personally i think its really obvious that pietro is in marvel dungeon because of the mcu. i mean the comics exist predominately as fodder for the mcu atp. The avengers is mostly only mcu relevant characters and he can't be in x titles anymore cause of the retcon. In that way I do think he was impacted much more then wanda since she is still mcu popular so she doesnt get shafted from most avengers stuff + like you said the magic stuff gives her more opportunities. ironic that his return is in an x-men orientated avengers book lmao. Do you have any ideas how they can keep him regularly appearing assuming he cant be in main avengers or x men books still?
Well, the obvious answer is just to put him in secondary or "adjective" Avengers books. I don't think anything is stopping Marvel from running multiple Avengers titles-- they've been doing it for years. The whole line is kind of relaunching right now, so they could do anything. And while I do agree that the M C U has a lot of undue influence on comics, it's not total. It might be hard to swing another Quicksilver solo series right now, but if writers are interested in including him in their lineups, they can find a way to make it happen.
As far as I'm aware, the current Uncanny is a miniseries, but we could see more things like it in the future-- it's looking more and more like the Krakoan era is coming to an end, and the strict boundaries between X-Men and non-X-Men titles have been loosening for a while now.
A couple other strategy ideas to boost Pietro's relevance--
Allowing the Inhumans to come back in some way would be helpful, because having Luna and/or Crystal around would create another landing place for him.
I would really like to write/read a story about Pietro and Luna for Marvel's Voices. Luna would be a great character to start a conversation about Romani heritage-- what it means to her dad, versus what it means to her as somebody that's mixed and grew up outside of the culture; why it's important for her to reconnect with that and figure out how she feels about now that she's coming of age. Obviously, that's not going to do much for Pietro's presence in ongoing comics, but I think it would be special and it would help readers understand him better.
Between Agatha and Wanda, we've been circling some interesting stuff about chaos magic, Mount Wundagore, witches and covens. If Wanda shows up for some kind of reckoning or resolution with all that, I want her to show up with her whole family, representing one of the most powerful witch lineages in the Marvel world. That could be Tommy and Pietro's way in to the magic world, and even if they don't become magical characters, you could still find a role for them to play that would allow them to stay in that orbit more often.
^ the above point would be especially relevant to Pietro if Mount Wundagore ends up being an important setting again. It's his home, just as much as it is Wanda's, and he used to be really involved with the Knights and stuff.
The main Avengers title has been global, even cosmic, in scale for a long time. I think a spin-off or side series à la Avengers West Coast with slightly more down-to-earth heroes could be a really fun companion to that. There are a lot of really fun characters that are just not being used much anymore, and Pietro is ostensibly friends with a lot of them. He fits in pretty well with the sort of team you might build around, say, Hawkeye, you know?

ACOSF is just bad fan fiction atp.
What’s funny about people trying to defend nesta and elain is that their books weren’t supposed to be written originally. It was only supposed to be just the first 3 books with little novellas. And the sisters were first written to be like the evil stepsisters from Cinderella in the first book.
So when people try to defend nesta and elain, I just laugh because they weren’t even written to go this far in the series at first. They were gonna be left in the human lands instead being turned into fae.
She should’ve left them in the human lands honestly. Feyre would be a lot happier without the emotional burden that she has to carry from her sisters.
To add onto that fan fiction, if I remember correctly, sjm said that novellas would be kinda like fan fiction because she was very happy with how she ended the first 3 books. she felt like she didn’t need to do the sisters stories because it wasn’t crucial to any plot line. She had finished the main storyline. She just wanted the little stories like special episodes on like a sitcom where they have the Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes.
