Okay SO- I am VERY much obsessed with Sunny Day Jack- I just have no idea how to draw him correctly- HOWEVER. AUs have been made of him, to my knowledge- aaaaand since I never got to do that for the welcome home fandom-
I did it for Jack!
Idk what to name the au yet- but its an au where the studio was actually smart and got rid of the tape of the incident (woah what a shocker) and Joseph's ghost possessed a doll instead of the tape! A doll that was, for some reason, conveniently missing its left eye- Many have found the one-eyed doll after the merchandise was all discarded, however due to its one eye and dirty state from being discarded, nobody would take it. The few who did often broke the doll more, ripping its jacket, its shirt, and even ripping off its right hand!
When Y/N eventually finds it, the doll is in horrible shape. The poor thing might aswell have been thrown into a trash compactor at this point! So, being the individual that they are, Y/N takes the doll and fixes it up. They sew a new button into his discarded eye, sew his hand back on (which was hanging by a thread before), and adding patches to his jacket to fix it up! However, since this happened, the doll has conveniently ended up in places Y/N hasn't left it in.. and chores have suspiciously been done around the house with the doll sitting beside the finished product. Y/N even found the doll in their bag when they got to the yogurtopia for their job a few times! Whatever could be happening..?
Thats the lore so far! If you wanna see more, let me know! And if you find the concept of aus cringe or "ruining fandoms" or whatever the hell- kindly go fuck off somewhere else, thank you very much.

Spill the Wine
Dio Brando x F!Reader
Yes, the title is a song reference, but the song has nothing to do with the plot LOL- Also not proofread because we die like real men here.
Warnings: Drunk sex, degradation, Dio being mean, semi public sex (you’re in the library and there are people over), face fucking, oral (m!receiving), slight fingering, Dio has a god complex (shocker), You actually get caught by Jonathan but not like caught caught. Mdni. I will block you.
Summary: You’re a good friend of Joseph and Erina, having known both of them since you were children. However, you’re adults now, and Joseph and his adopted brother just graduated college. Celebration is in order!
“Erina I’m serious!” You scoff and sit beside her on the picnic blanket, taking her hands into your own and looking her in the eyes seriously. “Joseph misses you very much! You can’t let that fool Dio stand in your way!”
“Well… I miss JoJo too… but I’m still afraid…” Erina trails off, frowning slightly. “What if Dio tries to do something again?”
“Oh please, he won’t do it again. It’s been years since then!” You roll your eyes and place a comforting hand on her cheek. “As a fellow woman, I won’t allow him to hurt you again. And as your friend, if he does such a thing he’ll be condemned to death by my shoes!” You laugh and lift up one of your legs, your dress riding up your calf as you wave your foot in the air.
“So.” You put your leg down and look her in the eyes. “Are you going to that party that JoJo is hosting at his estate, or are you not brave enough?”
Erina frowns and breaks eye contact with you.
“Y/n… you know I can’t…”
“But he still loves you, Erina! It’s been years and he still loves you!” You raise your voice slightly and pout. “Oh whatever, I’ll be going now, thank you for your time Erina.” You hop up off the ground and wave at her.
“Y/n please don’t-“
“It’s okay, I understand. But I’m going regardless. He is my friend and that stupid Dio is an acquaintance of mine, so I’m going. It’s a huge milestone in their lives and I’m going to celebrate with them.” You spun around and began to walk away, your dress swishing behind you. “Good day.”
“Y-Y/n!”
You sat on your bed, staring at the ceiling aimlessly as you waited for eight pm to roll around. You knew there were going to be a good number of people there, so you figured you’d socialize for a bit and then disappear to the library.
But that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?
Around seven, you began to get ready, putting on some decent earrings and bright red lipstick before hopping in the carriage your father had prepared for you.
Once you arrived, Jonathan greeted you with a smile, pulling you in for a warm hug. His father did the same, saying something along the lines of how you were like a daughter to him.
All things considered, the party was quite tame. There were people everywhere, surrounding Jonathan and Dio as they congratulated the boys on their successes. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes and head towards the library. If they wanted to talk to you, they would.
It was always like this.
Ever since you had known Jonathan, you had seemed to shy away from people. He attracted attention, and attention you avoided like the plague. He understood, however, and was willing to comfort you in your anxiety when necessary.
But he didn’t find you in your drunken and anxious state. He wasn’t the one that came into the library and talked you out of it, helping you sober up enough to face the crowd so you could go home. He wasn’t the one that walked through the doors of the library and called your name lazily, looking for you.
It was Dio that found you curled up in a ball towards the back of the library. And it was Dio who took care of you.
“My my, you look like a mess.” He walked over to you and sat down beside you, eyeing the bottle of wine that was resting at your side.
“Shut up…” You took a deep breath and held it. Not even the alcohol was able to calm you down. “The… people…”
“Ah yes, there are a lot of people here tonight, no?” Dio leaned over and grabbed the bottle of wine, hiding it from you with a chuckle.
You and Dio weren’t friends by any means, because you had heard about all of the terrible things he did to Jonathan. However, as time went on and as Jonathan forgave him, you did too. You grew to be acquainted with him, but you didn’t talk all that much unless he happened to catch you when you were alone.
Just like now.
“I hate people…” With a drunken sigh, you rested your head on his shoulder, your lips forming in a pout as you reached for the bottle of wine. Dio pulled it away and raised an eyebrow at you, a smirk forming on his lips.
“Me too.” He placed a gentle hand on your head and ran his fingers through your hair. You were drunk. And when you were drunk you were much more sensitive than usual. It was taking all he had to not tease you about your anxiety, and what little self control he had was being tested in this very moment.
“Why are you in here?” Your voice was soft, almost shy, which caught him off guard some. It was much different from the harsh, indifferent side of you he had grown to hate.
“Because I got bored.” He sighs and rests his head on the bookshelf behind him. “And JoJo told me to make sure you were still alive.” He looked down at your body, taking in the sight of you curled up next to him. “I guess I’ll just have to tell him that you died of alcohol poisoning in the library.”
“Please do.” You grumbled, letting out a long and over exaggerated sigh. “He’d be embarrassed to see me like this.” A soft hiccup escaped you as you frowned, pouting at the thought of Jonathan finding you in this state.
