Review: Juntos, El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca (U.S.A version-ep 4)

Here is my review of episode 4 (aired 8/16/19 on Univision)

Like always, I'm going scene by scene and whether they edited/cut out certain scenes.

The opening credits: On Univision, it plays after Ari ask Diego why he has a picture of Temo in his wallet.

1. Edited: the part when Ari tells Professor Collins why he is attending the University.

2. Cut: the Halls scene when Ari gives Edward a Halls after he ate at the restaurant (where Ari is working).

These were the only things that I noticed. Like always if I missed anything, please add to my list/post.

On a side note, another difference between Las Estrellas version & Univision version of the novela are the bumpers.

Instead of showing this before & after a commercial:

This is what Univision use before & after a commercial ( the logo in the left corner).

Well this was a good ep and the parts they edited/cut out didnt make a huge difference to the ep.

Review: Juntos, El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca (U.S.A version-ep 10)

Here is my review for episode 10 (aired 8/26/19)

Originally episodes part of 13, 14 and part of 15-pretty sure they combined all 3 eps.

1. Cut: When Ari, Temo, Deigo y Arqui first arrive at the pool. Ari tells Temo y Deigo if he could have a moment with his brother. Also, the part when Arqui holding hands with Ari.

2. Edited: The walk/talk Carlota has with her dad before Thiago sings to her.

3. Edited: The conversation Dora y Elsa have about Olegario's mom. Elsa says she has seen a picture of his mom but doesn't remember her face (or something like that). Dora turns around and has a worried look on her face.

3. Cut: Temo y Deigo playing soccer and Temo is telling him the conversation he had with Ari (about adopting Arqui). Arqui kicks the ball into Dora y Nora's window. Dora sees this and ask who did it. Arqui points at Temo y Deigo. Pancho sees this & says he will fix the window.

4. Cut: When Temo, Ari, Diego, Eduardo, Pancho and Arquímedes are at Dora's apartment. She asks them if she could spend more time with Arqui. Eduardo says yes, and Arqui leaves to wash his hands. When he does that, he steals the toy car (but they don't show it).

5. Cut: The conversation between Pancho and Temo about adoption. And the hug Pancho gives Temo.

6. Cut: When Pancho, Audifaz, Eduardo, Temo, Ari and Arquímedes are putting a puzzle together and Pancho gives them a check. Ari doesn't want to accept but his dad tells him to and to think of it as a loan. He accepts and promises to pay it back. Also, they cut out the Uber app scene too.

Edited: Before: Uldado y Caballero are talking about Elsa signing those papers and Uldado saying Elsa has already paid with blood.

7. Edited: A few seconds of Carlota being in Andrés's room. She starts playing with the piano and his spirit talks to her. He leads her hand to the piano key with the flash drive.

8. Edited: When Diego and Soledad come back from shopping. They talk about Ubaldo and Diego mentions he wants to die his hair to blonde.

At least they kept the "KE RIKA AWA" but they edited a few seconds of Ubaldo getting another glass of water.

9. Cut: The whole dinner scene at Dora's apartment. She tells Ari y Temo she will never accept their relationship. And Nora comes back from the store and joins them for dinner (also, she puts away the letter from B). Also they cut when Nora goes over Deigo's apartment to go out with Soledad for coffee (before she left -Nora tells Dora).

10. Cut: Ubaldo calls Mateo. Mateo is at a coffee shop and his girlfriend comes and tries to kiss him. He tells her no & that's when Ubaldo calls. Also, his gf catches him watching the video "Amor Valiente"

12. Cut: When Ubaldo walks in on Nora y Soledad dancing ( flashback on their 60's clothes)

13. Cut: I'm happy they cut this part out. When the roomies are having a sleepover party with themselves.

14. Cut: After Diego talks with Dora, he goes back to the apartment and asks his friends if they can hug him.

15. Cut: When Eduardo tries to get Arqui to go to sleep and he tells him the story about his make believe friends. That's why Arqui says there are 4 people at the table.

Edited: a few seconds when Olegario visits Dora and talk.

OMG! They got rid of the 1st MATIEGO SCENE! WHY! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I don't remember anything else after that. I'm mad about the Matiego scene.

Now, they sooo edited a lot out of these episodes. They literally combined the ending of 13 and combined episodes 14 & part of 15. Univision is ruining the novela for all US fans. But I will say this, as of now...the novela/the episodes aren't all about Carlota (like the original did). Also, they aren't showing as many Andrés scenes. The episodes are focusing more on Aristemo and their friends but the editing doesn't help.

