About the idea of making MC worse...

For some reason, I have gotten a lot of Hannibal (and therefore, Hannigram) posts on my feed. I don't know why, since I've never seen the show. However, I do find the idea of homoerotic cannibalism, and the possible metaphors for obsession and gay love quite interesting to think about.

Problem is, because of the nature of this game, I don't see a way to make MC and an RO (in my case, since this is about being gay, it has to be with either Imre or Lorcan) being able to partake. Lorcan has many issues, but he is not going there unless someone broke him so utterly he is not himself anymore. And Imre may be interested in role-playing as it, perhaps (I'm not sure). But I don't see him actually doing it, simply because he is too focused on the murder investigation and has the desire to see himself as the hero. Now, could he be delusional enough to see himself as such and also partake in gay cannibalism? Sure, but it would be only after a severe negative character arc I don't really believe you are going to go for.

So, if anything, the whole idea is more for the realm of fanfiction and maybe fanart. Just, maybe, way of including the idea more in lines with having a conversation with your IF rather than expecting its inclusion.

The question left, I guess, is if MC would be capable of doing it. And, so far, I don't think so. I think MC as someone who wouldn't do it out of his own volition, but rather if someone made him do it. And, as established, neither Imre nor Lorcan would ever go for it. Lorcan especially I think would be too disturbed by the idea to do it even as simply acting. But I don't know, maybe I have misunderstood both of them. After all, Imre is charismatic enough I see him capable of convincing people to do it or to be taken to be cooked as a meal. The problem is not on his capacities, but his morals. Yet, so far, what do we truly know about them? Not much...