“He sees you like this all the time. What’s the harm now?” Dio scoffed and looked down at you, smirking ever so slightly.
“It’s his party… and I got drunk because I can’t handle people…” You sounded disappointed in yourself, as if you’re upset that you let it get this bad.
“Well… I have a way to sober you up, but I can’t guarantee it’s quickness.” Dio’s smirk grew and you can practically feel it as he stared down at you. He grabbed the bottle of wine and put it to his lips, chugging it like he needed it to survive. “But first…” he hiccuped. “I need to be drunker than you are.”
“H-Huh..?” You stared at him, eyes wide as he downed what was left of the wine. He popped his lips off of the bottle with an audible gasp, fighting for air as he turned to face you.
Without hesitation, he smashed his lips onto yours, forcing you to taste the wine he just downed. His tongue forced itself past your lips, pushing past your own and hungrily exploring every corner of your mouth.
It was almost like he had been waiting for this moment to come.
“My my y/n, you taste like a drunkard.” Dio chuckled as he pulled away from you, his left hand sliding underneath your dress while his right held you pressed against him. His hand was cold against your thighs, his fingers nearing your aching heat. However, he stopped moving and pushed you to the floor of the library, driving a knee between your legs and grinding it whilst you squirmed.
“D-Dio I-“ You but the inside of your cheek nervously, your legs shaking as you closed your eyes in anticipation.
Sure he wasn’t the first guy you’ve been intimate with, but he didn’t need to know that. No one needed to know it, actually. It was frowned upon to have sexual relations with someone you weren’t betrothed to. But you didn’t care.
You were young, so why not be reckless?
“No no no my dear.” He chided, and he leg stopped moving. You whined, longing for some form of friction, for some form of release. “You’re going to be nice and quiet for me.” He undid his belt and pulled down his pants, allowing his cock to spring free from its confines.
He grabbed your wrist and pulled you off of the floor, a grunt passing through his lips as he leaned back, giving you a nice view of his twitching cock. “D’ you like what you see, m’lady?” His words slurred together, but you didn’t care. He got his point through and that’s all that really mattered.
You crawled forward slowly, but too slowly according to Dio, seeing as he grabbed your arms and pulled you close, shoving your face down by his dick. He let out a pleased hum as he watched you lean forward and lick up his length, his eyes fluttering shut briefly before he pushed your head down onto his cock.
You gagged, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes as Dio helped you bob your head up and down. Sighs escaped him here and there, turning into whines as he thrust his hips against your face.
He sure was desperate for someone who seemingly didn’t like you.
Maybe it was just the wine.
“There you go, you filthy little wench.” He panted, his grip on your hair tighter as his thrusts became sloppier. Dio forced you off of his cock, chuckling softly at the audible ‘pop’ that echoed in the peaceful silence of the library. “Say ‘ah’.” He grinned as he stroked himself, his tip pointed at your tongue.
With a shameful groan, he came all over your face, treating you like a blank canvas that had yet to be painted.
He let out a breathy chuckle and pulled you into his lap, pushing up your dress and pushing aside your panties. Without warning, he inserted two fingers into your soaking cunt, thrusting at an insane pace.
“D-Dio-“
“Master Dio.” He corrected as you whined softly into his shoulder. “Lord Dio, even.” His fingers slowed inside you, and you shivered at the sudden lack of movement.
“L-Lord Dio…” You whispered, closing your eyes as you began to grind onto his fingers. His hand came up to your hip and held you in place harshly, his eyes seemingly glowing in the candle-lit room. He pulled his fingers out of your cunt slowly, hushing you when you whimpered drunkenly.
“Don’t be too loud now, or JoJo will hear us.” He leaned down to whisper into your ear, teasingly biting the shell of it as he pressed his tip against your lips. “I’m sure you wouldn’t want him to see you in such a…” He smirked and pushed himself in, cutting himself off with an unexpected moan. “O-Oh…” He trailed off and lost himself in you as he bottomed out.
He sat there for a couple of seconds, secretly relishing in the feeling of your tight pussy around him. It was wonderful, and it was everything he had hoped it would be.
You brought your hand to your face when he started thrusting, biting down harshly on it to prevent you from being too loud. However, Dio wasn’t making it easy in the slightest.
His pace was harsh, each thrust hitting deeper than the last and forcing you to see stars. Low grunts and whiny moans escaped him, and before you knew it, you were moving your hips in sync with him, both of you desperate for your release.
“Y/n? Are you in here?”
It was Jonathan.
Dio didn’t slow down and instead glared at you, silently threatening you into making the right decision. He waited for you to answer Jonathan, but you looked totally fucked out, unable to think of anything but the man who was rearranging your guts right now.
“Y-Yeah. I’ll be out in a few-!” You slurred slightly, slumping into Dio’s arms with a whiny sigh. The blonde chuckled and slowed his pace some, nearing his second release. His hand came down and found your clit, thumbing away at it until you felt your high getting nearer.
“In a few, you say?” He smirked. “You’re not going anywhere.”

2019 sketchdump, part 6 - Misc. Fandom / Selfinsert Stuff
Arcana apprentice, ready to throw down to protect her lover.
Various selfinsert headshots. From left to right: Shepard (Mass Effect), Deputy (Far Cry 5), Sole Survivor (Fallout 4), Trevelyan (Dragon Age: Inquisition), Ego (FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa).
Deputy and Joseph literally butting heads, both of them either too stubborn or prideful to give up.
I don't even remember what game this was for. It was a mobile game in any case, and I happened to fancy one particular hunter in the harem.
Mood piece? Related to Helix Waltz. I kind of just gravitate to characters who look like Ed. Shocker.
Skyrim Dragonborn in vampire armor.
Saints Row 4 president, causing mayhem in the streets. Probably streaking.
Geralt of Rivia and... so far unnamed selfinsert.
Bully / Canis Canem Edit, getting picked on by one of the posh girls and immediately socking her in the face.
Concept for unnamed Witcher 3 selfinsert's doublet
More concept for clothes for the unnamed W3 selfinsert. Civilian clothes, work clothes, pyjamas
Selfinsert getting stabbed by Eddie Gluskin (Outlast: Whistleblower), of all people. I was having bad dreams about him at the time and just really needed to get it out on paper
Very basic sketch, supposed to be related to Far Cry 5, showing the Deputy hauling ass through the (invisible) woods to get away from the cultists trying to run her down.
