Book Review: Confessions of a City Girl San Diego by Juliette Sobanet
Juliette Sobanet has done it again! Another fabulous book that I could not put down. This is Juliette Sobanet's second book in the Confessions Series.
Liz Valentines intense career as a covert officer for the CIA makes it impossible to keep a man in her life. Then her partner gets killed and she blames herself for his death.
Liz is asked by her father to take a trip to San Diego to check on her sister who just got married. Liz jumped on a plane to see her sister and to relax at a yoga retreat.
She does not expect to meet the handsome yoga instructor Bradley Hunter. Liz will come to realize that Bradley Hunter has a past too that he is trying to escape from.
This book is a fast read full of fun characters that keep you entertained. The perfect book to take on vacation or just to relax with.
Juliette Sobanet is a wonderful writer. This book is well written, funny, and really hot! A story that you can't put down. You will find yourself craving a green smoothie and some sun at the beach! Happy Reading. :)

Book Review: One Night in Paris by Juliette Sobanet
Juliette Sobanet has done it again! This is Juliette Sobanet’s first short story and I absolutely loved it! ”One Night in Paris is a heartwarming and enchanting journey back to Jazz Age Paris.”
Ella gets a phone call from a nurse in Paris with bad news. Her grandmother has taken a turn for the worst in her battle against Leukemia and is not expected to make it through the week. Ella needs to get across the Atlantic very quickly! Her older boyfriend Dave is not too happy with her unexpected trip but Ella would do anything for her grandmother and jumps at the chance to see her.
When Ella was younger she used to spend a lot of time with her grandmother. Ella would arrive every June and stay until the fall in the City of Lights. Her Grandmother was like a mother to her and they were very close.
Coming back to Paris brings back so many wonderful memories for Ella.
She feels like she is coming home and did not realize how much she has missed Paris and speaking French again. Paris in the summertime is beautiful, hot, and smells delicious with all the scents of buttery croissants and French coffee in the air. Ella is so happy just to be back.
Ella arrives at her grandmother’s apartment and is rushed to her bedside. Her Grandma is so happy to see her. Ella would do anything for her grandmother and jumps at a chance to fulfill her dying wish. Her wish is for Ella to save her best friend Lucie.
Ella is transported to a swinging Parisian jazz club full of strangers in the year 1927. She only has ONE NIGHT in the city of lights, to attempt to re-write the past……….and perhaps her own destiny as well.
Ella stumbles into the mirror when she arrives back from her one night, and rushes to be by her grandmother. She made it back in time to let her know Lucie is safe and that the one night changed everything. Her grandma has one last wish for Ella. She wants Ella to promise her that she will live the life she has always dreamed of and to settle for nothing less. To truly live and be happy! That was a promise Ella intended to keep.
One Night in Paris was a beautiful and magical short story.
Juliette Sobanet does a wonderful job taking you through modern day Paris and the roaring 20′s. You feel like you are actually there. This book is full of adventure, love, hope and a little bit of magic….
