The way you just know Nora and Josh went on the most incredible date to see the new Spider-Man movie and he nerded out forever about it and she made little sticker drawings of them as the characters and stuck them up on their roof and all along his parkour route and they’ve seen it about a hundred times and during the web slinging scenes every few minutes he’ll whisper to her that he can so do that and and the movies playlist is on constant rotation at their house along with one he put together himself and their friends help make a goofy little video of him going around doing parkour as miles and they all have a triple feature movie night with both of the spiderverse movies and the one that they filmed

Most Important Scenes - Josh Zimmermann
Part two of my essays on favorite scenes for each character.
May I?
This was the most important scene for Zethphan, because it involved his first movie kiss. But I feel this scene is also crucial for Josh as a character, because it shows that he really cares for Nora. He does not take advantage of the situation when Nora tries to kiss him, but asks her repeatedly if she is okay. And, after seeing she's about to cry, he asks for consent to hug her. And they share a scene way more intimate then a kiss could ever be in that situation. He's there for Nora, holds her, comforts her, while she, for the first time is able to let her feelings out.
I'm not leaving you alone right now.
As the season progresses, Josh notices that something is wrong with Nora. When she is finally opening up to him, things get a little bit chaotic. Nora seems to struggle to find the right words, Josh is overwhelmed and confused by what she is saying and is even misinterpreting what she is doing, which becomes evident by Nora standing on the edge of the roof (Nora is trying to say that she doesn't feel fear, Josh thinks she wanted to jump).
After seeing that he doesn't really understand what is going on, Nora wants to leave, her symptoms of dissociation becoming stronger. But in contrast to Constantin (who mentioned a situation like that happening before), Josh doesn't let her go like this. He follows her and gives her a hug. Hugs seem to be Josh's go-to comfort gesture, which in this situation is quite tragic, because Nora cannot feel anything. But he still manages to convey his feelings with words: I'm not leaving you alone right now.
And I thought I had something like a superhero-complex.
This scene is super important for Josh, not only because it reinforces the Spiderman parallel again, but also because it points out one of his character flaws. He really had something of a 'superhero complex'. He was very eager to help Nora with her struggles, but the best intentions do not always lead to the best results. And he apologizes for that, and for trying 'to fix her', which I love.
Besides of that, he recognizes that it is not his responsibility to help Nora, because what she needs is professional help. And in this scene they talk about psychotherapy, share their common experiences about their 'not so perfect families', and with that also telling us more about Josh's past and his struggles.
We'll figure it out together.
Of course, the 'Minute by Minute' scene is also super important for Josh.
When Nora talks about her fear of loosing her feelings again, Josh is not saying 'They will stay.' He is taking her worries seriously, and still manages to make the message positive: 'They will come back.' This scene isn't telling us, that from now on, everything is going to be well. Because it isn't. In season 6, we can still see Nora struggling with her feelings and with how demanding her therapy is. Being in a relationship and having a supportive group of friends doesn't magically solve all problems, but they can be super helpful as support along the journey. Which for me is the essence of the sentence 'We'll figure it out together'. It basically says 'I know that the future might bring obstacles and difficulties, but I'll be by your side and we'll manage it somehow'.
