you met when you um...fell face first in front of everyone on the track court (lol i hope thats what its called cuz like girl my school was CHEAP we didnt have anything like that)

giving you kisses all over while you’re sleeping

SUPER PROTECTIVE OF YOU

especially at parties

he will have his hand resting on your hip or just resting on you so people know not to mess with you

if someone starts to bully you or hurt you in any way peter will threaten them and make them super scared

no one messes with his baby

have any fights he does ignore you but he cant ignore you for long cause he loves you and you are just so cute and sweet and you always make it up to him

have any issues with your fam or friends and you need to sleep over his house for some time just to find yourself he lets you and you sleep either on his bed or if you’re not comfortable he makes a bed on his floor that he sleeps on and you sleep in his bed

all in all peter is your baby and you would protect him with your life, he’s your soul your everything and he feels the same way about you two your relationship is so vanilla and adorable it makes grown men cry

you started a relationship with josh after he and margot split

it felt wrong to you at first and you tried to push the feelings away

josh is such a cinnamon roll

he is always so kind to you

he makes sure you’re okay and happy

you couldn't push him away any longer and decided to accept him as your boyfriend

at first pda was strange because of his relationship with margot but soon you showed it in baby steps at school around town

now holding his hand seems normal to you

hes the first one to text you

his texts are beautiful and so heart felt

HERE WE GO, TALKING ABOUT WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO TUTOR JOSH SANDERSON WHILE HARBORING A SECRET CRUSH ON HIM...

josh is an okay student

he doesn’t fail things, but he doesn’t have a perfect gpa either. that was always margot’s thing

he was a good student. didn’t have to be much more.

you were in his same boat, although you were a little more preoccupied with your grades

so when your history teacher said you could get extra credit on the test if you helped someone else study, you were all over it

and josh,,, well... the teacher thought he could use some help.

history is not his strong suit.

so she tells you that you are going to help josh sanderson and you nearly die right there

you were supposed to tutor the cute boy that distracted you during lectures?

you were getting extra credit to spend time with the boy you had a crush on??

part of you was very happy.

the more rational side of you knew that this was going to be more of a challenge than you though.

but the two of you decide to meet up on fridays after school and mondays before school

and... yeah. you realize why the teacher wanted this for him

dates??? places??? names??? josh was at a loss

but tiny details? he l i v e d for those

he could tell you what kind of weapons they used, what kind of food they ate, and what cities were created on a grid that those that weren’t

he could tell you what the fashion was, how men combed their beards, and how women did their hair

but gun to his head, he could not tell you what year the mexican-american war started

or what year the dust bowl occurred

or when the u.s. joined world war ii

but he could tell you what weapons were used

it was like he could get decades or half decades, but couldn’t memorize exact dates

but that wasn’t the case, because you knew for a fact he had baseball stats memorized for different years and players

so you asked him how he did it

“well, it’s easier when you have a face or team to put it to.”

and then it hit you

you could use photos for him to reference, and you could make maps to place events

and the heavens opened up

he distinguished historical figures by their beard or fashion sense, and that connects it to a specific period in time

it’s funny, almost

you joke that the two of you should go to an art museum sometime to see how good he is at guessing dates based off of small details

and the maps and timelines help, but some things just have to be flash carded

there is something to being a drill sergeant

and during this time, the two of you talk. a lot.

sometimes it gets to the point where you’ve been at the library all afternoon, and you haven’t studied a single important event

“i think your experiences are important events.”

and you b l u s h

“i mean events that are important to history.”

“time is relative... so history is too, right?”

“so, what? my history is important?”

“it is to me.”

and that’s one thing you came to learn about josh

he’s incredibly kind and thoughtful

and it wasn’t like you could protest against him for long

you wondered if he knew that.

and when he gets a 92% on his test, the two of you decide that for your usual friday study session, you should celebrate instead

just once couldn’t hurt, right?

and you go to an art museum

“guessing dates is harder than it looks.”

“but you’re doing amazing.”

“i learned from the best, didn’t i?”
