Érase una vez, en el reino de Ponyville, donde la magia y la paz reinaban, tres hermanos crecían en armonía bajo la protección de sus padres.

Desde pequeños, había sido el rey Érebo quien se había encargado de inculcarle a sus hijos buenos valores. Ser agradecidos y amables con su pueblo, además de llevarlos todas las tardes a sus lecciones de magia, pues al cumplir la mayoría de edad, sería la naturaleza quien decidiera si eran llamados a la luz, o a la oscuridad; y este queriendo estar prevenido, quería prepararlos.

La hermana mayor, Jude, es una talentosa hechicera con un gran potencial, la persona a la que su padre visualizaba reinando “Sweet Apple Acres” pues creía que iba de acuerdo a la dulce personalidad que esta tenía. Por otro lado, estaba la pequeña de los 3 hermanos, Aoko, a quien su padre había pensando heredar la ciudad principal de todo el reino, canterlot, pues siendo una niña que apenas aprendía sobre hechicería, parecía mostrar grandes habilidades y un futuro prometedor. Y finalmente, el hermano del medio, Sky, a quien su padre había prometido que en cuanto alcanzara la mayoría de edad, enviaría a proteger la ciudad de Cloudsdale, pues aquella merecía a un fuerte y noble caballero que utilizara sus habilidades para combatir el mal y mantener la paz y la armonía.

Los años fueron transcurriendo y la fecha del llamado de sus hijos se veía venir cada vez más cerca, siendo Jude la primera en ser elegida. Había logrado crecer como una de las más fuertes hechiceras, siempre servicial con el pueblo y con su padre, lista para recibir el reino que ella consideraba le correspondía. Pero, para su gran ambición, el reino que su padre ofrecía no era suficiente, ya que ella quería reinar en los 3, pues consideraba que había dedicado varios años de su vida a cuidar y servir al pueblo.

Corrompida por la oscuridad y la ambición, Jude tomó la peor de las decisiones, traicionar a su familia y hacer uso de un poder prohibido que su padre había dedicado todos esos años en ocultar, pues solamente queria lo mejor para sus 3 adorados hijos, aún cuando estos fueran llamados a la oscuridad, él quería que fueran personas de bien. Llena de rabia y rencor, mientras todos en el palacio dormían, Jude se escabulló hasta el santuario de la familia, robando la reliquia que guardaba los peores terrores en el mundo de la hechicería , pues eran en su mayoría hechizos prohibidos que te corrompian el alma. Y así, sin detenerse a pensar esa noche en cuáles serían las consecuencias, el caos y la desolación se desataron en el reino.

Alarmados, la gente del pueblo comenzó a despertar ante el terrible peligro que los acechaba, pues la que parecía ser una linda y tranquila noche, se convirtió en aquella que marcaría un antes y un después. Terribles criaturas comenzaron a emerger del bosque, amenazando a todo aquél que no sé arrodillara y mostrara respeto ante su nueva y única reina.

Totalmente aterrado y desesperado, en un intento de proteger a sus hijos, el rey Érebo tomó a Aoko y Sky, para llevarlos a través de los pasadizos secretos que tenía el castillo, guiandolos hasta lo que parecía ser una salida que daba hacia un misterioso y oscuro túnel. Entre lágrimas, la joven bruja de rubios cabellos rogaba a su padre que les permitiera estar con él y enfrentaran juntos a su hermana, todo mientras que un abatido Sky tiraba suavemente de ella en un intento de alejarla de su padre, sintiendo su corazón acelerado cuando el hombre de oscuros cabellos comenzó a recitar un conjuro que sellaría la puerta frente a ellos y los dejaría en la completa obscuridad.

Tristes y con el corazón en mil pedazos, emprendieron camino a lo largo del túnel, escuchando a lo lejos el sonido de las olas, confundidos cuando después de bajar el camino de piedras que daba directo al mar, encontraron a dos miembros de la guardia real, mostrando respeto a ellos mientras se arrodillaban.

—Su majestad, su padre nos ha dado la orden de llevarle con la bruja del páramo, dijo que es la única que podrá ayudarlos.

