My Sundrop & Moondrop headcanons

Since I’m (almost) done with my fic, I figured I’d throw some of my headcanons out there because why not

🌞 This interpretation of Sun & Moon are dead-on for how I imagine their voices & personalities. LOVE these voice actors, and the art style for them is super cute too!

🌜 Moon is much gentler during the day, but still has his harsher, more villainous personality at night, even after Vanny is gone. He feels responsible on some level for children going missing and for Sunny being afraid of him, and it frustrates him. So he takes it out on night staff (in a non-violent way).

🌗 They’re both theatrical dorks in their own right and would probably love to perform in Broadway musicals. They sometimes organize entire play scripts for the kids to volunteer and audition for.

🌞  Sunny is very childlike, but isn't stupid or naive by any means. He knows how to tackle harsher topics (children having medical & mental health needs, familial death, etc) with utmost care and wisdom.

🌜 Moon likes a lot of darker-themed media. He believes there's a unique kind of artistic merit to it, and valuable life lessons that can be learned in content that isn't entirely 'happy' or innocent. The only thing he dislikes is any media in which children are getting hurt or killed.

🌞 The idea of Sunny being jealous of Freddy in my fic is a bit inspired by JulianDraws’ villain AU for him. I fully believe that, in a scenario where this poor bot - who is already clingy and on the verge of a mental breakdown -  had zero friends and felt like he had to live in Freddy's shadow, he would absolutely become an unhinged yandere fueled by spite and an ache to fill a void in his metal heart. But we don’t gotta worry about that, right?? Right

🌜 Moon loves tickling the night staff half to death because he claims it’s a power move. He loves reducing the big tough adults into crumpled giggly heaps; mostly to feel like he has the upper hand again after everything that happened from Vanny.  But more than that, he just genuinely loves laughter. He thinks it’s adorable how easily us squishy humans crumble~

🌗 They both enjoy being tickled (though I personally don’t see them being ticklish except via like, electricity or motorized tools/equipment in Parts and Service) - Moon is just more hesitant to allow people to tickle him. Sunny enjoys more intense tickles; Moon prefers gentle to moderate. 🌞 Sun’s eyes can glow red like Moon’s. But only if someone dun fucked up real bad and like, hurts a child in front of him or if he learns of a child abuser/ pr*dator in the vicinity. 🌜 I know the commonly accepted headcanon for “uncorrupted” Moon’s eyes is that they are 1.) Blue, like his plushie, or 2.) naturally red because red-light helps people sleep. But I’ve seen a couple interpretations of him with yellow eyes (the main one being from this adorable TikTok story of the two of them looking after a small girl ), and I just really freaking love the yellow. It makes good contrast to Sunny’s color palette, and matches his stars.

God I saw that rumor on twitter through Juliandraws group. Something something about the DA attendant was at least 9ft tall because they hunch over and Glamrock Freddy had to at least be 7 feet or something? It was like people calling there height speculations in UT “canon” when literally no we don’t know the heights until the models could be set side by side.

A friend mentioned that I draw Sun too tall… I disagree I feel like they could be taller U_U
