update for those who have been following along with my housing saga: Sasha and I have somewhere to go. They’re moving back in with their parent, and I’m moving back home. I didn’t have “move back into my parents’ house” on my in-this-lifetime bingo card, but here i am.
my dad has assured me that he’s not going to let my mom Do That Thing She Does again, and if it falls through like the last 10000 times, I have another place I will be allowed to stay that isn’t my car or a shelter again.
Thankfully half the house is going out of town for a few weeks in the near future, and I’ll be in treatment 12 hours a day most days, and 6 hours a day on the weekends. So there won’t be a lot of interacting to be done for a long while. My brother is also moving back home from college at the same time. It’ll be a 4 person household for the first time since I moved out 5 years ago. i’ll probably spend most of my free time on weekends at meetings, meeting with my sponsor, and going on dates with Sasha. I don’t have to move back into my old bedroom thank G-d. We might have to re-home our dog, which Im trying not to focus too hard on while it’s still uncertain bc i will have a breakdown about it.
but whatever happens will happen. and i’m just ready to get on the right road.