Like I want a fucking novella on Rhys’ family or Lady Autumn and Helion, not the sisters stories where they try to justify the abuse towards Feyre.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
The whole point of the original trilogy was finding family and realizing your are worth being loved so why the fuck would sjm have the main character’s abusive family brought back into the story? One of the main arcs was getting rid of the insecurities and trauma those two inflected onto her but you chose to end the main trilogy with those two continuing to treat her like shit and doing the bare minimum and Feyre continuing to take care of them. And it wouldn’t have been such a problem if Maas had had them actually grow and realize what they did to Feyre was fucked up but no. Not only did you force two abusive people back into the main character’s life but you didn’t have the decency to have those people actually apologize or own up to their actions. It’s all just very mind boggling to me.
I don’t even feel bad about saying Nesta and Elain should have been left in the human lands because I know it’s something that would just make Feyre’s life better. I mean it’s not life those two actually make her happy or contribute anything positive to her life. Them being in the human lands would literally be a weight off her shoulders.
Sjm pitched the spin-offs with the sisters when she was drunk and I’m convinced she regrets it. She’s literally just writing these books for fun and not to actually further the storyline or give these characters arcs that actually make sense. Like I could have gotten an 800 page book of the Vanserras trying to overthrow each other while still trying to protect their mother but instead I got 800 pages of sex and training montages😕.

what do you think of the queen charlotte show
*deep sigh*
well.
Tumblr media
to state the obvious: i think that no one in the bridgerton fandom would have minded this show if it weren't for the shitty treatment of the bridgerton series by shondaland. some may have loved it, some may have passed on it but in either case there would have been no hard feelings.
the problem is that at this point shonda is using a show that's supposed to be about the bridgerton family for her own OG characters, while screwing over the canonical protagonists.
it's one thing to make a spin-off about an OC. it's been done before. as a matter of fact when i first watched s1 (before i read the books and waaay before the disaster of s2) i remember being intrigued by the charlotte/george scenes. but combined with what's become of the main show? where instead of focusing on the bridgerton fam (spouses included obv) and expanding on them half the screen time is about trashy plotlines of the featheringtons and queen charlotte obsessing over some gossip rag writer? where the most beloved couple received #that treatment in s2 and kate was little better than a supporting character in anthony's story? well.
plus the whole social media thing is just the production provoking fans atp. what spin-off doesn't get its own accounts for promo?! why do they call it a bridgerton story when it has nothing to do with the bridgertons and there's not even a bridgerton character in it?
with that out of the way: my honest opinion after seeing the trailers is that it's gonna be a bingeable show. unlike s3, which i honestly believe is gonna be a snoozefest outside the 5 minutes kathony, frannie and benedict get, QC has a very strong female lead in india, the chemistry with the male lead is there and arsema’s lady d and young violet will probably steal the show too. the story looks compelling enough for it to be a big success.
there's the issue of the shitty plotline of king george marrying a black woman and “uniting two societies” but ig we'll have to wait and see how that plays out. at least im glad that from what we've seen so far it seems that black people have been an established part of the aristocracy way before the george/charlotte marriage (charlotte’s brother makes a comment about them coming from a european aristocratic bloodline or something and lady danbury is a lady) so at least it won't be like. king george marrying a woman from a socially ostracized minority and that magically bringing equality to the realm. then again i may be underestimating shondaland’s ability to fuck up and i’ll be eating my words. it's happened before when it comes to bridgerton predictions and will probably happen again.
but entertainment wise it shows that it'll be good.

Idk if you've heard about RT maybe possibly coming out with a InuKagMor illustration next month, but if she does do a illustration of our beloved family, wouldn't it be halarious if she makes it to where InuKag are actually positioned to look like they are a married couple, whereas [REDACTED] didn't really look like a married couple in her art with them. If anything, it looked like Rin was the older sister to the girls, and that she and Sess were drawn in a position where their relationship could still be interpreted as neutral.
I'm just saying I think that would be so funny if InuKag was drawn in a more intimate or close position, while [REDACTED] hasn't really.
Heck, even if she just draws them HOLDING HANDS, inukag will look more like a married couple than from how she drew [REDACTED].
