving?” He said, his hands in his pockets as he rocked onto his toes.
“Yeah, sure.” You smiled, wringing your hands together.
He nodded and looked at the ground. He could hardly believe the way he was acting right now, it reminded him of high school. He was acting like a complete idiot, all because of you. All because of that stupid smile on your face.
“Oh,” he remembered, “and don’t tell Beck. He’s not invited.” He winked before walking away. He really shouldn’t be picking favorites like this, but how could he help it when one of you was a stuck up asshole and the other one was as sweet as you were?
Regardless, you were glad he liked you. It gave you some sort of validation for your feelings, even though deep down, you knew that your crush on him was hopeless.
When you showed up to the bar, it was freezing outside, yet incredibly warm inside. By the time you were shedding your jacket, which was only seconds after sitting down, Joe had ordered shots for everyone, saying that you had to take them in honor of the 12 hour day you had just worked. There were about 11 or 12 of you, spread out between a few booths. The bar wasn’t terribly busy, taken that it was a Wednesday night, but still, this was New York City, so places were always bustling. You were sat by Julia and a few of the other girls, subconsciously clinging to Julias presence like she was your mom. You got talking with a few of them, all of them remarkably talkative. The girl across from you, Charlotte, who was probably the closest to your age out of everyone, began talking to you about the internship.
After you explained the whole situation about how you got the internship, conveniently leaving out the part about Cameron, you were about to ask her about how she had got casted, but she spoke first. “You know, everyone loves you. No offense if he’s your friend, but I think I speak for everyone when I say we prefer you over Beck.”
“Oh, god, he’s not my friend.” You laughed. “He hates me.”
“Oh my god,” Her eyes lit up “He hates me too! I’m always like, dude, you need to calm the fuck down.” She said, picking up her drink to take a sip.
“Me too! He always says I’m unprofessional.” You frowned.
“I think he has some personal issues he needs to sort out.” She said.
“Mommy issues.” Julia piped up before finishing off her glass.
The three of you laughed, the attention shifting swiftly over to the girl sitting next to Charlotte, Lola, who was whispering something in her ear.
“Oh, god, Lola, don’t be gross.” She groaned.
Lola pulled away and grabbed her drink off the table then looked back at Charlotte. “Wish me luck.” She smiled.
You tilted your head slightly as she stood up from the table, walking slowly over to the bar. Wondering what she needed luck for, you tried not to stare as she approached the bar. You didn’t pay any mind to Joe, who was standing next to her, until she began to talk to him.
Your face flushed as you realized what she was doing. She was trying to flirt with Joe. It wasn’t until you looked back at the table until you realized that Charlotte and Julia were both looking at her, too.
Julia looked back and you exchanged a glance. “Is she...?”
“Trying to sleep with Joe? Yes.” Charlotte said, looking slightly disgusted.
You didn’t say anything as you looked into your drink, swirling the glass around as you contemplated your defeat. She was at least 7 or 8 years older than you, much closer to Joe’s age, an established actress, and much more in his league. All at once, you began to realize how stupid you were for ever thinking you and Joe had something between you.
“She could get into big trouble for that.” Julia chided. “It’s in the contract that all of you signed. No relationships.”
“Does fucking count as a relationship?” Charlotte set her chin in her palm.
Julia chuckled. “No, I guess not, if it’s not ongoing.”
“Ah, then she has a chance.” Charlotte said, all three of you turning your attention back to the two of them.
Over at the bar, Joe's mind was scrambling. He wasn’t stupid, he knew what Lola was doing. He’d seen it a million times. He wanted to be nice, but he wanted to cut this off before it went any further and he had to reject her. He had been waiting for the right moment to approach you without making it seem like he was hitting on you. He genuinely just wanted to talk to you.
But, as the minutes passed, Lola was not taking any hints. She continued to talk, continued to touch his arm playfully, even though Joe was reciprocating none of it.
Julia ended up leaving within the next 30 minutes, saying something about how her partying days were far behind her. You and Charlotte stayed at the table, ordering drink after drink, giggling as you talked about your past relationships, it almost made you forget about what was going on across the room.
“I have you beat on the worst breakup.” She laughed. “A guy once broke up with me after I flew across the country to see him. On my birthday.”
You gasped dramatically. “No.”
“Yes.” She laughed. “Arguably the worst day of my life.”
The two of you sat, giggly and tipsy, for a few quiet moments. “Why didn’t I know you were so fun?” She asked “I feel like we’ve hardly ever talked before and we’re around each other everyday.”
You sighed. “I don’t know. I just feel like a bit of an outsider because I’m so much younger than everyone.” You opened up. If you didn’t have any alcohol in your system, you would have never said this to her.
“Aw,” She frowned “Like I said, Y/N, we all love you. Everyone always mentions how sweet you are.”
“Really?” You smiled.
‘Yes, really. Especially Joe. He never shuts up about you.” She said.
You looked into her dark eyes and tilted your head. “What? Really?” Your heart could’ve jumped out of your chest.
“Yeah, he’s always like ‘Oh, I’m gonna wait up for Y/N. Have you seen Y/N yet today? Y/N this, Y/N that” She imitated him, her hands waving around as she did a horrible impression of his voice.
You laughed a little, your smile never faltered. Was she telling the truth? Did he talk about you so much that she had noticed it?
You finally remembered the whole Lola thing, your eyes glancing over the bar. Now they were sitting down, she was leaning over to him, talking, as he took a drink. You sighed and looked back at Charlotte, who was downing the rest of her third or fourth drink.
“I should probably go pull her off of him.” She sighed, her eyes following yours over to the bar. “She’s drunk as fuck, she needs to go home and maybe try again when she’s not wasted.”
She gave you a pat on the head, making you smile, as she stood up. “I’ll see you on Saturday.” She said, giving your head one last pat before walking over to the bar. You watched as she came up behind Lola, resting her hand on her back and giving her a soft smile as she spoke to her. It was obvious that Lola was resisting, but Charlotte was persistent, and she eventually hopped off of her chair and followed her. The two of them waved to you as they walked out of the bar, you gave them a quick grin and waved back. You almost sighed in relief. You had finally made some friends.
Joe was now sitting by himself at the bar, and you alone at the table. As long as you didn’t try anything like Lola did, you didn’t think it would be weird if you went and sat by him. Maybe that was the alcohol talking, but you still got up and walked over to him, pulling the stool out to sit down next to him.
When he had originally heard the stool next to him move, he thought it was just another girl trying to talk to him, and he almost let out an exasperated sigh. But it wasn’t just another girl. It was you. Instead, he sighed in relief.
“Hey, kid.” He said, taking a drink from his beer.
“Hi.” You said, scooting the chair in.
“You have fun?” He asked, setting his beer down to turn to you.
“Mhm.” You nodded. “Charlotte’s so nice.”
“Good.” He gave you a closed mouth smile. “I’m glad.”
You realized that you had left your drink back at the table when you all of the sudden had nothing to do with your hands. Joe must have noticed at the same time, because just as you were about to order something, he beat you to it.
“Can we get two shots of fireball?” He asked.
“Oh god.” You set your face in your palm.
“Don’t worry, you don’t have to drink it.” He said.
“What, you’re going to take both to try and impress me?” You giggled, setting your forearms on the counter.
He shook his head with a small laugh as the bartender handed them over. He set one in front of you and one in front of him.
“Okay.” He started. “Truth or drink.”
“Oh,” You smiled “I can do that.”
“Ladies first.” He smirked, crossing his arms as he looked at you. It almost felt like he was taunting you, his arms almost making you drool as they stretched out his shirt.
You smirked back. Only thinking for a quick moment, you knew what you wanted to ask. “When’s the last time you slept with someone?” You asked, a cocky look on your face. Even if you were crossing a line by asking that, you could hardly care. It felt hotter than it did when you had first gotten there, but that could be coming from the warm feeling in your cheeks from the alcohol. Or because you were blushing. He wasn’t going to answer something like that to you.
He tilted his head slightly, looking at the shot. “Last month?” He estimated. You were a little bit shocked that he answered, and that he didn’t hesitate to do so.
Your eyebrows must have been raised or your eyes must have been wide, because he asked, “What? Did you think I was gonna say 3 years ago?”
“What? No,” You laughed “I just… who?” You asked, almost out of instinct. Almost out of jealousy.
“Nope. Not your turn.” He shook his head. He leaned closer to you, prompting you to lean closer to him. “If you had to have sex with one guy in this bar, right now, who would it be?” He said, his voice low, even though no one around would be able to hear anyways over the buzz of the crowd.
You hummed in thought, turning away from him to look around you. “I think…” You started, turning back to lean forward into him “the bartender down at the other end is cute enough?” You lied.
Joe’s jaw clenched. He didn’t know what he expected, but he couldn’t help but be disappointed. Before he could respond, you cleared your throat, unbeknownst to him that you had noticed his reaction.
“My turn.” You smiled. You went back and forth for a little while longer, desperately trying to ask a question to get the other person to drink, but nothing worked. The bar was loud, there were lots of people around, but still, you could only see each other. You could only feel the way his shoulder was rubbing against yours, you could only smell the whiskey on his breath and you could only think about how much you wanted him right now.
A few rounds later, it was Joe’s turn. He could feel the heat radiating from your face, and he thought your top was ridiculously low cut. Especially when you leaned over the bar. The way your knee would bump his was driving him crazy. It prompted him to come up with this question.
“What’s the oldest you’d be willing to sleep with?” He said, his expression straight and serious.
You reached to rub the back of your neck under your hair as you thought. Your heart began to quicken as you thought of all of the possible responses, until you finally settled on what happened to be one of the most risky answers. “Well,” You began, subconsciously leaning in so you were closer to his face, “How old are you?”
His jaw clenched again, but this time, not out of anger or jealousy. Out of lust and pent up desire.  “Oh,” He said, his hand which was already brushing your knee moved from his leg to ghost over the top of yours. “Is that how it is?” His hand came to rest on your thigh, and he slid it so it was just slightly underneath your skirt on the inside of your thigh.
“Joe,” You breathed, closing your eyes as you clenched your thighs, trapping his fingertips.
“Yes?” He spoke softly into your ear, his voice low and sharp.
“Please.” You pouted, still not opening your eyes. His hand was warm on your inner thigh, but not as hot as the heat radiating from under your panties, which you thought Joe could for sure feel.
Just like that, he ripped his hand away from you, earning a whine from your lips as you leaned your head back. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet, your eyes watched his hands intently. He pulled out a 50 and tossed it onto the bar, then stood up. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you off your chair. “Let’s go.” He grumbled, lightening his grip on your wrist to let his hand slide into yours. He practically pulled you out of the bar, and even though it was a cool fall night outside, you were still burning up.
He hailed a cab quickly as your head spun by how quickly things had turned. Even though both of you were as horny as you had ever been before, he still opened the taxi door for you. You climbed in, settling in the seat on the opposite side of the door before Joe climbed in, telling the driver his address quickly before moving to the middle seat to immediately grab your inner thigh roughly. Your hand wrapped around his bicep, you squeezed his arm to try and distract yourself from the wetness pooling in your underwear. His grip was deathly and his breathing was harsh as the two of you sat in heated silence. You had to physically try to stop yourself from making any further moves on him, opting to rest your forehead on his shoulder. In a moment of sweetness rather than lust, Joe kissed the top of your head lighty. Although the moment did make your heart melt, you still couldn’t focus on anything other than how badly you needed him.
