✦MARKUS wouldn't play along with the mistaking of the reader as an android prototype. He would maintain his composed demeanor and correct them by responding "Excuse me, They're human, not an android." in a calm tone.

Like Markus, ✦NORTH doesn't find the situation amusing and is more blunt and straightforward. She'd reply to the person saying that "They're actually human." Since she doesn't have the patience for playful fabrication and prefers to correct the misunderstanding directly.

✦SIMON would likely be the voice of reason in this situation. He might try to politely correct the misunderstanding, but if the reader insists on going along with it, Simon would likely play along in a lighthearted manner. He might say something like "Ah yes, The RK series that's programmed to have an insatiable love for puppies and kittens that they can't resist cuddling them and giving them belly rubs whenever they see them."

Can you write Jericho crew with a human s/o who honestly doesn’t act like one. Her reactions are kind of late, almost delayed. She doesn’t blink for a long period of time, nobody has ever seen her eat or drink before, and oddly enough, if you stare long enough, you can convince yourself she doesn’t even breathe, she could pass as an android if she wanted to!!

TITLE: It’ll be okay…

Connor had been working for the DPD for a little over a year at this point. He had grown close with Hank, him being almost like a father to Connor. He had gained respect among his peers at the station and was treated equally as all of the other officers were. Currently himself and Hank were on a case at a very fancy hotel.

"So what are we looking at?" Connor questioned as he approached Hank and another officer.

"1 Android 1 human in suite 200, reports say they've heard yelling and heard signs of physical abuse. Android might be armed so approach with caution." The officer told the pair and Connor nodded as he started to head towards the elevator.

"Connor one more thing, it seems the human was being abused, it might not be such a good thing for you to go in there, let Hank handle it." The officer told Connor seriously.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." Connor gave his fellow officer a soft smile as he headed to suite 200 with Hank. They both entered the elevator together and rid up to the top floor of the building, where all the fancy suites were.

"Let me go first." Hank told Connor as they got off the elevator and were stood at the rooms door. Connor nodded and stood behind the Lieutenant. Hank kicked open the door with his gun raised slowly walking around the room with Connor following close behind.

Since the suite was so big Connor and Hank took separate ways to find the suspect and the victim, they had assumed the suspect was still in the vicinity somewhere. Connor made his way towards the dining room, where a large table with a white, long cloth cover was sitting. He slowly walked past the table making sure his guard was up, Connor suddenly heads quiet soft cries, his LED started blinking yellow processing what he was hearing, it turned back to a blue as he kneeled at the middle of the table. Connor lifted up the sheet that was covering the dining table to find a man shaking and crying softly.

"N-no, please don't! Leave me alone." The man cried as he tried to hide himself from Connor, inching backwards to try and get away. Connor's LED started blinking yellow once more as he decided how to handle the situation. The reports said there was a human being abused by an android, of course he would be scared of him, Connor was an android after all.

"It's okay, here." Connor spoke quietly to the shaken man, reaching out his hand for the other to touch. The man stopped shaking and skeptically looked at him and his held out hand, he slowly reached out his own hand to come into contact with Connor's. The other man's hand caressed Connor's as his breathing started to normalize and his tears were fading.

"That's it, it'll be okay." Connor smiled at the man who slowly made his way from under the table, still holding onto Connor's hand.

"What's your name?" Connor asked as he rubbed his thumb over the other man's hand slowly, trying to comfort him as much as possible.

"Y/N L/N." The other man replied, his voice still shaking from fear, Connor fully grasped the other man's hand and let him out of the dining room towards one of the many couches in the living room area. He sat Y/N down and sat closely next to him.

"T-thank you for helping me, I-I don't know how long I've been here." Y/N confessed as he shivered, it was then when Connor finally noticed the other man's state. Y/N's hair was disheveled, his clothes were torn with big holes and dirty, he had bruises covering a good portion of his body, or at least the parts of his body that were showing. Connor realized how much danger Y/N was actually in, hoping that Hank had found the android who caused this.

"My partner is looking for the android who did this to you, is it still in the suite?" Connor asked as Y/N leaned his weight towards Connor, passing out from exhaustion probably. Connor did a scan to make sure the man was breathing and he was. Connor smiled and moved a piece a hair out of Y/N's eye and didn't move him.

