Here he is, the man himself. But waaaay before he got corrupted and stuff.

Blixer is a powerless shape just like Cube (hence the eyes), despite that he tends to be quite rebellious and brash. He’s a good friend, if not a bit too naive.

He enjoys making music and listening to Barracuda yap <3

I’m trying a new lineless artstyle so I’ll see if that sticks

As for Cube here are some fun facts :>

Those three X’s just mean he doesn’t have a surname, he was raised in a church amongst other orphans. It’s not unheard of for powerless children to be abandoned and for churches to take them in.

That’s where Cube’s interest in the Tree of Life and myths around it started.

Once he grew up he moved into a small village near the Tree, where he works as a mechanic/handyman alongside his research. But this humble lifestyle soon changed once he got chosen as the new guardian.

(Okay well not their final designs yet but I think I’ve gotten pretty close)

I’m gonna introduce them a little bit under the cut (+some bonus doodles)

Okie so Azuline is the oldest (it’s a matter of minutes but whatever) of the heroes, she’s also the leader

She’s mature, stubborn, a huge perfectionist and very loyal to her loved ones.

Then there’s Scheele! He’s the second oldest of the heroes and he’s also the tallest (I may make him a bit shorter than in the previous pic but yeah,,)

He’s may be a bit intimidating at first but he’s a very friendly guy. He can be a bit loud and he doesn’t always realise his strength but he gives great hugs.

Moving onto Mandarin! The third hero :3

Ever cheerful and friendly Mandarin hates to see others suffer. She’s very fun to be around and likes to make sure everyone feels included.

And finally Pyrite, the youngest of the four

(Uh yeah here he looks kinda traumatised and messed up but whatever-)

He’s a quiet shape, often acting as more of an observer than anything. Pyrite can be a bit cautious but he also has an eye for details which makes him useful.

The Blixer reference is finally here !! :3

Here’s my boy Stachys Lamb, or as he prefers to call himself Blixer.

(In my au all flowers are named after real world plants, Blixer’s named after Stachys byzantina, aka Lamb’s-ear)

• Despite his meek and timid attitude he’s fairly rebellious, by the beginning of the main story I’m currently planning he’s in exile for attempting to steal a part of The Tree of Life

• He likes soft and warm things, blankets, sweaters, etc.

• Likes to eat fruit :3

Also some intel into how powerlessness works, “powerlessness” is a disability of the soul shapes are born with. Powerless shapes, as the name suggests, have no magical abilities. Most also develop other side effects like complications with vision, difficulties with motor skills and speech. The soul of a shape if what keeps them alive and connects them to the Tree, powerless shapes have weaker souls.

Blixer is nearsighted and struggles with short term memory.

Cube’s vision is a bit blurry, often has migraines and struggles with his balance when tired.

Currently struggling to come up with the names for all the heroes in my jsab au,,,

So, for the square I’ve already settled on Azuline (Azure for short)

For the triangle I’m probably going to go with Pyrite

Now, for the circle, I’m considering Mandarin or Tangerine, but I’m not entirely sold yet (I was also considering Realgar, but I don’t think it fits her personality at all)

And for the pentagon, for now the ones I’ve come up with are Jade, Jadeite, Nephrite and, so far my personal favourite Scheele, as a reference to Scheele’s green but idk yet

If anyone has any opinions or suggestions I’m open to them and would appreciate them very much,,,

Been trying to (once again) figure out my Jsab au designs so here’s Cube way before he became a guardian

Mostly I just changed his attire, since this makes more sense for him as day to day attire but the more “sciency” fit or some variation of it will probably still show up? Honestly he’s the design that’ll change the least so here he is, I’m pretty happy with this but I’ll see if I have to simply it in the future :3

Story and personality wise I don’t want to spoil much but not much changes for him.

I already have ideas so expect a guardian outfit for him soon :D 👍

Just realised that by changing the world building of my Jsab au I caused that now I must redesign the characters I have to fit

My Jsab Au is finally starting to look like an actual, consistent story that I’m happy with!!

It’s all coming together babyyyy