Sketch of one of the cut NPC's from the Ocarina of Time beta.

i heard washington was willing to give madison a bureaucratic position should he fail the house race in 1789—what do you think his politics would’ve been like if he was a member of the executive?
This is a really interesting question!! I don't think it would be very different.
So, firstly, the reason Madison wasn't considered seriously by Washington was because Washington had learned through his war experiences that giving appointments based off of seniority was very crucial to not upsetting very influential people, which is why the War and State departments went to General Henry Knox and Thomas Jefferson respectively, and Hamilton was not the first contender for Treasury Secretary. Knox would later get upset whenever Hamilton was selected for assignments before him, further demonstrating the importance of seniority.
Madison, though we know him as the fourth president and a prestigious southern landowner, did not have that kind of reputation in 1789, obviously. In the 1780s, he was still a rising star, and didn't have a whole lot of publicity in his toolbelt. He served in state committees, but only had two national positions, in the Philadelphia Convention (which was temporary) and in the Confederation Congress (but he wasn't particularly important there). While Washington respected him greatly and Jefferson was his friend, he couldn't give him a major appointment, such as being one of his ministers, without offending SOMEONE.
To get into your question, I think his politics would really depend on what department he was in charge of. We can eliminate Treasury because he didn't have any economic qualifications, and while Washington was not aware of Hamilton's financial skills when he appointed him, he intimately knew that Hamilton could manage a department, including the financial aspects. Madison was not particularly managerial, so Hamilton was more qualified in that respect, even though their experience levels were the same in Washington's perspective. And ofc, James Madison didn't know shit about war (i mean, look at how the War of 1812 went. yikes!)
Source: His Excellency: George Washington by Joseph J. Ellis
So this leaves the State department and Attorney General. Personally, I think Madison would only really qualify for the latter, since the only diplomatic experience he had was within the United States with the natives. However, Madison was an accomplished lawyer and the largest legal issues at this time concerned the Constitution, which Madison was THE expert of, as the author of the Virginia Plan and the most influential Federalist papers (according to Ellis, Washington was aware of the authors of The Federalist, I don't see how this is possible, but it is to Madison's credit.
Source: The Three Lives of James Madison by Noah Feldman, His Excellency: George Washington by Joseph J. Ellis
Madison's legal career began with the defense of freedom of religion, which we can see in the Constitution, and consistently throughout his life. This is definitely a hill he'd die on, and he was very well educated on it. Basically, just look at the Bill of Rights ("which i wrote/the ink hasn't dried"), and you can see, for the most part, Madison's key beliefs. ACTUALLY i recommend reading the original draft of the Bill of Rights because you can get a more clear picture of what Madison believed should be specified in the Constitution.
Source: The National Archives
Ron Chernow is gonna get mad at me but i KNOW, I KNOW, that Thomas Jefferson was a major influence on Madison's views in the 1790s. "Well, Jefferson wasn't even in America when Madison betrayed Hamilton" I DONT GIVE A RATS ASS RON, EVER HEARD OF A FUCKING LETTER, YOU ANCIENT BITCH?! News flash, this isn't ancient fucking Greece, you can WRITE LETTERS TO PEOPLE IN FRANCE FROM NEW YORK IN 1790 YOU DUMB ASS. Anyway.
Jefferson was a political radical (shocker! he never stopped being absolutely insane), and he definitely pushed Madison. I talked about this in my post about their relationship, however, I want to emphasize that Jefferson did have a perceivable influence on Madison's opinions, and you can see it in their correspondence. And, yes, Jefferson was a manipulative person, but he was also a fellow Virginian who took states' rights very seriously. I think that was the most influential aspect on Madison, was that someone from his home state was in his ear telling him how much injustice was being done to people from his native region, and how he should be fighting back against that. When we see Madison in the executive, he quickly realizes why Washington and Hamilton and the other guys that were in executive positions during the Revolution were Federalists. He struggled so much in 1812, because you cannot wage a war on an united platform, and thats what he and Washington had in common.
It seems like, from this perspective, that if Madison were Attorney General, or even a Secretary, he'd have that realization sooner. I don't think so. If Hamilton, in his hypothetical, was not Secretary of the Treasury, maybe he would, and maybe he'd remain a Federalist, since it was Hamilton's financial plan that caused Madison's switch in political party, but if Hamilton was still Treasury Secretary, Madison would still switch. Hamilton's Report on Public Credit said "fuck you we need to fix this crisis, facts over feelings" to states' rights activists, and Madison and Jefferson took that as a personal attack.
Source: Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow
To wrap things up, Madison's core values would not change, and a position in the executive would give him more of a platform to implement them, and that might have affected the judicial reforms around the turn of the century, but I really don't think we'd see a huge jump. Thank you for your question!

Traintober Day 3
Trust - A Much Needed Chat
Implication of homophobic laws and past minor character death
Edward and Henry were frankly barely even colleagues, the latter having only worked at the NWR at that point for just under 6 months. They rarely had lunch together, and Edward was never interested in the youth’s point of view of the world. It was too jarring.
Edward and Thomas were colleagues. nothing more, nothing less. They occasionally had lunch together, and even less often shared opinions on the latest news, but in the end they were just two people who worked on the railway.
Joseph and Richard were Edward's two other colleages. They more often than not had their lunch together, and most of the time loved to chat about anything and everything. And then suddenly, one day, none of that could or would continue.
Edward stared at the fenced off remains of the Wellsworth sheds. Joseph and Richard weren't even supposed to be there, but a broken switch had caused them to have to stay there for the night. They died in their sleep, and didn't know the wiser.
That was a vision he saw every night as he closed his eyes. Even after the tonnes of scrap metal and masonry had been cleared, and the sheds rebuilt for use, it remained. Even after the cold winter's day of the funeral, it remained. And, much to no one's surprise, he did not tell a soul.
“You look like shit. Your eyebags are humongous. What’s up,” Henry eventually asked as they were having lunch one day. Edward shrugged.
“It’s nothing, really.”
Henry rolled his eyes. “It’s nothing, really- shut up Edward you’re trying to deal with grief by yourself and honestly that’s stupid. You need a chat. A good honest chat.”