“How far are we from your apartment?” You lifted your head up to whisper.
“Like 2 minutes.” He said. You let out a low, short groan.
“I know, baby.” He whispered.
You had decided that this had been the longest two minutes of your life. Between the way Joe’s legs kept twitching, to how his hand was slowly moving up your thigh, riding your skirt up, you were almost on the verge of tears by the time you pulled up to Joe’s apartment. He handed the driver some money, mumbling something about keeping the change as the two of you climbed out.
He grabbed your hand and you both tried not to sprint into the apartment building. The elevator ride was almost as excruciating as the taxi. You couldn’t keep your hands off of each other, his hand moving from the small of your back to squeeze your ass, earning a sharp breath in from you.
He fumbled with the key as he tried to unlock his door as quickly as possible. As if you could get anymore impatient, you were 2 seconds away from ripping the key out of his hands and doing it yourself when he finally opened the door, grabbing you by the fabric of your shirt and pulling you inside. It was pitch black, the only light coming from the city lights outside the windows. Using the grip he had on your shirt to turn you towards him, he pulled you into him. He kissed you messily, slowly backing you up until your back hit the door. It was a mess of clashing teeth and tongue as you desperately kissed each other, all of the pent up desire coming out all at once. You wrapped your arms around his neck as you stood on your toes to kiss him, his hands moving from your hips to your ass. He slid one of his hands down to the underside of your thigh, lifting your leg up so your knee was at his side. He growled into your mouth and you could only manage a whimper, your mind scrambling for a single coherent thought. He lifted his leg slightly to rub against your core, his jeans creating a rough texture. Instinctually, you grinded against his thigh, but your movements were limited as he had you pinned against the door.
He broke away, moving his lips to bite your earlobe. You let out an exhausted moan, dipping your head back to hit the wooden door behind you. He lifted his leg higher at this, almost lifting you off your feet by your core.
“Joe” You sobbed, your fingers pulling at his hair. You felt him smile against your neck.
He moved his head back up to kiss you again, this time his hands on both sides of your face. This kiss was slower, but just as passionate. He pulled you to the bedroom, not bothering to turn on any lights on his way there, opting to find his way in the dark. You already noticed that he had a habit of pulling you by the fabric of your shirt. Something you could definitely get used to.
Once you did make it to the bedroom, he wasted no time pushing you backwards onto the bed. Your back bounced against the mattress and you sat up on your elbows as he crawled on top of you, meeting your lips again. He grabbed both of your hands and held them for a second, then slowly moved them so they were pinned above your head. His grip wasn’t tight, but it was enough to keep you in place.
He pulled away to hover inches above your face, both of you panting. “I’m gonna ask you this, and I’m only going to ask you this once.” He said darkly, his voice overcome by lust.
You nodded eagerly, yet still staying silent.
“Do you want me to fuck you?” He asked deeply.
You nearly moaned at the tone of his voice.
“Need to hear you say it, baby.” He growled.
“Yes” You cried, begging him to do something.
That must have been a tipping point for him, because he let go of your wrists and tugged at the hem of your skirt, pulling it along with your underwear down and off of your legs. He tossed them to the ground and grabbed you by both of your thighs, lowering himself so his head was in between them.
He groaned as he looked at you, his grip slightly lightening as he admired how wet you already were. He placed a kiss to your lower thigh, looking back up at you. You were splayed out on his bed, your hair hanging in your face, your chest heaving. A sight he could get used to.
From there, he wasted no time diving in between your legs, licking your clit as he wrapped his arms tightly around your thighs, moving your legs so they were over his shoulders.
Your head was spinning as you slammed it back against a pillow on the unmade bed. You were hardly processing what was going on, your vision was blurry and your thoughts all bled together, the only thing you could feel was Joe.
You writhed underneath his touch, bucking your hips. His large hands laid over your stomach, holding you down. “Sit still.” He mumbled against you, the rumble of his voice pulsing through your entire body. You tried to still your hips, unable to stop them from twitching from pleasure.
His fingertips dug into your thighs as he began holding you tighter and tighter. He only ever touched your clit, only using his tongue, but it was more than enough for you. One of your hands was tangled in his hair, and the other was holding onto the pillow under your head. In the distance, but still at an embarrassingly fast rate, you could feel your orgasm coming on.
He must have sensed that you were close, or took a hint from the way you swirled your hips and pulled at his hair, because he smirked against you, then immediately pulled his head away.
“Joe” You whined, your grip on his hair loosening quickly.
He shook his head lightly, climbing back on top of you. He put his hands on either side of your head, and admired you under him for a second, even though you looked slightly disappointed. He leaned down to kiss you slowly, taking the feeling in.
As much as he would love to bask in that feeling and kiss you for the rest of eternity, he didn’t know how much longer he could take not fucking you. He pulled your shirt over your head without warning, leaving you in nothing but your bra.
Deciding that the ratio of clothes-taken-off was uneven, you reached for his belt buckle, grabbing him by the back of the neck with your other hand to pull him back down to kiss you. You fumbled with his belt buckle, trying to figure it out how to get it undone with your eyes closed.
Joe sighed into your mouth, pushing your hands away from his belt to do it himself. You giggled slightly, causing him to try and suppress a grin as you kissed. He took his belt off and you heard it hit the hardwood floor, followed by the sound of his pants unzipping. The thought of what you were about to get nearly made your eyes roll back in your head, the wetness spread across your inner thighs only growing.
You pulled the hem of his shirt up, breaking away from the kiss for only a second to allow him to pull it over his head, disregarding it with the rest of your clothes on the floor. Your fingers danced along the waist of his pants for a moment, then you slipped your hand inside. Joe was an extremely smooth kisser, but his rhythm was interrupted when you cupped him over his underwear, making him stifle his movements. You smirked and held him slightly tighter, making his arms nearly buckle as he groaned into you.
He let your little power trip last for a few more seconds before he grabbed your wrist and pulled your hand away from him. He grabbed your other wrist with the same hand and then held your hands over your head. He let go, but you held your hands where they were as he pulled his pants and boxers off.
Normally, in a situation like this, one you had been in times and times before, you would feel vulnerable. Laying naked on someone else’s bed while they undress, completely and utterly at their demand. But, for some reason, you felt safe and taken care of. You felt so secure in his touches as he set his hand on your thigh, moving himself to settle in between your legs.
He looked at you, your hands above your head as you looked back at him expectantly. He couldn’t help but pump himself a few times before finally lining himself up to your entrance. He reached up and set a hand by your head, the other holding his shaft. He stalled for a moment, taking time to look down at your pussy, sliding his tip up and down your slit.
You lifted your hips expecting him to push himself inside of you. “Please.” You whispered.
He looked back up at you, then leaned over you further, so his face was inches from yours. “Please what, baby?”
You reached up to set a hand on his broad shoulder which was flexed from holding himself up. “Please fuck me.” You begged.
He chuckled lightly. “Aw, sweetheart, all you had to do was ask.” He smiled. He pushed himself into you, and months of tension suddenly came undone.
He bottomed out, and your grip on his shoulder moved down to dig your nails into his shoulder blade. You shut your eyes and pushed your head further back into his pillow. “Oh my fucking god.” You staggered.
Joe couldn’t find it in himself to move right away, basking in the feeling of filling you up. He had thought about this exact moment too many times to take it for granted.
You took the liberty to move your own hips in a circle, causing him to grunt into your ear. He pulled out nearly all the way, then moved back in slowly.
As much as he wanted to take his time with you, the girl he had been obsessed with for the last 3 months finally underneath him, he began to feel himself losing control. His pace quickened at an insane rate, making you want to cover your mouth to try and stifle the ungodly moans coming out of you.
He lowered his head into your neck as he moved his hips against yours, making you lean your head back to expose your whole neck to him.
You felt him bite you softly, making you yelp in surprise. Heart fluttering, your cheeks flushed as he kissed your neck harshly. He began to slam into you harder, moving your whole body with every thrust. Red marks began to form on his back where you had dug all of your nails into his lower back.
His pace only got rougher and rougher as time went on, only making things more and more passionate.
“Joe, oh my god, please don’t stop, please please please please.” You rambled out of bliss. The feeling of build-up from earlier made a return as he lifted himself up, his hands on either side of your head.
He grabbed your thigh and held it up close to his hip, trying to find a better angle for you, he could tell you were close. He realized he had gotten that angle when you yelled out his name, arching your back into him, your voice broken and raspy.
“You close baby?” He asked his tone unrecognizable from the one you normally knew.
“Yes” You cried, grabbing into his hair unintentionally.
He lifted your leg over his shoulder with a grunt, hitting an unimaginable spot. He grabbed your throat to force you to look at him and leaned over you, his nose nearly touching yours. “Come on, give it to me, Y/N.” He growled.
Your vision went white as your orgasm hit you. Your jaw dropped open as he watched you come undone around him. Your whole body pulsed as you gasped for air. He let you come down from your high, riding it out roughly until your eyes fluttered open again.
All at once, he pulled out of you and grabbed your ankle, yanking your leg off of his shoulder. He grabbed your hips and flipped you over onto your knees, then grabbed you by a fistful of your hair and pushed your head down into the mattress. He began slamming into you again, the aftershock of your orgasm not even close to being over yet. You couldn’t do anything but let the tears welling in your eyes spillover as you cried his name over and over.
He pounded into you, his teeth gritted as he pushed your head further down into the bed. He knew he wasn’t going to last much longer, especially not with you like this. He yanked your hair up and pulled you close to him so he could talk into your ear.
“Do you know,” He spat with gritted teeth “how long I’ve waited to fuck you like this?” He wrapped an arm around your body to rub circles on your clit, his other hand moving you grab you by the throat again. “Having to see you, every. Fucking. Day. And not being able to have you? I thought I was crazy, Y/N, crazy for wanting to do the things I wanted to do to you. Things like this. But now I can see,” He began losing control of his body, his rhythm slowing as he could feel himself about to come “the feeling was mutual.”
He came inside of you as your second orgasm hit you out of nowhere, causing you to topple over as his movements slowed, your cum mixing with his. You moaned breathing in and out as he slowly came to a stop. “I’ve got you, baby, I’ve got you.” He sighed.
“Fuck.” He breathed. You sniffed and let out one last sob before he pulled out, causing you to wince. The rest of your body collapsed onto the bed as you panted, trying to catch your breath. He fell onto the bed next to you, the only movement you were able to manage was moving your hands up to wipe the tears off of your face.
Joe reached over and held you by the hip, pulling you to face him. He wrapped an arm around you to splay a hand in between your shoulder blades and moved the other to cup your cheek. His eyes moved from your eyes to your cheek. He stroked his thumb across your face to wipe the tears from your cheeks, your eyes fluttered shut under his touch. “Are you okay?” He spoke softly.
“Mhm.” You hummed lightly. You pressed a hand against his chest and moved to set your forehead on his shoulder. He rolled onto his back and you laid your head against his chest as he wrapped his arms completely around you.
