six months of haranguing later but i'm finally getting my moth-eaten carpet replaced today ✊😌
#like genuinely moth eaten as in i've actually seen larvae in the fibers before and almost barfed#eaten down to the webbing in places - been like that since i moved in 5 yrs ago smdh#but they raised my rent this year so i got bold#i asked if it could be a non-carpeted floor instead but apparently that's more than they budget for#but gOD i hate carpet GROSS AND BAD#fr any permanently placed fabric freaks me out#fabric couches that you can't remove and wash the covers? gross bad horrible#i have a full waterproof wrap around my mattress that i put cotton mattress covers over so it doesn't feel like sleeping on saran wrap#bc the idea of being in contact w something i can't fully clean nOPE.#and carpets.#carpets my beloathed.#just sat there gathering feet and dust and providing a warm dark pocket for critters nO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO#sorry this is my weirdo hill i'll die on
