Haven't seen this pointed out yet but do you know what you can do if you run out of shows to watch? Read a book.
Do you know where you can get free books (and movies, audiobooks, and cds)? Public libraries.
Do you know what is currently under attack by many parts of our government and could really use your support? Public libraries.

k first of all , 5 years is a good start but let's absolutely make it more LMAO like holy crap I don't usually get political on this blog (for good reason, it's just a fandom blog) but man, if THIS is what it takes Musk and Rowling to shut the fuck up, I'm all here for it.
Second of all, I was really hoping this would be the case because - I AM NOT A LAWYER - I feel like there's an even bigger case that could be made in Imane's favor as an Olympian representing Algeria.
Like, y'all... Imane isn't just some random woman. The Olympics aren't just about sports and entertainment. The whole essence of the modern Olympics is meant to be a celebration of exceptional athletes and their cultures and countries around the world, coming together to participate in friendly competition. It's also an opportunity for these countries to make a shitload of money from a massively profitable event.
Outside of the money, though, even just qualifying for the Olympics - before you factor in any potential medals to win - is an extremely high honor that is taken very seriously by both the athletes, their coaches, and their respective governments of the countries where they hail from, and much of this DOES come down to politics. This sort of means that the athletes sent in to compete aren't just random people who are REALLY GOOD at their respective sport, but COULD be argued and defended as diplomats representing an entire country and its culture.
This is all with the hope that these athletes will put on a good show, represent the best of what their country has to offer, and - if all goes well - bring home proof of that representation in the form of a medal, which many athletes are additionally rewarded for by their countries when they return home.
Imane Khelif isn't just some 'random' woman who's good at boxing, she's an Olympian athlete recognized by the IOC as such and sent to the Olympics to represent Algeria as both a country and a political entity.
J.K. Rowling and Musk aren't just 'random' chronically online Internet randos punching at the air on Twitter. They are two globally-recognized chronically online billionaires who use their wealth to fund and propel their own political platforms and control shares of their respective industries.
And they used that power to create hate mobs rooted in blatant misinformation and bigotry-motivated delusion to specifically target an Olympic competitor who would go on to win gold for her country.
I'm not a lawyer, but this feels like something that should go far beyond a personal case of defamation and cyberbullying and into a case of deliberate abuse of political power towards a political entity.
I know Rowling and Musk will each pull their own cartoon villain stunts to keep themselves out of jail, but I am PRAYING that this kills two birds with one stone, not just out of wanting to see justice for Khelif, but to send a message that billionaires like Rowling and Musk are not above the law and should not be exempt from the consequences of their actions simply because they are billionaires.

[Sakyo Furuichi] Sake Cup Among Chrysanthemums SSR โ€” Backstage โ€” Super Lucky Entertainment โ€” Part 1
Tumblr media
Are you talking about... the plan to teach kids about games from the old times?
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3
Translation under the cut
Tumblr media
Izumi: (Oh, no...! It's so late...!)
Izumi: (I was helping out at an acquaintance's troupe and I got late for our plan.)
Izumi: Everyone must already be here...!
Tumblr media
Homare: Sob...waaaah...Ran away from my lover...Saddled in debt...The glory of the past is over...After all, there's nothing left...
Izumi: Whoa! Homare-san...?
Azuma: You're late, Director. Good work today.
Itaru: GG.
Kazunari: We're over here โ˜†
Izumi: Sorry I'm late. I just planned to help out a little, but it was harder work than I thought...
Chikage: Well, you never do anything half-heartedly, so I know you couldn't just leave.
Guy: You're quite serious, after all.
Sakyo: Still, don't push yourself too hard.
Izumi: Ahaha...sorry. Ah! That reminds me, Sakyo-san, what old-time game did you decide on?
Guy: Are you talking about... the plan to teach kids about games from the old times?
Izumi: Yes, that's the one! I thought Sakyo-san hadn't decided yet, so.
Sakyo: Yeah, I still have no idea what to choose...
Sakyo: Well, I know how to play each of those games, so I don't mind taking whatever's left over.
Izumi: I see...Still, though, if there's any that you want, please tell me!
Sakyo: Yeah, if that happens.
Izumi: That said, Homare-san is drunk a lot sooner than usual.
Sakyo: He's been at this for a while.
Izumi: "The Game of Strife"...?
Guy: Citronia has been quite into it for some reason...
Citron: I don't plan to lose at this.
Izumi: Citron-kun really is good at things like this.
Azuma: Well, more than the Prince being good...
Sakyo: Arisugawa is just bad at it.
Kazunari: He's been taking a shot every time he lands on a bad space~.
Hisoka: He sucks at both drinking and games...
Homare: Again! It happened again! Th- this is...the Arisugawa family is falling apart!
Banri: Nah, it already has.
Chikage: Since you're here, Director, do you want to join in?
Izumi: Okay. I won't lose, though!
Kazunari: Ah!
Kazunari: Wait a sec! I have something neat โ™ช Ta-daaah! It's my own handmade board game โ˜†
Sakyo: Why do you have something like that?
Kazunari: I reeeally wanted to play one with the Summer Troupe, so I made it at uni.
Kazunari: So, since I came straight to the bar from uni, I brought it with me. And since I can ask for y'all's opinions, it's like killing two birds with one stone, right?
Citron: Kazu's handmade board game looks fun!
Azuma: In that case, why don't we change up who's playing?
Azuma: Sakyo-kun couldn't play The Game of Strife just now...so wouldn't it be nice to have him join in?
Sakyo: Why me...
[Choice 1: You should join, Sakyo-san!]
Izumi: You should join, Sakyo-san!