Neither of you said anything, the room silent as your breathing slowly synced together. Joe couldn’t wipe his stupid, blissful smile off of his face as he rubbed your back lightly.
You couldn’t think about anything other than his heartbeat under your ear. Not the contract you signed, not Lola or Beck, not how much money you had and not how Joe was your boss. You only thought about the heartbeat you heard and the boy who owned it.

Me: *starts looking for good prompts stuff*
Me: *sees freestyle/continuation and drops everything*
You know what I want 😭 pls more In the Shallows verse pls 😭🥺 wedding, kids, anything, just pls 🥺🥺
You know, somehow I guess that ;) Hope you enjoy this little postscript, then.
This is the main fic we’re talking about, and this the sequel. All you need to know is that Dick is an actor and Jason a rock star, though.
The first time Dick heard of Lorena Herrera Lozano was when he found Jason yelling at her agent.
Okay. That wasn’t entirely true—her name was on billboards all over town, what with her being an Oscar-nominated child actor and all that. They probably saw each other at some award show or other. Dick knew about many people in the industry in that way, though; it didn’t mean anything.
So yeah, walking off his set to find his husband yelling at a movie executive at the adjacent lot was a bit unexpected.
“She’s your charge.” Jason was fuming.
The man—Peter Kravinsky, now that Dick thought about it; he’d seen him while working with child actors before—looked distinctly uncomfortable. “If we keep going just another half hour, it makes all the difference for the budget—“
And that was why it was a bad idea to have set guardians be paid by the same studio who had a vested interest in saving as much cost as possible. Dick thought Jason was about to explode. “The budget? Lorena is six! Nothing about this is legal!”
“Listen, I don’t need to take this from some—“
Dick cleared his throat and stepped next to Jason. Kravinsky’s eyes just about popped out of his skull. Apparently, he had no idea who the man yelling at him was—the movie community could be very isolated—, but he definitely knew Dick Grayson.
Well, that was his problem. Dick smiled, sharp and thin. “Kravinsky, isn’t it? Nice to meet you. Please don’t let me keep you—I expect you’ll want to talk to the director as soon as possible.”
So that was the beginning.
It probably shouldn’t have surprised Dick to come home and find Lorena there, but somehow it did.
He gave her a wave and a cheery greeting, and then he pulled Jason aside and hissed: “Jason, please tell me you haven’t kidnapped her.”
Jason laughed at him. “Her mother wasn’t able to come to pick her up on time, so I offered to have her stay the afternoon.” He paused. “Well. After I reminded the director about child protection and labor laws.”
Dick knew he would never have a chance to work with that particular director again. Given what he was hearing, he didn’t particularly mind. Still, he teased: “Aww, you’re a mother hen.”
“She’s a child.”
“I was a child actor, and I was—“ fine, he wanted to say, but something in Jason’s eyes stopped him.
“No, you weren’t,” his husband said gently. “You just loved it enough that it was worth it. And you had Bruce, who was rich way before he adopted you.” He looked away. “I know—I know how my mom got when I became famous. If I hadn’t been an adult—if she’d been able to control how I made my money and where it went…”
Dick winced. “You’re right. So what do you want to do? Adopt her?”
“I wouldn’t take her from her family!” Jason protested, and Dick nodded. He’d figured.
“Okay, so…”
“So I thought we could just… look out for her. Like. Uncles or something.”
Yeah. Okay. They could do that. Dick liked being an uncle; he always had. When Lorena greeted him with a bright smile and invited him to play pony stables with her, he knew he was already in too deep, anyway.
So they were totally not her uncles.
Afternoon pick-ups turned into nights spent at their house because it was closer to set. Jason spoke Spanish with Lori. Dick loved listening to them, and they soon started teaching him. They all cooked together.
When Lori complained about her school work, Dick was there to commiserate and Jason to lecture, but help. When one of them was tired after a long day, she doled out hugs. Naptime now consisted of Lori resting her head on Dick’s belly, both of them drifting off to the sound of Jason’s guitar.
Even when he moved on to another location, Dick kept stopping by Lori’s set during the day, just to check in and watch her work, give her some pointers, maybe. Her talent was equal amounts impressive and terrifying.
(“I’ve seen videos of you as a kid,” Jason told him. “The apple does not fall far from the tree.”)
Which was how he found out that no-one had seen Lori’s mom in days.
Lori, however, didn’t say anything. As always, she smiled at Dick, telling him that she learned how to do a handstand today, and his heart hurt.
Back on set, Dick called his brother Tim. And then he asked Jason to stop by his trailer.
Dick told him everything he found out (about the drugs, the history of disappearing, of an empty home and self-sufficient little girls), and then he took a deep breath. “We have power here.” Jason knew the foster system as well as Dick, maybe even better. Dick wanted to remind him that this time, they weren’t helpless. “I talked to Tim, and he gave me the number of his attorneys and a private detective. I just… I just wanna check in with you before I make any move.”
“We could… take her in?” Jason asked.
He nodded. “If you want.”
Jason chewed his lips. “A guardianship,” he said. “Lori needs to know that she can stay even if her mom returns if she wants to…”
“But we won’t shut out her mom or take Lori from her.” Dick pressed a kiss to his cheek. “I love you, you know?”
Jason kissed him, the best kind of reply. When he pulled away, he whispered against Dick’s mouth: “We really doing this?”
“Jason,” Dick said, and he knew his voice contained all the fondness in the world, “it’s inevitable, really.”
(I’m taking prompts until the end of the year.)

Think About It (One Shot)
Tumblr media
Request
fem!Reader and Lena where R is Winn’s older sister and like him, is very intelligent. Yet, unlike him, is more confident and a whole badass person 🤩 lena and r bump into each other when they’re both at the DEO. R and Winn are enthusiastically chatting about some nErDy stuff and while Lena is talking to Supergirl, she catches R in the corner of her eye and is absolutely mesmerized
A/N: I guys, so we are back!! I’m sorry it’s taking a shot ton of time from me to write but i’m trying to get my shit together over here so that’s a work in progress but remember it is my mission to finish your request so pls don’t worry! Now, kudos to the dear anon that sent this one, i hope you like it! love ya guys :)
Lena Luthor x Schott Fem!R//Word Count: 2,008
-------------------------------------------------------
The DEO had been relatively quiet during the whole day as there seemed to be nothing that could disrupt the calm that surrounded the whole place. There had been no threats of any kind. All hostile aliens were already on their cells, and the agents had been going about their day without interruption. Nothing out of the ordinary seemed to happen, and it almost felt like a well deserved day of rest considering the last threat they had to face. Reign and the Worldkillers had given the world a show to remember and everyone was still trying to go back to some sort of normalicy.
J'onn and Alex had been in the main office, discussing what she needed to know as the soon to be new director of the DEO. Part of the Legion of Superheros was still around, taking care of the last details before returning to their own time. Supergirl was close to the labs, thanking Lena for basically saving everyone's lives with the Harun-El.
It could have been one of the quietest days at the DEO had it not been for the sudden bickering that filled the lobby.
"It is not." Winn's voice echoed through the walls.
"It is." Your voice came almost instantly.
"It's not!" "It is!"
It kept going and going until the voices reached the center of the lobby and everyone turned their heads to see who was causing such a fuss.
"(Y/N), come on! Those are high tech machines, what's not to love about them." It was Winn who kept going about it.
"Look, I totally get it." You said as you walked through the lobby. "You wanna have your fun punching giant monsters in your giant robot? That's great! But they are unpractical."
"They are not. You're creating a line of defense against big alien creatures, fighting fire with fire."
"The thing is they are purely mechanical bodies fighting sentient creatures that obviously have a huge mobility advantage. Why don't you use biological weapons instead and end the job faster?"
"You serious?" Winn stopped in the middle of the lobby. "Bio weapons is the last thing you want to use. Do you wanna endanger the whole population?"
"Alright, alright. I'll give you that." You stopped too and turned to look at your brother. "But it is still unpractical a waste of resources because you cannot fight, guess what?"
"What?" Winn crossed his arms.
You gave him a cheeky smile, like you always did when you were sure you were about to end an argument. "Physics."
Even though you were sure that would end the discussion, it only helped to increase the debate between you two.
Lena, who had walked outside the labs along with Supergirl to find out what was happening, became pretty interested in the discussion you were having. First, because she had never seen Winn fight with anyone like that and second, because she had never seen you before, and once her eyes were on you it was almost impossible to take them off.
"What are they talking about?" She asked Supergirl, imagining her super hearing could help her have a better grasp at the debate.
"Uh, something about giant robots?" Supergirl shrugged and smiled fondly at the scene. She had seen this kind of fight between the Schott siblings, and she knew this was the way you usually showed your affection to each other. "You never really know with those two."
"Who's that?" Lena asked.
"That's (Y/N), Winn's older sister."
"I didn't know Winn had a sister."
"Well, there she is." Supergirl smiled, noticing the way Lena looked at you. "She's great, I hope you get to meet her tonight."
"Tonight?" She raised her eyebrows.
"The Legion of Superheroes is leaving, and Winn along with them. We organized a little farewell party, so she came." Kara turned to see you and your brother still arguing. "You're staying for the party, right?"
"I don't know." Lena shrugged. "There's a lot I still have to do at L-Corp."
"Come on, Miss Luthor. I think you could use a little distraction too after all that has happened."
"I'll think about it." She said as she watched you two.
She could hear a bit more of what you were talking about. It was a really heated argument indeed about giant robots and the impossibility of creating such machines with the current technologies available. She could see, after a minute observing you, that this conversation was now just an excuse for you to annoy your brother. Every time Winn tried to make a valid point to his arguments you came with another equally valid. The fight couldn't seen to find an end, until J'onn came out of his office to talk you down.
"Agent Schott?" He stood in front of you both and Lena watched as you stood watching your brother trip over his words.
"Sir-I m-mean- J'onn!" He said.
"Is everything alright?" J'onn asked with a very paternal frown.
"I'm sorry, yes." You steeped out saving your brother the embarrassment Lena could see on your brother's red face. "My brother and I were just having a little discussion over practical armament. Also, I'm (Y/N) Schott, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, sir."
Lena watched as you smiled at him confidently, as if you were meeting an old friend instead of your brother's boss, and without noticing she smiled too. Then she saw J'onn take you and your brother to his office and with that you disappeared for a while. Lena imagined they had invited you to the party and the idea of staying a little longer didn't seem too bad.
Meanwhile, once J'onn got you in his office, he spoke with you and your brother about the current DEO situation. You had had an idea of what this visit was all about the moment Winn had invited you to come with him and, as J'onn kept talking, you finally got the whole reason why you were there. To join the DEO.
"Would you consider it at least?" J'onn asked after he stated the final proposition.
"Yes, she will." Winn looked at you with a raised eyebrow. "Right?"
"I'll think about it, sir." It was the only thing you said before leaving J'onn's office.
Once you were out you could sense your brother about to have some words with you, not believing you hadn't say yes right away to the possibility of working for the DEO, when J'onn opened his door again and called your brother for a private conversation and saved you the annoyance.
"We'll talk later." He said to you with a frown before leaving you.