Oh I've heard it. Many inukaggers are so hyped up about it but personally idgas. I've adopted indifferent attitude for any kind of news related to Inuyasha series and its unwanted spin-off, so I wouldn't be disappointed nor surprised when it doesn't meet our expectation. She can draw anyone atp, really, and I wouldn't bat an eye. She wants to draw InuKagMor? Cool. She wants to draw [REDACTED] family? That's fine by me. Do whatever. Oh.. or maybe she wants to recreate the February calendar illustration?? It's not like there aren't people who ship Inuyasha with Sesshomaru, nothing is surprising honestly.
Tumblr media
But yeah I'm agree with you anon, it's hilarious as fuck 🤣🤣 Why do they never looked like a loving couple in any official arts like their fans really like to proclaim they are? Because they aren't meant to be. Periodt. Rumiko Takahashi sees them as a father-adopted kid and that should be it. Unfortunately, a fraction of the fandom consists of extremely loud people with incest and pedophilic fetish whose opinion wormed their way out all the way to former IY anime directors. That's how you get all this messed up shit. They know they took a risk with pairing these characters, plus the mangaka herself reaffirm her views on the relationships of her own characters, there's no way they could make them as openly affectionate like the main pair of IY series.

M for the ask game :)
hello babe ☺️
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
I hope this question means wips because that’s what I’m gonna talk about lol.
so I think everyone knows about a lover’s redemption and run to you because I talk about them a lot 😂 they’re the series I’m actively working on and the wips i’m most excited about 😋
after I finish all of you, I hope to write a hoseok oneshot ive been planning called after the party 😋 — best friend’s brother + fake dating AU. the summary can be read on my wips page.
there’s all these years, which has such a detailed plan and tbh it would make more sense for me to write this before atp, but I want to switch up the members 😂 idk, I’ll see.
I have a spin-off for aoy planned with namjoon x single mom!reader. it’s mentioned in aoy that namjoon isn’t the father of his wife’s first baby so the story focuses on how they meet one another (with Mi-sun playing a lil cupid 🥰) currently untitled and I have no actual plan.
I have more, some of which are on my wips page, and some that just aren’t developed enough.
ask game: send me a letter! 💫

Greatest moments of the decade: Andy Murray wins Wimbledon

Greatest moments of the decade: Andy Murray wins Wimbledon
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Andy Murray became the first British winner of the men’s singles at Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936
On 7 July 2013, Andy Murray ended Great Britain’s 77-year wait for a Wimbledon men’s singles champion. In the latest in a series recalling some of the greatest sporting moments of the decade, former BBC tennis correspondentJonathan Overend,who was commentating on the winning moment, describes what it was like to be there.
When I look back at that men’s singles final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, the top two seeds, my mind races, helplessly stuck on fast forward.
It races through the build-up, the walk-ons and the knock-up.Fast forward.
It dashes through the first game (Murray the first three points), the first set (Murray 6-4) and the second set (Murray 7-5, from 4-1 down).Fast forward.
It even swiftly spins through the third set with Murray again recovering from a break down to sensationally conjure a 5-4 lead.And pause.
Andy Murray, 26, from Dunblane in Scotland, was about to serve for the Wimbledon title after almost three hours on centre court and I think it hit us all.
“It” hit us. That very unique sporting sensation. You’ve felt it, right? The abstract sense of the imminent unknown. “It” had most definitely arrived.
What on earth was about to happen?
The noise at the changeover was incredible. Words can’t do justice to noise at great sporting venues, you need to hear it, you need to feel it. This, from the Centre Court Chorus, was a cacophony of support, elation and fear.
Archive: Murray beats Djokovic to win Wimbledon
Archive: Andy Murray column
Download: The Day We Won Wimbledon
That noise, in those 90 seconds, will never ever be heard again. So loud, so impassioned, it was like Murray was about to play the final game of his life.
