Rabbitlilac - A Jumpclan Warrior

A pale ginger short-furred she-cat. Flintshade’s littermate. 52 moons old. Aromantic.

The mother of Cloudpaw, Specklepaw, and Lowpaw through Sneezeclan's Needlefall. Rabbitlilac wanted kits but wasn't interested in a mate; Needlefall had a good bloodline in Sneezeclan, was friendly to Rabbitlilac, and already had a mate so felt to Rabbitlilac like a safe cat - aka one who wouldn't catch feelings.

Do not mention her apparent resemblance to Pebblestun’s dead sister unless you want your muzzle clawed. She’s tired of people being weird about it, especially Stunclan cats who apparently still don't know any better. She was raised by her mother and her clan, and that's the only bloodline that matters to her - not her loner father who was apparently sleeping around with every queen he met.

Like many cats in Jumpclan, Rabbitlilac feels like she always has something to prove. She sticks to her goals fiercely and refuses to let anyone or anything get in her way.

the beginning: clan name

good evening y'all! I've been inspired to do my own little thing after watching multiple other comics based on clangen. this one will be a cooperative effort, with many (not all) choices being made by the viewers. I'll work more on making the blog pretty later, but let's get a first poll started, shall we?

here's some basic mockups of what their icons would look like:

I will not be locking any further choices out, such as territory choice, due to the name - I'd like to get creative with the story. excited to see where it goes!

FlowerClan - Moons 1-3 (Newleaf)

Once prosperous, FlowerClan fell into ruin when their leader died. They dispersed, with few remaining... those remaining cats migrated and wish to bring FlowerClan back to being a prosperous Clan.

Here are the seven remaining cats.

Quietstep stepped up to lead her Clan as Quietstar (fierce), with Downdawn (loving) as her deputy. Morningpaw, the medicine cat apprentice, was made a medicine cat early and named Morningsong (careful).

Moon 1

Apart from the Clan's founding, nothing noteworthy happened this moon.

Patrols:

Splashrunner, Silverpaw and Quailpaw's patrol slowly devolves into ghost stories; everyone feels on edge. Despite this, they have a successful patrol.

On Quietstar, Downdawn and Honeystep's patrol, Honeystep suggests they practice teamwork; they have a nice lesson.

Newtblaze and Archpetal smell and catch a hare.

Moon 2

Nothing noteworthy happened this moon.

Patrols:

Splashrunner, Silverpaw and Quailpaw's patrol catches the scent of a fox; they fail to drive it away, but get away uninjured.

Honeystep, Archpetal and Newtblaze's patrol comes across an odd Twoleg object, and interpret its purpose.

Downdawn gets Quietstar to tell stories of her warrior days, but they're disappointing.

Moon 3

Snakekit is named Snakepaw and apprenticed to Downdawn! She's faithful.

Patrols:

Splashrunner suggests the apprentices' patrol may be a good time for them to practice; they have a good practice session.

Quietstar, Downdawn and Newtblaze's patrol runs into another Clan, JumpClan's, border. Nobody is hostile, but the situation quickly turns awkward.

Honeystep and Archpetal's patrol finds a mouse and catch it.

FlowerClan has begun life in their new home peacefully and well. But will it remain that way for long? That is yet to be seen...

Orchidwhisker - A Jumpclan Warrior

A small trans she-cat, with warm, ruddy pointed fur, a speckled nose, and hazel eyes. Opalclaw's daughter, Lilytree's mate, and Cloudpaw's mentor. Considered abnormally small for Jumpclan, she is often mistaken by other clan cats as an apprentice. Cloudpaw is already larger than her at 8 moons.

She loves to swim, and finds herself jealous of Sneezeclan's access to water, but not of Sneezeclan's attitude. She has trouble imagining the kind of cat she would be if she grew up as a Sneezeclan cat, all lazy and far too open and trusting of strangers.

At 19 moons old, she is somewhat overwhelmed with being a parent and mentor so soon after becoming a warrior, but she's also incredibly proud. She loves her mate and their beautiful, strong kits, and feels fiercely protective over them in a way she never expected.

Flintshade - A Jumpclan Warrior

A light brown medium-furred tabby with a cream chest and paws. 52 moons old. Rabbitlilac's littermate, Fleetfur's mate, and the father of Lilytree and Duskwhisker.

Flintshade is often viewed as his mate's opposite. Fleetfur is energetic, social, and known for her mentoring skills, while Flintshade is calm, prefers to interact with a few close friends and family, and is a well-rounded warrior with no particular strength.

Currently apprenticing his niece, Lowpaw.

Specklepaw - Jumpclan's Healer Apprentice

An 8 moon old apprentice with wiry, golden, speckled fur and amber eyes. She is awkward and skeptical and has a strong connection to Jumpclan's ancestors, though she really wishes she didn't.

Specklepaw is Rabbitlilac’s daughter from an unknown sire. She spent her kithood looking up to her mother, and intended to make a name for herself as a great warrior just like her mother did. Her dream visits from Jumpclan's last leader, Sparrowjump, changed those plans.

She is full of energy, and is much happier when she's running and playing than she is when she's sorting herbs. However, she does take the spiritual portion of her job seriously.

Duskwhisker- One of Jumpclan's Healers

23 moon old tom. Would be accurately described as a fluffy little fancy man. Cares a fair amount about his looks and spends most of his downtime grooming.

Family means a lot to him. He has been extremely supportive of his brother's transition and has taken over his care completely during his pregnancy.