You waved at him with a cheeky smile before he closed the door and you were then alone in the middle of the hallway not really knowing where to go or what to do. You decided to walk back to the lobby, thinking about the position J'onn had offered to you and how it hadn't been much of a surprise.
When Winn had called a few days ago, you could hear in his voice the sort of seriousness and solemnity that was reserved for the great moments and great tragedies. Like when your he had told you your father had escaped from prison or like when he told you he was joining a secret agency. So when he told you he was joining a team of superheroes from the future, you started to think about what it meant for you.
You didn't want to take his place as you knew it could be impossible to replace him but you also knew it was probably the only place were you would be able to check on him constantly and without further trouble. But Winn, being the brother he was, wasn't going to leave you all by yourself. He had probably been the one to suggest you took his place in the agency, first, to have someone as capable as him to assist his friends, second, to finally have all of his family in one place and, third, so you could have someone to rely on once he was gone. It was both a sweet and sad gesture and it made you realize how much you were going to miss him.
Thankfully, your mind found a little distraction while looking for the nearest exit.
The laboratories seemed to be abandoned as everyone else was preparing for the party and you glanced at something quite interesting inside of one of the rooms. You took a look at the hallway and considering you were alone you thought it wouldn't harm to peek a little. Inside, the room was illuminated by the artificial light and in the middle of it there was a work table with some kind of rock on display. At first, it didn't seem like much until you looked at the screens showing its molecular composition. You took the safety glasses that laid around and took a closer look at it.
"It isn't very polite to trespass inside someone else's lab." You barely flinched at the voice behind you and kept looking at the rock.
"Sorry, didn't mean to sneak upon your work but it looked pretty interesting." You took a step back from the table, took the glasses off and turned to see the person behind you.
"That's Harun-el. Krytonian mineral." The rock was instantly forgotten as she walked towards you with crossed arms and a little smile, and you were caught by her green eyes.
"Oh, wow, no wonder why Winn likes it in here." You said looking at her and then cleared your throat. "Uh, what does it do? Found anything about it yet?"
"Considering this is a highly secret agency and this a highly secret investigation, I can't say much, unfortunately." She pretended she didn't hear your first comment.
"Right, right, sorry again." You put the glasses back in the table. "Also, I don't think we have been introduced. I'm (Y/N) Schott."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Lena Luthor." She uncrossed her arms to shake the hand you were offering.
"Are you serious?" You replied with raised eyebrows. "I'm a, uh, big fan, by the way."
"Thank you, (Y/N)." You saw her smile and were grateful she kept talking to you. Lena herself felt her cheeks turn a bit red at your compliment. It was hard to imagine how someone like you could like her.
"So, you are here often? I mean, you work for the DEO?" You asked.
"Yes and no. I assist the DEO in some cases. I do not work for them." She turned to look at the Harun-el. "What about you? You came to work for the agency?"
"No, I guess I just come to say goodbye to my brother. But I haven't decided yet."
"Oh, that's sad." She said looking at you with curiosity. "I might have been open to share some details of my investigation, seeing as you're interested in it."
"If you put it that way, I might also have a very compelling reason to accept the job offer but...I would be more interested in sharing a drink with you, Miss Luthor." You thought for a moment about your words and finished with a little smile. "If you were interested, of course."
"Well, first you have to accept the job, right?" You watched as she walked outside the lab. "And I hope this isn't the last time we talk."
You followed a step behind. "Aren't you staying for the party, Miss Luthor?"
"Maybe not for this one." She stopped for a second to consider it. "But if you have a welcome party, I'll think about it." She turned to smile at you and turned around keeping her pace.
As you watched her go, you decided working for the DEO wasn't such a bad idea. You could check on your brother from time to time, and the job offer wasn't so bad. And of you had the change to work with Lena Luthor, what else could you ask for?

she smiled at him from across the office of the director. ah, good competition. how rare, really, that renjun met someone who excelled in this line of work as much as him. the education industry wasn’t easy, not when he was in charge of planning the school curriculum for exceptionally gifted, exceptionally easily-bored students of the Gifted Education Programme. poised to lead, that’s what renjun was. he was top in his department in every aspect possible, the section leader- oh, and the favourite employee of Director kim, head of the GEP department.
the girl opposite him adjusted her business suit, rising to her feet gracefully for her presentation. that was the curriculum planner for the GEP graduating class, another talented coworker of renjun’s. he felt an almost-fond smile quirk his lips up at the corners as he listened to her plans of starting on the topic of heredity for the twelve-year-olds. it wasn’t the first time renjun had met her in the director’s office, and it wouldn’t be the last. as curriculum planners, they regularly had to enter Director kim’s office for their plans to be approved, along the way becoming close enough to exchange small smiles and waves of greeting in passing.
renjun leaned back in his chair, letting her voice wash over him.

two. 崔九堂前几度闻
renjun wasn’t a main (or rather, at all) part of the gossip mill, but some things were glaringly obvious, staring him in the face like an annoying mosquito refusing to leave him alone. time and time again, he’d heard she was scheduled for a promotion. whispers of her talent and promise were passed around the office as they worked.
his coworker-friends seemed to consider her his mortal enemy, telling him every bit of information about her that they knew. when donghyuck sidled up to him for the fifth time in that hour, undoubtedly to tell him some new nugget of information, renjun only brushed his worries of the girl standing in the way of his potential promotion away. he knew that if she was chosen over him for the position, she really deserved it anyway. it wasn’t even like renjun hated her or anything ; friendly competition was always welcome. so when renjun was given the promotion instead of her, only half the office was surprised. he didn’t think she was too upset about not rising in rank, though. she still smiled at him really happily and congratulated him on his success. sincere happiness was a good look on her, renjun thought. it made her eyes light up and her cheeks flushed. maybe it was just a welcome change from seeing her uptight expressions in the director’s office.

three. 正是江南好风景
renjun opened his eyes lazily as the warm glow of sunlight filtered into his hotel room through the gaps in the window blinds. smiling to himself, he sat up in his hotel bed and sighed in content. a long-deserved break, this trip was. renjun was planning to drive to his family home on the outskirts of jiang’nan today while giving himself time to enjoy the much-missed scenery of his hometown in autumn. it was always good to be home, renjun thought to himself, donning a shirt and jacket in preparation for his drive.it was rare that renjun had spare time to return to his childhood home, but this week was a department-wide vacation week, and with the trees at jiang’nan coloured in the most ethereal hues of red and orange he’s ever seen, there was no way renjun’d pass up the opportunity to return home. the weather was perfect, too, comfortably cool with a slight breeze. closing his eyes, renjun eased himself into the seat of his mercedes.

four. 落花时节又逢君
renjun strolled around amongst the grove of trees, relishing the company of nature. in the distance, there was a short, lithe figure of a girl who even at a distance, seemed slightly lost. deciding to be a good samaritan at least once in his life, he briskly approached her and spoke in his native tongue, “hi, miss, you look lost. could i help you?” she turned to him with a hat covering half her face, speaking meekly with the slight infliction of someone whose mothertongue was mandarin, but had been raised in somewhere other than mainland china, “oh yes, please, can you help me with the directions to this restaurant? i think it’s in traditional chinese and i can’t read it well, my chinese isn’t the best- renjun?” fairly belatedly, renjun scanned her face (or the parts of her face that weren’t covered by that huge hat) and realised- it was her. his colleague in the department they were both taking a break from. switching back to english, renjun took her GPS and phone from her, promising to find her the restaurant she was having dinner at. he may have forgotten that his direction sense was the worst he knew. it was after half an hour of aimless wandering around the grove when she mentioned having seen the same tree at least thrice that led to renjun admitting sheepishly that they may just be lost. “i mean, you can always come with me to my parents’ restaurant for dinner? that’s the one place i actually know how to get to.”on the journey to his car, it hit renjun that this rock was, despite its cliche nature, dare he say it? almost… romantic, in a sense, what with the falling flowers spiralling around them and the solitude of the place. lost in his thoughts, he jerked back to the present with a shock as she reached a hand out to take his, excitedly dragging them toward his car. it wasn’t like he had any energy left to complain about it. not when his heart was competing with light for the title of object that can move at the highest speed.

CW: giant spider, dehumanization of a fictional minority, degrading language, bullying/ discrimination based on one's appearance,  mutilation of a pet spider (very briefly),
Heat thrummed through Gideon’s bones, pulsing hotter than the torrid sun, and throbbed in unison with his building headache. His patience had shriveled up like dried fruit as the horrible lavender scent clung to his hair, skin, and clothes, making him dizzy.
It became stronger on the village outskirts, he realized as he hurried after his director. The man ascended the crooked stone staircase effortlessly, his moss-green robe billowing behind him and spear swinging in its quiver. He did not slip even once on the tiny steps that wound through the thick underbrush to who-the-hell-knew-where. All while he rambled on about how disciplinary work encouraged the growth of one’s character.
A twig got caught in Gideon’s black bushy hair, pulling painfully on his roots as it broke off with a snap. It was going to be a freaking nightmare to fiddle all those shitty branches and leaves out of his hair later.
He was seconds away from losing his barely-held composure. The only thing stopping him from yelling at his teacher’s back, was that he really, really could not risk to get kicked out of this academy. He’d come to this godforsaken village to learn how to fight and survive in the forest, not become some obedient little soldier boy, but even so he wasn’t going to get booted yet. And certainly not after only five days.
So he kept quiet. If he had to play the director’s errand boy for a day, so damn be it!
“Ah, here we are. Finally. My dear friend’s farm. Tell me, young Gideon, is it not simply beautiful?”
“‘S okay.”
Granted, the house did look cozy, resting encircled by giant roots with its warm brick walls, but those gigantic snails everywhere sent a shudder down his spine. If he had to touch those slimy monsters he would throw a fit, but the house’s sliding doors opened before he could utter a protest.
A fine-boned, elderly woman emerged, followed by a huge man with a greying beard.
A boy, probably his own age but way shorter, held the door open for them, seemingly waiting for more people to come out. His big green eyes were cast on the floor.
The older woman’s lips curled into a crooked smile as she caught sight of the director, whose whole face had lit up.
“Moira. My darling. Please do not tell me you are about to leave?! Not when I looked forward to seeing your beautiful face again.”
Gideon suppressed a gag. The woman crossed her arms, smile growing sharper, but her blue eyes twinkled warmly as she spoke.
“You’re charming as ever, Eric.”
The man behind her huffed, stepping closer. “Also happy ‘ter see ya, Eric.”
“Oh rival, how could you not? Since-“
The director launched into one of his speeches but Gideon’s focus snapped to the girl that stepped out the door, right behind a blonde woman. She wore a tight black romper, translucent blouse hanging of her thin shoulders and her fancy getup alone made her stick out from the other villagers, but what really caught his attention was her face. Iits left side was oddly deformed, her pale skin creased like a wrinkled silk sheet, leaving her left eye smaller than the other. She mouthed something to the boy, smiling, earning a smile from him in turn.
“Ah yes may I introduce: Gideon, my newest student.”
Having lost most of the adults’ conversation Gideon tuned back just in time to give them a curt nod.
“Hi.”
“I will send him to you after the feast then, to come and get the mucin salve once you finish it.”
