Can someone please give me a good video rundown of Julia Vickerman(the Twelve Forever creator)'s allegations that isn't from an antiwoke altlight weirdo?

I'm not asking because I think the allegations 'must be false' or coming from a place of malice-- sa allegations NEED to be taken seriously and if it was bad enough to end her series than I don't doubt there's some weight to them.

Mostly I just really don't want to get my resources from people who also whine about racelifting and how "people being diverse = ugly". Gross. Ick.

Hi Everyone!! Here is another next gen for my Blossom Love AU. Gage's parents are Galaxander and Pharynx. Gage is super sweet and loves to help people with various different tasks. He's also super supportive, understanding and is always there if his friends ever need to talk to him about anything that's bothering them. Gage is also Pansexual, meaning that he falls in love with anyone despite their gender orientation. Credit goes to Selenaede for the base I used and to Julia Vickerman, Netflix, Lauren Faust and Hasbro for creating Twelve Forever and My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic as well as creating the characters Galaxander and Pharynx as well. I only take credit for my next gens, art, ships, stories and the Blossom Love AU. I hope you guys like him!!!

I have a question do you have a favorite villain? And do you have villains that you would like to win?

because personally i don’t mind a show or a movie that has a villain win and take the spotlight

When it comes to if there was a villain I wish would win, the villain from 12 forever.

Also, she deserves a better name

This whole show was kind of meh to me.

It had a great concept, good animation, and the villian was great!

And when I say I think she should have won, I don't just mean that because she's my favorite character from 12Forever, but because it makes sense.

If her whole representation was meant to be Womanhood and the whole show is about puberty and the feeling of not wanting to grow up yet.

It makes sense that eventually 12 would have to come to terms with the fact that she IS growing up. Nothing can stop that. No one is immune to the Roar of Time.

And it's scary, but comes with so much good in it too! They really could have had something great here for the theme and allegory.

But judging by the creator's (Julia Vickerman) interests...

I am guessing there was a reason the creator thought kids "never growing up" was a good thing.

I'm glad that L!ly is very unlikely to ever be at the helm of any bigger media projects like a movie or show. If she was under the same level of scrutiny she puts onto others like RS, she'd throw a BIG public tantrum.

At best, she'd be a lazier Shmorky and be too difficult to work with. And at worst another flavor of industry undesirables like John K, Julia Vickerman, Skyler Page, etc.

she was bragging for months about being a "ghost writer" only to finally reveal that she only ever wrote flavor text on some RPG. that incident alone already told me that LO has absolutely no idea of... anything outside of her immediate bubble. she'd probably never get into industry because she won't put the effort of even gathering the kind of skill that would make her a viable candidate.

JULIA VICKERMAN IS AMAZING.  One of the most talented artists working today in animation. Twelve Forever is one of my favorite shows. The writing and style of it are so much fun. It’s my favorite show of 2019.  But some people keep trying to drag her name around. The only thing she is did “wrong” is she wrote a dumb Tumblr post ten years ago where she was trying to be shocking.  How do I know this? Because I have been a fan of her for years. I don't know her other than being a fan and commenting on her Tumblr account through the years, just following and supporting her creativity from afar.  Julia’s Tumblr (RIP) was funny and creative and artistic and outrageous and sometimes offensive.  There was a time about ten (!) years ago where would sometimes pretend to be a weirdo perv on it, it was a running joke. Everybody that followed her got the joke. And when I say ‘everybody’ there were tens of thousands of us following it for years. We understood the jokes.  Same goes for her tweets. Tasteless humor is a thing, people. It might not be your cup of tea - it isn’t always mine either - but in context it’s just tasteless humor, nothing more. People who say that I’m wrong or that I don't know what I’m talking about weren’t reading her Tumblr for all the years that I was. They only saw a post and were ready to get outraged.  I’m only stating the facts. I know more about this than you do, so at least consider what someone who was actually there is saying. Thanks.

I made my buttwitch cosplay right after the pilot episode dropped because her quirky charm, design and madness just captivated me! And the voice to die for 😍

I'm thinking of amping up my game with her! Maybe redoing my gun, possibly adding on another set of arms 🤔

I would like to have a deeper look at the teachers of twelve forever and why I love that realistic approach to them.

In most cartoon shows they are often shown as foils, as enemies or even as danger to the protagonists. Looking especially at the Fairly Odd Parents, American Dragon or the half of the shows, that have school life in it. Even in non-animation teachers are often over the top nasty or so eccentric that it isn’t just realistic or interesting anymore (even otherwise relatively good shows like Kim Possible or SvtFoE do this).

I always found it interesting, that most shows concentrate on one teacher and that one circles around the show for most of the time. This is the case in most cartoon shows I know. There is additionally maybe the principal, or a gym teacher and that’s it for the most shows. I often wonder if this is an American thing because in my home country I had dozens of teachers with their different subjects and their different attitudes of teaching and learning. And here Twelve Forever viewpoints are rather realistic.

There are the teachers that try to help you in the future, teachers that try the best helping and supporting their students. Of course there are also teachers that aren’t like that, that try to get by every day and even insult you or don’t care about their pupils, but they aren’t the majority. In Twelve Forever, aside of the one who takes care of the library we see three different teachers a bit more and their approaches to the pupils.

We have the music teacher, who knows that Todd is better as his subject than most students but cannot go to more interesting subjects as many students won’t be able to follow. This is often the case with favorite subjects and some students feel that way to subjects, that are really interesting for them personally. There are eager students, but the school cannot help them in that direction.

The Art teacher is the most fun of them, he tries to motivate his pupils to continue their goals but, in a way, that they won’t cause trouble. We also see, that he probably acts differently in his private life than in the school, as in Dance Forever he is extremely careful what he says and would have chosen different music when it would be a party with some friends.

The literature teacher is the oddest of the three, but also rather realistic. There are some teachers, that won’t teach you everything you need or do not even bother to teach you. Sometimes the coolest teachers that everybody likes teach you very little of the subject, but tell you fun stories or do other things. Yes they can be nice, but if the subject is really interesting for you, it is extremely disturbing. I totally felt Esther who wanted to be taught about literature and not hear something about the past of the teacher that is totally arbitrary.

So I would say, that this is a rather interesting aspect of the show, which could be tackled more in a season 2 or so. And I think School Forever is one of the best episodes of the show as Reggie, Esther and Todd learn about the problems of teaching rather fast in Endless. So kudos to making teachers in the cartoons more realistic.
