I just remembered that in my sekai unit swap au I made 25ji leo-need god Ena and Mafuyu meeting as kids sounds like such a disaster
#rat rambles#sekai posting#not gotta come up with any concrete ideas yet since I worry I dont know enough abt them but still#I have a very specific image in my mind of what child ena would be like but idk if thats something established in canon in any way 😔#but yeah I cant imagine her not being a very angry bitter child tbh (well like more strongly so than present day ena anyways)#so like in my head its just like 9 year old ena accidentally sending lil mafuyu down a spiral over not being able to please ena#and also maybe ena accidentally triggering mafuyu's whole identity crisis like way earlier than it happened in canon djdndjfb#just like achievement unlocked! have a violent identity crists at 10 years old#I actually do think itd be interesting to explore that idea of mafuyu having her identity crisis earlier in life cause I feel like thatd#probably change how she manages with it quite a bit#like on one hand shed be yknow a child but on the other shed probably have a lot more room to actually try to break off from who she was#I feel like shed still be a fucking mess but like. a different kind of mess maybe#idk Im getting ahead of myself but au brainstorming is fun
