Julissa is passing about the are of the celebration, a wide smile on her face as she does so, the excitement of the dusk court had just began to fade and it was not being awoken again full force by that very night. she senses the other before she sees him. "i am going to begin thinking you're avoiding my sister with how much are hanging about me, noah," she teases the other as she turns, hands behind her back and that mischievous look of hers ignited by the celebration around them. "you should go ask her to dance, you see, i promise to be in my best behavior if left unsupervised." a lie, of course.

Julissa was making the best of their stay in the dusk court, she wanted to know it all, learn it all before they found their way back home. if she had to return to summer and never see dusk again, she would at least take pleasure in knowing she had enjoyed every day to the fullest there. she is currently observing the distance with a smile on her face, the waves afar seemed so peaceful when there was so much chaos around them. "good to see me here? although in good spirits seems odd to say it when we are all forced to be here, don't you think?" she says arching an eyebrow, but her smile slips through. "i am just giving you a hard time, is good to see you well noah."

more than a century that the guard had been working for the high family had only helped him in getting closer to the family. in particular to one specific member that he had eventually married. that marriage forming out of nothing but his pure love for cassiopeia. never really having a hard time with the majority of her siblings was definitely a relief. finding the other's sibling as he made his way around their new temporary home, the dusk court. a soft smile on his features as he approached the other. "lady julissa." he greeted her politely. "it's good to see you here."

LAVINIA DRAGOMIR ; high priestess of summer.
‘ zorzo natharuetai, cis female, she/her, 35 / 350 , high fae ’ ― cauldron save you. it seems lavinia dragomir has been teleported to the dusk court, the high priestess from summer court is said to be wistful and is said to describe themselves dark eyes rimmed with darker circles, wishing you could be as good as they believe you to be, blue wildfire raging in your rib cage, resenting the legacy you inherit and with all of this in mind their temperamental nature always seems to get them into trouble. may the mother hold them as they navigate this unthinkable time.
full name: lawana “lavinia” dragomir name meaning graceful, beautiful, legendary mother, one who does good age: three hundred and fifty place of birth: the summer court gender: cisfemale pronouns: she/her sexual & romantic orientation: unlabelled but open occupation: high priestess personality traits: passive aggressive, gentle-spirited, generous, devout, loyal, anal, strict, (s)motherly abilities: winnowing, bargaining, glamour, water command
mother: high priestess titania shinawatra, deceased father: legion dragomir, deceased siblings: alina, morgana, nerina, kris, julissa partner(s): general noah park
height: 5’8” body and build: lithe hair color and style: long, waist-length dark hair complexion: pale eye color: black, coal clothing style: fashionable, yet modest leaning; wears a golden high priestess circlet with a gauze veil, sometimes a chainmetal veil; often is wearing jewellery (good thing she goes to sleep in her full jewellery set) signature scent: spun sugar and champagne
you were born for greatness, but it wasn’t your fault that you did not know which greatness.
you were bred of two birthrights — the union of a high lord and his high priestess. both promised to be yours if you worked hard enough to be worthy of both (you learn this quickly to be bullshit).
before it's all for naught, there's a brief, beautiful period where everything is perfect. you grow swiftly into your long limbs, the grace needed to guide ritual coursing in your blood. at first, they believe this to be a sign — it is you who would break the summer court’s infamous firstborn curse. you cycle between your mother's great house and your father's, learning scripture and strategy, weaving between being a big sister and an only child. you are spoiled in both houses with frilly ribbons and sweet candies snuck to you by your sister's mother. but then your little sister grows into her powers and then the court is attacked and it all comes crashing down.
you can point to the exact moment when the world ends: it's the moment you were meant to die. you could have saved all your siblings the grief of being born if you had just... died. instead begins your father's reign of terror. he becomes angry, your cherub-cheeked baby sister becomes your competition, and the castle you were raised in becomes raucous with whores and crying babies (no offence intended towards your younger siblings). before you come of age, you have watched the downfall of your court at your father's bloodstained hands.
at first, you take up the mantle of priestess to remind your father of your superior lineage (much like your marriage to the general). it's your mother's idea to put you down the mother's path, thinking that it might turn your father's eye to name you as heir. but deep down, you know that whatever you do will never be good enough for him. you oblige to appease her, careful not to mention the pride you take in striding through the temples.
when your father finally dies, you perform the funeral rites behind the veil of the summer court’s high priestess. one of the other high priestesses offer, but knowing your father’s obsession with public displays of power — you do it yourself. a parting gift to the man who taught you how to make a dolphin from the waves.

Huffing and puffing, the youngest dragomir sulks into a chair eyes out the window, chaos boiled in her blood, the longer she went trapped the worst it would be in the end when an idea finally struck her be entertained. "i am growing bored, tired and on top of it i am hungry again," or was it just boredom speaking, there was only so many questions she could ask and only so many times to get turned down from the knowledge for her to understand the dusk folk did not trust her, and she could not blame them, but without the excitement of knowing more the place was beginning to lose its glimmer. "have they sent you to babysit me?" she finally perks up slightly as she realizes who she speaks with.

