Episode 3 raises so many questions. Such as how did ibuki know that chrono was going to accept that specific quest. Why did they meet at the “vanguard colloseum” instead of the unisanc or dragon empire branches (I mean I guess it’s probably a more neutral location but I don’t remember this place being mentioned a lot after this like I don’t remember it being plot important after this)? Why is ibuki Like That? Why is chrono denying he’s a newbie when he like. Literally is. Why do they have Carol Anne Day voice every female background character? Many questions.

Also I definitely thought chrono had psyqualia the first time I watched this and like. For good reason, how else was I supposed to explain him immediately being sucked into the mamoru & Kamui fight or the dragon statue in the dark zone ruins talking to him and telling him the words “generation stride” before Kamui got the chance to tell him anything about it?
