Juliet was still a little in awe of the fact that she and Cal were actually a couple. She had liked him for a while now, but it still seemed surprising that they had finally gotten past their insistence that they were just friends. Seeing him in the halls at school still had a certain novelty, striking a chord in her heart that he was her boyfriend now, and not just her friend. She practically skipped up to him when she saw him standing by his locker, grabbing his shoulder to spin him around before pushing up on her toes to kiss him. “Hello, Boyfriend,” she said happily as she pulled away.

“it’s fine, i’m fine, i’m joking,” juliet attempts to shrug it off, but she’s jittery, whether its from anxiety or the sheer amount of caffeine she’s consumed that morning, she’s not sure. “mostly joking,” she corrects. she gives the boy a sympathetic look when she takes her hand, feeling bad for making him worry about her like this. “i’m okay,” she says, slightly more convincingly now. “i’m just stressed. it’s senior year, though, that comes with the territory.” ( @brokenheartstm | continued from here )

Juliet had never been a fan exactly of party games that involved forcing people to kiss, but now she hated them a little extra. She wanted to justify the fact that she was upset by saying that she and Cal had come to this party together, but they’d only come as friends so it wasn’t a fair excuse. Especially when all of their other friends seemed so amused by Cal kissing this other girl, everyone else was cheering and joking around about it. “Okay, okay,” Juliet rolled her eyes. “Who’s next?” she questioned, just wanting to get everyone to move on from the stupid kiss.