"Gotcha! This son of a birch was hiding in the closet of the master bedroom, almost got away from me slippery thing!" Hank exclaimed as he burst into the room holding an android in handcuffs in front of him. Connor quickly shushed the other man and gestured to the man lying in his lap, sound asleep.

"Victim?" Hank questioned from his spot in the doorway and Connor nodded silently as he looked back down at Y/N.

"Well I'll be at the car with this thing, come down when you're both ready." Hank smirked as he left with the android suspect.

Connor was left in silence with Y/N still sleeping on him, he wasn't sure what to do. Let the man sleep or get him up to go down to the station? He had decided to stay for the moment, letting Y/N sleep a bit longer before having to give his statement.

"It'll be okay." Connor whispered as he leaned back on the couch himself.

I’m just feeling a little overwhelmed by all this chaos.” You chuckle lightly and add, "I could really use your help with something important. Do you have a moment?" Your smile widens, though it doesn’t quite reach your eyes. He seems to see through your facade but stays silent, giving you a subtle nod as he steps closer.

"Look, I know it’s risky," you say firmly, drawing a deep breath and letting out a weary sigh as you try to gather your thoughts. "I’ve heard the warnings from everyone." Detroit Become Human Characters Ranked best to worst Huggers

1. Luther: Big, robust, and beefy man. Sure he wasn't exactly brought up to be so soft by nature, but now that he's free? Hugging is now second nature to him, and he wants to share as much comfort and love as possible. Think of this as his way of making up for the lost time.

2. Kara: Was, in fact, programmed for this. A mother bear to her core, one who is equally protective and fierce as she is tender and loving. She is absolutely the type to drop what she's currently doing and partake in a bit of snuggle time if she notices you're looking a little down or if you tell her something is the matter.

3. Chloe: Again, c'mon, you KNOW she is just the sweetest, and she's all for hugs! Surprisingly she's also pretty intuitive and, without asking, would be able to pick up on your body language and tell whether you needed something soft and quick or if you were in serious need of a little physical intimacy. Will probably give you a kiss on the cheek, to boot! (Consider the rest of the Chloes, too, for a cuddle pile.)

4. Simon: While it's true that Simon might come off as a little uneasy and quiet sometimes, to those close to him, it's less awkward and more calming. Gives the best hugs to those close to him. He's surprisingly warm and very comforting. Definitely, the one you'd want to go for if you were in the mood to just vibe out while in another's arms. ( He's a lot stronger than he looks.)

5. Markus: Simon and Markus are at about a tie regarding who is a better hugger, and it mostly comes down to personal preference. Markus is your guy if you're more in the mood for a strong, secure hug. But he's also probably not the type to initiate hugs or tell if you're in need of one.

  6. Josh: He would be much higher ranked here. However, it's just that he's more the one who would much rather receive a hug, rather than give on. But still, that isn't to say he would ever deny you a hug if you were to ask! Very gentle and calming, if everyday life left you feeling overwhelmed, and you just needed a break for a minute, he's your guy! Just be prepared to return the favor later.

7. Connor: Again, he is pretty quiet and maybe a little socially awkward, but he has a bit of a hidden sweet spot for hugs! Connor may come off as stiff with the hug, but he's doing his best! Though all this in mind, he likely won't initiate any physical touch with you unless you either ask first or if he asks and you say yes.

8. Daniel: Oh boy, if you're not someone he knows very well or has a long history with, any physical contact likely wouldn't go over well with him, full stop. However, if you can manage to get past his defenses and convince him he's safe around you, there's a whole other side to Daniel to get to know! Like Connor, Daniel likely wouldn't touch you without permission first, and he might unintentionally have a considerably firm grip and a bit of a clinger. But he does all this in an endearing way. Like a child who doesn't know any better but to cling as tight as possible to the people they love the most. You can't fault Daniel for acting like this or even see any of this as a bad thing, to an extent.

9. Hank: He is 100% the kind of person who says they hate hugs but will offer one if you're someone close and look like you really need one. Also, this goes both ways as he is the kind of person who never asks for one but wouldn't hate it if one were to offer. (Well, at least not in public, of course.)