Sakyo: I'm fine just watching.
Izumi: But it'll be so much more fun to play together.
Sakyo: I said I'm fine...
Izumi: So you won't play with me?
Sakyo: ...Tsk, guess I don't have a choice.
Azuma: ...
Sakyo: What are you laughing at?
Azuma: Nothing.
Sakyo: Sigh...
[Choice 1 end]
[Choice 2: Do you not like board games?]
Izumi: Do you not like board games?
Sakyo: It's not like I dislike them, but...
Izumi: Then let's play together!
Sakyo: It's not like I like them, either.
Izumi: I do, though, so please join me!
Sakyo: ...
Izumi: Is that not gonna work?
Sakyo: Sigh... well, if you're so insistent, I guess I can join you.
[Choice 2 end]
Banri: The old man's soft.
Itaru: Shh. He'll hear you.
Sakyo: I heard you.
Banri: Woah...He's got crazy good ears.
Chikage: Haha. You can't badmouth him right in front of him.
Kazunari: Okay, okay, let's start โ˜†

DISCLAIMER: HUGE, LONG RANT AHEAD!
ALSO SPOILERS IN CASE YOU'RE NOT UP TO DATE WITH THE MANGA OR WITH ZERO THE ENFORCER!
Soo in case you missed it, Gosho released the SDB Justice Plus some time last month:
Tumblr media
The biggest shocker was the answer to Question number 4, shown below:
Tumblr media
Basically this translates to:
Q4: On the Mystery Train, he (Amuro) said to Miyano Shiho that โ€œMy comrades who are tracking us have made arrangements in order to retrieve youโ€, but were those comrades from PSB? If thatโ€™s the case, Iโ€™m curious about how he planned to deceive Vermouth...!
A: Those were comrades from the Black Organization, so there was no need to deceive them.
Ummmm...what??
Tumblr media
Idk about y'all but when I read this, I was livid. It didnโ€™t make any sense to me. And quite frankly, I didn't want it to. Maybe because I am one of those (very rare) people who thought Rei and Shiho could eventually end up together (Don't laugh, it would have made sense, and I'll write about that in a separate post).
Anywho, safe to say Gosho's latest confession left me in absolute confusion. Like why? Just why? Then I realised I'm more butt-hurt about this because I was fixated on a certain idea of Rei's character and chose to ignore his other sides, as if they didn't exist. It didn't help that his past is so freaking depressing which got me sympathizing with his character and led me to either ignore or make excuses for any red flags.
But now that I think about it, it sadly makes sense. It also explains why he didn't show any sadness or regret when he saw Shiho supposedly โ€˜dieโ€™ in the luggage cart in the Bell Tree Train Arc.
Now to let me wrap my head around this, I needed to breakdown his three "faces":
1. Amuro Tooru is a cheerful, friendly, generous, carefree, outgoing man.
2. Furuya Rei is a serious, law-abiding, calculating, patriotic police officer who is willing to die for Japan's security.
3. And Bourbon is a devious, manipulative, cunning, deadly agent.
Yet, ever since we found out he was in fact an NPA agent, we (or at least I), seem to have forgotten about those dark sides he possesses. Also with Zero's tea time showing us a softer side of his character it was easy to get caught up in "he's 100% one of the god guys" when in fact, he's a complex, grey character.ย
He has shown on multiple occasions, just how far he is willing to go, to achieve whatever goal heโ€™s set his mind on. Let's not forget how in Zero the Enforcer, he completely flipped the switch. (I know this isn't Canon but...) The man went as far as to create a suspect and jail the innocent Mori Kogoro so he can legally investigate the case and emotionally manipulate Conan into unkowningly help with the investigation.
Tumblr media
Also, in the Detective Nocturneโ€™s case he deliberately didnโ€™t tell Ran as soon as he noticed Conan might have been kidnapped by the criminal because he hadnโ€™t finished investigating the apartment.
Tumblr media
And in the Scarlet Arc, he was willing to harm Jodie's teacher friend, so he can lure out the FBI and advance his investigation on Akaiโ€™s death. Letโ€™s not forget once he figured out the truth, he was willing to expose Akaiโ€™s fake death (which I get it he's out for revenge), but by doing so, he would have also gotten Kir killed (even though I'm pretty sure he knew at that point, she was in fact a NOC).
As we can see, be it Bourbon, Furuya Rei orย  Amuro Toru, he will stop at nothing to reach his goals, even if it means throwing innocent people under the bus. So, now when Gosho says his "partners" were in fact BO members and not the PSB, I'm no longer surprised.
I mean, why wouldnโ€™t he sell Shiho back to the organisation? Because he knew she was Senseiโ€™s daughter, and that should have meant something to him? Alright, letโ€™s talk about that.
Did he love Shihoโ€™s mum? Yes, he did, thereโ€™s no doubt about that (one of the reasons he joined the joined the police in the first place was to find her, so you can't convince me otherwise).
Tumblr media
But what if he loved Japan even more? (It's not canon, but he did say in Zero the Enforcer that the safety of this country matters most to him, even if it means heโ€™d end up paying with his own life).
Tumblr media
So, I'm going to take a wild guess as to how he could have felt when he found out the woman he loved as his own mother, willingly joined the deadly organisation that threatened the safety of his country. Based on his memories, he remembered her encouraging her husband to join the Carasuma group.
Tumblr media
So, if through his investigations, he was able to realise she is the same woman from his childhood, Iโ€™m pretty sure he would have been very disappointed.ย  Iโ€™m not sure the extent of his knowledge about the drug, but if he also found out their research created the poisonous APTX-4869, I reckon it would be more reason for him to be upset.
