Once her homework was finished, Taron helped Julie to bed. "Goodnight daddy, I love you" Julie said as she cuddled her toy. "I love you too my baby nugget. Have a good sleep ok?" Taron asked as he kissed his daughter's cheek. Julie giggled as his scruff tickled her. "Ok daddy." She said and Taron shut off her light and shut her door before walking to his room where his wife was waiting.  "Did you two just finish her homework?" Y/n asked with surprise. Taron nodded as he walked over to her and kissed her sweetly. "Is everything ok baby?" Y/n asked when they broke apart. "I think she may have some learning difficulties. She couldn't grasp what I was saying and when she got frustrated that she didn't understand, she cried. I think we may have to get her tested honey." Taron explained. Y/n hugged her husband. "Everything will be ok my love. We just have to have faith." Y/n replied as the couple laid down and tried to get some sleep before their youngest woke up and needed attention from his mummy and daddy.

The next morning arrived quickly and as always, Julie resisted getting up for school. She tried all of her tricks but yet again, Taron and y/n weren't fooled. "Julie honey come on. You'll be late for school." Taron called from the bottom of the staircase. Hearing this, Julie scrambled to get herself together and ran down to where her father was waiting. "Ready daddy." She said breathlessly. Taron chuckled and the pair walked out the door and he got his daughter to school. "Remember that daddy loves you. Have a good day peanut." Taron said as he dropped Julie off at her classroom. "Love you too." As Julie hurried in. Taron walked back to the car and made it home just in time for Richard to arrive and meet Bradley. 

"Look who it is." Freddy sneered. "It's the whiner baby." Suzie mocked. "I'm not a baby." Julie said as Freddy and his minions laughed at her. Before Julie could say anything else, The morning bell rang and the teacher began to speak. The school day began and Julie already felt frazzled. It was going to be an awful day, Julie could feel it. 

After lunch, the students were told that were going to have special visitors and that the visitors were going to teach the kids about safety. Julie felt her nerves rise as she saw a group of four men in her classroom. All she wanted was to have her father with her. She always felt safe around him. Taron was her hero and she felt her bravest when he was around. 

"Alright boys and girls, Who wants to go and have a look at the truck?" The older man asked. All the kids except for Julie rang out with excitement. They got into their lines and were taken outside to have a look at the firetruck. "Wow." Said Freddy. "It's so pretty." Suzie gushed. Julie on the other shuddered with fear as one of the men asked the kids if thy wanted to hear the sirens. They all cheered and Julie whimpered. The teacher, having seen this, walked up to Julie and placed her hands on the girl's shoulders as if to comfort her. As soon as the sirens started, Julie's hands flew up to her ears and she started to cry. Her teacher rubbed her back and took her back to the classroom where Julie felt a little better. "It's alright now sweetheart. Why don't you come sit here and you can read a book while I go and collect the other children." The teacher said sweetly. Julie smiled at her thankfully and sat to read her book and calm down.

When the ordeal was over, the kids got tied into their English work and Julie got even more frazzled as the day went on. School was very taxing on her and always made her scared. She hated getting picked on and as time went on, she feared that she wouldn't be able to keep it any longer and she would have to tell her parents and that's something she just didn't want to do.

Once school was over, Julie ran to the bus, sat in the back and endured more bullying from Suzie on her way home. As soon as the bus pulled up to her house, Julie's eyes landed on her father and her uncle. The biggest and brightest smile grew on her features. She was so excited to see them. "See you tomorrow Egerton." Suzie said in a threatening tone. Julie laughed nervously and ran off the bus to greet her family. "Daddy, uncle Richard." She squealed as she up to them both and threw her small arms around them. "I missed you." She said excitedly. "We missed you too Mi Pollo." Richard said as he chuckled at his nieces happiness to see him. "Why don't we go inside and wash up for dinner." Taron said.

That night Richard tucked his niece into bed and she felt safe enough to tell him about the sirens hurting her ears and the bullying that she was receiving from other students. She swore him to secrecy until she was ready to tell her parents and even though he didn't want to keep it secret, he promised her. "Alright Mi Pollo. I love you so much. you have a good sleep ok and if you eve need to talk to me again, just ask your mummy if you can call me and I'll make time for my favorite niece." Richard said as he hugged and kissed the little one's small frame. "Ok uncle Richard. I promise." Julie said with a smiled plastered on her face. The man shut off her lights and shut her door before walking downstairs.

"Thank you for putting her to bed Rich." Y/n said as she passed Bradley to Taron so that she could fix herself while her husband burped the newborn. "You're welcome sis. You need me to hang around or do you two want to head to bed before the little man wakes you?" Richard asked. "We should probably head to bed but if you want to stay here for the night and take Julie to school tomorrow, you can." Taron said as he held the baby to his chest and pat his back, waiting for him to burp. "Thanks but I might head home and I'll come by in the morning and take the cherub to school." Richard said and the adults all bid their goodbyes and Taron, his wife and his son all went to bed for the night.

Julie Egerton: Tears of Frustration!

Note: This is the next installment of the Julie Egerton series. please excuse all the mistakes in this. I did try and edit this but may have missed some things.