10. Gavin: Alright, so disregarding the fact that it's probably a mistake to go to this man for emotional support any day. Additionally, this guy really falls flat when it comes to understanding the emotional needs of other people unless they outright tell him. So if you were feeling bad and asked for a hug, maybe you could get a half-decent hug out of it, perhaps he'll even throw in a joke to try and cheer you up here, but that's about as good as it might get with this one.

11. Kamski: Kinda a unique case this one! While most of the other characters rated lower on the list are poor huggers because they simply aren't the touchy-feely type, this does not extend to Elijah. He can tend to clam up and get a little awkward when it comes to hugs because he has issues with physical touch, but if you were to go to him, genuinely emotionally vulnerable and in need of comfort, he might freeze up here. It's a situation well outside his comfort zone, and he might be awkward.

12. Nines: A bad hugger in the "I don't see the point of this, and I don't care" full-stop mentality. He has potential sure, but I wouldn't count on it.

With a human reader who cries for the first time ever, but she suddenly slaps herself to shut herself up, as she “doesn’t need distractions” when she’s working, and that includes any emotion that isn’t complete focus

She goes back to a black face after that

The fact that Jericho crew is four people really cramps my vibe of allowing three characters per request. For this headcanon, I’ll be doing Markus, North, and Josh. Also, I assume you meant blank face. If not, then we’re gonna have some issues. Anyway:

Markus, North, and Josh react to a reader crying for the first time, only to stop themselves since there’s “no time for distractions”.

Markus

In the first moments you are crying, Markus is there to make sure you’re all right.

He’s actually really good at comforting others and something about him feels safe, which helps if you’re the type who likes physical comfort when in a pit of feelings.

And, to him, it doesn’t really matter that it’s the first time you’ve cried in front of him; he’d act like this regardless of who you are and how many times you’ve cried.

Though, when you slap at your face to pull yourself together from your crying, he’s taken aback.

He tries to encourage you not to slap your face when this happens, taking your hands to keep you from continuing the action.

He advises that crying is not a distraction. Like, you’re allowed to have feelings. And you’re allowed to express those feelings.

There is a little part of him that’s impressed that you can turn it off just like that - he thought that was more something in line of what an android would do.

But a majority of his reaction would be to keep you from hitting yourself, along with encouraging you to feel what you’re feeling.

It doesn’t really matter if you’re working or not, because, to him, you should come first, and if crying is something you need to do right now, then he encourages you to do it. The work will get done, it can wait. Let’s focus on you and what you need right now.

North

If she finds you crying, she’s concerned. Assuming she knows you well enough, she’ll be at your side.

She won’t really do a lot more than just be there, though. She’s not as familiar with comforting others, so she can offer herself as another body in space, which some people find to be enough.

When you begin to slap at your face, she’ll grab at your wrists to get you to stop.

She’ll start to talk you down, get you to breathe.

She can understand the want to not cry in front of others, but offers some better ways to go about bringing yourself down from a high emotion state.

She may not have the best experience with this, but the advice she offers is better than slapping yourself.

It mainly consists of a breathing exercise and an exercise that put yourself in space so you can ground yourself.

She’ll check up on you after that interaction, but will be indirect about it for the most part.

Josh

Josh is similar to North in that he’ll be beside you while you’re crying, but he lacks knowledge of what to do in situations like these.

He watches as a way to monitor you, to make sure you’ll be okay at the end of this.

When you begin to slap at your face, he intervenes, taking your hands and keeping them away from your face.

Talks you down like North does, discouraging the idea that slapping your face is the best way to stop crying, cause it really isn’t.

He’s the one of the three to have a really long conversation about you feeling as though crying is a distraction from your work. There’s so much more life outside of work, why prioritize that over everything else? Including yourself?

Josh uses words to incite action, so he offers alternatives to ways to calm yourself down after crying, along with resources about deconstructing the idea that crying is a distraction.

Having been a lecturer at a university, he knows where to find good resources, which comes in handy for situations like these.

Jericho was being attacked, Markus activated the bomb. The six of you were running towards the exit. "Fuck!" You yelped when you got shot in the leg, making you fall to the ground. The five androids turned around and looked at you.

"We have to go, Markus. There's not much time!" North yelled.

"We can still save them." Josh said. "They're just a human! They slaughter our people!" North argued, "We have to go!"

"No- I can't leave them!" Markus tried to reach for you but then North grabbed him.
