‼️‼️SPOILERS AHEAD‼️‼️

Flutterby here with a review on Luigi’s Mansion 3! I definitely recommend it for those who have a switch, and those who have played any of the series there is an easter egg of Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon in it, and most likely more that I have yet to discover. The graphics are beautiful, and the cut scenes can be a little annoying to deal with while playing through the game for the first time, but since it is beautifully designed you might just get used to them. The game play is nice and smooth I had an issue once before there was some type of error, but it might have been playing for a long time. If you did have any errors let me know so that I might feel a little less alone. It’s your normal type of LM game you collect gems and can catch boos too of course lots of bosses, but first let’s start from the beginning. It starts off with a cut scene of Luigi,Mario,Princess Peach, and three Toads on with one of them driving, which is crazy when you think about it Toad is pretty short, and it is probably hard for him to see over the steering wheel(It does look like that when you watch the cut scene.). They got a invite from a hotel to come visit, and honestly when they first got there they should’ve seen it was a trap, but then again I guess they’re famous and would be VIP’s to check out a hotel for the first time we also wouldn’t have had such a wonderful game if they did. They even have our little friend from Dark Moon in it the one and only cute Polterpup he gives you hints, and trains you how to use Poltergust G-00 if you are a first time player of the LM series it is very useful. After Luigi falls asleep he is woken up by Princess Peach screaming, and you then have to look in Mario’s and Peach’s room before you can start the official first cut scene to start the actual game play. The cut scene shows that King Boo is back, and it was all because of the hotel owner luring Professor E.Gadd telling him there is rare ghost to discover there. You discover in the cut scene that all Luigi’s friends including his brother were put in picture frames. You run away, going down a laundry shoot landing in a bunch of towels. You soon see Polterpup again, because you are meant to follow him to get the Poltergust G-00 which is when you learn how to use it. There is a door you have to flash with you flashlight to open, Polterpup leads you there. Keep following him, and soon you will come across a trapped professor. Polterpup leads you yet again to find the black light to add to your flashlight to be able to free the professor, and to find things you can’t see with just your plain eye slight. After freeing the professor you head off to the elevator(which you will be using the the whole game just to get to floors, and sadly you can’t skip the rides you have to wait.) the professor will notice all the buttons for the elevator is missing expect for the one that leads you back to the basement where you first started. The professor will make you head to the garage area to his car, because he wants to show Luigi something. When you get there you’re met with your first boss ghost Steward as seen in the image he will throw suitcases at you, and block you from flashing him to freeze him. You can wait for him to throw the suitcase to flash him, or use your new burst ability to prevent him from keeping a hold of the suitcase then flash him. The way you want to do it is totally up to you. After you defeat him you will get two elevator button for floor 1 and 5. You already explored 1, but if you wanted to go back to find gems go for it. You just might not be able to get all them quite yet, and I will tell you why. Before heading to the elevator to explore the floor which you will notice look familer that’s because you were there in the beginning of the game. The professor will take out this little red dome, and place on the ground it turns into a lab. Amazing I know. You head into the lab to talk to the professor who will ask Luigi to recollect his ghosts, and Luigi will tell the professor he wants to search for his friends, and the professor then tells him he can do both he is then given a virtual boo if the professor needed to talk or if you wanted to talk to him if in a tough spot he asks you to test it when getting into the elevator after placing this other device he gives you down. When in the elevator the two buttons will be put in their rightful place. The professor on the virtual boo when you first test it asks Luigi to go up the the 5th floor to get his suitcase he has something in there for Luigi. When you head up to the 5th floor you will find a few normal ghost battles here and there. When you head into the room the professor told you do you will come across Chambrea a maid ghost it triggers a cut scene (as shown in image) she starts to look at his suitcase, and Luigi tries to stop which ends up spooking her. Ironic right? She swallows the suitcase yes you read that right swallows it. That is when you use your suction ability to grab onto her, and slam her around. She will run away after a few hits, and you will have to keep following her until you finally defeat her. When you do you get another elevator button number three. You go back to the elevator putting the button back in it’s rightful place just as before, but now you have to go back to the lab to give the professor his suitcase. When you do you find out about a new buddy that will help you through out your journey. The professor will tell you how to use him his name is Gooigi. If you wanted to play with a friend with story mood now you can since Gooigi is introduced if not that is okay too. He will be a very big help during your game play trust me on that. After he is introduced you get to hear about something called ScareScraper it is an online thing to do if you feel like taking a break from story mode it also helps you get rare ghosts added to your collection. It is a pretty fun little game to play if you already finished the story mode like me. The more you continued to play the professor will mention you can catch boos. The way you do it is honestly pretty cool. He fixes your Poltergust G-00 to give Gooigi the ability to vibrate when you’re close to where a boo is hiding. I gotta say when you find the boo, and start slamming him around the sound he makes is oddly satisfying. The boos also have fun puns to each of their names to name a some Booducer,Boodybuilder,Boosician, and Kung Boo. Some of the bosses in the game can be pretty hard and a little annoying, but once you get into the grove they’re pretty easy. If you do get all the gems in the game you get. A pretty cool crystal suction and when you get all the boos a boo flashlight which you can equip in your ghost gallery. If you do want to find all the gems you look at a guide some are pretty complicated. My first play through it took me 16 hours my second 10 since I got used to the controls and what to do.
