What would our little alien guy do for Christmas? Fly in his spaceship and look at Christmas lights

absolutely!! i like thinking about him, with nowhere to really go, just getting into his spaceship and flying around town looking at all the pretty lights that are suddenly wrapped around people’s houses. maybe when he finally joins the crue, they let him spend christmas together with them and they show him what the holiday is really about. of course they would have a hard time really defining what christmas means to them because they’ve all had different experiences with the holiday… but they do try! oh, and just imagine micks face when he finally sees all the christmas lights up close. just full of wonder and love for this strange planet that loves to make the world all bright and colourful for one day out of the whole year.

(also love the idea of the crues christmas tree decorated full of empty beer bottles, used panties, syringes and tissues. mick wouldn’t know that’s not what you put on a christmas tree and just goes along with it. when he finally leaves the motley house he’s in for a culture shock when he finally learns what’s actually supposed to go on a christmas tree!)