It had been a few days since Bradley was born and Julie was feeling a little left out. She felt like all her parents cared about was her brother. As Julie came home from school, her eyes landed on her father as he held the baby in his arms and kissed his little head. “Hello bean. How was school?” Taron asked quietly as he didn’t want to wake the boy in his arms. Julie just looked at him with tears in her eyes and ran off to her room. Once she was in her room, she sat at her little desk and got to work on her homework. Unfortunately for her, she was struggling and her tears started to fall down her cheeks as the frustration set in. 

Taron gave the baby to y/n and went to go and check on his daughter. “Nugget, can I come in?” Taron asked as he knocked on Julie’s bedroom door. “NO! Go away daddy.” Julie yelled. “Honey please?” Taron tried again but Julie ignored him. Taron opened the door to find his daughter perched at her desk doing homework, with tears streaming down her little cheeks. “Oh my darling girl. What’s the matter?” Taron asked when he saw her face. Julie catapulted herself into her father’s arms and cried some more. “You love him more than me.” Bean cried. Taron rubbed her back soothingly and rocked her side to side. “That’s not true baby nugget. You are my first born and no matter how big you get, you will always have a special place in my heart. You are my beautiful, brave an intelligent girl and you always will be. Nothing will ever change that.” Taron said softly as he ran his fingers through Julie’s hair. “I love you papa.” Julie said through her sniffles. “I love you too my little Juliebean.” Taron said as the pair pulled away and Taron went downstairs to check on his wife and son.

About an hour later, the Bells came over to meet the newest Egerton member. “Thanks for coming man.” Taron said as he gave his friend a hug. All the adults went to the living room to talk while Carwen had other plans. She was going to see Julie who was upstairs close to tears again due to her frustration. “What are you doing?” Carwen asked as she walked into Julie’s room. “I’m trying to do my homework.” Julie replied as the other little girl walked toward the desk. “That’s not how you do that.” Carwen quipped. “Yes it is.” Julie defended but Carwen just laughed. Julie tried to ignore it but when she moved on to her spelling words, Carwen had to make a comment about that as well. “You can’t spell. You’re stupid.” Carwen teased. Julie let her tears flow. She had had it with the other little girl and her teasing. She was trying her best and it didn’t help to have someone breathe down her neck and tell her that she was stupid just because she had trouble with spelling. “I’m not stupid. Now get out of my room please.” Julie said through her tears. “Why are you crying? only stupid people cry.” Carwen replied and Julie put her hands over her ears to block the other girl out. “Don’t be mean. You shouldn’t cover your ears when I’m talking to you, it’s rude.” Carwen said as she pried Julie’s hands away. Julie whined. “Stop it.” Julie yelled and this caught the attention of the two fathers downstairs.

Taron and Jamie looked at each other and stood up to go and assess the situation. When they reached Julie’s room, they found Julie in tears and Carwen holding Julie’s hands away from her ears. “Carwen, what do you think you are doing?” Jamie chided. “She’s being mean and not listening to me.” The little grl replied. “I’m not being mean. She was making fun of me and I didn’t like it so I covered my ears but she pulled my hands away and hurt me.” Julie explained as she buried her face into her father’s shoulder. “Carwen is this true?” Jamie asked sternly. The girl nodded her head and looked at the floor sheepishly. “What did you do?” The father asked his now guilty daughter. “I told her she was stupid.” Carwen mumbled just above a whisper. “You shouldn’t do things like that. That was very rude. You need to apologise and then come downstairs. we are going to leave soon.” Jamie chided. Carwen turned to Julie and bit her lower lip. “I’m sorry Julie.” Carwen said as her own tears threatened to spill from her eyes. “Thank you.” Julie muttered. “Good, let’s go.” Jamie said as he took his daughter’s hand and walked her down the stairs. Taron on the other hand, carried his daughter downstairs so that they could all say goodbye.

Later that night, Taron helped Julie with her homework and it was here that he realized that his little princess may have some learning difficulties. He made a point to talk to his wife about it when he went up for bed.

I know this is short but I have had a lot going on and with October coming up, I’m trying to get some prompts up so that I can write an imagine a day for 31 days. Julie Egerton: Meet Bradley!

This is the next installment of the Julie Egerton series.

It was a peaceful Saturday morning in the Egerton household until Julie decided to wake up early and catapult her little body over her father's sleeping form. He grunted at the sudden force and snapped his eyes open to see his daughter sitting on his stomach. "Good morning nugget." He greeted sleepily. "Hi daddy." She smiled. "Why are you up so early?" Taron asked as he tried to sit up a little. "can we make mummy breakfast?" Julie asked as her father rubbed his eyes and yawned. They both looked at Y/N who was sound asleep with her handing resting on her pregnant belly. Taron smiled as he felt pride swell in his heart for his growing family. "Let's go down and we can talk about what to make." The father replied as he and Julie got up and made their way down to the kitchen. Once there he grabbed an elastic band and tied Julie's hair into a high ponytail so that her hair was out of her face. "Ok baby girl, what shall we make for mummy?" Taron asked as he worked on putting an apron on the bean. "I think we should make her pancakes and tea." Julie suggested happily. "Sounds good to me Jules. You wash your hands and I'll get everything out." He said as he helped his daughter to the sink with her stool. Helped her put the soap in her little hands and ran the water for her to do the rest.

