obviously i already liked them from s6 but seeing them in s1 has only cemented it. even sa laoshi doing everything he can to sail the sa/ou ship has nothing on shuang bei. like. not only are they out here casually sharing a braincell but also the high fiving? the hugging? so great. especially since you don’t usually get to see people being that physically comfortable around each other on chinese tv

personal highlight eps: pilot and 1998 case (mainly for he and sa laoshi respectively), hospital case (most galaxy brained ep in s1 imo), football case (for the hilarity of everyone apparently being actually drunk), titanic case (vaguely unhinged fun and also pretty galaxy brained)