I couldn’t talk in the commentary box, needing to gather my thoughts. John Lloyd and Richard Krajicek shuffled anxiously beside me. “Time!” bellowed Mohammed Layani from the umpire’s chair, playing up to his role, increasingly-exuberant calls laced with a similar sense of anticipation.
Time, indeed.
“Andy Murray of Great Britain is serving for the Wimbledon title…”
I first met Andrew Murray when he was 16 and vividly remember his first Davis Cup trip in 2004, juggling tennis balls with both feet to the amusement of Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski in a Luxembourg leisure centre. It was immediately obvious this was a story, as a journalist and commentator, you dreamed of reporting.
Things moved quickly the following year; an extraordinary Wimbledon debut, bravely qualifying and winning a round at the US Open, a first ATP tour final in Bangkok, a victory over Henman in Basle to become British number one. Yet domestic dominance was of no interest. He wanted to take on the world and we witnessed, as we started to get to know him, that incredibly single-minded ambition first hand.
With a small bunch of the British media following his every turn, the story was building. The ranking climbed, attention grew, pressure intensified. At times it was tricky to tell the story from the frontline because we could see his faults – and with every defeat came analysis of the faults – yet we could see they were far outweighed by his strengths.
We knew this was a story of lifetime. There were ups and downs in the player/journalist relationship but one desire remained constant; to tell this story through to a logical conclusion.
And that conclusion was the Wimbledon title.
So here we are, back on Centre Court. Gone 5pm. The noise, the nerves, the moment. Serving for the title. The sun still raking down.
Murray wins the first three points only to lose the next three. Fizzing anticipation almost blows, but not quite.
They were match points, by the way, championship points, history points.
40-15, 40-30, deuce, advantage Djokovic. Four points in a row. Djokovic thought he had him. Sneaky grin. Bond villain time.
A ridiculous sequence of see-sawing ensued.
The deuce points were fine, pressure off. Even the break points for Djokovic were manageable. Murray played some of his finest tennis at those key moments. Joy and relief all round.
We were all feeling it. As a commentator, you’re neutral. But I was willing him over the line because, like everyone else, I knew this was it. He had to win it here.
Andy Murray climbed into the players’ box to celebrate with his mother Judy
The hardest point to win is the last, so the maxim goes, and I firmly believe the closest Murray came to defeat was when he lost a third match point.
Imagine, just imagine how that must have felt. On the brink of victory yet also the brink of defeat. Make no mistake that’s where he was.
Match points lost, mind racing, body rushing, arm shaking. His racket arm literally shaking before his sweat-masked eyes, the peak of his baseball cap protecting him from the glare of 16 million people, one serve from greatness.
And that’s why this story is such a compelling one, the achievement so great. Not so much the history, the 77 years, the ghost of Fred Perry. Very simply how, Andy Murray – how on earth – did you win that match in that insanely frazzling situation?
After a nerve-defying serve to the Djokovic backhand, the ball flew up defensively and the crowd gasped collectively. Some yelped, as if stung. “Here it is, here it is” I remember saying. “Murray forehand, Djokovic backhand… into the net! Murray’s the Wimbledon champion!” It was such a relief to utter those words.
Breathe.
Ever the dull professional journalist, I’d only ever shaken Murray’s hand after victory. Even after his first Grand Slam title at the US Open 10 months earlier. “Well done, congratulations.”
Not this time. There was delirium tinged with disbelief behind the scenes. The champion emerged around a corridor corner in a white tracksuit, looking ready for sets four and five.
“Do I get a hug for that?” he said with his usual sarcastic drawl. Sure thing. He then insisted on holding my microphone for a photograph. It wasn’t plugged in, he wanted to hold it anyway. We were all a bit doolally by that stage.
Murray won Wimbledon again, in 2016, but nothing will ever pierce our emotions in the same way as that day.
I suppose if he were to do it a third time, with a metal hip, having recovered from multiple near-career-ending surgeries, I’ll revise my judgement. He’s such an incredible human, anything’s possible.