Everything was collected, hands were washed and the food was now cooking. the only thing left to do was make the tea. "Ok my darling, lead the way." Taron said as he picked up the tray of food and followed Julie upstairs. Julie pushed her parent's bedroom door open and walked over to Y/N. "Mummy." The little girl said in a hushed tone as she gently shook her mother awake. "Daddy and I made breakfast." Julie said proudly as Y/N let a sleepy smile grow on her lips. "You did?" Y/N asked as she attempted to sit up. Taron noticed her struggle so he placed the tray of food down and helped her get comfortable. The parents shared a smile and Julie plopped herself in the middle of the bed. The family ate the food in a happy silence.

Once they had all made their way down stairs after getting ready for the day. Y/N wanted to go out and get some last minute thing for the baby's arrival soon. Taron got Julie secured into her seat in the back of the car and then helped his wife get in before starting the vehicle and driving to where Y/N wanted. "What do you think we should get for the baby?" Y/N asked to no one in particular as the family walked around the grocery shop. Mind you, Taron carried Julie as the atmosphere was making her shyness kick into high gear. It was clear to anyone passing by that Taron adored his little girl and loved his wife as he held Y/N's hand with his free one. "How about some nappies. I feel like we need more than what we have already." Y/N said as they walked to the baby supply isle. When all the items had been bought, it was a little past 1:30pm and Y/N was beginning to feel hungry again so they paid for their shopping and went to their favorite café.

"What do you want to eat?" Y/N asked her daughter who was by now burrowing her face into her father's side. Julie mumbled against him. "Honey speak up please. I can't hear you." Y/N said as she rubbed her belly to try and calm down the familiar feeling of contractions. Taron could see in his wife's eyes that she was feeling discomfort. He gave her a concerned look and Y/N shook her head, telling him not to make a big deal. He let it go and they turned their attention to the small child buried in Taron's side. "Chicken nuggets." Julie said a little louder. Just loud enough for her mother to hear. Y/N smiled and went to order against Taron's silent plea of her sitting still. "It's alright Cariad." Taron said as he rubbed Julie's small back after seeing her wrap her little arms around him as best she could. "Food shouldn't be too long." Y/N said as she sauntered back to her husband and daughter. "Baby I really think we should go home." Taron said. "Relax T, this is not my first rodeo you know." She replied calmly. "Tell me if anything changes please." He said as Y/N nodded her head in agreement. "Daddy can we go?" Julie asked quietly as she looked at him with tears in her eyes. "No my sweet chip. I'm right here though, so is mummy." He responded as he pulled Julie on to his lap and allowed her to hide her face in his chest. The beat of his heart calming the girl down slightly. It wasn't long before their food came and they started eating. Julie was now facing her mother as they ate. Taron had one arm holding his daughter in place protectively.

Just as Y/N picked up her water, she felt a sharper pain then before but didn't let on. She looked at her husband and smiled. "I have to use the restroom babe. I'll be back in a few minutes." Y/N said. Taron watched her walk off and then looked down to see the nugget looking up at him. He smiled at her and kissed the top of her head. A few minutes later, Y/N came back with her face looking flushed. "Y/N you ok?" Taron asked as he saw the look on her face. "I think we should go now." She smiled and tried to stay calm. Taron nodded and they collected their things and got into the car. "What happened In there?" Taron asked. "My water broke." She replied as Taron suddenly pulled over. Taron felt his heart stop and the panic set in. "Where do we take this one?" Taron asked with a panicked tone as he pointed at the girl in the back. "First of all, breath my love. Second of all, we can go home and get the bags and on the way home we can call someone and ask if they can watch her." Y/N said. "Ok. Do you need something to sit on?" Taron asked. "Taron calm down. Why do you think I'm sitting on my coat?" She replied calmly as she ran her hand over his cheek. "Just drive and I'll call someone to watch Julie." She continued. Y/N called people while Taron drove but unfortunately, no one was available to watch Julie. Y/N Groaned in annoyance. "No one can watch her." She replied as Taron faced her briefly. He pulled into the garage and they made their way into the house.

"Taron what are we going to do?" Y/N said as another contraction hit her. Taron rubbed her back. "What about Elton?" Taron suggested. Y/N looked up at him and smiled. "You call him. I have to sit down and breathe." Y/N said as Taron walked off to do just that. He came back a few minutes with a relieved expression his face. "They said they will happily look after her." He said as he sat next to his wife. They heard Julie come downstairs and squeezed her body between her parents. "Is mummy ok?" Julie asked as she looked at her father. Taron looked at Y/N who nodded her head as if giving him permission to tell their daughter that her sibling was on their way. "Mum's fine. It's just time for the baby to be born. That's all Cariad." Taron explained as he pulled her close to him as he prepared for what her reaction would be to her staying with Elton and David while he and his wife were at the hospital. "I think we need to go to the hospital T. It's starting to hurt really bad." Y/N said as she suddenly sat forward. "Just breath baby. It's alright." Taron said as he tried to stay calm. "Let's go. Text David in the car and tell him to meet us at the hospital." Y/N breathed out. They all piled into the car once again and drove to the hospital.

