That’s me! :D And, in theory, yes! I do have plans/outline for an Epilogue section of Luka adjusting back to life in the village with brambles and the inability to eat anything but fey food. Most likely I just haven’t seen it yet, I have over 200 asks ‘n if I look at them for too long I get overwhelmed, close tumblr ‘n go do something else helsphsjs

Next possibility is that tumblr ‘ate’ the ask. I didn’t even get it, which has happened before ‘n is really fuckin’ annoying!

i have such a grudge about this specific clip from Coda because this is now the third time i'm going to try to edit it to make the colors look nice and every time i do anything, it immediately starts looking weird as hell. idk what lighting they were using or what happened with the color grading but i swear it's cursed. however it is one of the few times we see Janeway cry so alas i do have to keep using it.

what would your ocs think of fireworks? also, what do they do for fun? (i know onyx probably doesn't get to ever do anything for fun- what would he enjoy if he got the chance?)

Onyx hates fireworks because he's very jumpy. Ryan hates fireworks because he thinks they're annoying. Queen Lucia also thinks they're annoying, but she does really like them for the first ten minutes or so. After that she moves on and gets annoyed. Cardan is the only one who'd probably actually really love them, but he mostly likes being the one to set them off. He would also think it's funny to watch Onyx be jumpy and flinch at the noises.

Onyx really liked to bake before he was a servant! The closest he gets to this now is cooking dinner and occasionally preparing other food. He does enjoy cooking, because he likes his time with Jayden, but not the same way he used to.

idk like, I think people should have the right and the space to complain about new canon fandom stuff if they want, I know how annoying it is when you wanna kvetch about something and then there's a toxically positive person trying to shame you for it, and I know there's probably always going to be stuff worth complaining about in any new thing, but that said I'm personally at a point where I really want to try to enjoy things for what they are, you know? There's so much conflict and horror in everyday modern life, plenty of things IRL to be upset about, and so I'm personally losing the willingness to be as critical as possible out the gate for things that are meant to bring enjoyment and escapism (video games, tv shows, movies, books, graphic novels, etc). I think a lot of it stems from personal disappointment when a new addition of a source material doesn't reflect every story note or have all the lore consistency or whatever it is that the person in question thinks it should, and honestly sometimes those errors are just so glaring it genuinely ruins the whole thing. BUT sometimes I think we get so wrapped up in what we think a thing 'should' be in our own minds that what seems like a genuine issue is actually just a personal bias that has become so strong it's getting in the way of any potential for enjoyment. That's the sort of thing I've been working with myself on, just remembering that the people who made a thing might have had different goals in doing so than I would have, and that doesn't have to make a thing inherently bad or worthy of reproach. It's also one of the reasons fandom exists, so we can explore those unanswered questions of 'what if this happened instead' and I think there's potential for that to coexist with enjoyment of the thing for what it is. Idk I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, just sort of thinking out loud, but I will say it's been a much happier existence to try to enjoy canon source material for what it is, but also take it with a grain of salt to some extent because I can literally make up whatever I want to in my head and/or in fanworks to supplement and that's really not a bad thing!! Fandoms thrive on ambiguity and space to fill in the blanks, and not so much when we get everything we want (because then, what's left for us to create?). I mean, this is coming from someone who's made elaborate headcanons, fanfics and fanart about how my main characters romanced canonically unromanceable characters in two different video games, so I know I'm weird, but I also know I'm not alone, because there are many other talented creatives who've gone out on such limbs in fandom works before (I follow several of them and you know who you are!!). There's nothing wrong with just trying to enjoy something for what it is, and nothing wrong with taking those pieces and making it your own.

nee nee I've seen that you've talked about the other DRA characters, but would you have Kinji's HC? I comment on one that I go from blog to blog and ask about the haha

His birthday hasn't come up so I've yet to post his like the others but!!! (mostly relating to au btw!!)

He knows both Italian and Japanese, although he's a bit rusty in Italian. He lives with the orphanage he helped out at when he's not at the academy so he hasn't actually seen his father for a good while but they keep in contact! He gets dragged around by the kids so often to do various activities but he doesn't mind it, keeps him on his toes and helps the caretakers out in exchange.

Kandi bracelets? rainbow-loom bracelets? he's learned to make all sorts of accessories from the kids. They might not have much but he tries to bring them smaller activities and such to help keep them occupied and happy till they eventually get adopted.... (He's donated quite a bit to the orphanage in general but says housing him is enough payment in return.)

When he's stressed he hides in a secluded area (preferably outdoors) and reads over his bible that he carries on his person. Sometimes he's reading it while not actually paying attention to it, just as a distraction to focus himself back into calming down.

Happy Birthday to me - I got myself a van I’m now 42! The answer to the ultimate question of life the universe and everything! I started off the day with reading the final four chapters of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy 'trilogy' and started 'and another thing' which I have been saving for many years for this day! When I turned 21 on may 21st I bought my first van. Now double the years later I bought my second! Got lots of bells and whistles that I am NOT used to. most luxury I had in a vehicle was power windows and locks. Now I got a heated steering wheel and 4 heated seats. It’s not brand new but its the newest thing on wheels that I’ve ever owned.