Julissa shrugs innocently with that hint of mischievousness only the youngest dragomir could accomplish. "is not? how odd," she comments back, alina knowing her ins and outs would be considered a good thing to her, at least the expectations were set accordingly. "thank you for your merci noah, i shan't ever forget it." she says in a jokingly formal way. "i will do by best," in causing trouble that was, but that was not something she needed to tell the other or they wouldn't let her go without supervision. "enjoy your night," and that she meant from the bottom of her heart.
"lady alina won't be surprised, you are right about that. however that is not a good thing." the guard could understand that they didn't love having guards with them. but the high lady just wanted to know that her siblings were safe in this foreign court that they didn't really know of. "you're lucky i'm letting you go off and not telling on you okay? just don't cause too much trouble okay?" julissa could be a handful but she wasn't the dragomir that he was really concerned about.

The childish part of her wishes to mimic him in a very unbecoming way, but she settles for a slight roll of her eyes as she reminds herself he is simply following his duty, as she would too if she had the same orders as him. "yes, of course, duty above all." and she means it, even if she is much more faltering than noah would ever be. "our, high lady, lord noah," she corrects him with a slight amusement, a high lady that would be much unpleased with her youngest sister behavior if she was there to witness it. "i do like adventures, do you have anything in mind?"
his job as a guard was what had kept him out of his father's house, he wasn't about to throw all of that away. it was engrained into him at this point in his life. "that is my job my lady." the guard returned sternly. each of the siblings of the high lady were vastly different in how they treated him. spending time with them while working was never really a dull moment. "i do answer to your high lady, lady julissa." he reminded the other. "we can go on an adventure. search for whichever you prefer, as long as we are not going places we should not be."

The youngest lady of the summer court shrugs with ease it was after all not an odd occurrence to so. noah had perhaps been the only guard in the lot of them who made it the hardest for her, but she still saw it as challenge. “but she will not be surprised, i guarantee it. besides, what could truly go wrong?” had her mother been there to hear she would’ve scolded her, telling her she was inviting bad omens. “Common sense might as well be my middle name.” she jests, although she did not intend to do anything too reckless that night in particular.
the guard can't help but shake his head at the youngest's comment. "you know that your sister will be displeased to hear that you escaped your guard." noah wasn't fond of the dragomir's trying to escape him when he was assigned to them. though he could understand their side as well. him basically being a babysitter to kris "whatever it is that you are up to, please just have some common sense okay?".

Julissa swipes her eyes around them before focusing back on him, a mischievous look in her eyes sparks true. "so formal and respectable," she pouts in a teasing manner, julissa often was playful even with noah who often seemed entirily overtaken by discipline and duty, a stark comparison to herself who was often the most unserious person in any given room. "yeah, yeah, you starting to sound like our high lady, slightly paranoic." she shrugs, although she knew they all meant well, she sighs. "very well then, shall we go on an adventure then? perhaps seek some knowledge or treasure of sorts." she wiggles her eyebrows.
noah wasn't truly there to babysit the younger lady, but as a protection should she need it. however he wasn't the type to stand against the wall and wait for something to happen. if he had to spend hours with someone it was better to interact with them. "just as you have a job as the emissary and ambassador my lady it is my job as a guard. my spouse can wait until i am not being paid to be here." the guard explained to the young lady. "we may not believe that there is no imminent danger my lady, but anything could happen." noah was still skeptical of the land and the fae in it. "perhaps there is something else that can help cure your boredom my lady?"

The youngest dragomir offers the other one of her most charming smiles, the kind that had gotten out of many other perils. "oh thank the mother, i really thought i was going to have to lose another of you in the conmotion, i left the other unfortunate soul about twenty minutes ago, i wonder when he'll catch up." she muses. julissa shrugs, bringing one hand in front of her revealing the goblet she had been holding behind her back, "worth a shot, i suppose, to deviate your attention. can't blame me for trying, can you?"
"i am not avoiding your sister." noah simply replied to the youngest of the dragomir. the guard had been following kris around the gardens through the event to keep him out of trouble. running into the other dragomir's was bound to happen when everyone was gathered in the gardens of the castle. "you are not who i am concerned about tonight, i just happen to be here because my assignment is here my lady." the guard explained to the other. "i will not be asking your sister to dance. why would i dance with my boss?"

Julissa could not help but roll her eyes, some childish habits she had never grown out of nor encouraged to do so by the right people. "assigned to me? which means you're on babysitting duty my dear noah." she finally hufs, unsure as to why they felt the need to guard her. "i am certain you have far better things you much rather be doing, like being with your wife." she is quick to suggest. "i do not need to be watched over, truly, there is no imminent danger. in the words of others, if they wanted us harmed they would have done so since the beginning." she says with faked eloquence. "i do not believe there is anything else for me to try around here," and with her magic gone there was no need for training.
it was natural to be curious about the place that they had all found themselves. the dragomir siblings seemed to be the most curious about the court. cass was just as curious about it, already having been asked by the high lady to keep her out of trouble. while he was always watching out for his wife, he also still had to fulfill his duties as a guard to the high family. that unfortunately had him not able to be by the side of his wife constantly. however he wasn't going to let the high lady's advice only apply to his wife. the youngest being the one he was assigned to that day, he'd made his way to the common room of their quarters to find the younger female. "i have been assigned to you today my lady. is there something that you would like to do to cure your boredom maybe? i wouldn't mind escorting you somewhere."
