Danny who is just building increasingly larger models of space shuttles/rovers until they’re barely models anymore

Danny who feels a kinship with Oppy, who Just Knows what NASA and other space programs are achieving at any given time

Danny who knows when an astronaut or rover/satellite is in danger and has to stop himself from flying there at the speed of sound to help

Danny that just…floats through space sometimes, when everything gets too much

Maybe he floats by the watchtower, or he sees thanos coming

Dustin is confused about why a dog keeps begging to be let in by his window every night. And really, the dog is too big to be a dog, but it looks like a golden retriever with soft brown fur. And well, his mom doesn't like it, so Dustin takes off the screen to his window and lets the dog in that way each night.

The dog sleeps at the end of his bed like Dustin is his person. But in the morning, the dog is always gone, only leaving some fur as proof it was ever there.

It stays that way for months until the third go around with the Upside Down. The dog doesn't appear at Dustin's window and he's terrified something happened or that when Dustin had been trapped under the mall, far from his house, that the dog had tried to see him and he didn't answer. It keeps him up at night until almost a week later, the dog is back.

Dustin let's the dog in instantly and hugs the wild animal, and it rests its head on top of his. The dog curls up ready for bed and it's the first night he sleeps the whole night through since the 4th.

Only the dog doesn't come back the next night or the next. And as the week drags by Dustin fears for his friend. Up until the point Max sighs, "I couldn't sleep last night. There's this dog that keeps barking at my window." She groans and leans against Lucas. Dustin sees the way Steve and Robin tense up off to the side.

"What kind of dog?" Lucas asks, "because the same thing is happening to me."

And Robin clears her throat. "Same." And suddenly the whole party is curious.

Max shrugs, "I don't know, big? Like a huge golden retriever if the golden retriever was on steroids."

And Dustin's mouth falls open. "No way- that- that my dog." He splutters and feels eyes on him. "That's why- he only ever calms down if you let him in. He showed up at mine a year ago and just kinda kept coming back."

"Weird," Steve chokes out and suddenly looks really interested in the floor.

But Dustin ignores him in favor of talking with Max, wondering why he never brought it up before.

DP x DC: Crossover with (CW) The Flash

Danny wasn't sure whose idea it was to go to Central City for the launch of the new S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator, but he was not going to complain about not having to worry about ghost attacks for a couple of days. Since it was just his class going, Jazz was in charge of monitoring for ghost activity and preventing his parents from causing too much property damage or physical injuries. Danny, Tucker, and Sam followed their class as they exited the bus in front of S.T.A.R. Labs main building where a tour guide was set to meet them and show them around the labs and give them an special look at the particle accelerator before it was set to turn on that night. Danny was practically vibrating with excitement at the opportunity to dig into the engineering and construction behind the accelerator and ask the scientists in charge of building it questions. Sam and Tucker could really care less, but they entertained all of Danny's ramblings with minimal complaint because they were glad to see their friend truly enjoying himself without the looming threat of a ghost attack. Danny would have said the tour was going fantastic up to this point. He'd asked his questions, seen the accelerator tunnel up close, and even got to look at some other projects S.T.A.R. Labs was working on as they toured some of the laboratory spaces. Then, Dr. Harrison Wells stepped into the room, and Danny felt something in his gut drop. The man was a genius, the mastermind behind some of S.T.A.R. Labs latest and greatest scientific achievements. But something about the smile he had cast towards the tour group as he greeted them and introduced himself just didn't feel right to Danny. He knew it wasn't something ghost-related. He would have sensed another ghost nearby. But he felt something nudging the back of his memory, like a word on the tip of his tongue he just could not quite grasp. The tour finished without issue, and the class went outside to join the crowd waiting for the particle accelerator to turn on. Danny kept feeling that gut instinct that something was going to go wrong. And then, it exploded.