"Ok. Baby girl, I need you to stay with mummy for a minute ok. Rub her back right here. Be brave for me." Taron said as he got out of the car and ran to get a wheelchair for Y/N. "Mummy." Julie said as Y/N let out a rather loud moan. "It's ok baby. I'm fine" The mother replied as Taron came running back with a nurse in tow. He opened the car door and let the nurse help Y/N out of the car as he grabbed his scared daughter. "It's ok sweet chip. Mummy's fine." Taron whispered into her ear as he held her close to him. He grabbed the bag and he and Julie followed behind the nurse. Just as they entered the building, David came running up to him. "David, thank you for coming." Taron said with relief. Julie whimpered and held on to her father's neck a little tighter. The three of them walked into the room where Y/N was waiting. "Thank you for taking her David." Y/N said as she breathed out. "Daddy?" Julie asked with confusion at her mother's comment. Taron placed Julie down and kneeled in front of her. "Cariad I need you to be brave for me and go with uncle David ok?" He questioned. Julie shook her head and her eyes grew glossy. "No." She replied. "You'll get to see Elton." Y/N tried before another contraction ripped through her abdomen. Taron scrambled to his feet was by her side in a flash.

When the contraction was done, Taron went back to Julie. "Honey, it's ok but I need to be here for mummy right now." Taron explained. "And as soon as the baby is here, you can come and meet them ok?" Taron continued. "Come on my darling. I'll take you for ice-cream." David offered as he held his hand out for her to take. "T, go with them to the car. I'll be ok for a few minutes." Y/N said and Taron left the his daughter and David. Taron managed top get Julie to go with David and with next hour, he and Julie made it back to his house that he shared with Elton. Julie was quiet the entire time that she was there and after awhile, fell asleep.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital Y/N held her husband's hand as she pushed. "You're doing so well Y/N. Just give me one more push." The doctor said as Y/N did as she was told. Before the couple knew it, the room was filled with the shrill sound of a baby's cries. Y/n opened her eyes and started crying as did Taron. The doctor placed the baby on Y/N's chest. Taron looked at his wife and child with pride. He now had two beautiful children. "I love you Taron." Y/N said as she looked at her husband. "I love you too my beautiful darling." He replied as he leaned down to kiss her. "We have a son." Y/N said as she smiled. "We sure do. I'm so proud of you." Taron said as their son was whisked away to be cleaned up. When their baby was returned, Taron took out his phone and took a picture of the little boy and sent it to both David and Elton to let them know that the baby was here.

Of course he also sent the picture to the rest of their family and friends. Taron got an instant reply from Elton that congratulated them on becoming parents again and also said that they bring Julie down as soon as she woke up. A few hours later, Elton, David, the boys and Julie walked through the entrance of the hospital and texted Taron to let him know that they had arrived. Taron met them at the front desk and Julie ran into her father's arms. "I missed you daddy." I missed you too peanut." He replied as they walked to where Y/N and the baby were waiting. Once they arrived at the room, Julie knocked on the door. "Hello." Y/N replied tiredly in a sing song voice. Taron helped his daughter open the door and everyone followed. "Mummy." Julie said happily. "Hello my darling." Y/N replied as the little girl, who was holding her father's hand, walked closer to her mother. Taron helped Julie on to the bed beside her mother and she looked at her new sibling. 

She clung to her father tighter than before. "Do you want to hold him?" Y/N asked. Julie shook her head and buried it into her father's side. Everyone giggled at her response which made Julie even shyer. "Do either of you want to hold him?" Y/N asked offering Elton and David a chance to bond with her and Taron's new baby. "I'll hold him." Elton said as Y/N passed the baby to him. Elton smiled down at the boy. "He's beautiful you two." David said. "What's his name?" David continued. The new parents shared a look and Y/N nodded. "His name is Bradley Elton Egerton." Taron replied with a wide smile. Elton snapped his head up at the younger man. "Are you sure?" Elton asked in shock. "Absolutely." Y/N replied. Elton smiled wide. "You've been a big part of our lives and we wanted to honour you in a special way." Y/N said as her head fell back on the pillow. Everyone continued to talk amongst themselves until Elton, David and the children left, leaving the family of four behind. 

"This was the most amazing day." Taron whispered to Julie as they looked at Bradley sound a sleep in Taron's arms. Y/n had fallen asleep and it gave Taron a chance to bond with his children. Soon enough Julie fell asleep and Taron put Bradley back into his bassinet and fell asleep himself with the biggest smile on his face.

Julie Egerton: Punishment!

Chapter Five:

Mondays were the worst for Julie because that meant that she would have to go to school. She groaned as she threw the covers over her head in the hopes that she would be invisible. To her dismay, Y/N walked in. "Julie, time to get up and get ready for school." Y/N ��said as she opened the little girl's drapes. Julie didn't answer. "Julie." Y/N said again as she gently shook the child. Still the girl didn't budge. "Julianne, up now please." Y/N repeated for the third time as she pulled the covers off of Julie. Julie looked at her mother. "Your father is bringing your breakfast this morning." The woman said as she got up and left the little bean alone. All of a sudden, a lightbulb went off in Julie's head.

