ive mentioned before that the final fight goes differently in of stitches in sequence. isa stays 'himself' while fighting, at least physically.

the idea of him crying out the wishcraft actually comes directly from @joykirbs and ive been thinking about it since so. yknow.

Been obsessed with In Stars and Time and recently got an Apple Pencil due to my bestie @joykirbs and everyone in her server helping raise money for it! So To celebrate I made A very not okay drawing! Also, technically spoilers for Act 3-4!!

Haven’t gotten the dagger myself, but listening to the soundtrack again and getting to death’s theme made me think of this. I do have a bit of writing to go along with it.

Do it so confidently the first time, but it’s harder and harder following that as he knows how long it’ll take to loop. Is it really saving time? Is it worth it even if it was? Seeing his family’s faces as they watch him slowly die? Does he even care at this point?

Is it bad when I saw your poet on isat about how you feel mad that you didn't get catharthis from the odile plotline my reaction was "yipee got another one" ?

Because I also didn't get the catharthis I wanted from isat, tho for different reasons. I watched the jello playthrough, but then while visiting family I watched the joykirbs (great streamer watch her stuff) playthrough. And I remember her getting to the end hearing the absolute catharthis in her voice, seeing siffrin finally talk to his friends, and mentioning how she'd probably talk to hers about this

And I just felt so angry because I realised that if I disappeared one day the only people who would notice are my family and uhh yeah I don't have a good relationship with my family, I don't want them to be the only people who remember me when I'm gone

For me, friendships are a thing that comes and goes. Something something Rena from Higurashi quote "friends are just people who you hang around for fun. They don't help you when you need them " (ignore how she gets proven wrong in the story). Everyone leaves eventually, and typically, it's my fault, so I can't even be mad about it!

Oh well, I'll find catharthis elsewhere <- I say with the tone of a knight embarking on a doomed quest

unfortunately for you i cant agree with your assessment of friendship here at all. even if i didnt have real friends who've helped me when i needed it, that doesn't change the fact that many people have lifelong friends who stick with them through rough shit. but you kinda need to be vulnerable and ok with getting hurt and knowing that most people wont be your friend forever to do that so. yknow.

also, and i dont mean to sound rude, but if you can tell that it's your fault maybe you aren't doomed so much as you need to change your behavior? but what do i know im just a guy who changed its behavior in order to keep the relationships it found meaningful :P my best friend has a lot of friends who seem hellbent on fucking up their relationships with people by holding them to very high standards and letting their insecurity run wild and insisting their friends dont love them. or maybe you meant its your fault in one of a million other ways. like you dont check up on people or something. idk if any of that is what you do but if it is yknow. check that shit i guess.

shrug. dont come to me for advice about all that.

its alright to be angry about art tho. about people getting shit you didnt out of it. about feeling like you might never get that catharsis you want. being bitter about shit is one of my favorite hobbies.
