  At  first,  Aurora  had  been  too  stupefied  to  speak.  Her  roseate  lips  parted  with  a  sharp  inhale  of  the  night  air,  but  the  words  died  on  the  tip  of  her  tongue  before  they  dared  slip.  Those  doe-like  eyes  were  the  size  of  saucers  simply  gawking  at  him.  Then  as  faint  as  gossamer,  a  line  drew  on  her  forehead  —    deepening  by  the  second.

  “  You’re  dismissing  it  ? ”   she  echoed,  indignant.   “  Wha,  you’re  really  gonna  dismiss  my  idea  of  matching  unicorn  onesies  ?   That’s  rude  ! ”    The  words  made  the  situation  more  real  and  so  she  glared  at  him  like  a  petulant  child.  

  It  was  a  scene  eerily  similar  to  when  they  were  children.  She  had  the  same  demanding  eyes  and  the  same  pout  when  she  wouldn’t  get  her  way.  Perhaps,  the  only  difference  was  that  she  wasn’t  as  temperamental  as  she  was  then.  Though  she  was  easily  more  challenging  than  she  used  to  be.

  “  And  I’m  not  even  doing  anything  chaotic.  Well,  at  least  not  right  now  You  know  this  is  exactly  like  the  time  when  I  was  seven  and  you  didn’t  let  me  chase  after  that  loose  goose,  It  was  such  a  cool  goose  too.  ”   she  admitted  defeat.

  “  You  were  the  worst  babysitter  ever,  Julie.  ”