But even then, would it surpass the first time? That time?
Sunday, 7 July 2013 will be forever etched in British sporting history. The day of the decade, perhaps, and for men’s tennis the day of seven decades, plus.
It was the day we all bonded over a dream and a celebrated together as a nation. The day sport truly touched our souls. The day we all felt like winners.
Murray’s win in 2013 was the first of two Wimbledon titles, the second coming in 2016

Loss Of Control: Spins Or Spirals?
All of us want to keep our friends alive, and the newest safety initiative uses the moniker of “loss of control (LOC).” The popular belief is that LOC is synonymous with stall/spin, and the popular panacea is visual angle of attack indicators. But, in fact, low-speed spirals (different from high-speed spirals taught as part of instrument training) can masquerade as and be as vicious as inadvertent spins. Here’s the story of how this was discovered.
Three years ago, the Experimental Aircraft Association announced the Founder’s Innovation Prize with a goal of reducing LOC accidents by 50 percent over 10 years, I, like nearly 200 others, started thinking of how to win (and spend) the $25,000 first prize.
Are you an aviation enthusiast or pilot? Sign up for our newsletter, full of tips, reviews and more!
Maybe half of that first year’s submissions were about ways to measure or indicate angle of attack, but I started with exhaustive research, including a tedious and brain-numbing analysis of 551 NTSB reports on RV-series experimental, amateur-built aircraft events. Sure, stall/spin accidents were prominent among the fatalities, but there were interesting observations along the way. For example, in the NTSB reports, the reported phase of flight was often irrelevant to the event, inconsistent with the narrative or missing. And one prominent alphabet organization considered flying into wires when buzzing to be a loss of control. In other words, the data and the reports could not be taken at face value.
Also interesting were some of the accident mechanisms. In nearly half of the runway excursions (off the side of the runway on landing), the approach was in trouble longitudinally (bounces, approach angle, etc.) before the airplane departed the runway. This observation eventually evolved into the observation that the motor skills of controlling the airplane are four: pitch, power, roll and yaw. My current working definition of LOC is the failure of the pilot, for whatever reason, to adequately and simultaneously control all four.
But why does LOC occur? IMSAFE, distractions, task saturation and similar are obvious suspects. Noted general aviation safety analyst Ron Wanttaja distinguishes between failures in pilot judgment and in skills.
Dr. Bill Rhodes has started many of his safety talks by asking for a show of hands of how many in the audience lost a friend in a small plane crash, and then how many were not surprised that the pilot killed himself. Typically, half the audience was not surprised. The takeaways are that the goal of a 50 percent reduction in LOC accidents is unrealistic and that general aviation safety is much more of a marketing issue than it is a technical issue.
But the four-motor-task definition of LOC and the marketing observation led to the current thinking: the most feasible way to reduce LOC accidents is to improve pilots’ flying skills, and the way to do this is by making those skills fun, rewarding and challenging to acquire. After all, nobody thinks that the FAA’s Five Hazardous Attitudes apply to them.
Frustrated and highly motivated by failing to even make the finals of the EAA contest in the first three attempts, I dove into finding rewarding and challenging ways to improve pilot skills. Like others, I’d observed that over the decades that pilot and CFI skills and knowledge have declined and that current training focuses on high proficiency in the middle of the envelope, where accidents don’t occur. And the newest Airman Certification Standards eschew stalls, apparently preferring that a pilot first sees an actual stall break with a plane full of passengers, not safely at altitude with a CFI.
Another untoward but fortuitous circumstance was that I’ve had three spinal surgeries in the past five years, and the mere mention of the word “aerobatics” distorts the surgeon’s face. So instead of looking at upset training and spins, aerial maneuvers that would require more than 2Gs or more than 60° of bank, I started looking at exercises that could be done in just about any plane, such as a Cessna 172 or my non-aerobatic RV-9A.