Oh great, he really just got downgraded to an errand boy.
They descended the stairs, lined up one after another on the narrow path, the short boy right in front of him, followed the strange girl. He had avoided Gideon’s eyes as he squeezed past him, careful not to touch, probably scared off by his uniform. The school’s emblem, embroidered on his stainless white shirt, proudly declared him a scout in training. Deadly. Fearless. The little farm boy definitely did better not to mess with an insect slayer.
The girl came to an abrupt halt, frozen in the woodland’s shadows before it gave way to the dusty hill road, and Gideon nearly collided with the farm boy’s back.
That’s when he heard it.
A primal, bone chilling hiss tore through the hot afternoon air, rattling through his very core. Every hair on his body stood, muscles tensing, on edge just like his fraying nerves. He knew that sound. Even though he’d heard it only once before. On the crusade from last-stand-berlin to the village, where he had seen the beast it belonged to lurk on the riverside, watching them. He would never forget a spider’s hiss. Not ever.
And there one stood, right in front of him, its eight thorny legs towering high above its ugly head. The spider’s giant yaws worked, rubbed against each other in agitation. Its razor sharp fangs glistened in the sun.
A man sat atop its massive, hairy body, scar-faced and clad in a straw cape fastened to a beetle’s shell that armored his left shoulder, shimmering in iridescent hues of blue and green. He did not smile as he glanced down at them. A silent challenge was edged in the hard lines of his rugged face.
The air was so brittle it felt like any moment it could snap, and if it didn’t, Gideon might.
That’s when the director shouldered past him, spear drawn and followed by the other man. Both planted themselves right in front of him and the others.
The intruder’s scar stretched with the rise of his eyebrows, eyes slitting in a lazy grin.
“Woah, there. Hold your horses pals. Before someone does somethin’ he regrets later.”
“That a threat?” the bearded man grumbled.
Moira ducked past her husband, face twisted in a furious scowl. “Oh, something other than riding in another village on a damn wolf-spider you mean?!” The corded muscle in her boney arm flexed, bulging, as she shook a fist at the man, unveiling a wrath behind her primly dressed form that no one would have wanted to fall victim too.
He, however, just leaned closer, smile stretching into a shark-tooth grin. “Gutsy, are we? I like that.”
Eric stepped up beside her, spear held high in a white knuckled grip. “How could you make it past our InD-Units with this monstrosity?! God show you mercy if you did something to-”
“What do you think I am?!” the intruder drawled, “A monster?! Only reason I got past your units was this baby here.”
Gideon had to stand on his tiptoes to catch a glance of the small round device that sat embedded into the spider’s head, partly hidden by the man’s straw cape. A little red light blinked in a steady rhythm above three buttons, which the man was careful not to touch as he tapped his knuckles softly against it.
“Renders her absolutely obedient. See?”
He unsheathed a knife from a holster strapped around his leg and its steel blade shimmered as he rammed it in one of the spider’s eyes, plopping it out with a nauseating plitch. The spider endured its master’s violation in utter stillness, only twitching its yaws, creating an awful hiss in their never ceasing movement.
 “She’s docile as a lamb.”
“And how exactly is that supposed to work?” the girl inquired, meeting the man’s stare with a calculatingly cold composure. His mouth twitched.
“Man, what do I know, Missy?! I’m a mutant hunter not a scientist.” He leaned closer. Venom spiked his words, dripped like acid from his tongue. “My expertise lies in chasing down freaks.”
The condescendingly cruel way in which he spoke, wielding words like a weapon meant to pierce and twist where it hurt most, reminded Gideon of his father. How dare this interloper compare someone to mutant monstrosities. Anger welled up in his chest, buzzed down his legs and made them move, planting himself right between the girl and the intruder.
“Tsk. Mutant hunter?! You’ve ever really seen one? Or are you just talk?!”
“Gideon.”, the director warned, squeezing his shoulder warningly as he tried to pull him back, but the intruder just gave them a wry smile.
“No no. Let's hear him out. Have you ever seen one boy?”
“Yes. There hideous monstrosities.  And I’m going to find and kill every single of one of them.”
The intruder burst into violent laughter, shoulders shaking and head thrown back, nearly losing his balance under the force of it.
“You do have guts, I give you that. But also lots to learn. Some barely look like monsters.  Just small and weak. But ugly, that’s the whole lot of them.” His eyes wandered back to the girl. The blonde woman beside her gasped, searching for words to shot back, but falling silent as she noticed the girls expression.
Red blotches burned on her face, rage twisting it into a vicious scowl. The afternoon sun set her copper curls on fire. Ready to spew fury and flames, she opened her mouth but the short boy was faster, small voice piping up.
“Char- Charlotte is… is no- no mutant and, uhm, and she’s neither ugly nor weak. And pe-people who talk about killing others for no- no reason are… They’re the- the real monsters.”
His fingers fiddled with his shorts as he spoke, twisting in the dark, worn linen as he stumbled over his words and his big green eyes jumped from the rocky street to the spider’s fangs, lingering on the intruder’s face before landing on  Gideon. His eyes narrowed as he all but spat the last words in Gideon’s face.
“The hell you just said?!” Gideon’s nostrils flared. How dare this little runt run his mouth about things he didn’t know shit about!
Crossing his arms in an attempt to shield himself from Gideon’s anger, the boy forced himself to hold Gideon’s furious, wide eyed stare.  “Y- you heard me.”
Gideon could feel a vein pulsing in his throat, pumping liquefied fire through his veins. His hands twitched.
“I give you one chance to take. That. Back.”
The boy’s trembling fingers dug in his forearms, knuckles whitening as he lifted his chin. “Never.”
A roar tore from Gideon’s throat as he leapt forward. Rage tore through him like a wildfire, ready to ignite everything his fist would come in contact with.
In that frozen second between charge and impact, the boy’s feet moved. His body tilted to the side. Dodged Gideon’s fist. Effortlessly. He bounced back. Landed on the first stone step and uncrossed his arms. Ready to defend himself.
That little runt had nerves! Gideon broke into a sprint.
“You sure are good at dodging!” His fist swung back. “Try to handle this!”
Gideon’s muscles flexed. But a strong hand stopped him, holding his wrist in an iron grip before he could smash his fist down.
Craning his neck, he looked up at the old man’s stern face.
Fuck. He is fast?!
“Looks like ya still got lots t’ learn about respect ‘n self-discipline, young man.”
He released Gideon’s hand and turned to the other boy. His grey eyes glistened like ice shards, sharp as his words. “Same goes for you. Ya disappointed me, Sahar.”
Wincing, Sahar flinched back. His big eyes glistened with unshed tears, blinking up at the man.
“Wh-wha- what do you mean?”
“I haven’t trained ya to run off ‘n start mindless fights. I tried to teach ya discipline ‘n how to survive these woods.” His voice did not waver, bringing more to tears to green eyes.
“Someone's a stuck up.” the intruder mumbled, earning the older womans venomous glare.
“But- but I didn’t- he was the one who-“
“Enough,” the man thundered. “Don’t argue with me. If ya want a beatin’ so bad I’ll give ya one later. And now back t’ the farm. Ya grounded for the week. No fest. No nothin’!”
Sahar shrank under the man’s anger, head ducked between his shoulders as the first teardrop fell. It trickled down his trembling yaw, painting a glistening path on his pale olive skin.
His voice was reduced to a shaky exhale as he nodded, eyes fixed on the dirty ground. “Yes, sir.”
Sahar stormed up the stairs and vanished behind thick bushes, as the intruder burst into a new laughing fit.

Lost Song: 1
Summary: The war between the Dragons and Griffons ended 233 years ago, and both races right along with it.
Or so it was believed. There are three individuals that will soon change that.
Kai is the last of the Dragons and he seeks to take what he sees as his rightful place and rule over all of Oblvi. Meanwhile, Shouta, the last Sphinx, wants nothing more than to do his job; keep the peace and and teach the young Fourth’s to hopefully avoid the mistakes of their ancestors. And Teris, a Foundling who is just trying to understand and survive in this strange new world that is supposedly her own.
All three have their own wants and desires, but Kai’s plans, Teris’ existence, and Shouta's past mean that none of them may get what they want.
***So this fic will have a LOT more world building than my others.   Please feel free to comment. For those who have read my Chaos fic, yes, I'm reusing the term Oblvi.  Words are hard and I liked the term; but this fic isn't connected to Chaos.  The same goes for reader/oc's name being Teris.   She's not the same Teris from Erase the Shadow.
This fic is rated explicit and has warnings of sex, violence, and other possible triggers.
If you prefer reading off AO3 here’s the link for that: https://archiveofourown.org/works/24009679
Special thank you to @inorganicone2230 who knows of my love for the mythic and encouraged me to start this fic without stressing about the other two I’ve got going.  Your friendship means the world to me.  And I can’t wait to go down the rabbit hole of ideas with in for this fic.
1.1
“What do you mean she wants to give him back!”
The Arbitrators snarl caused the already nervous Miyashita to hiccup and vanish.  With a swallow the Changeling slowly reappeared.
“I—it—it is not a matter of want.”  The nervous Sprite responded.  “Rather a matter of necessity.”
The Arbitrator glared at the little man seated across from his desk.  As a rule, Enji didn’t trust things he couldn’t look in the eye.  So it didn’t help his annoyance that he had to stretch his back and lean slightly forward in order to see the Changeling given that the Sprites forehead barely reached the level of the desks polished surface.
“Explain.” Enji demanded when the Sprite showed no sign of going on.
“Well, ah, you see--”  Miyashita stalled looking every where but at the frightful Manticore.
Enji growled his impatience, struggling to keep his human form.  To think that this little gnat had had the nerve to chitter at him for offering a book on which to boost his child-like frame upon.
“The thing is.”  Miyashita went on with carefully.  “Her Ladyship would not be able keep the Reaping even if she wanted, for he is not human.”
Not human!  Enji blinked.  A second Foundling in as many days.  This was just great.  At least the first, a woman, hadn’t been discovered during a Changeling Reaping.  Though Enji couldn’t decide if that was worse or better.  In any case, this would certainly garner the Council’s attention.  Something nobody wanted.
1.2
“Aizawa. Please, come in.”  Nedzu beckoned.
Shouta stepped into the Director of Traverseen Halls office and closed the door.  At the sight of Yagi and Todoroki, Shouta’s shoulders slightly tensed.  Thankfully, in human form his black hair was long enough to cover his neck and no one noticed the brief rise of his heckles.
“Please. Take a seat.  We have much to discuss.”  Director Nedzu urged.
Shouta did so choosing to take the open chair near the Arbitrator rather than Toshinori.  Sinking into the too soft seat, Shouta tried to think of any trouble his class of 1-A might have caused last time they were in town.  It was the only explanation he could think of for why both the area Arbitrator and Toshinori, the area Elder, were here.
Coal black eyes on the Director, Shouta questioned.  “What’s this about?  I have class in twelve minutes.”
“This will take longer than twelve minutes I’m afraid.  But there’s no need to worry about your students.  I sent Nemuri to cover your class.”  Nedzu told.
Shouta's eyes narrowed.  Though the animal looking creature tried to sound his usual chipper self, he could hear a tight telling of concern in the Hybrid’s voice.  The Sphinx sniffed.  His pure blood and Nedzu’s overly mixed meant that he could smell it too.