Edward paused. “I wouldn’t want to be a bother.”
“Your constant radiation of extreme survivor’s guilt is what’s the bother - it’s veering on contagiousness.”
“Well… alright then. It is dinner so I’m guessing neither of us have anything to do. Admittedly it would be best if we went somewhere more private. For both of our sakes.”
So they found themselves sitting in Edward’s apartment, not sure of what to say, before eventually Henry spoke up. “Why did Joseph and Richard’s death hurt you?”
“Isn’t it obvious? They’re people I have worked with for most of my life, and now they’re gone. Is it really that hard to tell?”
“I mean…” Henry muttered. “Several people I know have been killed in the air raids and it didn’t affect me much…”
“Well, some people have a larger tolerance for death. For me, this was a new thing. They’re the first people I know who have died.”
“Hm. Shocker. You’re so old I never would’ve guessed.”
“Did your teachers ever tell you to be respectful to your elders?”
“Sure.”
Edward sighed. “Well, how have you been holding up?” Henry paused for a second. And then another. “Hard to say. Really hard to say.”
“Why?”
Henry paused. “Well I can really only explain by giving you the full explanation and that- I’m not sure if I should do that.”
“It won’t hurt anyone apart from our schedules and even those are empty.”
Henry took in a deep breath. “Promise you will tell no one. And please don’t report me to the police.”
“You didn’t kill them… did you?”
“What the actual fuck Edward of course not.”
“Then why don't you want the police involved.”
There was about a minute of pure silence. You could've heard a pencil scrape.
Henry took a breath in. “I'm a homosexual. I had a crush on Joseph. I also miss Richard but not to the same extent. Do you get what I mean?”
Edward hesitated. “Did you really think I was going to tell the police about that fact? Who do you think I am?”
“I was being careful, okay? So yeah, I do miss them but I guess I show it less. So I'm fine but I'm not at the same.”
Edward nodded. “Fair. Minus the homosexuality I'm much the same. Good chat. Is that what you wanted to talk about?”
“Probably.”
Sometimes Edward and Henry talked. About anything, really. And quite often it ended up with them having lunch together.

So I’m watching Battle Tendency in Japanese, and I got to Lisa Lisa’s backstory. Something I had forgot about was that Speedwagon said that even though George didn’t know Hamon, he had the makings of a Hamon Master
And that made me think. What if George Joestar the 2nd *did* know hamon? Would it have been him who fled to Italy instead? Would Lisa Lisa and baby Joseph have gone with him? Or maybe he never would’ve been caught and family could’ve stayed together?
I'm gLAD YOU ASKED >:3
SO
George II successfully manages to fend off and kill the vampire...... but unfortunately for him from the perspective of everyone else, this was still a murder. However, Lisa Lisa is still just as Ride Or Die for her husband as she is in canon, so like hell she's letting him just go off on his own
the result? George II, Lisa Lisa, and an infant Joseph all leaving the country, moving to Italy together, and living on Air Supplena Island
now, Joseph is practically a Hamon prodigy. He was already extremely powerful in canon from his natural ability alone, so being the son of and trained by two masters in the art since before he knew how to walk and talk? yeah Joseph's going to be terrifying
and they kinda just. Vibe on Air Supplena. They make trips to the mainland and exchange weekly letters with Erina and Speedwagon, but they're a bit..... isolated in their bubble. There are only a handful of people who visit the island, and an even smaller amount live there full time. Joseph ends up making close friends with all the groundskeepers since they're...... kinda the only people he can talk with, and he practically begs them to tell him all about Italy and the rest of the world. He's only ever seen a fraction of Venice, and everything else only in books. So the idea of other places, other people..... it sounds magical
It's very lonely though. Joseph wishes he could be like the kids on the mainland sometimes, constantly surrounded by other people he could talk to who are living their own lives and have their own stories and experiences and skills
but enter Mario Zeppeli :)
see, this time the man actually realizes "hey, maybe abandoning my 5 children all under the age of 10 is a bad idea" and ends up leaving them with the Air Supplena Crew
now, Joseph is absolutely ecstatic. People! Who are his age!!! And he can talk with!!!!! He's never really been able to socialize with new people for more than a handful of hours at a time, let alone other kids, so this is basically the best thing that could possibly happen
the Zeppeli Siblings....... admittedly not as excited. Their father had more or less just dropped them off with strangers without warning and they have no idea what the hell is going on. Learning that magic apparently exists was..... quite the shocker
but aside from that, for the most part the build up to Part 2 is mostly the same. Caesar is still pretty pissed at his father, and Mario still unfortunately dies which gives him incentive to learn Hamon and stuff. The siblings are handling things pretty well and are living their lives
but of course, everything comes to head when Joseph gets word from his granny that Speedwagon went missing :3
also maybe some caejose(maybe q) things end up happening in a childhood enemies to rivals/friends to lovers thing too-

Writer Asks
Tagged by @bluecatwriter
I think I've done this one before!! There's more questions this time, but this is an interesting blast to the past to see how I've changed.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
59 works
2. What's your total ao3 word count?
300,805 words
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Right now, Dracula. In the past: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sanders Sides, Castlevania, Elisabeth, etc.. If you fuse the fandoms that intersect it's about 18 fandoms.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Orice (Dracula, Jonathan has A Time; unsurprising, it is my longest by far)
When Providence Favours Witches (Castlevania [specifically Netflixvania], Trevor gets adopted by Lisa; also not surprising, very popular fandom)
Lückenbüßer (TF2, Trans Scout talks to Ally Medic; shocker!! that's a single-chapter fic!!)
Pseudo-Asthma (JJBA: Battle Tendency, Joseph has a heart-to-heart with his mom; woah! that was only 3 chapters!!)
Bewitching (JJBA: Phantom Blood, Dio genderbend; of course, I can never escape it even if it is a hiatus fic)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yeah, sometimes even if it is just to say "thank you!!" I like to talk about my writing a lot and comments are the place I get to go into detail about my thought process.
6. What's the fic you wrote that has the angstiest ending?
Vulture in Saviour's Robes, I had people yelling at me for this one (in a good way), so it's really no competition, huh.
