Boy is in Florida until Wednesday night. I sent him a selfie and he sent me this:

Him: oh idk. Hiding I guess. Maybe she'll come out for some banjo. *proceeds to sit on the couch and play the banjo*

Period/chronic illness/neurodivergence kicking my butt today as we travel 2 hours to see the boys family. I kept telling him i loved him and apologizing that I would need to rest once we got there instead of hanging out with his family. The boy very sweetly made me mashed potatoes and said, "stop saying you love me like an apology" which 1) is probably the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me and 2) is a pretty metal line