Confundidos y un tanto desconfiados de aquello, subieron al bote cuando estos les mostraron un amuleto que conocían a la perfección. Tras 5 días de un largo camino, visualizaron a lo lejos una pequeña isla, encogiéndose en su lugar cuando escucharon un ensordecedor rugido justo detrás de ellos, y una gigantesca figura oscurecia todo lo que se encontraba sobre ellos.

Asombrados ante la aparición de un gran y negro dragón, bajaron del bote mientras recorrían el lugar con la mirada. Todo parecía estar lleno de vida, magia y les brindaba una paz que jamás habían creído tener. Desenvainando sus espadas, apuntaron en dirección a donde los arbustos se movían, quedando estupefactos ante la esbelta figura que se presentaba ante ellos.

¿Sería acaso aquella mujer de la que habían escuchado hablar en los libros que su madre les leía cuando eran pequeños? Pues, contaba la leyenda que fuera de los límites del reino, más allá de lo que alguno se habría imaginado conocer, vivía una bruja de cabellos rosados, como los pétalos de cerezo, ojos azules como el cielo y una magia que ningún otro ser o criatura mágica poseía. Sonriendo, se acercó a ellos para abrazarlos y guiarlos al interior del bosque, camino a su hogar.

—Ha enloquecido, ¿verdad? —preguntó la mujer mientras les servía a los jóvenes una humeante taza de té y un pan para cada uno.

Asintiendo, la joven de cabellos rubios le observó con curiosidad, llena de preguntas hacia la mujer.—¿Cómo lo sabe?

Dedicándole una sonrisa, estiró su mano para revolver su cabello y caminar hacia una estantería, tomando un libro entre sus manos y dirigiéndose al comedor, donde ambos jóvenes llenaban sus estómagos.

—Digamos que era parte de su destino. —haciendo una pausa después de un largo suspiro, hojeó el libro que llevaba en manos y sonrió, levantando la mirada para observarles.—Sin embargo, había una mínima posibilidad de que pudiera burlarlo y cambiarlo, utilizar el don que le dieron y reinar en paz.

Confundidos, miraron a la mujer y fue ahora el joven quien habló.—¿Su destino ya estaba escrito?

Asintiendo, dejó el libro sobre la mesa y se cruzó de brazos, observandoles.—Todos tenemos uno, sin embargo, nosotros podemos decidir qué rumbo queremos darle y a dónde queremos llegar con él. A veces puedes burlarlo y tener uno aún mejor del que ya estaba escrito, pero... Si te dejas consumir por el deseo, bueno.

Suspirando, la joven le miró confundida y algo dudosa, preguntó.—¿Aunque fuera llamada por la oscuridad?

Asintiendo, la mujer le guiñó un ojo y sonrió.—Por supuesto, todos tenemos un poco de luz, aún en nuestra inmensa oscuridad, y todos tenemos un poco de oscuridad, aún en nuestra inmensa luz.

Apretando los labios, miró a su hermano un tanto insegura, y suspirando, volvió la vista a la mujer frente a ella.

—¿Ella estará bien?

Volviendo su vista al libro, la mujer sonrió y tarareó una dulce melodía, paseándose por las páginas de aquél libro, leyendo detenidamente.

—Ustedes tienen un gran don, sus padres se encargaron de darles la mejor educación y prepararlos por si esto ocurría algún día.

—¿Nuestro padre ya sabía? —sorprendido, el joven de cabellos negros se puso de pie de golpe y miró a la mujer, sediento de encontrar respuestas a las miles de preguntas que rondaban en su cabeza.

—El destino puede cambiar si hacen bien las jugadas, dime, Sky. ¿te gustaría cambiar el tuyo?

Pasando la mirada hacia la joven de cabellos rubios, la observó detenidamente durante unos segundos y sonriendo, la señaló.—Tienes un futuro prometedor, pequeña. —y finalmente poniéndose de pie, volvió a la estantería para tomar otro de sus libros y girarse a mirar a sus invitados, sonriente y con un extraño brillo en los ojos.—Ella estará bien, la verdadera pregunta aquí es... ¿Están listos para la aventura?