"Morning Dais." Taron said as he entered the room. Julie let out a strained cough and contorted her face in mock pain. "You trying to mess with daddy again?" He asked as the girl shook her head. Taron put the breakfast tray down on the little table beside the bed and sat down next to his daughter on the bed. She just laid there looking at him. He looks back at her and pulled one of his goofy faces which in turn makes Julie mad. 

She grunted at him and buried her head into her pillows. Taron knew that she was faking at that point. "You little trickster you. You are too clever for your own good." He said as he tickled her. "Stop." Julie said through a fit of giggles. "Eat up and then get ready for school. Ok?" Taron said as he got up and exited the room.

"Is she eating?" Y/N asked as her husband entered the kitchen. Taron looked at her but didn't say anything. He gave her a look similar to the one that he gave his daughter a few minutes ago. Y/N groaned. "Not again." She whined. Taron hugged her and Julie came down clad in her school uniform. "Julianne Rosemary, did you fake sick again?" Y/N asked with authority. "Oh no! I'm gonna be late! And the headmistress is the substitute teacher today and we have a quiz and she might punish me real bad! And I'm no good with numbers, I'll fail for sure." Julie explained quickly. Taron gave his daughter a sympathetic look. 

"Come on Dais, let's go." He said as he grabbed his wallet and car keys and held his hand out for Julie to take.

Taron got Julie settled into the seat next to him and then got himself situated in the car. As they drove down the road, Julie spoke up. "Daddy, can you sing to me please?" Julie asked. "Of course." He replied as he started to sing. Bean smiled as the sound of his voice soothed her. By the time that Taron had finished singing the song, they had arrived at the school. "Alright my love, have a great day." He said as Julie took her seatbelt off and hugged him. "love you." She replied as she got out of the car. Julie walked toward her classroom but started to get frazzled when she realized that she had forgotten where it was. Taron saw this from the car and decided to park the car and offer to walk with her. "Want me to walk with you Cariad?" He asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder. She nodded. "Yes please daddy." She replied softly as she took hold of his hand. When they got to the classroom, Taron said goodbye to her one last time and walked back to the car.

Julie walked into the room and was met with Mrs. R's intense gaze. The little girl scampered to her seat and Mrs. R started the lesson. "In today's lesson, we will be doing a math quiz." Mrs. Rodriguez said as she handed the children their math sheets. "You have 35 minutes to complete the test. The time starts now." The woman spoke as she looked down at her watch. Julie looked down at the paper and felt like crying as was scared that she would fail the test. The test took Julie a little longer to complete as the words seemed to jumble, making it hard for the little nugget to concentrate. Once she was finished with he quiz, she looked up and saw that everyone was staring at her, including the principal. Julie's face went red and she shrunk down in her seat a little bit. "Now that Miss Egerton is finished, we can now mark our tests." The woman spoke harshly as she wrote the answers on the white board at the front of the room. This caused Julie to become even more frazzled than she was before. The words continued to jumble and Julie gave up on marking her test.

"Let's go around the room and share our score with everyone." Mrs. R said as she looked pointedly at Julie. "Suzie, we will start with you." Mrs. R continued. "20/20." Suzie gloated. One by one, the students told the class what their score was. "Julie, what's your score?" The teacher spoke as crossed her arms in distain. "Um." Julie squeaked out. "Are you a mouse Julie?" Mrs. R asked. Julie's eyes grew wide and glossy with fear. "0/20." The little bean whispered.  Mrs. Rodriguez huffed. Julie spoke louder and the teach scoffed. Just before the teacher could say anything more, the bell rang for lunch. "Julie, stay behind. Everyone else may go." The teacher said, denying the poor girl any lunch. Julie stayed in her seat and started shaking in fear. "Follow me." The woman spoke plainly. Julie followed slowly behind. They walked to the janitor's office and Mrs. R knocked on the door. "Good morning Mrs. Rodriguez." The man spoke. "John, Julie here is going to help you clean the boys restroom." She spoke as Julie looked at her in shock. The janitor smiled and Mrs. R took her leave.

"Well kid, it looks like it's just you and me." John spoke. Julie nodded in sadness. They walked to the back of the office and the janitor armed Julie with gloves, a coat incase of splashes and a mask to place over her mouth to protect her lungs from the harsh chemicals. The nugget felt so humiliated and just wanted the ground to swallow her whole. Once they arrived at the boys restroom, Julie just stood there not wanting to move. "Come on kid. It's not that bad." The janitor spoke as he nudged the girl forward.

When everything was clean, Julie was allowed to go back to class. Thankfully it was free time which meant that she could draw or read and do something to get her mind off of having to clean the disgusting sight that was the boys restroom. When she was back in class, she grabbed a book on boats and a sketch pad and sat at her desk. Julie decided to draw a little sail boat on water with birds in the sky. 

Just as she was colouring in the water, Freddy, Johnny and Suzie snatched the picture and started mocking her. "This is stupid." Suzie teased. "No it's not." Julie defended. "Yes it is. You can't draw right." Freddy and Johnny joined in. This continued until free time was over. The rest of the day went alright but all Julie wanted was to go home and see her father.

