oh yeah this sure as hell isn't an even numbered fight because Timothy 'Smokeshot' Rand is NOT GONNA BE CLOSE. He can shoot people from afar but if they see him he's fucked so "No thank you, only finishing blows. Oh the red one's approaching you Rolan!"

Rolan is pretty much the only actual close range fighter the Bayou Team has sooo yes Virion and Kota are probably his to fight. I think in stamina and all, Kota and Mantiscythe are pretty evenly matched, though Rolan has to look out because if he hurts himself bad, he's pretty done for in this situation. (Would Kota eat bugs? Probably.) As for Virion... I honestly don't know much about his powers or fighting style so I can't say haha

Ashe would probably need to fight Kian alongside Wight. If their powers cancel eachother out, Loveshock and Wight would have to fight more closer range than they're comfortable with. Fun getting them out of their comfort zones >:)))

Very random but I was thinking of Wight and the thought of "If they ever fought the Prime Distroyers, PD AU Kian would fuck with this guy's vibe, but shout vague compliments about it because he's not supposed to like villains."

Small Town hero Loveshock ASSUMES this villain would listen to his music and, naturally, he likes his fans.

GIGGLES? kian vibe checked him and though he was cool thats so funny. actually I'm sooo curious how a pd bitb and destroyers fight would go......becauses kian and wights powers would probably clash a bit depending on how kians powers work exactly. cause! wight chaos magic ooo beocme chaotic evil. but allssooo iirc kian can ? control/charm people right ?

MANTISCYTHE. a.k.a Rolan Deep!

Hero of bug-type body modification!

Has the ability to transform limbs into insect-like weaponry at will, his most well known form being his arm morphed into a giant scythe.

Powers that favor close-range combat with capability of jumping to inhuman heights. This requires light but easily injurable bones, which have to be thought of while fighting an enemy.

"What?! But i was in the middle of!- Ugh.. Right.. Hero time."

LOVESHOCK. a.k.a Kian Stone!

Hero of electrical sound and dashing charisma!

Uses electrical shockwaves in offensive strikes to fend off an enemy.

May charm or control an opponent through concentrating his power through his guitar. Requires intense concentration, hard to come by during combat.

"Sick! Yeah, I can get you an autograph dude! After I save the day ofcourse!"

My friend asked me this so I could ramble about my BITB x PD boys. To make it less unprompted, have this Rand Smokeshot doodle. Happy new years y'all lmao.

HEADCANONS THAT ARE ACTUALLY CANON BECAUSE IT'S MY AU AND I DO WHAT I WANT:

Kian goes through his guitar strings insanely fast with the moves he pulls on the battlefield. He's fully capable of repairing them himself, but lets Rand do it cause he likes watching him work while they talk.

Rand is the main housekeeper, as they still live together in Galloway. He taught himself how to cook when Rachel moved in with them. When Rolan and Kian are at work and Rachel is at school, he likes to try out new recipes to make them. (Kian is also not allowed to roam the kitchen, he WILL set something on fire lmao)

Rolan has a full bug form he can use to fight but doesn't. It's terrifying and sometimes hard to control. He prefers to stick with transforming singular body parts as his disguise/'costume'. Clicking is something he can do in all forms as it comes natural to him.

Lastly, something more 'plot relevant'.

There is a bugpocalypse equivalent that happens in Galloway at some point in this AU, and it is entirely Rachel Rands doing! >:D. Her brother has big dreams of becoming a registered hero which she is not included in. They fight about it a lot. One night, after Rachel gets told once again she is not allowed to go on missions with them, she snaps. Something similar to the canon BITB happens (but a lot less catastrophic I imagine) because Rachel loses control of her powers :).

Hero of down to earth observance!

Filling the powerless 'man in the chair' role isn't enough as a third member of the Bayou Hero-team. Has to get in on the action with (possibly stolen) weapons and tech.

Likes being on site for battles, though tucked away where he can observe and direct his friends from afar. This, preferably without getting mixed into the actual combat.

"I sure as shit ain't gettin' in on this-.. Why are they coming towards me?! GUYS?!"

the only reason i put Rand's relationships with the others as 'unlabled' is because he joined the relationship last. Doesnt make sense but i'm too lazy to change it lol

Flipped through my sketchbook and my favorite guy (to draw) currently seems to be Kian Stone, or specifically Loveshock from my BITB x PD au.

As for canon characters, I've fallen into the habit of watching Riptide and constantly craving more Caspian content. That man has a deathgrip on me.

ooouuuggghhh your BITB x PD crossover is giving me thoughts I love seeing what kinda heroes they would be... do you think Rand would try n learn medicine/first aid so he can patch Rolan n Kian up after a mission (so he doesn't feel "useless" cuz he's powerless...)

At the moment they live very loosely in my brain but short answer: YES DEFINITELY.

My goal for Rand as a character was sort of giving him the life he didn't have in canon BITB while also adding the effects his canon life had onto my PD au, if that makes sense?

Rand was pretty much abandoned by his friends when they moved out of Galloway, so for my PD version of him, I wanted that desperation he has for his friends to stick around to really shine. If that means picking up the 'guy with the med kit' role, he'll do it. (That's also why he's their man in the chair ONTOP OF a kind of 'sniper')

Him being powerless doesn't seem like it'd bother him? He just wants to help in any way he can so he can keep his friends around and be seen as a necessary part of the team :')

(Now you've also put cute scenes in my head of Kian complaining about him 'being fine' while Rand fixes him up after a rough fight or Rolan having to be told to keep his clicking down while he watches Rand work. BUT THAT'S JUST ME-)
