probably a bit controversial but i dont hate maddie and i think shes overhated, people mostly hate her because she got in the way of caitvi but in her defence she very probably had no idea they had any sort of connection. i personally think maddie was really well written and is a pretty realistic character, she was obviously severly manipulated by ambessa like most other enforcers and maddies character seems to be very validation hungry and during her relationship with caitlyn she was very clingy because she knew caitlyn wasnt interested in the slightest but couldnt quite accept it. during her betrayal it was so clear to me that she was being manipulated into thinking it was the right thing to do, she had the right intentions which were corrupted by ambessa.