Now let's talk about Haibara/Shiho. To any outsider who's unaware of the truth of her past, she is a woman born into the organisation, then was groomed and taught from a young age by the syndicate and promoted to take on their research. A research that produced a poisonous drug, just like her parents did. Also, she only ran away after the organisation killed her sister. Before that, she was a high-ranking member. With all these facts, why would he think of her as anything but a criminal just like the rest of the BO members? Itโ€™d be rather foolish for him to not hand her back to the organisation just because she is the daughter of the woman he once thought so highly of. If anything, heโ€™d be killing two birds with one stone, by executing a criminal, while also gaining higher standing in the organisation.
As fans of Haibara, we are rightfully upset by his intentions of returning her to the organisation because we know her truth. He doesn't. It wasn't until we learnt more about her painful past and kind and caring nature that we grew to love her. We know she never wanted to create a poisonous drug. That she already hated the organisation for using the drug as a poison. That she had to develop the drug to protect Akemiโ€™s life.
Tumblr media
There is no way Rei would have known about any of the bullying she or her family faced from the BO. By nature, Shiho is very secretive and reserved and very little of her personality or history would have been known by any of the BO members (except maybe Gin). Therefore, apart from the files the BO would have kept on Shiho and her role in the organisation, thatโ€™s all Rei had to learn about her. So, I canโ€™t really blame him for choosing to hand her back to the organisation.
Some people who are still in denial, argue that if he planned to kill Shiho, why was he willing to kill whom he thought was Vermouth instead of handing her over?
Tumblr media
Shouldnโ€™t that prove he was going to take Shiho to safety to the PSB, not the BO? Before Gosho's statement, I would have agreed but now...sigh. Now, I get why he did that. If Shiho were to die BEFORE she was returned to the organisation, he wouldnโ€™t have gained the trust he was seeking. If she were to die AFTER he delivered her, I highly doubt it would have mattered to him. Although I'm still hoping he maybe he had a plan of not leaving her in the organisation's clutches after "handing her back" and he never truly intended on getting her killed. But since Gosho also said there was no need to deceive Vermouth, I highly doubt it. (Heart breaking).
After such an explanation, does everything make more sense now? Maybe. Am I ok with it? Hell no! Iโ€™m quite angry and annoyed that this is how things turned out to be, but it is what it is. We have to accept that Rei is not a good character, and he's not a bad character. He's a grey character and when you think of it that way, it's easier to understand his behaviour. Not that I agree with it. After Gosho's statement, I think pretty sure Rei is in dire need of some character development. He could stand to learn a thing or two from Conan who manages to reach his goals while preserving as many lives as possible (Akai's fake death being the burst example while managing to drive Kir back to the BO).
For now, Iโ€™m looking forward to the developments that will entail. Iโ€™m curious to see how Rei and Haibara will react once they eventually meet each other. It'll be interesting to see what will go through his mind once he figures out her true identity. One thing I'm sure of is once they're introduced to each other, emotions will be running high and things will get intense. Which honestly, I can't wait for and I'm counting down the days till I get a proper Amuro/Haibara interaction.

The artistry ๐ŸŽจ in direction, the creativityin ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ production ๐ŸŽฅ , the cinematography ๐Ÿฟ , those fireworks ๐ŸŽ‡ ... that gorgeous ๐Ÿ”ฎ bird ๐Ÿฆ… costume on probably the most stunningly โœจ beautiful ๐ŸŒŸ woman ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป I think I've ever seen ๐Ÿ‘€ ... The ballet ๐Ÿฉฐ dancers ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ ... Wow ๐Ÿคฉ! I've watched ๐Ÿ‘€ this๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป prob a hundred ๐Ÿ’ฏ times โฐ but it will never ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ get boring ๐Ÿ˜‘ . I can't ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ take my eyes ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ off the screen ๐Ÿ“บ for one โ˜๐Ÿป second โฐ of those 34 minutes ๐Ÿ•ฐ . I ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ love โค๏ธ all of Kanye's ๐Ÿ‘‘ work, and it is purely ๐Ÿ’ฆ impossible๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ to pick a favourite โค๏ธ , but ๐Ÿ‘ if I could only ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธever listen to โœŒ๐Ÿผtwo โœŒ๐Ÿผsongs ๐ŸŽต for the rest of my time ๐Ÿ•ฐ here on earth ๐ŸŒ - it would no ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ question โ“ be Ghost ๐Ÿ‘ป Town ๐ŸŒƒ and- Runaway ๐Ÿƒ . I cannotโŒ listen ๐Ÿ‘‚ to runaway ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ without feeling triumphant ๐Ÿ† for some reason, lol ๐Ÿ˜†. Makes me laugh ๐Ÿ˜‚ , makes me cry ๐Ÿ˜ข, makes me appreciate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ the beauty ๐Ÿ’‹ in every other human ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿฟ being at once โ˜๐Ÿป with feeling my own. ๐Ÿฆพ For one โ˜๐Ÿป song ๐ŸŽผ to ignite ๐Ÿงจ that many ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™‚emotions๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜’in me just feels incredible๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฅณ. And inspiring ๐Ÿ˜ฑ, and enchanted ๐Ÿ’ซ. Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ West ๐Ÿงญ , as an artist ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ AND as a human ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพbeing, in my ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ very humble ๐Ÿ˜Œopinion- has harnessed some ๐Ÿค” sort of power ๐Ÿ—ฃ to captivate ๐Ÿ˜ณ people ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป educate ๐Ÿซ and enlighten ๐Ÿง  them- whether it means entrancing them ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป with his artistry ๐ŸŽจ , speaking ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ truths ๐Ÿ’ฏ that people๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป need to hear ๐Ÿ‘‚ but don't always ๐Ÿ˜’ want to, and not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ giving a fuck what anybody๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ thinks ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ about... While still wishing ๐ŸŒŸ them ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ the best ๐Ÿ‘ผ & respecting ๐Ÿ‘ฅ their freedom ๐Ÿ•Š to disagree (which is usually code for misunderstand โŒ๐Ÿง / or not comprehendโŒ๐Ÿ‘ what he is trying to say ๐Ÿ—ฃ. Even worst ๐Ÿ˜ณ case scenarios where people ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพ act especially argumentative ๐Ÿ˜ก or hateful ๐Ÿ˜ˆor just plain ignorant ๐Ÿ towards him ๐Ÿ‘‘ - at his bottom line I always hear him ๐Ÿ‘‘ expressing his desire ๐Ÿ˜ปfor๐Ÿง’๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿฆฑ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ everybody ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿฆฑ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธto just be happy ๐Ÿ˜ƒ , and to feel free ๐Ÿ•Š . Everything I ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ hear ๐Ÿ‘‚ him preach โ›ช๏ธ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ is about working ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผfor the greater good of humanity ๐Ÿ‘ฅ ๐ŸŒŽ , it's about waking up ๐Ÿ‘โŒ๐Ÿ’ค it's about freedom ๐Ÿ•Š , it's about art ๐Ÿ–ผ and expression ๐Ÿ—ฃ and feeling ๐Ÿ’• , and more importantly ๐Ÿง actually BEING- okay ๐Ÿ˜ƒwith oneself ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿฟ. Understanding ๐Ÿคจ that we ๐Ÿ‘ฅ are each ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ flawed ๐Ÿ˜” but it is these flaws ๐Ÿ˜ณ that make us ๐Ÿ‘ฅ unique ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ, and it is our combined๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ uniqueness๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ and flaws๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ that combined๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ, make one โ˜๐Ÿป absolutely perfect๐Ÿ˜ป whole. As a human ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปrace, as the beautiful๐Ÿ˜ป individual โ˜๐Ÿปexpressions of light ๐Ÿ’ก and energy ๐Ÿ”‹ , spirit ๐Ÿ‘ป , God ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ, source ๐ŸŒŽ, the universe ๐ŸŒŒ ... Whatever you ๐Ÿคจwould like to call ๐Ÿ“ฒ it, but those are just words ๐ŸŒ, and the point is it's all beautiful ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜ป. And we're all beautiful๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ’•โœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ. And it is precisely the things that we ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป are conditioned โŒNOT โŒto value ๐Ÿ’ฐ or love ๐Ÿ’— about ourselves๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ that make us ๐Ÿ‘ฅso perfect ๐Ÿ’• as a united ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ whole ๐ŸŒ We are โŒnot โŒseparate, and nobody โŒ๐Ÿ‘ฅ should ever feel lonely ๐Ÿ˜ฉ because of this โ˜๐Ÿป . There's 8 billion ๐ŸŒ people in the world ๐ŸŒŽ but still so many ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป of us feel alone ๐Ÿ˜ข ... But all at once โ˜๐Ÿป we ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป should cherish ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ the individualities ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธwe have each created ๐Ÿ–ผ for ourselves, for this s what makes this roller coaster ๐ŸŽข ride in space ๐ŸŒŒ fun ๐Ÿค . lol. And interesting ๐Ÿง . Of course it is difficult ๐Ÿ˜ค sometimes to try and remain enlightened ๐Ÿค“ and calm ๐Ÿ˜™ in the face ๐Ÿ‘น of ignorance ๐Ÿ or hatred ๐Ÿ‘บ, and in any instances where Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ has clapped ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ back or gotten defensive ๐Ÿฅด, they either deserved ๐Ÿค• the reality check โœ”๏ธ, they ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผdidn't see ๐Ÿ‘€ it coming bc their ignorance ๐Ÿ trumped their intuition ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘- which is also likely the cause of the initial โ˜๐Ÿป issue in the form of a complete ๐ŸŒ misunderstanding ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ due to the fact ๐Ÿ’ฏ that Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ is trying to express ๐ŸŽจ something that they are not๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ ready to hear ๐Ÿ‘‚ or are just not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ even close to being on the intellectual ๐Ÿง  , emotional ๐Ÿ˜ญ , or spiritual ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ level that he is speaking ๐Ÿ—ฃ on- and therefore just not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ getting it. These ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ things are amazing ๐Ÿ˜‰ though, bc for one โ˜๐Ÿป , I love โค๏ธ it that Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ is human ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป in that regard, it just reinforces everything I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ said before about embracing ๐Ÿค— all those imperfections ๐Ÿง๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ, and two- โœŒ๐Ÿผ because every single โ˜๐Ÿป time โฐ - it reinforces the exact โœ”๏ธ point he's ๐Ÿ‘‘ trying to make but just can't ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ put into words ๐Ÿ—ฃ in a way that some people will hear ๐Ÿ‘‚ , or even try to listen ๐Ÿ‘‚ to. Which goes back to my ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธoriginal sentiment about Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ as an artist ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ . Not a politician ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ , not an actor ๐ŸŽฅ , or any other profession ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€โš•๏ธ who get paid ๐Ÿ’ฐ to lie and just see ๐Ÿ‘€ how many ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฅ people they can get to buy ๐Ÿ’ด it. Not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ somebody who was groomed ๐Ÿ˜ฟ and trained ๐Ÿ˜พ to tell ๐Ÿ—ฃ people ๐Ÿ‘ฅonly what they want to ๐Ÿ‘‚ in a soothing ๐Ÿ˜Ž way that they can handle, and obvi ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธnot somebody who was ๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿงผ brainwashed ๐Ÿงผ ๐Ÿง  to believe anything those soothing ๐Ÿ˜Œ voices ๐Ÿ—ฃ and paid ๐Ÿ’ต liars tell them to believe. Which I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธthink ๐Ÿคจ is why people๐Ÿ‘ฅ just ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธdon't get him ๐Ÿ‘‘ , or want to disagree ๐Ÿ and attack ๐ŸฅŠ him, or both โœŒ๐Ÿผ . But because he ๐Ÿ‘‘ IS a human ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€โš•๏ธ being, as other human beings ๐Ÿ‘ฅ, we can't ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธexpect him to pander to the masses' ๐ŸŒ false beliefs or their ๐Ÿignorance. Hell ๐Ÿ”ฅ idk even know if it's rightโœ”๏ธ to call ๐Ÿ“ฑ it "the masses" ๐ŸŒ honestly it might just be a handful of shitstarters ๐Ÿ’ฉ ๐Ÿ˜ก and dummies ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ that the media ๐Ÿ“ธ blows way out of proportion so that from my ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธsimple pov- his ๐Ÿ‘‘ existence looks ๐Ÿ‘€ like mad ๐Ÿ˜ก drama ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ when it's really maybe mostly not, lol ๐Ÿ˜† . And I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ already know ๐Ÿง  the media ๐Ÿ“ธ makes the world ๐ŸŒ outside my peripherals ๐Ÿ‘ look stupid ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ , violent ๐Ÿ”ซ barbaric ๐Ÿ”ช... And much, much worse ๐Ÿ˜” than it really is ๐Ÿง. Because the facts ๐Ÿ’ฏ are, all these nice ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป , intelligent ๐Ÿค“ people ๐Ÿ‘ฅ aren't disgusting ๐Ÿคข or mean ๐Ÿคฌ or funny ๐Ÿคก(in a bad ๐Ÿฅต way) enough to make a cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž story ๐Ÿ“– . When in my reality ๐Ÿ’ฏ , I meet woke ๐Ÿ‘€ af Individuals๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป wayyy more regular ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™‚๏ธ than what any sort of media ๐Ÿ“ธ tells me my odds should ๐Ÿค” be for an encounter ๐Ÿ‘€ with someone ๐Ÿ‘‘ like that, another human ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป being that doesn't want to kill ๐Ÿ”ช, rob ๐Ÿ’ฐ and rape ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ me ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ or who's smarter ๐Ÿค“ than a box ๐Ÿ“ฆ of rocks ๐Ÿ’Ž is a rare breed ๐Ÿ• of person๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป- according to the news anyway. ๐Ÿ™„ Anyway big ass tangent โญ•๏ธ here- (feels appropriate๐Ÿค“ tho, considering who's ๐Ÿ‘‘ video ๐Ÿƒ I'm commenting ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป on- not gonna lie- lol ๐Ÿ˜† ) but anyway. Point being that because Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ is so refreshingly ๐Ÿ’ฆ human ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€โš•๏ธ like us ๐Ÿ‘ฅ aka REAL ๐Ÿ’ฏ , and people ๐Ÿ‘ฅ cannot ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ expect perfection โœ”๏ธ in any sort of normal ๐Ÿ˜ everyday life ๐Ÿ—บ or interactions ๐Ÿค or behaviors ๐Ÿ‘น from other, more or less equally ๐Ÿฅดimperfect๐Ÿฅด people ๐Ÿ‘ฅ. BUT- because Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ is also the extraordinarily ๐Ÿ† talented ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ and phenomenally ๐Ÿ˜ creative ๐Ÿฅณ ARTIST ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ he ๐Ÿ‘‘ is, he ๐Ÿ‘‘ doesn't have to be perfect๐Ÿ˜‡ in any other humanly ๐Ÿ˜Ž possible way, anyway ๐Ÿ’ฏ. He ๐Ÿ‘‘ is already perfect ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ in as many โ€ผ๏ธ ways one human ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿปcould be in THAT โ˜๐Ÿป department, And... Idk ๐Ÿ˜ about y'all ๐Ÿ‘ฅ, but as one โ˜๐Ÿป human ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿปbeing to 8 billion others ๐ŸŒ - I'd much rather y'all ๐ŸŒŽ be as real ๐Ÿ’ฏ and intelligent ๐Ÿง  and ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธnot giving a fuck ๐Ÿ–•๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ–•๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ–•๐Ÿฟabout what others ๐Ÿ‘ think ๐Ÿค” , understand ๐Ÿค“, agree ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป with,, or like about you... ๐Ÿ˜› but also not ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธshoving๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ all the stuff you do ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ give a fuck about down โฌ‡๏ธ everybody's ๐Ÿ‘ throats and judging ๐Ÿ˜ก them, bullying ๐Ÿ˜ซ them, ostracizing ๐Ÿคญ them, or attacking ๐ŸฅŠ anyone who doesn't believe in every single โ˜๐Ÿป little ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฟthing you ๐Ÿคก do. Respect โœŠ๐Ÿผ . Love ๐Ÿ’• . Joy ๐Ÿ˜Š . Inspiration ๐Ÿ˜ฏ . Passion ๐Ÿ† . Freedom ๐Ÿ•Š . Fun ๐Ÿ˜†. That's โ˜๐Ÿปโ˜๐Ÿปโ˜๐Ÿปwhat we ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป are all here for ๐Ÿ’ฏ . That โ˜๐Ÿป is what every ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿปperson ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป wants at the bottom โฌ‡๏ธ of their hearts ๐Ÿ’ž and souls โค๏ธ . We ๐Ÿ‘ฅpursue it all in different ๐Ÿ‘€ways and that is what we ๐Ÿ‘ฅ should appreciate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ most about being here ๐ŸŒ , with each other๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ. Thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ West ๐Ÿงญ , for being one โ˜๐Ÿป of the manyโœŠ๐Ÿผ, many, teachers ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ of things like this to me ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ personally. And thank ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ you to all ๐ŸŒ the rest of you 8 billion ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฅ- you are all my ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธteachers ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ too. I just wish ๐ŸŒŸI knew you ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ’‹โ€๐Ÿ‘จall well enough to appreciate๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ you're being here, ๐ŸŒ in person ๐Ÿ‘€. Because even that value ๐Ÿ† and gratitude ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ for those that you ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿปdon't know ๐Ÿง , would be awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž to give โœŠ๐Ÿผand receive โ˜๐Ÿปon that level ๐Ÿ’ฏ . Even like this ridiculously long ๐Ÿ“ comment of appreciation ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ for Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ West ๐Ÿงญ, who doesn't know me ๐Ÿ˜” and prob never will ๐Ÿ˜ข , is a type of gratitude ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’ฏ I would like to extend to everyone ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป on the planet ๐ŸŒŽ for something, if I could๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜ซ. Because even the ๐Ÿ˜appreciation๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป thrown towards a stranger ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ in the slightest ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฟ, most superficial ๐Ÿ’‹and completely one-way road โš ๏ธ type of "knowing ๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿ‘€ " someone- like that from a "normal" ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ person, or in this case a fan ๐Ÿคฉ for somebody they ๐ŸŒŠ admire ๐Ÿ’• , in this โ˜๐Ÿป case a famous ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ artist ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ , is a step towards ๐Ÿ”œ the kind of world ๐ŸŒŽ we ๐Ÿ‘ฅ would live ๐Ÿก in if everybody ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฅcould truly ๐Ÿ’ฏ appreciate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ everybody, just in some ๐Ÿค” way- any ๐Ÿ˜จway- or every ๐Ÿค— way- or even just ๐Ÿฅณfor being here ๐ŸŒโ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธ. But I guess ๐Ÿค” everybody ๐Ÿ‘ฅcan only appreciate everybody ๐ŸŒ , if on some level we ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปalready do. And I think ๐Ÿค” that's the level Kanye's ๐Ÿ‘‘ on when he ๐Ÿ‘‘ made this ๐ŸŽฅ ๐ŸŽผ ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ’ฟ . Love โค๏ธ you ๐Ÿค all ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ You too, Ye ๐Ÿ‘‘. Thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ for giving me ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ this comment ๐Ÿ“ box ๐Ÿ“ฆ to drop ๐Ÿ“ฅsome love โค๏ธ on the world ๐ŸŒ . lol ๐Ÿ˜† . And to anybody ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป who's still reading ๐Ÿ“– this โ˜๐Ÿป , may God ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ and yeezus ๐Ÿ‘‘ bless โ‡๏ธ your beautiful soul โค๏ธ, and I love ๐Ÿ’• YOU ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿปmost of all! ๐Ÿ’ฏ I believe ๐Ÿค— the title of this film ๐ŸŽž is where you ๐Ÿ‘ฅ can find the meaning ๐Ÿง . Runaway. ๐Ÿƒ If you ๐Ÿ‘ฅ have ever listened ๐Ÿ‘‚ to Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ he always talks ๐Ÿ—ฃabout how we ๐ŸŒ are slaves ๐Ÿ˜” to society ๐Ÿ’ญ . He ๐Ÿ‘‘ is showing ๐Ÿ‘€ us within a film ๐ŸŽž that the way people ๐Ÿ‘ฅ perceive ๐Ÿ‘ us and our ๐Ÿ‘ฅ own egos ๐Ÿ˜ผ trap ๐Ÿ•ณ us into a mold ๐Ÿ—œ that we ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป doesn't necessarily ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ represent who we ๐ŸŒ are. The bird ๐Ÿฆ… is Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ and his ๐Ÿ‘‘ own inner beauty ๐Ÿ’„. Kanye's ๐Ÿ‘‘ entire motivation ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ to create ๐ŸŽจ and be heard ๐Ÿ‘‚ is the fact ๐Ÿ’ฏ that he ๐Ÿ‘‘ feels shorted ๐Ÿ˜ž by what people ๐Ÿ‘ think ๐Ÿ’ญ he ๐Ÿ‘‘ should be or what they ๐Ÿ‘ think ๐Ÿ’ญ he ๐Ÿ‘‘ should do. He ๐Ÿ‘‘ feels like ๐Ÿ™Š his ๐Ÿ‘‘ true ๐Ÿ’ฏ self, untainted by society, is a phoenix and if he ๐Ÿ‘‘ let's society ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŒ control ๐ŸŽฎ him ๐Ÿ‘‘ then it will turn โญ to stone ๐Ÿ’Ž . Kanye ๐Ÿ‘‘ wants us ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป to see ๐Ÿ‘€ that the stereotypes ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ created by us ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป limit our own ๐Ÿ‘ฅexpression, our true ๐Ÿ’ฏ authentic beauty ๐Ÿ’„. Now, you ๐Ÿคก may think ๐Ÿค” it is crazy ๐Ÿ˜œ to think ๐Ÿค” this much ๐Ÿ™Š about the symbolism ๐Ÿ“– but artists ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽจ don't ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ make art ๐Ÿ–ผ unless they ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽค are compelled ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฉ by some larger ๐ŸŒ mission. Art ๐Ÿ–ผ is expressing ๐Ÿ’ฆ the soul โค๏ธ . Art ๐Ÿ–ผ is sacred ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ. So yesโœ”๏ธโœ”๏ธโœ”๏ธ, on the surface ๐ŸŒŠ this is beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ and enjoyable ๐Ÿคช but for him ๐Ÿ‘‘ , it is so much more ๐Ÿ’ฏ. Man ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพ i cry ๐Ÿ˜ญ so much when the autotuned ๐ŸŽค part from runaway ๐Ÿƒ starts โ–ถ๏ธ, it's like so beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ the mix ๐Ÿ”€ between the song ๐ŸŽผ and the ballet ๐Ÿฉฐ scene. I never๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ realized ๐Ÿง how dope ๐Ÿคช ballet ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ was until right I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ watched ๐Ÿ‘€ this โ˜๐Ÿป. They ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ walk on their toes ๐Ÿฆถ. Think ๐Ÿค” about how much ๐Ÿ˜ฃ their toes ๐Ÿฆถ hurt ๐Ÿค• . You ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธwouldn't know ๐Ÿง  the serious ๐Ÿ’ฏ toe ๐Ÿฆถ pain ๐Ÿ˜“ that they ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ are in though because they act ๐Ÿคช like their toes ๐Ÿฆถ don't hurt ๐Ÿ˜ข ,but in reality โ˜๐Ÿป they ๐Ÿฆถ hurt very ๐Ÿค•badly ๐Ÿ˜ญ. I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ just tried ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ standing on my ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ toes ๐Ÿฆถ and I ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ can't ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ explain ๐Ÿคจ how much it sucked ๐Ÿ˜’. Appreciate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ these people ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ who are willing ๐Ÿคช to wear ๐Ÿฉฐ weird ๐Ÿฆ… clothes and stand ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ on their toes ๐Ÿฆถ, because it is awkward ๐Ÿ˜ซ,embarrassing ๐Ÿ˜ฃ, and painful ๐Ÿ˜– . Go stand๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ on your toes ๐Ÿฉฐ in a weird outfit ๐Ÿง๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ. Bitch.๐Ÿฅต

Thumbs up for serbia
Yo yo yo yo yo. What is up?? I am here in flesh but in writing on the blog as I forever immortalize my thoughts and conceptualise my memories in literature form for future generations and future me to revisit. So I left y'all on my butterz night bus to Belgrade last week. I finished writing mid journey, may I say the journey got all the more eventful. I couldn't sleep until the last two hours, great. 1 coffee at 6pm screwed me sadly, very bloody annoying. But yes after I left you we got to the border. Coincidentally I'd actually forgotten about this journey till I just revisited the last blog, so lucky I looked back. The border was long. A long night time border crossing in a bus? Shock. Never had one of those before. Probably some of my least pleasant experiences holidaying. They are always crap and stressful. This was no change. Firstly we waited on the Hungarian side for maybe 1.5-2 hours. I was wired the whole time cause of the coffee. Lucky I had an audiobook to help my sanity. Then the actual border. The Hungarians are apparently really strict on their borders I've been told. Something that was definitely not the case coming from Poland as I didn't even need my passport. This was the issue. My passport was in my big bag as I'd assumed (rationally given pur previous border crossings) I wouldn't need it and I didn't want the FAFF of having it on me. Mistake number 1. Someone said "use your drivers licence that'll work". It didn't work. I was sent back to the bus. I clambered into the hold to find my passport and had a border guard shouting at me in Hungarian. Cheers that'll help. The bus driver telling me I was holding the whole process up made me laugh given people were still getting their passports checked when I got there. Then an aggy look from the official as he begrudgingly let me thru. The next step of the farce. Getting back on the bus and giving the conductor pur passports. She, then having had them checked AGAIN brought them back, gave them back to people randomly. She couldn't say half the names and was left with like 5 at the end of unclaimed passports hmmmm. It was a fiasco. After that the journey was smooth to Belgrade where we continue our journey. Belgrade. A city steeped in history. A people so affected by war and strife. A culture so intertwined with that of its neighbours. Belgrade was a funny city. So parts were very grand, some were grey and grim from the communist era while others were of a more modern style. This was all testament to the rocky, turbulent history of Serbia. All of which we learnt on the free walking tour. Something I havent done in some time and our first in eastern Europe. I the guide was knowledgeable. He also like to talk. A lot. Lots of Information. May I pose a question of you? How much info is too much? Can there be too much? I think this may have been that occasion. It was a lot to take in but on our first day it was perfect to set the scene for this highly individual country. We enjoyed it greatly. But in the immortal words of Craig David re ee wind. When the crowd say no selecta. So I reverse. Our day began with the checking in at 6:30am urgh. Lucky we could do so but we had no bed so we slept on the sofas for 3 hours. Nice. To wake up in our new hostel. It was an odd one. Some very friendly nice people. But many... Different people. A few crazies and a few odd ones. The hostel was like a big apartment so it was cosy and sociable but like I say... Weird and a bit dirty. The day began though with a wander to the market where we saw people selling bits and bobs and some things you can only imagine they found in their attic or in a skip... No deal thank you. The greatest excitement from this journey however came as I found out how much the old Serbian men enjoy a game of chess. They love it. They'd all be crowded around a pair of players. Excitement in the air. Cursing. Cries of cheating. And jubilant smug grims when one had made a power move. With my recent redound love of chess I was engrossed. Safe to say Alina was not. I wanted to stay, to challenge these goliaths of the game to a match. It was intimidating and Alina may have killed me so I shrank away. Content with merely spectating this spectacle. To our surprise and joy this became commonly found throughout belgrade as these testosterone fuelled beasts fed their egos through brain straining sport. Immense viewing. Another little tit bit. You can buy 2 litre plastic beer bottles in Serbia. A beautiful creation up there with sliced bread, the wheel, sky plus and tiki taka football. They were a staple of our time in Belgrade and being so large you had to drink them fast before they