I just think Dick should take notice that Bruce almost never makes eye contact with him anymore when they're in public together because Bruce is constantly scanning the rooftops around them. Like Bruce is incredibly paranoid about snipers now, and he's especially vigilant around Dick, and if they go in a shop or building, Bruce will always either corral Dick away from the windows, or he'll place himself closest to the windows so that if anything does come flying through the glass, it's going to hit him first.