He wondered if Todoroki could smell Nedzu’s unease.  While dragons, griffons, and sphinx's were the most ancient of beasts; manticore's were older than most.  It afforded the species better honed senses, especially if they were pure bloods.  Something Arbitrator Todoroki was overly proud of.  Honestly, Shouta was surprised the respect Todoroki showed a hybrid like Nedzu, whose lineage was so mixed and mutated that even Nedzu himself couldn’t say what all he was.
Unlike pure bloods, hybrids carried remnants of their true form over into their human form.  The more muddled ones blood became the more remnants got carried over.  Nedzu’s lineage was so mixed that he couldn’t alter the image of the humanoid animal he appeared as. And given the fact that Fourth’s who couldn’t change into more human-like forms were thought of as less at best, Nedzu had faced a hard life.  Not that one could tell by his usually bright personality.
“Tea.” Nedzu offered the three men seated before his desk.
Enji and Shouta shook their heads, while Toshinori politely took a cup.
Curiosity and impatience getting the better of him, Shouta spoke up.  “Sir. I ask again.  What is this about?”
Nedzu set down the tea pot.  “That’s why I like you, Aizawa.  Focused. Straight to the point.  Something that was rarely found in your species.”
“I wouldn’t know.”  Shouta deadpanned.  He was the last of his kind. Locked in stone as a cub and found long after the dragons and griffons thought they had extinguish his species.
Enji huffed, crossing his arms.  He felt no sympathy for Aizawa's loss. The way he saw it it was sphinx-kinds own fault for not siding with the dragons.
Toshinori lowered his cup of tea.  The reminder of what dragon and griffon kind had done when the sphinx's refused to chose a side in the Dragon-Griffon War still sat ill with him despite him having served the griffons.
Nedzu knew well enough that Aizawa wasn’t seeking sympathy or calling anyone out for their past allegiances.  The Sphinx was merely stating a fact.  “Arbitrator, if you would.”
Enji uncrossed his arms.  “A week and half ago, the Changeling Queen of a local clan visited Terra for a sanctioned Reaping.  Unfortunately she couldn’t keep her claim as the being she reaped turned out not to be a Fourth.”
“A foundling Fourth.”  Shouta mused.  “Irregular to find one young enough that it hasn’t realized what it is, but not impossible. Sprites more than any other Fourth like to mess with humans.  Despite the Council’s laws, Changeling’s will find a way to trade their young for human children.”
“As a member of the Ilca it’s your job to stop them.”  Enji rumbled.
“Your opinion of me flatters.  But I’m only one sphinx.  I can’t be everywhere.”  Shouta stared at the reddening Arbitrator a moment before going on.  “Besides, some Fourth foundling isn’t what this is about.  Such a clear and simple breach of Council law wouldn’t interest both you or the area Elder.”  He glanced passed Todoroki to Yagi.  “So I ask again.  What is this about?”
Shouta realized he was being rude but he didn’t care.  He had a class to get to.  It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Nemuri not to let 1-A run rampant...okay, that was precisely it.
Not one to be rushed by anyone, and certainly not some member of the Ilca, Enji went on.  “The Foundling the Changeling Queen reaped is a man.  Obviously young.  Says he’s twenty-nine.  Likely a hybrid of sprite and spirit.  Though time will tell exactly which species his lineage is.  But that’s not all.  The day prior to that a trader whose license allows him to bring goods in and out of Terra returned with a Foundling of his own.  A woman.  The trader was a Derrick, said he sensed the presence of a Fourth and followed it discovering an unconscious woman in an alley.  Unable to rouse her and finding no pass that allowed her to be in Terra he brought her back with his load.  Since the woman claims she doesn’t know the Derrick and only regained consciousness once here we had no way of verifying his story.  Derrick’s are tricksy creatures--”
“They’re a benevolent species known for pranks of little harm.”  Shouta interrupted.
“That hardly means the Derrick is telling the truth.”  Enji bristled.
Rather than argue, Shouta looked across to Yagi.  “What does the area Elder think?”
Toshinori set down the tea cup.  “I believe him.  The Derrick has no reason to lie.”
Enji scoffed.  Yagi might be a powerful Talos, but he was too kind.  Too trusting.  The Elder’s compassionate, charitable nature made him weak in Enji’s eyes.  He would've been a better Elder.  The area needed a firmer, less accepting leader.
Shouta smirked into his scarf-like piece that served as restraints and a weapon of sorts.  He had never really cared for the boisterous, attention hungry Elder.  But if they insisted on making him late for class, the least he could do was irk the Manticore by reminding him of his lesser place to Yagi.
The Sphinx fixed his gaze on Nedzu.  “As intriguing as all this is, Sir.  What does it have to do with me or Traverseen Hall in general?”
“Both Foundlings are to be trained and placed in your Ilca.”
Shouta's mouth opened.  He worked alone.  And with good reason.  Though the species divided by the Dragon-Griffon War were slowly coming back together, there was one species.  One person.  That they all hated. Him.
“I know what you’re thinking.”  Nedzu said.
“Do you?”  Shouta asked.
“The Foundlings don’t know about our history.  They won’t care that you’re a sphinx.”
“I work alone.”  Shouta said.
“Correction. You <em>worked</em> alone.”
Shouta frowned into his scarf-like piece at Todoroki’s taunting words.
Yagi cleared his throat.  Only he, Todoroki, and Nedzu knew that the woman was a griffon.  But if she was to be part of Aizawa's Ilca, he thought it important for the Sphinx to know.
Sensing the Elder's plan, Nedzu spoke up. “Discovering what either of them are is of secondary consequence at the present.  Neither of them remember anything about who they truly are, if they ever knew in the first place.  They didn’t even know Oblvi existed and therefore know nothing of our world.  The goal is to see that they have the tools and ability to survive.”
“And you don’t think making them part of my Ilca is counter productive to their survival?”  Shouta questioned, levelly.  Just being part of his Ilca would make things unnecessarily difficult on them when it came to making acquaintances, never mind friends.
Nedzu ignored the query.  “Seeing as you have a full schedule teaching and being an active Ilca, I have ordered Oboro to instruct and train the male Foundling.  And Kai do to the same with the female.”
Kai. Shouta's teeth pressed together at the mention of the Dragon.  “So you think she’s a beast of some kind?”
Nedzu nodded.  “She’s certainly not a spirit, sprite, or demon.”
Shouta sighed.  At least she was of the same division as he.  But the other Foundling?  It wasn’t that he had anything against spirits or sprites…
Still ill at ease about keeping the truth of the woman’s lineage from the Council, Enji stated.  “Yagi and I have spoken with the Council. They are eager to learn exactly what kind of Fourth’s the two are.”
Boisterous voice taking on a more serious edge, Yagi told Aizawa.  “I’m more concerned with seeing that these two learn how to survive and don’t inadvertently hurt someone.  Proper instruction and first hand experience are vital to that.  Sending them out with an Ilca member will give them both.  Especially if that Ilca member is an accomplished teacher.”
Shouta disregarded the compliment, silently cursing the Elder’s reasonable thinking.  Tiresome as it was, the idea was logical.  The two foundlings clearly weren’t some young-lings to be enrolled in the Ilca course at Traverseen Hall.  A three year sedate course of learning would only be a danger to themselves and others.  Being older their power would be greater.  They needed to learn to control it as quickly as possible.  While throwing them into the fire might seem a recipe for disaster.  It was only rational way to assure their power displayed itself and force them to control it.
Still, Shouta didn’t like being saddled with two members to his Ilca.  As much as he liked teaching, he worked alone.  Not to mention the hassle and danger of not knowing what kind of Fourth’s they were.
As if reading his mind, Nedzu said.  “Aside from basic base instincts, once they learn and begin to display their inherent abilities, we will be able to narrow down what kind of Fourth’s they are.”
Shouta nodded in agreement.  While a particular species instinct didn’t always run true or as strong for every Fourth of that species; that, combined with the inherent abilities, should give them a better idea of what kind of Fourth they were.  They already knew the divisions of the two.  Beast for the woman.  And spirit and sprite for the man. The next step would be to learning what phylum they were part of, then class, followed by order, tribe, genus, and finally species.
Shouta cursed his own species inherent love of puzzles and riddles.  Even if given a choice by the three seated around him, he wouldn’t have been able to say no to such a tempting mystery.
“I’ll take them.”
1.3
A knock on Kai’s office door sounded.  “Enter.”
Teris eyed the man that had escorted her, slowly walking passed him to enter the room.
“Kai. The Foundling female.”  Hari introduced.
“I have a name.”  Teris snapped.  She looked to the man behind the desk, her breath catching in her throat.
Kai’s head shot up, gold eyes lifting.  The aura she gave off.  The prideful power…
Teris chalked her hammering heart and tingling senses up to the events of the last three days and not the man seated before her.  “Where’s Hizashi?”
“Who?”
“The other Foundling.”  Hari explained.
Kai’s disappointment was palatable.  For a moment he had thought.  Had hoped that she was a dragon.  Just the feeling of ancient, unbridled power she gave had excited and thrilled him.  But that excitement and interest diminished in an instant.  Dragons weren’t pack Fourth’s and whatever this woman was, she clearly was if she cared enough to ask about the other Foundling whereabouts.
Setting aside the quill, Kai closed pushed away the stack of orders.  “The other Foundling will be learning with those from his own division. You will be learning with yours.”
“Beasts.” Teris said, pulling the word from memory.  A lot had been said to her and Hizashi these last few days, it was hard to remember and keep it all straight.
“At least you’re not completely oblivious.”  Kai muttered under his breath.
“I have a three masters and was close to getting my doctorate before--” Teris stopped.  These people.  These things didn’t need to know about her abduction and trouble she had escaped from before being found and brought over.  More over being taken was a sign of weakness and every instinct she had was telling her not to appear weak before this golden eyed man.
“Your Terra education will be of little good here.”  Kai dismissed, not at all surprised she had heard him.  Excellent hearing was a trait of most beasts.  Simmering eyes focused on her.  “Though I can appreciate your obvious interest in learning.  I myself enjoy the endeavor of bettering not just my body but my mind.”
If her world hadn’t been turned upside down, Teris might've remarked that his body didn’t require any bettering; but she kept the passing thought to herself.
“Let’s start properly, shall we.  I am Chisaki Kai.  That’s Kurono Hari.”
“And what kind of creatures—Fourth’s are you?”
“That’s impolite to ask.”  Hari grumbled.
Kai held up a staying hand.  “True.  But forgivable.  I’m a dragon. Hari’s an arepyiai.  And you are?”
“I—I don’t know.”  A part of her still wondered if she should be here. The other, great part, still questioning if this was all real. Maybe she was still back in that cell.  Her abductors…
“Why don’t we start with your name.”  Kai suggested.
“Nova. Teris.”
“And may I call you Teris?”
Teris nodded.
“Good. You may call me Kai.  What don’t you show me your true form.”
Teris’ hand pressed to her shirt collar.  “M—my what?”
“Hari.” Kai commanded.
