Hermès - Fast Forward Men 2018 from Builders Club on Vimeo.

Hermés asked us to create a retro-futuristic fashion film to help launch the new S/S18 Menswear collection at their groundbreaking “Fast Forward Men” experience in Shanghai. We created an endless floating landscape that explored gravity, time and space to conceptualise Hermés’ interstellar world of men’s fashion. We used a high speed camera to capture the male model and emphasise the constant floating/zero gravity feeling in our futuristic cubic space. This experience showcased the modern collection and defined their new Hermés man. Our metaphysical animations reflected details of the clothes’ design and vivid hues, acting as abstract metaphors for the live action component. We worked closely with Hermés to create this immersive, high-tech visual experience that encapsulates the sophisticated “Fast Forward Men” experience.