Finally the home bell rang. Julie grabbed her crumpled up picture and her school bag and made a beeline for the bus stop. When the bus pulled up in front of her house, Julie grabbed her bag and rushed off. She ran up to her father who was waiting on the front step for her. "How was school Cariad?" T asked as he and Julie walked into the house. "Fine I guess." Bean sighed. "Just fine?" He asked as they walked into the kitchen so that Julie could clean out her lunch box. Julie nodded and placed the box on the counter and left her father to clean it while she went upstairs and get changed. She took her sweet time and getting changed and by the time she was done, her mother was home. "Baby girl, mum's home." Taron called from the bottom of the staircase. Julie's footsteps could be heard coming down the stairs. "Hi Julie, how was school?" Y/N asked as she hugged her daughter. "It was fine." Julie replied softly. Y/N looked at her husband and gave him a look. He smiled at his wife. "Dinner is ready you two." Taron said after a few minutes. "It smells so good babe." Y/N replied as she helped Julie get settled at the table.

"I'm not hungry." Julie said as she played with her food. "Honey, you need to eat." Y/N warned as the little girl groaned. "Come on." Y/N said again. As Julie picked up her fork and stabbed a carrot, she felt cold and sick to her stomach. She put her fork down and stood up. "I don't feel well." Julie said as she clutched her stomach. "Julianne, sit down." Y/N said. Before she could sit down, Julie threw up. Taron jumped up and so did Y/N. "Julie." Y/N moaned as she herself started to gag. "Y/N go upstairs, I'll take care of this." Taron said as he picked Julie up and sat her on the sofa with a bowl just in case she threw up again. He cleaned everything up and went back to Jules.

"Come here Cariad." Taron said as he picked the little one up and held her close to him. She cried as he softly sang hey Jules (hey Jude but changing Jude to Jules.) to her. Once she had calmed down, Taron spoke up. "You want to tell me what happened at school today?" He asked as the girl looked at him. His heart broke for her. "I got extra homework and had to clean the boys loo today." Julie stuttered. "What? Why?" The father asked. "I failed my math test." She admitted as she laid her head on his chest again. Taron was furious and couldn't believe that she would be punished for failing a test, let alone be given that punishment.

He continued to comfort his peanut until he was sure that she was calm. "Let's put you to bed." He said as he stood up with the bean still safe in his arms. He carefully placed her on her bed and tucked her in. "Goodnight sweet girl, sleep well." He whispered. "Daddy, can you stay with me?" She asked. He nodded and crawled in beside her and soon enough, Julie was asleep.

Julie Egerton Ch.7: Baby Shower.

This is the 7th instalment of the Julie Egerton series. ===

Friday night was usually a special night for Julie because that meant that there was no more school for a couple days and because she and her parents had Friday night tea and a special treat. Tonight it was a biscuit. "Taron, why don't you spend time with Julie tonight. I'm really tired." Y/N said as she walked toward her husband. "You sure?" He asked. Y/N nodded her head and hugged him. "I love you babe." Taron whispered. "I love you too." She replied as she pulled away from him. She started walking away when she turned around. "T, make sure you tell Julie that you aren't coming tomorrow." Y/N said as he nodded. She walked upstairs to say goodnight to her daughter. "Julie, I'm going to bed so it's just you and daddy tonight." She said as she hugged the young girl. "Goodnight." Julie replied as her mother pulled away and walked toward her room. After that, the little girl ran downstairs to see her father placing tea and their biscuits on the coffee table. "What movie do you want to watch nugget?" He asked his daughter. The little girl plopped her small body on the sofa. "I don't know daddy." She said dramatically.  Taron laughed and shook his head at her antics. "Eddie!" Julie cried out loud. "Julie be quiet." Taron warned as he put the dvd in. He walked over to the sofa, sat down and pulled Julie on to his lap where he played with her hair.

By the end of the movie, Julie was now facing her father, staring at him. "What's going on in that head of yours baby girl?" Taron asked as he wrapped his arms loosely around her. "What are you going to wear tomorrow?" Julie asked and Taron felt his heart sink. "Well peanut that's the thing, I won't be there." He replied carefully. Julie broke out into giggles. "Are you trying to kid me daddy?" Julie asks through her giggles. Taron gave her a sheepish look.

            (^^A/N: I know that this isn't a sheepish look but I like it.^^)

Julie looked at him in question. Still not getting that he was serious. "But why not daddy?" She asked hoping that he in fact was kidding. "Because Cariad, I have to work." He replied. "But it's Saturday!" Julie said, beginning to panic. "I know Jules but I can't change it." Taron responded. "Can I go with you? I don't want to be around all of you and mummy's friends and all their kids without you there!" She said as her eyes grew glossy with tears. Taron brushed her hair back softly. "Baby girl, I need you here to look after mummy." He replied. "Can you do that for me?" He continued as Julie let her tears flow as she cried loudly. She buried her little head into her father's chest. Taron hugged her and rubbed her back. "It's ok peanut. Just take a deep breath for me." T said as he kissed the top of his daughter's head as she continued to sob into him. Eventually, she calmed down enough to look up at him. "Will any of my family be there?" She asked. Taron smiled at her. "Yes. Your aunts and cousin and other family will be there." He responded.