Hari changed into his true form.  It was a startling sight.  Unlike more ancient Fourth’s, arepyiai’s were far from beautiful.  More horrid miss-mash of the two root species that arepyiai stemmed from. He had the bird-like lower body of a harpy, along with their smaller wings.  While his torso was lion-like with the head of an eagle, showing the griffon part of his species lineage.
Teris jumped back.
Kai noted her quickness even in human form, adding it to the list of telling things about her that would eventually reveal what she was. “Your turn.”
“I—I can’t do that.”
“Afraid there’s not enough room?  Don’t worry.  Traverseen Hall was built with dwarf magic.  The room was made to accommodate Fourth’s in their true from.  It will expand as much as required.”  Kai offered.
“That’s… Not what I meant.”
Kai sighed.  It was foolish to think it would be so easy.  “Fine.  We met.  I will teach you.  Be back here first thing in the morning.”
It wasn’t as if he had much of a choice.  The Rat, Nedzu, hadn’t given him a choice.
“That’s it.”  Teris blinked.
Hari already back in human form, had the door open, ushering arm extended.
“The day is nearly done and I have work to do.”  Kai stated.
He couldn’t help a small smile.  She was pretty.  And if she was bright enough to have three masters from Terra, she might be a welcome diversion from the rigors of his goal.
Hari returned shortly after seeing her out.  “What do you think?”
“Too soon to tell.  But whatever she is, her species is old.  It’s inconvenient.  Having her around.  Even if it’s just during the day.”
“Wonder if the Rat suspects.”
Kai shook Hari’s concern away.  “Even if Nedzu suspects anything.  A Foundling would make for a terrible spy.  She doesn’t know enough about anything to find something out of sorts.”
“Even so.  I’ll order the rest of the Ilca to be careful when she’s around.”
Kai nodded, pleased.  He was just glad that his Ilca had a full complement of eight and the Foundling couldn’t be assigned to it. That definitely would've made his plans all the more difficult.  He had the thought of teaching her the old way.  The true and right way of things.
“Whose Ilca was she placed in?”
“Aizawa's.”
Kai frowned at that.  The thought of teaching her suddenly became all the more appealing.

new york’s very own madison ‘madi’ ko was spotted on broadway street in chanel sneakers . your resemblance to kim chungha is unreal . according to tmz , you just had your twenty-first birthday bash . while living in nyc , you’ve been labeled as being obsessive , but also ambitious . i guess being a virgo explains that . 3 things that would paint a better picture of you would be glittery eyes, dangling earrings, & chanel draped in pearls.  ( cisfemale & she/her) + ( kale, 20 , she/her , est. )
hi honeybuns !! im back and with child. there is a brief mention of an ed under the cut but i block it off with a tw start & end.    if you’d like to plot pls leave a like and i can dm you or hit you up on discord !! my discord is kale#3079
BACKSTORY
haneul madison ko was born september 18, 1999 to two immigrant parents from S.K. her birth name is haneul, but she went by the name madison since it was easier to pronounce + madi began to almost detest her culture??
it was just that growing up she would sometimes get bullied for looking different at her school, for the way her packed lunches smelled/looked, the way people would stare if she spoke korean to her parents, how other kids would make fun of her english since she didn’t pick up on vocab/grammar as quickly since she didn’t practice at home with her parents. she just became SO insecure about it that she rejected her culture. she wouldn’t bring her mom’s food to school, if her mom ever forced her to take it she’d throw it away  and choose to starve instead. she wouldn’t speak korean back to her parents in public, barely even in private (which reeaaallly upset her parents). this also REALLY destroyed her korean language skills. she can understand still, but she can barely hold a basic conversation anymore.
as she grew up, and continued this sense of distancing herself from her culture, she ultimately distanced herself from her family. which left her feeling -  - alone often, even though it was all due to her own choices. in this loneliness, she found her escape in music. she would wear headphones constantly through the halls, in car rides, in her room when her parents yelled at her to turn the music down. she just loved music. she saved up the money her parents gave her whenever she worked at the nail salon (her parents owned it!!) to thrift an old keyboard. she became self-taught by trying to copy melodies of songs she’d listen to, thrifting piano lesson books, staying after school with the music teacher learning to play. sometimes she’d even skip lunch to sit in the chorus room with her choir director and play.
it’s not that she had a LACK of friends growing up, maybe just that she lacked a best friend. she had a lot of friends, but no one that she felt so connected to in the way she felt connected to music. perhaps, she was addicted to her loneliness.
she spent a lot of time playing the piano and dabbling in writing music that her grades started to fall (not that she was ever the BEST student) and her parents literally took away her piano. they said it was a waste of time because they wanted her to focus on doing well, so she could get into a good university, and then live a good life. music was just a distraction
but that didnt work
she would sneak out into the city to go to concerts and poetry readings. she’d sneak out and go to indie songwriters scenes while her parents thought she was at the library with one of her school friends
This underground scene had her full heart!! she was surrounded by likeminded people who just lived for music. she was hearing all of these incredible people who were all looking for their start. maybe not looking for anything at than just to sing their songs. tbh i think this was the point she was happiest. she was completely enveloped in music, just for the sake of music. There wasn’t any pressure, just music. Just the songs. she was wide eyed looking at this whole underground scene of artists. So maybe some plots from these underground charas?!
she’d perform some songs at karaoke nights and the indie sessions, and a producer took a keen interest in one of her songs. basically im kind of stealing halsey’s career start, but she posted a song Came in Close on SoundCloud and just blew up overnight. in the morning, she woke up to a record label asking her to fly to LA for a meeting.
and thus, Madison Ko began a career as Madi Ko where she’d release her debut album, Honey, a few months later. (DISCOGRAPHY HERE). her music is very 80s synth inspired!
new album that is most definitely CRJ’S EMOTION is coming soon...
PERSONALITY
right off the bat, madi is an absolute firecracker!! she’s loud, bursting with personality, has a lack of inhibitions that CHAOTICALLY mixes with her spontaneity
part of this is projecting her insecurities. she felt lonely as a child but doesn’t want to be seen as that to the world. it’s not so much a persona but an exaggeration of who she was.
she likes to show off her glam bc it, once again, hides her insecurities.
she just kind of is dramatic anymore
like everything about her
her persona as Madi Ko, upcoming popstar underdog, is like DUNKED in glitter, over the top stages and sets, draped in couture. basically her stages/outfits/dances/mvs are like Chungha’s but with Pale Waves and Carly Rae Jepsen VC. ex: 1, 2, 3, 4
also bc im obsessed with chungha’s famous diamond wink, IT’S GONNA BE MADI’S THING TOO. so basically madi has trended on twt a few times bc of her signature diamond wink bc she effing glues rhinestones and glitter under her eyes for performances !! she said fuck corneas !! ex: 1, 2, 3      ....god chungha is magical
so while madi is like a brand hypebeast n never shuts up, she can also get,,, easily annoyed. and heavily perceives ppl on first impressions despite that being the reason she felt misunderstood a lot growing up.
definitely argumentative!!! will blow up arguments for no reason n then later questions why she made it such a big deal but cant own up to her mistakes
when she decides she doesnt like you, SHE DOESNT LIKE YOU. it’s done. bridge is burned, she’s not keen on second chances
fame has definitely given her a bit of an ego problem --- she’s a bit more aggressive, self-obsessed while intrinsically insecure, is too busy flaunting her material possessions and trendy life that she can...lose touch of reality. basically most of her high school friends cant stand her. HC that her high school bf broke up with her bc she was no longer was the madison ko he knew!!! so if anyone wants to be that ex lmk !!! she’s written songs about them!!!
definitely the type of girl who is so hype at a party, dancing in fallen confetti, standing on the fireplace mantle, but then midway realizes she’s lonely. sad at a party.
ED TW STARTS!!!!!
....
she kind of always had body image issues growing up, but it was very off and on, but once she got signed and being by surrounded by cameras became normal she formed a full fledged ED. she’s passed out at concerts a few times bc of her ED, but they always brush it off as “not enough rest” or “she wasnt feeling well that day but pushed to perform anyway as to not disappoint the fans”
so feel free for ur muses to point it out !! she’ll get really defensive like “i eat i just work out a lot” and yeah it’s true she works out a lot but she...doesn’t really eat
it’s also one of the causes of her irritability ...
.....
END ED TW!!!!
idk why this is so long
always up for mischief!
does love a good prank. asks weird hypotheticals
is not scared of an ouija board
will get wasted off a few shots and drunk madi is UNSTOPPABLE
one time drunk madi cried bc her siamese cat (MOCHI !!!) wouldn’t ever get to go to school and would never know chemistry..... the dramatics.....
she is sensitive and despises it. she does everything she can to not come across as sensitive
however, she’s so obsessive. so deep in feeling. when she feels something she FEELS it. when she is mad it boils through her. when she is in love it is all she knows. when she is sad it covers her like sweaters and blankets on rainy days. she doesn’t know how to half-feel. everything she feels stops her in her tracks.
HOWEVER she’s the most obsessive with her own insecurities — so in relationships she’s kind of known for tapping out early. she just gets scared and the fleetingness of her career and that she’s at her very core, lonely and disappointed in herself, makes her want to run away thinking that letting down her walls and being vulnerable could only be disappointing for her SO. so maybe she ghosted ur chara or gave some lame excuse
Kind of obsessed with how she’s perceived
terrified that at any moment her career could be thrown away, her deemed irrelevant, and she goes back to being Madison Ko, daughter of nail techs in Koreatown. and then her parents would have been right all along, music was a waste of time.
she’s just my little fallen angel who flew to the sun (fame) and it constantly eats away at her girlhood, at her heart.
anyways this is all i got rn <3 come love me sorry i kind of didn’t shut up this is long
WANTED CONNECTIONS
an ex from before she was famous who broke up with her because of how she changed!! PLEASE i have ideas for this. plus,,, you get a lot of songs about ur chara!!! could be from high school, maybe someone in the music scene she frequented before she was signed, anything!!
anothr ex/fwb/undefined relationship i’d love is one when she was first famous who just introduced her to everything. something like a whirlwind that was exciting and magical. she’s written songs about this person.
exes in general.
hookups/fwb
romantic plots. pls i have songs who need meaning. friends to lovers, one sided (either way), slowburn, ANYTHING. love cruel summer plots, anything lover by tswift
PR relationships -- would LOVE one where she falls in love with the other despite how clearly defined they made their relationship
love triangles in general just get me going
best friend!!!! the one’s who know how the other feels just by looking at each other. they have countless sleepovers. tell each other everything. cry together on bathroom floors. pregame together.
ex friends. for whatever reason -- maybe madi did smth shitty, maybe they did. maybe there was backstabbing, maybe madi sacrificed friendship for a career, maybe she made moves on their romantic partner/interest despite being fully aware. idk. gimme
People she knew from the underground/indie scene before they were famous!! they’d have bonded over their love for music, little indie dreams kind of vibe. just imagine a group of dreamers !! Would love if they made some kind of pact!!!
party friends
collabs !!
pranks. mischief. gimme
enemies. gotta cook up some drama, yknow
GIRL GANG. god i just want this so bad like make a girls dream come true

Branjie & “Such poison from a pretty, honeyed mouth.” +“If you want me, come and get me.” - whaat ?? barbie??? Who dat is???