7. What's the fic you wrote that has the happiest ending?
It's gotta be one of the one-shots iojegp. To suggest a less well-known one: A Pitiable Performance, J&H and Dorian Gray crossover, Utterson and Lanyon go to see a play and Sibyl Vane is the lead actress.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not much. Oh wait--- oijegpioerg trauma engaged. Orice got a LOT of hate at some point, someone in the fandom really wanted me dead so they rallied a bunch of people against me. My crimes were: 1. writing a Jonathan POV story 2. supposedly writing Renfield to be a bad guy. None of it reached my comment section thankfully, but when I found out I was very paranoid that someone would dox me over fanfiction.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
For a period of time, I swear that was all I wrote iojgepri. My specialty is dom/sub with plenty of aftercare, though I've also written some dubious consent stuff. Silver Crystal Carousel (Dracula, John/athan dom/sub) is my most recent smutfic, it was so hard to get back into the dirty groove especially since I was writing in first person.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Yeah, but not much. I get plenty of ideas for crossovers, but they're pretty difficult to write.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yeah. I'd say lost and you'd say love was translated into Russian and posted on ficbook.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Same answer as before: Only one (The Apostles), and it was mostly a self-imposed research project with my friend. They did the research, and I wrote the incorrect quotes and a short Jedas one-shot.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
How could I possibly choose. If you go by fic count it's Jesus/Judas ijopegij. I'd say... JonMina and JonEri. I really like writing already established relationships.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?
So many. So many of them. There's some that are barely started!!! To name one y'all will be familiar with: the continuation of An Odd Doctor.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I've been praised for my characterization a lot recently!! Specifically with VH in Orice, I've gotten a lot of compliments on his characterization being complex. I'm really happy about that.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Everything-- *gets shot* I don't know how to articulate!! Sometimes I get ideas and I try to write them, but it's all in pieces, and I don't know how to fix it into a fully-fledged narrative.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I have gotten help with that in the past for Lückenbüßer. I don't do it often, it is difficult to pull off in a way that doesn't take the reader out of the story. I suggest a translation key in the notes. If you aren't familiar with the language and don't have a buddy who is, I'd say it's perfectly acceptable to write the dialogue in your native language and put it in italics.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
There is no way of knowing, truly. On ao3, Greek Mythology and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood. Why both? The Daffodil's Echo was written first but The Shocking Absence of Grief was posted first.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
How does one choose!? I'm very proud of what I've done with the Orice series. Of course, it's not done tho. I'm very proud of finishing Perfidy (Elisabeth and Rudolf crossover)!
Get your ass over here @fitzrove!! You too @company-and-co!!

Mer and Jacob for the ship ask <3
Prompt: Send me a ship and I’ll answer: / Tagging, @angryvengeful
Gives nose/forehead kisses: Both (just depends on the occasion)
Gets jealous the most: Jacob (shocker)
Takes care of on sick days: Both (Mer would tell herself she's doing it to keep up pretences)
Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Mercedes (and he'd let her eventually)
Brings the other lunch at work: Mercedes (and use it as an excuse to snoop around/see him)
Tries to start role-playing in bed: JACOB
Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Neither? (for sure not Mer, at least; I'm cackling at the idea of Jacob getting drunk and dancing badly though, he wouldn't ya know... but the visuals are hilarious)
Firmly believes in couples costumes: Jacob... BUT HEAR ME OUT: not like for Halloween, but her in full combat attire (he'd lose his mind then, rub it in Joseph's face too)
Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Mercedes (she loves splurging for expensive things by default so getting him something even only to mess with him and make him wear something designer just to see him squirm, is definitely a thing she would do)
Makes the other eat breakfast: Both (though Jacob goes there first)
Remembers anniversaries: Both
Brings up having kids first: Jacob (but think of it in "they're in bed and he finds it hot" context, not him actually entertaining the dad idea fully)
Kills the bugs: Jacob
First to define them as a couple: Jacob
Who hides their guilty pleasures longer: Mercedes (for every truth he gets out of her, there's 10000 lies she's told prior and after, it's like a layer of protection for her)
Snorts while laughing: Neither
#Jacob pulling some drunk moves sounds way too funny but damn how drunk does he have to be for something like it to happen 😂#ty for the ask <3#oc: mercedes “mercy” sibley#jacob x mercedes#ship: the deceiver and the wolf#jacob seed x mercedes sibley#fc5 ocs#far cry 5 oc#wip: in hope of tomorrow#jacob seed x oc#ship dynamics#ask prompt#ask game#oc asks#oc prompt#my ships#ship analysis#oc questions

God is dead and we have killed him. This time is the last.
Being God is not just one mans hobby. It's closer to a job. Similarly to a Roman emperor, you are an omnipotent ruler, but just on a larger scale. And, of course, if you have a well defined role where you work at, it's easier than if you're "Brenda who knows all the ins and outs of the hellish accounting system".
Therefore, there have been many gods. I was the last. How does the process of change work? Of course, not by nepotism. Your son doesn't inherit the throne, why would he? As you're the god, you don't age. So, trial by combat. That's how it's picked. A mere mortal challenges you, perhaps wronged by the cosmos, perhaps just looking for "cool points". (Because let's be real. It's really cool to kill a god.) And so, the cycle begins. Certain, mostly small reforms.
Examplewise, Joseph, husband of the virgin Mary. Zeus, one of the current gods tried to seduce Mary. Joseph won the fight. So technically, Jesus was god's son. Thing is, they were wrong about it not being Joseph's son. Before Joseph, being a god was a team effort. Greek mythology pantheon and everything. But then, reform. Joseph became dictator, as was the style at the time. The Romans switched from power being held by a senate picking a few to lead the country to one man, merely twenty-seven years ago, so why shouldn't godhood be the same?
Then, getting too comfortable. Eventually, the cycle continues, again and again. Examplewise:
Fast forward roughly 1.8 thousand years. A man, Fredrik Nietzsche, challenges the god. He wins, but on one condition. He will only become god when he dies. Afterwards, he comes back to earth and writes "God is dead". Thanks to semantics, he was wrong, the current god would be dead soon. The position isn't in a threat. Also, he feared he'd be declared insane. So, he rewrote the context around the quote.
About how Christianity is "bound to collapse". Thing is, it didn't(!). Then, after roughly twenty years, he passed. The "wait until you die" clause was there to give Joseph the last laugh. His final statement as a god was "Nietzsche is dead -God".
