Native to North America, the Canadian lynx inhabits a range from the Arctic treeline, southwards through a good part of Alaska and Canada, as well as the north of the adjoining United States.

The photographer of these images are Jean-Simon Bégin (@jsb_wildlife_photography on instagram). Wildlife photography is something that I have always had an interest in and a liking towards. For these images specifically, I love how the background colors look with the colors of the animals, it feels like it makes them really stand out. Wildlife photography takes a lot of patience to make sure the animals come into perfect sight, but it also takes photographers with good morals since there are some who will bother the animals and such. I think he does a really great job at truly capturing their normal habits, such as the two raccoons cuddled in the tree. Another aspect of his work that I like is that he lives in Canada, so the animals he will be photographing are native to the areas he's in so its a chance to learn about new and different animals that you might not know about if they aren't native around you.