Barbs, you made me write more of this AU that I never intended to make and now we’re here. So you better be thankful because now I am married to this AU and I don’t want to be. (Also, idk what to call this au, pls give ur suggestions in the comments down below)
“Such poison from a pretty, honeyed mouth.” and “If you want me, come and get me.”
“You left a message?”
It was Vanjie.
Of course it was, Brooke’s mind reasoned. She was the only one who had the number.
Brooke looked around at the other agents who had, by now, after the first ring from the phone, all taken up their respective posts. They looked at her expectantly, earpieces tuned in to receive the same audio Brooke was.
Brooke took a deep breath in.
She was good at her job. She could do this.
It was just strange that after all the hours she had put into researching and hearing about one of the world’s most infamous art thieves, she now had her on the phone.
“Yes, we wanted to speak with you about any information you have regarding a particular suspect by the name of-”
“-wait, who is this, this ain’t West,” Vanjie cut her off.
“No, I’m afraid Director West has other matters to attend to,” Brooke lied.
“That’s a lie, you the new chick on my case ain’t you?”
Vanjie was smarter than she looked.
Brooke sighed, “Vanessa, we would like to see you in person to discuss this matter.”
Vanjie chuckled darkly, it sent shivers down Brooke’s spine “Oh, I’m sure you would, hot stuff. Tell me, what’s it like in Canada? The winters as cold as they say?”
Correction.
Vanjie was a lot smarter than she looked.
Brooke should have expected it. She didn’t keep a low profile, so it wasn’t hard to make the connection. Still, it was a bit... unnerving to have a world-renowned criminal know where you used to live.
It seemed Vanjie had done her research.
“This call isn’t about me,” Brooke brushed her off. “We would really like to discuss this in person.”
“Such poison from a pretty, honeyed mouth.” Vanessa mused, seemingly to herself. “Well, darlin’, I can’t very well do that, now can I? No,” Vanjie answered her own question. “So why don’t we cut to the chase and you tell me what you’re offering me.” Vanessa’s voice took on a huskier tone.
She spoke like she was... seducing Brooke.
Vanessa was... flirting?
Was it really flirting? Was it an intimidation tactic?
Brooke plowed ahead, keeping mental notes on the rise and fall of Vanjie’s breaths, “We can talk about compensation in person. We can even pick you up from wherever you are. Just let us know where to find you, and we’ll make this process as painless as possible.”
Vanjie chuckled again. “Oh, but sometimes a little pain can be fun.” Brooke felt the shivers travel up to her hairline. That damn voice directly pressed to her ear was doing a number on her nerves. “I’m sure you’d know. Apprehendin’ criminals and all that. I wonder, you ever let that control slip a bit, all that anger in you, you ever take it out on someone?”
Brooke didn’t need to look around the room to know that everyone was watching her intently. She tried not to let the flush at the base of her neck spread.
“You’re trying to distract me,” Brooke said plainly.
“It is workin?”
“No,” Brooke lied.
“Bummer, you was really shaping up to be my favorite,” Vanessa sounded... genuinely disappointed.
Brooke tried to get them back on track, well aware of the other agents now trading unreadable looks between them. “We just want to talk with you.”
The disappointment was gone, replaced with that same husk from before, “If you want me, come and get me.”
Vanessa was flirting. Definitely flirting.
Brooke... hadn’t accounted for this.
No matter.
She could adapt.
“Well, where are you?”
“Hmm, there’s no fun in me just tellin’ ya. Figure it out, Hytes.”
Brooke shook off the unease that came with Vanjie knowing her name as quickly as she could, forcing her head into ‘work mode’. “Well, you’re obviously calling from a payphone-”
Vanjie cut her off again, “Oh, obvious? How?”
“You wouldn’t be stupid enough to call from a phone that’s traceable.”
“Are you callin’ me smart?”
Vanjie almost sounded... pleased? Flattered? Smug?
“I’m calling you clever.”
“Same difference.”
“Not really, because a smart person wouldn’t have called from a payphone near the beach,” Brooke smirked to herself. “Seagulls in the background,” She explained.
Vanjie didn’t say anything, so Brooke continued.
She started speaking before she could overthink.“You live in LA. You work all over but you live in LA. That I found from your old phone history.” Brooke paused a moment and she swore she heard Vanjie inhale. “You’re at a beach by the ocean, I can hear the waves.”
Brooke thought for a moment racking her brain for information. Where would Vanjie go? It had to be somewhere recognizable, but not too recognizable. Vanjie liked the chase, she wanted to be found. Not actually found, but she wanted her “genius” recognized.
A lightbulb went off in Brooke’s head.
“Hermosa Beach Pier.”
Vanjie was silent for a moment. “Why Hermosa?”
Brooke smirked, she was right. She could hear it in Vanjie’s voice. “It means Beautiful in Spanish.” Brooke looked up to see a suddenly bustling room. Agents were on phones and writing and in general chaos. It only made Brooke smile wider.
“You aren’t nearly as subtle as you think you are.”
Brooke could hear Vanjie’s smirk through the phone. “We’ll see about that.”

khkt 02.10.19 lb
i hope you guys don’t mind i haven’t been including caps in the lbs these days. it’s just that capping + inserting the images in tumblr makes an lb take 3x longer, and i really don’t want to be spending that kinda time on a show that’s not giving me much joy rn. i’ll get back to it eventually, coz i’m a visual bish, but for now it’s just too much time and energy waste.
———————————————————————
i hate these preview things. i hated it on ib, i hate it now. they just spoil the episode and are utterly pointless.
naren you are a rudeass fucking bitch. i'll need you to fix that 'tude before sona gets married into this house.
suman, you're right, but like.... calm down a little. sona is already hairaan pareshaan enough.
I AM MAMA BEAR SUMAN. I WILL MANGLE ALL YOU FUCKS TO DEATH IF YOU TALK CRAP ABOUT MY GIRL.
sona, you're too nice. if i were you, i'd be halfway to goregaon by now. fuck raima, fuck you sippys, and fuck romantic love and relationships and all this unnecessary bullshit.
great, half of sukhmani sippy’s staff and equipment have arrived.
........... ok but what zaroorat does rohit have of you rn, sona? you're not a medical professional, and you're really not in his good books at the moment. chup chaap khadi raho na yahin kahin pe.
bechaara ajit has to go all the way to j seth now. ouff.
bheed toh aise jamaa rakhi hai sippys ne jaise koi shooting chal rahi ho idhar. like, the majority of y'all work in a hospital, aur jaahilon ki tarah you’re just crowding the room and gawking like this.
god my heart is breaking for sona. why is she simply torturing herself?
ofc he has to be standoffish. ugh.
i am suman. SUMAN IS ME. can we just go the fuck home pls??????
ouff, sona and pulkit, you're both soft idiots.
Tumblr media
men with eyelashes this good infuriate me.
this terrible waily music is adding to my dull headache.
dude. i get you're stressed, but come the fuck on, you were proposing to her 10 min back. you can afford to be civil. you could have said that in a polite tone. like ffs, be an adult and learn to keep a handle on your emotions for a bit. i'm so sick of men using any one (1) unpleasant emotion passing through their system as a ready excuse to be a fucking asshat.
oh great. Irritating Bong Mom is also here.
rohit what the fuck is wrong with you, you're a doctor for godssake, how the fuck is your bedroom a substitute for a hospital???? LIKE, IT'S NOT EVEN SOME RANDOM HOSPITAL; IT'S YOUR FUCKING HOSPITAL, YOU OWN IT, AND CALL ALL THE SHOTS THERE, SO WHAT EVEN..... lord i'm just so frustrated rn.
great, Irritating Bong Mom is shaking rohit like a pulp waale juice ka dabba.
MY GOD THIS WOMAN IS JUST SO SLAP-HAPPY; THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HER?!?!?! AUNTY YOU CAN'T JUST GO AROUND SLAPPING PPL AS AND WHEN YOU LIKE.
OMFG SHE PUSHED SONA ALSO. AUNTY KA NAAM BADAL KE SHONALI NAGRANI RAKH DO, COZ SHE IS FUCKING ASKING FOR IT. SHE'S DYING FOR IT. GET THE FUCK OFF THEIR BACKS, GOT IT?!?!!?!?!?!?!?
rohit ki satak gayi hai. he's just yelling at everyone. if raima's family doesn't consent to her being treated by a particular doctor, fairly sure they have THE RIGHT to take her elsewhere. you can't hold her hostage here coz of your personal hangups.
sona, you need to stop pushing. like he already told you to leave, why the hell do you wanna tell him your truth RIGHT THIS SECOND??? there's no point telling a person who's not in the headspace to listen.
finally sona ko akal aa gayi.
GREAT NOW SUMAN IS LIKE NO WE CAN’T LEAVE, WE HAVE TO TELL THEM OUR SIDE OF THINGS. CAN YOU JUST FUCKING LEAVE THIS HELLHOUSE ALREADYYYYYYY?!?!!?!?
oh sona. :(((((((((
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
lmao suman has the most "coz men are trash, child" face ever as sona laments hysterically about rohit not listening.
ok dipika i love you, but the shrieking is getting hard to take.
also why is sona taking responsibility for "ruining" karan's life? self pity mein kuch zyaada hi.
oh god, slap to get her outta the hysterics. how very tv serial-ish.
and ofc she went into sadma after that. ouff this show is becoming too cliche, too fast.
who woulda ever thunk suman would be my favt character in an episode????? i didn't, and i'm quite pleased about it.
oh god she's just a child on the inside. abandonment issues to the maxxxxxxxxxxx. everyone in this show needs so much fucking therapy.
god this awful fucking music, i'm getting really mad. my sensitivity to noise is super high and this episode is just hell on my nerves.
FORWARDING. I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE.
oh so you've finally calmed down enough to be civil to other ppl, is it???? good. if you'd have yelled at tulsi also, screen mein ghusske i'd have kicked your damn ass.
RETURN OF MUSIC. UGHHHHHHHHH.
oh ho sona, give the dude some time. matlab, come on, let him breathe.
OMG ROHAN HOW FUCKING DARE YOUUUUUUUUUUU
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA MAIN LIARS AUR CHEATERS SE BAAT NAHI KARTI IT SEEMS.
ughhhhhhh i really cannot with you two grossass fucks rn.
is that why you came all the way here, to demand answers as to why she spoke to pooja that way???
alice's dialogue delivery is real bad rn.
ugh literally fuck off, you losers.
sona, learn to take a hint. my god, this is such a teenager-y relationship.
lol doorbell hai sir, mandir ki ghanti nahi ki bajaaaye hi jaa rahe ho.
i know this is a dream anyway so i don't really give a shit.
i still don’t understand how a ring that is thrown can injure you BEHIND THE EAR?!?!
sis, you need a klonopin. at least a shot or two of codeine waala cough syrup to knock you the fuck out for a few hours.
wow, swift return of rationality when it came to pulki's internship.
uhhhhhh, that's EXACTLY why he chose pulkit for the internship??? coz he's your brother. literally no other reason.
———————————————————————
veena asking the real (but waaaaay too premature) question.
raima asking irritating question.
director asking valid question.