Then, fast forward a hundred years. I, as a fool, decide to try getting the position of God. I mean why not? I win. Shocker, I know. Then, the cycle begins. Thing is, I'm determined to break it. So, a new system. A parliamentary democracy. Every single living creature, voting for the political party they believe in. If five percent or over of everybody votes for your party, you're in Parliament. Then, Parliament votes on issues. Yes, the parties have leaders, but they are nothing but figureheads. A charismatic voice, talking about what their party will do. The position of God is still there, but just as a figurehead. Every five hundred years, Parliament votes for a new God. Therefore, us humans have killed God. The position. It bears almost no resemblance to the original role except in name. So therefore, Nietzsche eventually became correct, even though he never expected it to be in this way.
-The end

Ramble of the month February 2024: 90’s MCU phase 5 – transitioning from Secret Wars to Infinity Wars
Having spent much of last month and a fair bit of this one working on submissions to literary agencies for my autism book, this month’s ramble and the one for next month took a bit of a back seat, and as such I’ve still not been able to vary myself away from delving further into my hypothetical Marvel and DC film universes. Apologies to anyone who, like me, were hoping to vary things more. However, hopefully what we cover in this ramble and the next will make up for it, and as April will be Autism Awareness time, I can guarantee something different for then.
By this point, I’m sure readers don’t need as much of a recap on what these posts to do with my 90’s-based MCU are about. Long story short, I’ve done what the meme makers don’t; looked at the comic book and real-world history of Marvel from that era to create an actual 90’s based MCU instead of putting 90’s actors into a present-day MCU. However, as we’re into a fifth phase and well past the 1990’s, we should at least quickly review phases 1-4 first.
Phase 1:
1992: Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man
1993: Thor, Spider-Man, Ant-Man & The Wasp
1994: Captain America: Fantastic Four 2, Iron Man 2
1995: X-Men, Avengers, Daredevil
Phase 2:
1996: Spider-Man 2, Thor: Land of Enchantment, Silver Surfer
1997: Hulk vs Wolverine, Fantastic Four: Doomsday, Iron Man 3
1998: Captain America: Society of Serpents, Daredevil 2, X-Men 2
1999: Avenger 2, Spider-Man 3, Doctor Strange
Phase 3:
2000: Fantastic Four: World War III, Thor: Ragnarök, Daredevil 3
2001: Hulk: Rise of the Leader, X-Men: Fall of the Mutants, Avengers: Under Siege
2002: Doctor Strange 2, The Captain, Spider-Man 4
2003: Captain Britain, Fantastic Four: Enter the Negative Zone, Ghost Rider
Phase 4:
2004: Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Secret Wars: Part I
2005: Excalibur, Defenders, Ghost Rider 2
2006: X-Factor, Secret Wars: Part II, Heroes For Hire
2007: Namor the Submariner, Doctor Strange 3, Iron Man: Enter The Mandarin
As discussed in previous rambles, phase 1 was all about establishing the MCU and its characters, phase 2 was about the expansion and development of the continuity, while phase 3 was mostly about many characters and teams losing, being put on the back foot and so on. Phase 4 then covered Secret Wars, which temporarily deprived Earth of some major MCU heroes to put them through a real alien war, and in the process also allowed some other heroes to come to the fore. Phase 5 then becomes about following on from some of those plot threads while beginning the set-up for this MCU’s version of the Infinity War. So, let’s quickly show you the phase 5 slate and then get right into the details of these would-be films.
Phase 5:
2008: Spider-Man 5, Fantastic Four: Unthinkable, Ms Marvel
2009: Elektra, Black Panther 2, Defenders 2
2010: X-Men: Proteus, Spider-Man 6, Ant-Man 2
2011: Silver Surfer 2, Avengers vs X-Men, Ghost Rider 3
Spider-Man 5 (2008) Directed by Matthew Vaughan
Peter Parker/Spider-Man = Wil Weaton
May Parker = Marg Helgenberger
Flash Thompson = Ben Affleck
J. Jonah Jameson = J.K. Simmons
Joseph "Robbie" Robertson = Denzel Washington
Betty Brant = Parker Posey
Ned Leeds = John Barrowman
Eddie Brock = Wentworth Miller
Randy Robertson = Taye Diggs
Harry Osborn = Ryan Phillipe
Mary-Jane Watson = Alison Hannigan
Herman Schultz/Shocker = Patrick Muldoon
Felicia Hardy/The Black Cat = Elisha Cuthbert
Roderick Kingsley/Hobgoblin = Michael Keaton
Quentin Beck/Mysterio = Nathan Fillion
Captain Jean DeWolff = Jessica Biel
Detective Stanley Carter/”Sin Eater” = James Marsden
In the first three Spider-Man films, we built up to Peter befriending the Osborns and dating Gwen, only for the Green Goblin/Death of Gwen story arcs to play out in Spider-Man 3. The fourth film then gave Peter a clash with the Sinister Six as he struggles to come to terms with Gwen’s death. Following Secret Wars, Peter now has the alien costume, and so film 5 is basically the alien costume story arc. Sounding a little too much like the Raimi/Maguire Spider-Man 3? Trust me, it’s not like that and for two key reasons. Firstly, I’m not trying to shoe-horn Venom in for the third act, just set him up for another film. Second, I’ve chosen Wentworth Miller of Prison Break and The Flash fame to play Eddie Brock, and that’s far from being our only change.
In this film, Peter’s occupied trying to stop a series of illusion thefts being committed on behalf of a new “kingpin”, who turns out to be the Hobgoblin, while also having to track down a notorious serial killer called the “Sin Eater”. As the alien costume influences Peter ever more, the question becomes less will he stop all the criminals, but rather will he become one. Matters are further complicated when costume thief Black Cat begins seducing Spider-Man and the alien costume pushes Peter to accept this despite his relationship with Mary-Jane. The film culminates with a chance clash with the Shocker revealing the alien nature of Peter’s costume, forcing him to finally fight it off. Eddie Brock gaining the symbiote is then handled in a credit’s scene.
Direction-wise, I picked Matthew Vaughan as he’s a proven superhero film director due to his work on X-Men: First Class. He’s the fourth director to take a hand on Spider-Man solo film in this hypothetical MCU, with John Hughes having directed the first two, and 3 and 4 being handled by Frank Darabont and Martin Campbell, respectively.