These Expanded Envelope Exercises (3E) differ from maneuvers in that they don’t necessarily have completion standards, but, rather, their purpose is to expand the pilot’s comfort zone so that the pilot can handle an imminent LOC situation as not a big deal, rather than panicking or freezing at the controls. Each exercise exposes the pilot to some combination of a highly dynamic flight situation, new kinesthetic sensations and very high workload—ingredients that can overwhelm a pilot and lead to LOC.
While all of the exercises so far have proven easy enough to perform on the first or second try, they are unusual enough that they should only be attempted with a CFI who has seen these exercises before. I almost found this out myself the hard way.
One exercise involved steep turns at low airspeeds. (Lest I tempt anybody to go out and try something over their head, I won’t be any more specific in the description). I’d done this without a hint of a problem in the RV-9A, but then one subject pilot botched the maneuver, and we were very quickly in a steep spiral. Before we could complete the “my airplane, your airplane, my airplane” positive change of controls ritual, the airplane was at 80° of bank and 30° nose down—pretty exciting! And even though I’ve taught basic aerobatics, I was overwhelmed by a windshield full of Georgia marshes coming up at me.
The flight data downloaded from the Garmin G3X Touch system indicated that we were in a genuine spiral, and despite my fairly prompt recovery, we lost almost 400 feet. Had this happened turning base to final, every accident investigator in the world would have classified it as a stall/spin. And, depending upon the circumstances, the impact signature of a spiral and of a spin may be indistinguishable. This event also suggests that many historical stall/spin accidents may have been misclassified!
In the figure above, each line of data was recorded one second apart. Recovery was initiated at the green line, five seconds in. The orange cells are maximum values achieved. Looking at each column in turn:
The highest angle of attack before the recovery was 0.36, well below the stall angle of attack, 1.0;
Airspeed started at 66 knots, final approach speed. Recovery never went above 99 knots, a few knots below Va;
The target bank angle was 60°, but the subject pilot inadvertently let the bank get to 80°. Note that the surprised safety pilot did not remove all of the bank angle before starting the nose up;
The airplane achieved 30° nose down before recovery was initiated, enough to startle the safety pilot;
G forces were nominal and low. Even during recovery, G forces were moderate;
Recovery started after losing 58 feet of altitude, but recovery required an additional 332 feet, for a total altitude loss of nearly 400 feet;
Vertical speed reached an impressive 4,000 feet/minute down.
Part of my research included looking for stall/spin videos on the web. I found two that were definitely spins, but what’s really interesting is that both of those spins were entered when the plane was already out of control in a steeply banked, nose-down attitude, similar to a well-developed spiral. In other words, inability to recognize and recover from a spiral resulted in the spin.
The research, the botched low-speed-turn digital flight data and especially 3E may help general aviation turn a corner to a better LOC rate, especially as those with more knowledge and experience than I start to contribute:
While this first result and the digital flight data are incontrovertible, there’s still more work to be done on low-speed spirals, including recognition and recovery. A reasonable expected outcome is that low-speed spirals be taught as part of the sport pilot and private pilot curricula, just as stalls are;
3E is a natural candidate for the Wings Program, and I’ve used it very successfully on Flight Reviews. 3E should be done early in a pilot’s career, preferably before transitioning to a new airplane type;
3E is now being explored and developed at Utah Valley University, where the name 3E was conceived. They’re exploring it initially with their CFIs. Hopefully, other organizations will join in to develop 3E, for there are many styles of flying, and just one style of 3E won’t work everywhere, for everybody;
AOA gadgets and add-ons are not a panacea for LOC. This was recognized way back in 1925, 93 years ago, when Louis Bramson Mogens wrote in his patent application that “visual or audible signals cannot be regarded as satisfactory in all circumstances for the reason that they may escape the attention of the pilot at the critical moment and in either case they must be interpreted by the pilot and translated into action of some kind to correct the condition of the machine to which his attention has been directed.”
