I finally threw together my Joui4 playlist, which is mainly rock with some instrumentals here and there along with a handful of titles from the Gintama soundtracks and OP/EDs.

Basically, these are all songs and instrumentals that remind me of Gintoki, Takasugi, Katsura, and Sakamoto -- whether in the past, during the war, or in the present. Some reference arcs or backstories, and others just have a general vibe I feel personally for them. Some I added even if they are not available due to my country's Spotify licensing, sadly, but they might be for other places. Currently, there are 86 songs, and I may add more in the future as inspiration strikes.

I thought I would share my playlist for fun and for anyone looking for new artists/songs for their own. 🙂 Here is a direct link in case of embedding errors.

Kotaro Katsura:

-It all depends on the setting…jk.

-He’d stutter and shout to get off even if you are alone together, so unused to PDA.

-“Shhh Kotaro, it’s just us.” You whisper, lips so near his, your soft hands cupping the apple of his cheeks.

-He’ll get quiet soon after, he won’t yield to your seduction, tho.

-For now.

-In public, he’d just get red from his ears to the end of his feet. You’ll get lifted ,02 seconds after. Tell him at the end of the meeting that it was just a prank and he’ll tease you tenfold at night.

-Be cautious, Kotaro can get pretty creative.

Tatsuma Sakamoto:

-If it’s for him, you could live on his lap, like glued on it.

-And he doesn’t mind your teasing! “It adds spice ahahaha”

-But have you considered…Mutsu consent?

-“You filthy pig, do this stuff in your own room!”

-Thankfully Mutsu wrath never hits you, but now you have a boyfriend to salvage from the deep ocean…

Shinsuke Takasugi:

-The smirk that is plastered on his face actually sends chills down your spine.

-Shinsuke doesn’t say a single word, therefore you don’t know if he’s gonna kill you for insubordination or tease you till you are reduced in a puddle of tears while burning for shame.

-You feel him move around, but the moment you turn your head to look at him, his shamisen is placed on your lap, his arms now tightly around your waist.

-“Today I’ll teach you how to play-“ You feel his warm breath on your cheek, voice so deep it seems like delving into your meat. “Do as I say and don’t make mistakes-“ His cold fingers grip yours, placing it on the strings of the instrument “You know I’m not soft with my punishments.”

Gintoki Sakata:

-“MH?” Gin is astonished.

-“Hey, hey did you pay your fee to sit on my lap? You know, my lap is my new luxury service that many want-“

“Many? Have other people tried it before me?”

-Chills, death, and suddenly cold sweat start to run down Gintoki’s forehead. His damn mouth that talks before the brain starts working…not that it would have helped him.

-“N-no no I was just joking-“

“Then go joke with all those persons that want your services.” You get up, leaving a very distressed and equally worried Gintoki sitting on the broken chairs of the bar.

-Excellent way to get him at your feet ready to do anything for you.
