💥NEW SONG?!💥 “Permanent”, the third and final single from our upcoming record is available to stream everywhere NOW! Musically, this song is the culmination of a lot of things we’ve been working with since “Old Fang” from I’ve Only Been A Thief. Complex time signatures, open string riffs, but all within a fairly compact structure. This is the rawest song on the record performance-wise, there’s a tangible ebb and flow—hopefully, you feel like you’re watching us play this live as you’re listening. Lyrically, I’m ruminating on feeling stagnant and numb following my dad’s passing. I was unsure of what to do, how to process and progress, and of course concerned that frustration wasn’t temporary–permanent. Listen wherever you listen to music! Here we go again—another new song! “Limbs as Pages (Pt. 2)” is out NOW! The first Limbs is found on the first truly serious, cohesive Khamsin EP. It was the one song @andrewj_gomez and I wrote in the studio—it definitely has a lot of his character—and it quickly became a favorite of a lot of friends (including Zach @thedreadedlaramieband who you may have seen playing guitar or bass for us at various times). It was an exploration of transience and mortality. With the similar themes of our upcoming record, I figured it made sense to revisit Limbs and re-craft it. Enjoy it!
