It has been 12 days since I went to the WTC Kuala Lumpur for the book fair #PBAKL2023 and joined the crowd!
Aku pernah bertekad semasa penglibatan diri aku ke dalam keramaian pesta buku tahun lalu, bahawa -- aku tidak akan menjejakkan kaki lagi di sana pada tahun hadapan. Sesak, penat dan pasti pulang saat suasana sudah membiru. Perkara duit yang dibelanjakan, aku sedaya upaya ber-he-mat.
Seakan dejavu, aku pun pernah berbisik sedemikian rupa di saat aku menapak di lereng Bukit Jugra, kemudian di Bukit Jugra lagi, kemudian Bukit Broga, kemudian di Bukit Jugra lagi -- walaupun penghujungnya aku sampai di puncak. Aku tidak akan mendaki bukit lagi!
Tiba-tiba, pagi 1 Jun 2023 aku tersedar sedang memasuki satu pintu ke 'alam' yang pernah aku katakan "aku tidak akan ke sini lagi.."
"Alang-alang menyeluk perkasam, biar sampai ke pangkal lengan.."