Although she felt slightly better, she still wanted her father there. "Can you cancel work though daddy?" Julie asked just above a whisper. "No bug, I'm sorry I can't. I wish I could but I just can't." He replied as he rubbed Julie's back again. The little girl sniffled. "I'll stay in my room and pretend to be sick again." She said with slight stubbornness. "Baby girl, it won't be that bad. When I come home, you can tell me all about it. And you know that your aunts and cousin will take care of you while I'm gone." Taron explained. "I'm sacred daddy." She replied as her eyes grew glossy again. "I know you are sweet chip but I promise that it will be ok." He said and Julie nodded as she calmed down a little bit. "So why do you have to work on Saturday?" The bean asked. "Because the deadline for filming ends on Monday and we still have quite a bit to film." Taron explained. "Oh...Ok?" Julie said skeptically. Taron kissed her little cheek and looked at her with a warm smile. "Guess what?" He said with a hint of cheekiness. "What?" Julie questioned. "I love you so much, Bug." He said as he hugged and kissed her again. "I love you daddy." The little one replied as she laid her head against her father. "I'll miss you." She mumbled. "I'll miss you too Cariad." He said as he stood up and put Julie to bed.

The next morning Y/N was rushing around to get ready before everyone arrived. Taron had left about an hour prior and Julie was upset and just wanted everything to be over. "Julie, they're here!" Y/N called as she let her mother-in-law, Taron's sisters, her mother, her sisters, and her niece into the house. "You look beautiful." Rosie gushed. Everyone nodded in agreement. "Thank you sweetheart." Y/N replied. "Shall I go and get Julie?" Tina asked. Y/N smiled. "Thank you but I'll go her. Please make yourselves comfortable." She said as she walked to her daughter's room. Y/N softly knocked on the door. "Come in." Julie sniffled. "Oh sweetheart." Y/N said as she saw Julie's tearstained face. Julie ran to her mother and Y/N bent down the best that she could and wrapped her arms around the small child. "Can I stay here?" Julie asked after a few minutes. "No my darling. Nan wants to see you." She said, referring to Taron's mother. Julie shook her head as they pulled apart so that Y/N could stand up. "Come on. A hug from nan and grammy will cheer you up." The mother said as she took hold of the nugget's hand. They walked downstairs.

"Julie, you look beautiful." Lauren cooed. Julie hid behind her mother. "Thanks." She replied shortly. One by one, more people arrived and Julie went into full shy mode. She barely spoke two words and that didn't sit too well with an elderly lady by the name of Mrs. Jennings. "Hello dear. How are you?" The lady spoke as she sat down next to a fearful Julie. "Good." Julie said quietly. "Are you excited to be a big sister?" Mrs. Jennings asked again but this time Julie didn't respond. She just shrunk back and let out a small whimper. Rosie, Mari and Eilidh saw just how shy their niece and cousin was getting shyer by the second. "you are a shy little thing aren't you." Mrs. Jennings noted with some distain. Julie's eyes grew glossy once again.

The three girls walked up to their relative and whisked her back into the house and to Julie's room. "It's ok Oreo. You are safe now." Rosie said as she hugged her niece. "Thank you." Julie sniffled. "You're welcome." Eilidh replied with a smile. "Want to play a game?" Mari asked as she looked at the games that Julie had in her game cabinet. The other girls nodded their heads and decided to play Hungry Hungry Hippos. "how many did you get Julie?" Eilidh asked. Julie froze. "It's ok. Let's count together." Rosie replied as she and Julie counted. "Good job Oreo. You won!" Mari cheered happily. After a few more rounds, the girls decided to ask Y/N if they could watch a movie. Y/N agreed and told the girls that they could go into her and Taron's room to watch the film. The girls put Mama Mia in and for the rest of the shower, they sang, danced and laughed.

Once the shower had ended, the girls filed downstairs. "Did you girls have fun up there?" Y/N asked. Julie smiled slightly and nodded. "We watched Mama Mia." Julie announced happily. Y/N laughed and she and Julie said goodbye to everyone. "Thank you girls for looking after the jellybean." Y/N said as she hugged her niece and sister-in-laws. "It was fun today. Julie is a good kid." Rosie replied with a sweet smile. Before long, the house was empty except for the mother and daughter. "Want to help me make a plate of food for your daddy?" Y/N asked. Julie nodded and ran ahead of her waddling mother.

About an hour and half later, Taron walked through the door and Julie ran to him. "Daddy!" She screeched. "Hello love." He replied happily. "Where is mummy?" Taron asked as he placed the girl down. "On the sofa reading a book." She said as they walked to the lounge room. "How was your day Y/N?" He asked as he sat down next to her and pulled Julie on to his lap. "It was great but now that you are home, I think I'm going to go and have a bath. My back is killing me." She said as she struggled to get off the sofa. Taron lifted Julie off his lap and he stood up to help his wife up. "Thank you." She said as he pulled her up slowly. She gave him a quick kiss and made her way upstairs. "Well Cariad, looks like it's you and me." Taron said. "Yeah." She giggled. "Mum and I made you food in the fridge. I'll show you. " Julie continued as she grabbed his hand and led him to the fridge. Taron took the plate out of the fridge and walked to the table to eat. Julie sat across from him and while he ate.