Samuel Wade (1997- Present) @artisticfade

if you ask des who his best mate is, sam is the one that automatically comes to mind--even if that isn’t the case anymore. it’s hard to separate himself from sam. years have passed since the two stopped talking, but it still feels like he’s missing half of himself. as much as sam frustrates and angers him at times, he wishes things could be how they used to be.

they grew up together. they learned how to walk, talk, and become little humans together. sam was the closest thing des ever had to a sibling. they played together, cried together, and told each other everything. their families are best friends, and des can honestly say that sam’s parents feel like his own. so, when sam’s mom was taken away, it felt like a knife to the heart. 

their friendship quickly fell apart soon after that. des still can’t give a definitive answer on how that happened. maybe they just knew too much about each other or it could be that sam’s mom was the catalyst. either way, sam was was easy to set off and des just wasn’t patient enough with him. 

despite the obvious tension between them, they’re still forced on family holidays together. plus, they go to the same uni and were both drawn to the ocean that night. even though, they’re convinced they hate each other, they’re still the one the other turns to, because nothing can change the fact that they need each other the most. 

Alfie Renwick (Age 15 - Present)

alfie renwick has the heart of an angel with a devil on his shoulder. after falling out with sam, des felt the loss deeply--almost like he was missing a vital body part. as college loomed in the distance, des felt completely lost. sure, he still had mates, but none that he could really turn to. alfie came at a time where he truly needed someone to lean on. they met on the footie team, and he was full of big smiles and lots of laughs. however, wherever alfie went, finn carran followed. 

finn wasn’t like alfie. he was cruel and took pleasure in other people’s misfortune, pushing students in to lockers and tearing down the ones who weren’t considered “cool.” as much as des tried to pull alfie away from his toxic best mate, it wasn’t easy. like des and sam, the pair grew up together, and, as much as alfie saw how his best friend changed for the worst, he couldn’t seem to separate himself from him.

it put a strain des’ and alfie’s friendship, but des still stood by his side, because he knew he needed a real best mate. now that they attend different uni’s, they aren’t as close as they used to be, but they still stay in touch and reunite when des is home from school. things feel strained though, and des can’t figure out why. 

Jude Castillo (Age 18 - Present) @eltoromagico

des isn’t religious, but he likes to think that some higher power sent him jude, because he can’t think of someone more perfect to have in his life. like alfie, he met jude on the footie team after feeling the loss of a friend once again. unlike alfie, he comes without the god awful best friend, and has powers. part of the reason he feels so much closer to jude than alfie is that they both have such a life changing thing in common that he’ll never have with his old best mate. 

it’s the little things that make jude so bloody great as well. he’s the kindest soul with a brilliant smile. des is protective by nature, but it’s different for jude. he never wants to see the other hurt, and will bring out a rare dark side of himself if anyone tries to make jude anything but happy. 

while des feels like he can tell jude anything at this point, he still keeps the dark parts of himself hidden away, only allowing him to see what’s on the surface--a carefree bloke without a frown in sight. after losing sam, he’s afraid of burdening jude with his problems and tries to solve them himself.

Personality: She’s very dreamy and soft. Soraya’s always looking for the magic and romance in a situation and can be very optimistic even in the worst situations, which is what people tend to be drawn to first. She can also be loud and hyperactive, running at 100mph until someone tells her to slow down. ➥ CAREER

Soraya didn’t move to the UK for her career, she moved because she needed better treatment for a rare heart condition she lives with. When she started high school, she really had no expectations of taking her music career any further than the four walls of her bedroom. She was shy, awkward and really didn’t have many friends thanks to the language barrier but by the time she’d matured into a 16 year old, she’d blossomed a bit more and settled into her new environment. She auditioned for St Judes but was told she wasn't good enough to do it on her own, so was put into a manufactured girl group.              After spending her practice year and first year in the group, she went solo and decided to try it on her own. She’s yet to release anything. 

➥ SECRET

Soraya suffers from a rare but fatal syndrome called Brugada Syndrome. It causes her heart to beat irregularly fast which can lead to cardiac arrest if she’s not careful. She kept her medical records a secret so that she’d be allowed to enter the music course and not be rejected due to health and safety reasons surrounding stress and a busy work load.