Fantastic Four: Unthinkable (2008) Directed by Roland Emmerich
Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic = Tom Hanks
Susan Storm (Richards)/Invisible Woman = Meg Ryan
Johnny Storm/Human Torch = David Spade
Ben Grimm/Thing = Bryan Cranston
Alicia Masters = Heather Graham
Agatha Harkness = Angela Lansbury
Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom = Goran Višnjić
Hauptmann = Ronald Guttman
Nick Fury = Tommy Lee Jones
Black Bolt = Pierce Brosnan
Medusa = Elizabeth Hurley
Crystal = Dina Meyer
Gorgon = J.G. Hertzler
Karnak = Alexander Siddig
Triton = Orlando Bloom
T'Challa/Black Panther = Chadwick Boseman
Namor McKenzie/The Submariner = Christian Bale
Barbara "Bobbi" Morse/Mockingbird = Rebecca Romijn-Stamos
Jericho Drumm/Brother Voodoo = Doug E. Doug
Having had the Fantastic Four directed by Leonard Nemoy (films 1-2), Steven Spielberg (films 3-4) and Ridley Scott (film 5), this MCU closes out their share of films under the stewardship of Roland Emmerich, notable for such films as Independence Day, White House Down and Midway. This film adapts the events of the storylines ‘Unthinkable’ and ‘Authoritative Action’, but leaves the events of ‘Hereafter’ to the comics and begins introducing the Infinity Stones. Since non-comics fans and fans who haven’t read those stories won’t get those references, let’s do a quick summary.
In the comics, Doctor Doom turned to magic for an attack on the Fantastic Four, which resulted in Reed and Sue’s son Franklin being taken to hell, and the team having to storm Latveria to get him back. During the incident, Doom scarred Reed before being dragged into hell. Afterwards, Reed seized control of Latveria to dismantle Doom’s arsenal and craft a permanent prison for Doom, one in which Reed would serve as warden. However, when the rest of the team tried to stop Reed, Doom somehow began to possess each in turn, ultimately forcing Reed to kill Ben Grimm just to stop Doom. The events of the Hereafter arc involved a trip into the afterlife to bring Ben back, in the process healing Reed’s scars.
In this film, Franklin is kidnapped and taken to a demon dimension, and Sue leads a rescue team comprised of her, Ben Grimm, Brother Voodoo and the Black Panther to save Franklin while Reed and Johnny attack Doom, aided by the Inhumans and Namor the Submariner. The attack seemingly defeats Doom, after which Reed leads the F4 to Latveria, seizing control of the nation. Fearing Doom is somehow influencing Reed, Nick Fury of SHIELD intervenes along with Mockingbird, Voodoo, Namor and T’Challa, only for the seemingly captured Doom to begin telepathically controlling the other F4 members. Ultimately, Reed manages to force a feedback that wipes Doom’s mind, but in the process, Ben Grimm dies as he does in the comics. With Ben’s death, the Fantastic Four decide to step back from hero work, becoming a think tank called the Future Foundation.
The bulk of the film’s cast is from past films, with the only new addition being mystical nanny Agatha Harkness, played by Angela Lansbury in better keeping with the comics version of the character. As for the Infinity Stone I mentioned, that would be the mind stone, which Doom uses to control the various F4 members until Reed works out Doom is channelling the stone’s power and creates the feedback.
Ms Marvel (2008) Directed by Gates McFadden
Carol Danvers/Ms Marvel = Melissa Joan Hart
Michael Barnett = Brian Krause
J. Jonah Jameson = J.K. Simmons
Frank Gianelli = Rory Cochrane
Tracey Burke = Kate Mulgrew
Tabitha Townsend = Kyla Pratt
Lynn Andersen = Amanda Seyfried
Mystique/Raven Darkholme = Connie Nielsen
Rogue = Anna Paquin
Avalanche = Alessandro Gassmann
Fred J Dukes/Blob = Vince Vaughan
Pyro = Hugh Jackman
Irene Adler/Destiny = Sally Field
When it comes to trying to tackle Carol Danvers in films, one story that’s yet to hit the big screen is the story of her downfall against the X-Man Rogue back when Rogue was part of Mystique’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Indeed, the 90’s animated series of the X-Men is the only adaptation to handle this, and they did it by neatly sidestepping some disturbing backstory. Long story short, there was a story arc in the Avengers comics around the late 70’s/early 80’s where Carol (then codenamed Ms Marvel) was mind-controlled and raped by an extra-dimensional being so he could be reborn in a body compatible with Earth, then after fast-growing to adulthood, his presence caused a bunch of time disruptions. When Carol then agreed to go with this being, the Avengers made no effort to prevent this.
When Chris Claremont wrote Rogue into Avengers Annual 10 and showed Rogue rocking Carol’s powers, the question that came to be asked was why Carol hadn’t sought out the Avengers upon returning to Earth, and the answer was made clear. The team hadn’t shown any real concern for Carol during her strange accelerated pregnancy, and then let her go off with a blatantly mind-controlling rapist from another dimension. As such, telling the story of Carol clashing with Rogue and the Brotherhood should never be an exact re-telling. Claremont’s story in Avengers Annual 10 was as much about correcting what the writer of the main comics at that time had written, and with film adaptations, you’re better off just taking a different path entirely.
In this case, we’re showing Carol working as an investigative journalist for a Daily Bugle-owned women’s magazine, who uses the Ms Marvel identity to tackle crime where needed. This is based on her original run in the comics, so we have Jameson borrowed from the Spider-Man films while using the magazine staff from the comics for supporting roles. As for the villains, roles from past films like Mystique and Pyro are combined with newly cast actors to give us our second MCU Brotherhood. The film draws in a mix of acting talent, with Melissa Joan Hart reprising the role of Carol Danvers, and Trek alumni Gates McFadden directing the film. McFadden has played the mutant Plague/Pestilence for three X-films before this and has some directing experience, making her a good choice for this project.
