Chodziez Porcelain Coffee or Tea Service Set
“This gorgeous porcelain service set in green and gold is for 6 people. I am calling it green but it may be better described as a very dark teal. In a certain light, there are heavy blue undertones. I believe it was designed for Chodziez by Jozef Wrzesien in 1959 and produced in the 1960s at the Chodziez Porcelain Factory in Poland.”

Since I'm into mid-century modern design, I couldn't miss the chance to buy that lovely sugar bowl. It's a project of a Polish designer, Jozef Wrzesien. It was created in 1959. The sugar bowl is a part of a coffee set called 'Iza' sold in variety of colours. That particular manner of painting was one of the most popular, thus the set wasn't pricey. Perhaps if I were money-oriented collector, this would bother me, but since I collect items just for fun, it's OK not to have any valuable things. I just like the shape of that sugar bowl, it reminds me of a small pumpkin.
Another thing I got some time ago is a keychain designed by Karim Rashid in cooperation with Troika. A simple form and vivid colour is something a minimalist would definitely like. I am a minimalist in many ways so that keychain immediately drew my attention.