Ten months later Danny's phone dinged with a video sent by Tucker. The video, titled "Central City's Flash: Who is He?", showed a red blur rush past the cameras into a burning building and a lightning speed evacuate what appeared to be the entire building. It was only a couple months after that when Clockwork warned Danny that something was messing with the timelines and requested he go to Central City to investigate how to stop the breaches from occuring. Much to Danny's suprise when he is floating invisibly through the remainder and partially rebuilt buildings of S.T.A.R. Labs, he sees Dr. Harrison Wells enter a secret room via a panel in a hallway wall. Danny, curious, follows him into the room and is shocked to discover that Dr. Wells is moonlighting as who the public knows as Reverse-Flash. Danny is even more surprised when Dr. Wells turns around and looks directly at him before saying: "I was wondering when exactly you would show up."

Dc x Dp Fantasy au

fantasy AU where Tim is, predictably, a prince of the kingdom of Gotham. except he continues to want nothing to do with the family bullshit and much like how in canon he made up a fake uncle, he attempts to worm out of being trapped (read- loved and cared for) by investigating a neighboring kingdom via infiltration. Bruce does not enjoy this. Bruce does not have a choice, because trying to stop Tim is like trying to keep a cat away from that one thing you really don't want said cat to touch; impossible.

bordering kingdom meanwhile is a place of magic and mystery and ghosts. this is why so little is known about it. its freaky. this is all due to the fact that its set, functionally, in the place where the border between the infinite realms and the physical world is thinnest. due to all the magic shit the people there have learned to live in very specific ways for their own safety and most newcomers either leave before learning much or, yk, die. this means what little information that gets out is vague and unreliable, and all the other kingdoms are really wary of the place. any attempts to reach out and establish connections have been met with silence, as if its cut off from the world. spies don't return. forcing their way in would risk strife and war. as it is, they mostly ignore the place, since it doesn't cause them much trouble- except that recently, odd glowing green creatures have been escaping into the other lands. somethings gotta be done.

Tim decides he's that something.

Meanwhile, Danny, teen boy that's freshly coronated as king, attempting to deal with stabilizing both Amity kingdom and the infinite lands, the magic keeping all the malicious shit where the people that can handle it weakening, among about a million other things when a pretty boy his age that knows how to handle political shit and somehow adjusts to the crazy magic society shows up: "please save me please please please-"

Honestly I love fics where it's a Spidey in Gotham. I love thinking about, but you know what else I love? Angst and found family. I mean go ahead and read what I write, I physically cannot seem to write happine-anyways!

Do you know how much Batman (Bruce) wants to find out Spidey's identity. Are they a meta-an alien, another Clark situation perhaps? What and who exactly are they? Why do they seem so playful? He is itching to find out, what if they need to make a contingency plan for them? I mean, they shoot webs for gods sake! And lift way heavier than they should. Their healing also seems abnormally fast... So just imagine with me. Spidey, stabbed or shot. Just a really gnarly wound. Their healing isn't working as fast as it should and they've already lost a lot of blood. Their senses are higher than ever and they're too far from home or any safe house. Fucking shit situation. And guess what? The big old' Bat had to be in the same alleyway. The playful façade is slowly slipping as well as there consciousness, in a spur of emotions they take the knife out. A loud scream (and maybe sob) escaping their lips. Bruce is just like 'WTF?? Are they really just an idiot?' But it was the object stopping the healing, of course! They had just been to overwhelmed to think properly. And...now they've fainted. Great. Just great.

Even after their wound had managed to heal, mostly at least, you still wouldn't wake up. He carried them into the Batmobile, his hand itched to take of that mask. Literally twitching, he needs to know. But he doesn't. He doesn't take it off, and that is something. The mask stays on, it's not like he could prove it to them when they wake up but 🤷‍♀️

It's trust

After they wake up, confused, they still check if your mask stayed on. Being concerned about your identity after losing that much blood spoke volumes. And now you both just sat there, this man had told them that they were a nuisance almost every chance he got and now he was taking you to the Batcave-wait the Batcave??