Review: Juntos, El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca (U.S.A version-ep 9)

My review of ep 9 (aired on 8/23/19). Originally episodes 12 & 13.

UGH!!! 

Before anything, Univision just ruined this episode for me!!!   

1. Cut (a long one!): So they cut out when Eduardo y Aris carry Polita's body to the bedroom. Ari covers her feet & kisses them. Arquímedes running towards Dora crying asking for him mom & Nora hugs Temo. Dora goes to the apartment & she's the one who calls the doctor.

2. Cut: Diego comes back from the store & tells Carlota he is thinking of dying his hair blonde. Carlota ask why Polita left their door open and Diego says, they probably forgot.

3.Cut: When Aris is talking to his mom (in the bed room) & Temo tells him  “come with me”. Thiago going to the apartment to see how Ari is & he meets Olegario. Also, he does a cheesy joke & Olegario tells Carlota that Thiago likes her alot. They go to the apartment and Carlota y Diego made Ari is favorite food but he isn't hungry. Temo is scared that he won't be able to give Ari enough support.

4. Cut: Before they cremate Polita's body, Ari y Arquímedes  give their final goodbye & the hug Temo gives Ari before they leave.

5. Cut: A voice over of Ari talking about the days after his moms passing. When Ari wakes up Arquímedes (he looks at his mom’s bed and ask Ari “where is my mom”).  When Temo asks Arqui how he wants he his hair done (in their apartment-such a cute scene!)

6. Edited: part of the uber drive/conversation between Aris & Temo.

Omg! What is Univision doing to the novela?! This was/still is one of my favorite episodes. When it originally aired, it was just amazing! Emilio's acting was phenomenal! He owned this episode & showed his true acting talent.

I couldn't wait for the USA fans to be amazed with his acting skills. But thanks to Univision, they ruined it! And now they are combing episodes (which I don’t mind) but by doing that, they are cutting out lots of important scenes and moments!! 

I’m lucky I was able to watch the novela back in June but I feel bad for the USA fans who are getting half episodes instead of the full ones!! IDK why Univision is doing this..I mean, why do soooo much promotion for a novela they are just going to edit out? I will keep watching but I won’t enjoy it a 2nd time around. 

Oh and on top of everything else.. ÚLTIMOS CAPÍTULOS! WTF! Only 9 episodes have aired and all of a sudden últimas capítulos! I say BS! Not only did Univision edited/cut/combined episodes, but they are scewing us out of 26 original episodes! What the hell Univision?! I'm too mad to count how many eps are left or how many they combined 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

OMG!

So its 3:34am and I'm on Twitter and I get a notification that someone liked my tweet from tonight's episode of Juntos El Corazon Nunca Se Equivoca (in the US). I went to see who it was & I see it's Santiago Zenteno aka Eduardo! I click on his account to make sure and its him!!! OMG, Eduardo liked my tweet! He liked my tweet about how they edited out lots of scenes (by the way, my reviews for ep 6-9 will be posted Saturday or Sunday..anywho)

I hope they have the wedding as the last ep. Or even better, show that time has passed, have them get married and show them starting a family (if there is no season 2).

Temo said YES!!!!!!!! Of course they first have to wait a little more to be a little more older, finish their careers and basically have well everything ready before starting to prepare for the wedding💖💖 and of course because Temo wants a huge wedding! I mean I get it he never really splurges on himself but this is a special occasion and he wants to make it big and make it special make it thier moment.

Review: Juntos, El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca (U.S.A version-ep 3)

Here is my review for ep 3 (aired on 8/15/19).

I will go scene by scene and compare to the original ep.

Differences (the opening credits): in the original episode, the opening plays after Ubaldo kisses Carlota's hand. On Univision, it plays after Soledad checks her phone as she waits for Ubaldo to come home to have dinner with him.

1. Edited: The beginning scene when Temo y Polita are setting the table and talking about his choice of majoring in Politics. And when Ari tells Temo he met Thiago.

2. Cut: the scene when Soledad tells the maid she wants to prepare Uldado's favorite food and for her to get the ingredients ready.

3. Cut: the part of Nora dancing in her room go classical music

That's pretty much the differences I noticed. This ep was good, just like the 1st time I watched it.