He is really bad at recognizing his gaps in knowledge, often leading to him providing unwanted advice and sometimes misunderstanding people's situations. He can come across as preachy and condescending to others due to this. Hillspirit isn't afraid to put him in his place, but others tend to bite their tongues and hold grudges against him because of this.

Fleetfur - A Jumpclan Warrior

A medium-furred calico she-cat. 71 moons old, but it's easy to forget her age with how energetic she is and how well she keeps up with much younger cats.

She's picked up her mother, Crowbeam’s, penchant for mentoring. Her current apprentice is Nectarpaw, and she is already talking with Riverjump about potentially taking on Crouchkit.

Despite keeping with Jumpclan's general training regimen of saying "you're doing great, honey" until it's true, she is actually a good teacher. She recognizes her apprentice's weaknesses and focuses their training on them without treating them as weaknesses.

Jewels - One of Jumpclan's Healers

Jewels is a 24-moon-old light brown long furred neutered tom.

He showed up in Jumpclan territory one day with two kits nearly old enough to be apprenticed, and promised to prove his worth.

While he has minimal connection to the ancestors, he caught on very quickly under Hillspirit's teaching, and brought new healing methods. It wasn't long before Jumpclan began treating him like one of their own.

Smokepaw and Leafpaw's adopted father. The three of them ran away from a hoarding situation, where Jewels had to learn to heal to keep himself alive. He doesn't like speaking about his life before Jumpclan, but is often used as a cautionary tale about the cruelties of twolegs.

Hillspirit - One of Jumpclan's Healers

Hillspirit is a self-reliant and powerful healer with thick, dark grey and white fur and peach colored eyes. She is the oldest of Jumpclan's healers by far at 75 moons old.

She started out as a warrior, but spent a lot of time with the healers even then, always on nest cleaning duty as an apprentice and helping her sister through a period of prolonged illness as a young warrior.

She had an off-again on-again relationship with Riverjump since youth until he showed up with Owlpelt in her jaws and tears in his eyes. Though Owlpelt is not her daughter by blood, Hillspirit is her mother in every sense of the word. The family of three has been inseparable since.

Nightfoot - Jumpclan's Deputy

A thick black and white medium furred tom with green eyes.

As the deputy, the mate of the leader's daughter, his nephew's mentor, and a new father, Nightfoot has a lot of responsibilities. He wouldn't blame you if you assumed his paws were too full, but Nightfoot thrives when he's busy.

His loyalty to and faith in Riverjump is unwavering - he would do anything she asked of him, including courting her daughter.

He did eventually fall for Owlpelt, and he loves her and their kits more than he ever thought was possible.

Riverjump - Jumpclan's Leader

A sliver and white short-furred genderless cat who uses she and he interchangeably. She is 64 moons old.

The grand-nibling of Jumpwing, Riverjump holds Jumpclan bloodlines in the highest regard. He is very proud that his daughter ended up with his deputy...even though he did set them up.

She is a young leader who always looking for ways to show off Jumpclan's power. He is constantly trying to prove to other cats that Jumpclan is strong, and to his own clanmates that he will always be beside them.

Right now, she is most concerned with ensuring that all cats are well trained and well fed, which means expanding the territory that his cats hunt in. This is a great time in her leadership, and he’s going to enjoy it.

Smokepaw and Leafpaw - Jumpclan apprentices

Smoke and Leaf were two young kits that Jewels took care of from a young age. With their mother's milk dried up from starvation, Jewels had to be crafty to keep them alive. When Jewels escaped the twoleg's hoarding situation, he couldn't bring himself to leave the two. Because of this, both cats see Jewels as their father.

Smokepaw is confident and is thriving under Timberheart's mentorship. While she originally found her mentor's habits to be off-putting, she now sees her as a mom.

Leafpaw has always been a much quieter cat and the trauma of what he went through only made it worse. Riverjump took him under their wing in hopes of breaking his shell. Only time will tell if it works.

Timberheart - A Jumpclan Warrior

A long-furred white and grey tabby she-cat. Nightfoot’s littermate. 31 moons old. She's got a bad habit of staring, especially at other cats. Even her brother has a REALLY hard time telling what she’s thinking, but it's usually nothing about you...even if it feels like she's staring into your soul.

She is currently mentoring Smokepaw, but Nightfoot lets her have a paw in Horsepaw's training, since he's her kit. She was mildly annoyed at first that Fleetfur wouldn't let her help out with her other kit, Nectarpaw, but she has come to trust Fleetfur's training, and is one of her most vocal supporters.

Jumpclan Territory

Jumpclan's territory is primarily meadows. Here, you can find entrances to tunnels which run under all the territories, a small section of pine trees, a massive maple tree older than the Clan, and a set of twoleg ruins at the very northern edge.

There are multiple entrances into Jumpclan's camp.

The nursery and elder's dens are inside of an abandoned warren in the center of camp. Meetings and important announcements are made on a set of large stones which cover the opening to these tunnels. This is also a popular spot for clanmates to hang out and sunbathe! The fresh kill pile is tucked between these rocks.

The leader's den is in an old blocked off rabbit tunnel, as is the warriors' den. The apprentices' den is inside a small clearing protected by brambles.

The healers have multiple dens made of blackberry bushes to ensure ill cats remain spread out from each other, and each healer has enough space to work.

Most of the clan's diet is large birds. They avoid eating rabbits unless food is scarce. They see rabbits and Jumpclan as having similar souls.