Would I like to win the $25,000 prize next year? Of course! Both my ego and bank account encourage me to keep trying. But regardless of any contest results or who gets the credit, the work must continue, as the more important goal is keeping our friends alive.
Ed Wischmeyer, ATP/CFII, has flown well over 150 makes and models of general aviation aircraft and published hundreds of pilot reports, articles and columns. His Ph.D. is from MIT.

#452 Rahul equals record with 7th consecutive test fifty; Dhawan’s 6th century and 188 opening stand gives India early momentum; Lanka fight back in last 2 sessions; Matsyuma’s 7 under score of 64 ties him with Kisner as leader in US PGA championship; Rogers cup SF has GEN GAP kind of SF match up; Fedex still the one to beat though; EPL starts with 7 goal thriller which Arsenal won ; Chelsea shocking lose 2-3 to Burnley and more...:-)

India won the toss for 3rd consecutive time in Lanka. India without hesitation decided to bat. India had only 1 change. Kuldeep replaced Jadeja who was suspended for a match. India started with a bang with as many as 59 runs scored in first 11 overs. Lankan opening bowlers sprayed all over the place. Chandimal didnt have any choice but to bring Karynaratne within 10 overs. Bringing part time inside 10 overs showed how oor Lankan bowlers have been in this series. Lanka introduced Dilruwan and Sandakan post that. They got some spin but Rahul and Dhawan were untroubled. Both completed fifties with ease. They were hardly troubled. Dhawan was dropped in slip which was his only chance. Rahul was dropped at mid off of Sandakan which was catchable. Lanka were made to pay for that. India reached lunch at 134-0 which showed how Indian openers had deflated Lankan bowlers confidence. Post lunch also, things started moving at good pace for India. Rahul reached his 7th consecutive fifty which equalled record. Just when it looked like he would be able to convert them to a century, He got dismissed to Pushpakumara . Pushpakumara was not introduced till then. He then later dismissed Dhawan . Dhawan made his 6th century , off which 3 had come in Lanka. Indian openers had 188 run stand in 40 overs. Batting was made easy. Post Dhawan's dismissal, India struggled. Pujara and Rahane were dismsised for not much. India were reduced to 264-4. Kohli tried to resurrect. He fought hard but missed fifty by 8 runs as he tried chasing Sandakan's wide delivery and was caught at slip. Lanka then dismissed Ashwin just before close. So from 188-0, India were reduced to 329-6. Lanka finally showed some fight while bowling. India would struggle to reach 400. Saha and Pandya need to play out of their skins to reach there in a picth which is spinning square already. But it is a slow pitch. driving should be within V. Driving towards cover and playing against the spin would be tough. Saha likes to make runs in such pitch.Hopefully he would stand up on day 2.

In Rogers cup, it was business as usual for Federer. He dismissed Bautista with authority in straight sets. He has not lost a set to Bautista in all meetings so far. He would now meet Hasse in all 30 + aged players SF. In other half of the draw it is a contrast. 18 year Shapovalov who had shocked Nadal Mannarino in another 3 set thriller. He would clash with 20 year old Zverev who is on a winning spree. He outclassed AAnderson in tense 2 setter. Zverev vs Federer would be a good final but why one is getting a feeling that Federer would win SF and final without dropping a set???? Thats because Swiss champ is in his zone where other ATP players are not able to reach.