When Taron was done eating, he and Julie went back to the sofa. Julie climbed into her fathers lap and face him. "Did you have fun with your aunts and cousin today?" Taron asked as Julie played with a button on his shirt. "Yeah. There was a mean lady but they took me to my room and we played a game and then we watched a movie." The little girl explained. Taron smiled with pride for what his sisters and Eilidh had done for his daughter. "What movie did you watch?" He asked. "Mama Mia." Julie replied simply. Taron burst out laughing and Julie just stared at him. "That's your favourite movie." Taron stated. "No butt nuggets!" Julie sassed seriously. Taron pulled one of his faces in mock offence.

(^^I know that this doesn't really scream mock offence but let's just face it, his expressions are the best.^^)

Julie rolled her eyes at her father leaned into him. "I hate you daddy." Julie mumbled in annoyance. Taron gasped. "You hate me?" He asked sassily. Taron started to lightly poke at his daughter to make her laugh and when she didn't budge, he started to tickle her. Julie bursted out in laughter. "Stop." the bean squealed through her giggles. The pair carried on like this until Y/N came downstairs and the small family enjoyed the rest of the evening together.

Julie Egerton Ch 6:

The next morning Taron woke up and went to wake Julie up. "Jules, it's time to get up Cariad." He said as he gently shook her. "I don't feel good daddy." She groaned. Taron smiled sadly. "Come on bean. How about we go downstairs and you can help make breakfast and then I'll take you to school today." He offered. Julie sighed. "Come on." T said as he picked Julie up and walked downstairs with her. She laid her head on his shoulder. He walked into the kitchen and set up a stool for Julie to stand on so that she could help make oatmeal. The little girl was reluctant to let go of her father as he placed her on the stool. "Alright baby nugget. Let's put this on you." He said as he put an apron on her. He got out the things that they needed. Soon enough, the food was ready and the father daughter duo sat at the table to eat.

Y/N came downstairs. "Taron, have you seen Julie?" She asked, not seeing the little girl at the table. "She's right here babe." He said as he smiled at the bean. "Why don't you go and get ready for school ok?" Taron said as he stood up from his seat. "O-ok." Julie stuttered as she sauntered upstairs. "I'll take her to school today. I want to have a little chat with the headmistress." T said as he hugged his wife. "Why? What happened?" Y/N asked. "Jules had to clean the boys loo at school yesterday and then was given extra homework." He explained. Y/N quirked her brow. "She failed her math test and the headmistress felt it necessary to give her that punishment." Taron explained farther, feeling himself getting fired up. Just before Y/N had a chance to say anything else, Julie came downstairs ready for school. "Alright bug, come give mum a hug and we will get going." Taron said as he grabbed what he needed. "Bye baby. I love you." Y/N said as she said goodbye. Julie went to get her shoes on and Y/N had a quick word with her husband. "Keep your cool T. I know you love her and want to protect her but don't say anything that you will have to apologize for." She said as hugged him. "I love you." She said as they pulled apart. "I love you too." Taron replied as he gave his wife a quick kiss before disappearing out the door with their daughter in tow.

Taron parked the car and helped his daughter out of the car and walked her to her class. He said goodbye to her and went straight to the office. "Good morning, what can I do for you?" The receptionist asked. "Hello. Is Mrs. Rodrigues in?" Taron asked whilst trying to calm himself. "If you take a seat, I'll have a look." The lady spoke again with a kind smile. Y/N's words played themselves in his head and he knew that she was right. He had to keep his head and take a deep breath. "If you follow me, I'll take you to her office." The receptionist spoke as she stood in front of the father. "Thank you." He replied as she left him in front of the principal's office.  

He knocked on the door and waited for an answer. "Come in." The woman spoke. Taron opened the door and walked in. "Mr. Egerton, please have a seat. What can I do for you?" She asked with a sugary sweet tone. Taron inwardly gagged. "My daughter came home yesterday and told me that you had her clean the boys loo in punishment for failing her math test. Now, what I would like to know, from you, is this true?" He asked with authority. Mrs. Rodriguez looked taken back by his accusation. "Why would I do that?" She asked innocently. "You tell me." Taron said, leaning forward.

"Well I'm not sure. Maybe she's lying." She squeaked. "My daughter is not a liar. If I ever hear that you have done this again, let's put it this way, you better pray that I don't find out. Is that clear?" Taron warned. The woman stared at him and blinked. She slowly nodded her head and Taron abruptly stood up and walked out of the office leaving Mrs. Rodriguez feeling vulnerable. She cleared her throat and went on with her day as best as she could.

"How was school today Cariad?" Taron said as he watched his daughter get off the bus and rush toward him. "I missed you daddy." She replied, ignoring his question. In all honesty, her day was the same as usual. Being teased by the kids in her class and being bullied by her headmistress was Julie's new normal and for someone so young, she just wanted her father. They walked into the house together and Taron helped Julie with her homework. 

"It's too hard." Julie whined as she threw her pencil on the table. "First of all little lady, don't throw things and second of all, what are you having trouble with?" Taron asked as rubbed the bean's back. She looked at him with a frown. "All of it." She huffed. "Tell you what, let's have a break and then after dinner I can help you and we will do it together ok?" He proposed. Julie nodded. Taron picked her up and went into the kitchen with her to make dinner.

Well there chapter 6. I know that it’s a lot shorter than chapter 5 but I still feel like this is a good length. That being said, I hope that enjoy this. Please share it with your friends.
