The (Light) Saber method of watching Star Wars
Aka; how to give the plot twists maximum effect. A post by me, Space!
Episode Four, A New Hope
Episode One, The Phantom Menace (this movie is Bad, and also a lot of the aliens are just A Racist Caricature in a funny hat. But you probably need to know what happens in it for like, context, unfortunately)
Episode Two, The Clone Wars
Episode Five, The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars: Clone Wars (miniseries, no longer canon but still very good)
Star Wars; The Clone Wars (TV show, seven seasons (yikes), but thankfully it’s a kid’s show, so they aren’t that long)
Episode Three, Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars; Rebels (TV show, successor to The Clone Wars but not as long)
Kenobi
Episode Six: Return of the Jedi
The Mandolorian
+ Watch episode seven and then like, enough fanvids and compilations of Rose Tyco to get a sense of her character and then decide what you think happens, it will be better than what they did.
#just add in Rogue One and Solo after episode four if you wanna see them#Rogue One is good. Solo is not.#Disclaimer: I have not seen Kenobi; Clone Wars; the last season of TCW or most of Rebels#So their placement in this list and my assessments of them are based on what I’ve heard/seen in fanvids and chronological order#(Also I read some of the Clone Wars graphic novels and they were good)#My stuff#star wars#i included a lot of basic information in the notes because this is ideally for someone who’s never seen Star Wars before#And knows as little about it as possible#Like I said; this is so the plot twists can have Max Effect#So don’t spoil anything#Except the twins thing; you should probably spoil the twins thing#(Note to self: move to top)#I just realized that this is basically the same method The Untamed uses#And like; that is not where I got this idea; I’ve had it since years before I ever even heard of CQL and just updated it for new stuff#But like; if it works it works