EPL started on 11-Aug with a 7 goal thriller. Arsenal opened the count in very 2nd minute thanks to Lacazette's goal. Cant recall any EPL where first goal was scored inside 2 minutes !! Leicester city were upto the task as they levelled 3 minutes later thanks to brilliant goal by Okazaki . They then took lead thanks to goal by Vardy. Just when it looked like they would take lead to half way stage, Arnsenal equallised in extra time just before interval. Post that Vardy gave Leicester 3-2 lead at 56th minute. Last 25 minutes was thrilling as Arsenal took the attack to City to win the match 4-3. In other matches, Watford levelled with Liverpool 3-3. Chelsea who are defending champions had a shocking start. Mourinho would hardly had imagined that Burnley would trouble them. It all staretd with red card for Cahill in 14th minute. Post that Burnley scored 3 goals between 24th to 43rd minute. Vokes hit 2 and Ward hit 1. 3-0 lead for Burnley at half way was pretty shocking for the blues. Post break Chelsea came with the spirit they playe din 2016-17 season. They defended better. Morata reduced the lead for Burnley to 2 goals. There was more drama as Chelsea were erduced to 9 men as Fabregas was sent out as well. Luiz added further drama with brilliant goal to make it 3-2. It looked like 9 or 10 men Chelsea were better than 11 !!!. Burnley somehow kept focus in last few minutes and luck was in their end as well. Chelsea lost their opening encounter 2-3. First shocking result of EPL is right on 2nd day. West Brom and Everton won their matches 1-0.

In US PGA championship, Kisner had another round of 67 to lead at end of round 2 with a score of 8 under. He played flawless golf in conditions which was a bit windy. Matsyuma who is new world number 3 and who had scored a 61 two weeks back in final round to win WGC bridgestone started slowly in round 1 with a 70. But 7 under score of 64 in 2nd round took him to tie of leaderboard with Kisner. He scored 6 birdies, 1 eagle and 1 bogey. His back nine was specatular as he hit 5 birdies. He would be serious contender to become 2nd asian player to win a major. Former US Pga champ and world number 1 Jason Day had a brilliant 66 to stay just 1 beghind leaders. Stroud was 2 behind and Molinari and Oosthuizen were 3 behind leaders. Its a packed top leaderboard. Garcia missed the cut and so did Mickelson. Mcolroy had a another mixed day and is 10 shots off the leader. Anirban Lahiri made the cut with a 72.

The Future of cell Gambling Apps The Future of Gambling Apps for cellular Phones
To say that cell gaming will Now not affect the web Gambling enterprise over the following 5 years could be a large understatement.
even though the majority probably discover the idea of playing real Cash Playing video games on a mobile device, the truth is that it’s exactly Wherein each Playing operators and the marketplace in standard is shifting to.
The handiest reason why cellular Playing wasn’t famous some years ago was because the technology did not exist.
However, now that Apple have delivered clever Phones consisting of the iPhone and puncture the crux of the commercial marketplace with it, having a clever cell phone with large Contact screens able to video gaming is the standard aspect.
In truth, Sony and Nintendo are already worried about the boom and technological development of cellular gadgets, because they’re already coming close to changing cellular gaming systems consisting of the PSP and Future NGP (Sony’s next Generator Platform) altogether.
In terms of Wherein, I see cell Playing going, you simplest ought to take a look at the present market and online casino operators to peer that it’s miles already taking off. both 32Red and All Slots casino have developed iPhone online casino Apps for gamers.
even though there are infrequently some other iPhone casino Apps available, it’s far most effective a be counted of time. Betfair and Ladbrokes are apparently already making plans two more iPhone Gambling Apps to move alongside their Sports activities betting Apps. With 40% growth in mobile turnover in 2009, Betfair’s iPhone App will possibly cause extra than a 70% growth in cellular betting turnover in 2011.
Interestingly, one of the problems of growing a cellular app is that the investment involved in developing specific manufactured Telephones and software program is a large hazard given that the product is probably much less popular in a yr’s time. For example, the Google Android working device has already changed the iPhone’s supremacy since it now has a 25% share of the market. The primary benefit of Android software program is that it may be used across distinct mobile cellphone manufacturers along with Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and Nokia. Consequently, we are able to inevitably see more humans relying on the Android software than iPhone as soon as the inertia breaks in and all enough Android apps are expand to compete with the Apple App save.