got flat and warm. Fine mum I'll neck my beer. Our second day was buff. The sun was shining and we went to the beach. Huh? The beach? But Serbia land trapped? Some of our keen geographers may have been asking these questions. Very well done if you did, you get a cookie. However, being on two major rivers has allowed Belgrade to create an artificial stone beach. And being a stones throw from the city it is a perfect little get await. Ill be honest, it was busy. Still space to bathe tho and have a wee dip in the water. There were restaurants, bars, shops etc. We made do with our bread and dips tho. A good little day out and a chance to top up the tans, ideal. Our third day was uneventful as we took in the city and city and just vibed. Dont know what that means? Neither do I. I made it up. It was chill so we were all ready for our trip to nova varos and the countryside the next day. So you may have realised as keen readers that we have spent much time in big cities. We have. And we wanted to get out so we sent to brdo in nova varos in west Serbia. Off the beaten track so as to speak. This consequentially, is where I have been writing from although we are now in the bus to Bosnia woohoo. Edin dzeko here we come. Nova varos is tiny. A skiing town in winter and a chilled hiking town in summer kind of. We have been in the wilderness staying in a cheap home stay with a lovely woman who didn't have a word of English. It was very enjoyable. We wandered around towns and to a monestry In the mountains. It was very atmospheric and like I say, nice to get out of the cities. Yesterday was the day we saw a river. The uvac river. The home to the 3m griffin vulture. Ooooo. Wow. Big bird. There were also tonnes of eagles gliding around. They were all sick. The tour had us two and a polish couple and consisted of floating down the river as it meandered through the high up mountains. To describe this river it looked like your clichรฉ geography GCSE meandering river as it swerved back and forth through these mountains. Buff. A very picturesque area that can only really be appreciated from up heigh. So we climbed. There was a platform maybe 200-300 metres up (it was hard to work out through the guides very disjointed english.). It was a hot climb as the temperature rose and the sun came out. 20-30 mins later we were there. Wow. What a view. AND we have the pictures to prove it ahahah. It was lush. We had a beer (a homebrew we think) at the top and then wandered down for the rip to the cave. It was a big cave. Very big. It was also very cold. Nicknamed the ice cave. Why? Two reasons we think. Maybe cause it was so cold. Or maybe cause of the vast numbers of stalagmites and stalactites all over the cave. They were very impressive even if we still can't work out which is which. This brought the end of the cruise as we sauntered home in the boat, a good little day out only marred by the scenes that morning. God that was a FAFF. We had decided to go the day before. Were told the time and price. Perfect. The man came the next morning and shock, the price had changed. There were taxi charges, entrance fees, another price because other people had pulled our of coming. Hmmm. I dont believe you. This whole encounter was made all the more tricky by his speaking no English. He spoke to a lady in Serbian. She translated to alina in German and she translated to me in English. Like a giant game of Chinese whispers. Long and stressful. After deliberation we went for it. Annoyed but it still wasn't expensive. Just like having a slight sour taste in your mouth. So you may be questioning the title. Bit weird. Is it relevant or has this kid just lost his imagination. It was actually alinas first contribution to this beautiful blog something she has been craving since the blogs glorious rebirth. So yes the last few days in nova varos have marked our reignited love for hitchhiking. Having only done it sporadically when I was 18 to 20 its something I'm glad to be doing again. Everyone here is very friendly and usually more than willing to pick us up. Since we've started there's only been one journey we had to walk having done it 6 times in the last few days with the most recent coming from a taxi driver as he said no. Stopped 10 metres up the road and reversed to let us in. Good lad. Like I say its been fin, saved us time and money even if we cannot communicate with anyone as none of them speak any English. Just lots of waving hands forwards and repeating the destination we need. A successful start in our eyes. The funniest was as we were stood on the side of the road hailing down anyone we could and a big Porsche zoomed towards us. We saw. Stuck our thumbs up. Hoped. Prayed. He speeds at us. We have little confidence with his speed. No signs of slowing down. He's past us. F off mate we think. I fume "of course he didn't stop, no one in a Porsche will ever stop". We look over. He's stopped. What's happened? Has he hit a child? No he'd found his conscience. He reversed and let us in. What a man. What a car. It was really comfy and spacious. We enjoyed it. But yes this is now a new chapter in our lives. The chapter of free lifts and hitching. Yay. Enjoyable. Here's to lots more. Anyhow I've rambled for ages and my fingers hurt. Writing this on my tiny crap phone is long. But for you guys I'd do anything. Love y'all. I'll be back in like four days. We won't be in Bosnia too long. Ciao (Thats bye in Serbian). G

There is so much cool stuff at the library, you donโ€™t even know! Some of the best old black and white films I canโ€™t even find on streaming just EXIST there because some elderly patron left them in their Will.
Thatโ€™s just how libraries are.
I say as a librarian.

Yes, this!
I have a library card that I donโ€™t use all that much, but whenever I want to go, i somehow have always lost my card, so I replace it then check out a few books!
Being able to do this, even if itโ€™s not always used, supports your public library, and itโ€™s one more reason, one more person who might need it, that keeps it from getting shut down.