Elektra (2009) Directed by Roxann Dawson
Elektra Natchios = Leonor Varela
Stick = Scott Glenn
Stone = Sigourney Weaver
Kirigi = Daniel Henney
Frank Simpson/Nuke = John Cena
Matsu'o Tsurayaba = Hiroyuki Sanada
Kwannon = Kelly Hu
Turk Barrett = Gary Dourdan
The story of Elektra following her death in Daredevil is one Fox didn’t quite get right, in large part because they tried to incorporate plot elements and tropes that didn’t tonally fit with the character. Having used two Daredevil films to set her up before giving the character a one-shot solo film, I think the best thing is taking those bits out. Instead, we get the Hand going after the Chaste with Elektra in the middle, and when Elektra proves more than they can handle, they bring in the pill-popping assassin known as Nuke. It’s a straight-up martial arts action film initially, but then becomes a more Punisher-like action film when Nuke comes on the scene.
Trek alumni Roxann Dawson takes the helm because she’s one of the few women I know of that would be directing anything back around this time. Considering that films with female leads are often better handled by female directors, it makes sense to try and make this the case wherever possible. The cast is either retained from past films of picked to be more comic-accurate. Case-in-point, picking American actor Scott Glenn to play Stick rather than English actor Terrence Stamp.
Black Panther 2 (2009) Directed by Tim Burton
T'Challa/Black Panther = Chadwick Boseman
Shuri = Tatyana Ali
Ramonda = Alfre Woodard
T'Chaka = Courtney B. Vance
W'Kabi = Chiwetel Ejiofor
Okoye = Nia Long
Zuri = Joseph Marcell
M'Baku = Idris Elba
Nakia = Lupita Nyong'o
Monica Lynne = Kerry Washington
Baron Macabre = Sterling K Brown
Jerome Beechman/Mandrill = Joaquin Phoenix
Nekra Sinclair = Toks Olagundoye
Kevin Plundarr/Ka-Zar = Chris Hemsworth
Shanna O'Hara = Scarlett Johansson
Zaladane = Jolene Blalock
Everett Ross = Martin Freeman
In Black Panther 2, T’Challa becomes allied with Ka-Zar of the Savage Land when it turns out his hidden jungle in Antarctica houses a cache of Vibranium to rival Wakanda’s. Most would-be Vibranium hunters baulk at trying to gain the Antarctic variety due to the dinosaurs, but soon both nations are threatened when the woman-controlling mutant Mandrill, his adoptive sister Nekra, the Savage Land priestess Zaladane and Wakandan criminal Baron Macabre team up. Due to the inclusion of some of these villains, I opted to switch from Tim Story to Tim Burton from a directing stand-point. This film also features a change of role for a couple of real-world MCU alumni.
Defenders 2 (2009) Directed by Stephen Sommers
Dr Stephen Strange = Johnny Depp
Namor McKenzie/The Submariner = Christian Bale
Bruce Banner/Hulk = John Cusack
Silver Surfer = David Wenham
Valkyrie = Diane Kruger
Kyle Richmond/Nighthawk = Josh Duhamel
Patsy Walker/Hellcat = Mena Suvari
Wong = Will Yun Lee
Clea = Keira Knightley
Jericho Drumm/Brother Voodoo = Doug E. Doug
Dr Anthony Druid = Mark Strong
Daimon Hellstrom = James Van Der Beek
Dr Tania Belinsky (Belinskaya)/Red Guardian = Beatrice Rosen
Dr Arthur Nagan = Julian McMahon
Dr Jerold "Jerry" Morgan = Stellan Skarsgård
Ruby Thursday = Alyssa Milano
Harvey Schlemerman/Chondu the Mystic = Stanley Tucci
Shuma-Gorath = Geoffrey Rush
The Defenders, Marvel’s superhero non-team, return for a second instalment at this point, and I’ve picked Stephen Sommers as director based on him directing a live-action GI Joe film around the same time. In this film, the few routinely active Defenders learn via immigrant Russian doctor and superhero Red Guardian that a team of scientists called the Headmen have stolen the Reality Stone from AIM in an effort to seize world power for themselves. Allying with Namor the Sub-Mariner, the Defenders seek to stop the Headmen while Clea joins with Brother Voodoo, Dr Druid and Daimon Hellstrom to try and bring back Doctor Strange from the extra-dimensional limbo he sacrificed himself to in Doctor Strange 3. At the same time, the Silver Surfer seeks the Hulk. The whole team then comes together when the Headmen open a portal for Shuma-Gorath, in the process transforming into their strange comic-style appearances.
Everyone from Dr Druid on down in the cast list is new. As for why we’re skipping over the original male Red Guardian and focusing on the second female iteration for this MCU, there’s two reasons. First, the second female iteration served as a Defender in the original comics, and second, these MCU rambles are focused on the main film continuity, which in this version of the MCU is strictly cinematic. TV shows, while allowed as tie-ins, are optional content, and while I’d happily allow a TV show to dive in on Black Widow and some other characters, I think a film was and is a bit much for a character with so little solo comics content.
X-Men: Proteus (2010) Directed by LeVar Burton
Storm/Ororo Monroe = Halle Berry
Polaris/Lorna Dane = Jeri Ryan
Wolverine/Logan = Tom Cruise
Peter Rasputin/Colossus = Henry Cavill
Remi LeBeau/Gambit = Zachary Levi
Cyclops/Scott Summers = Patrick Swayze
Jean Grey = Milla Jovovich
Warren Worthington III/Archangel = Neil Patrick Harris
Beast/Hank McCoy = Alec Baldwin
Robert Drake/Iceman = Michael Weatherley
Banshee/Sean Cassidy = Liam Neeson
Dr Moira Mactaggert = Olivia Williams
Mystique/Raven Darkholme = Connie Nielsen
Rogue = Anna Paquin
Avalanche = Alessandro Gassmann
Fred J Dukes/Blob = Vince Vaughan
Pyro = Hugh Jackman
Irene Adler/Destiny = Sally Field
Professor Charles Xavier = Patrick Stewart
Kevin Mactaggert/Proteus = Iain De Caestecker
Joseph Mactaggert = John Hannah
Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane = Bonnie Wright
Danielle Moonstar = Selena Gomez
Jubilee = Chloe Bennett
Everett Thomas/Synch = Christopher Massey
Douglas Ramsey/Cypher = Devon Bostick
With the third X-Men film Fall of the Mutants having split the X-Men up, and a combination of the Secret Wars duology, Excalibur and X-Factor films following events for the divided team, this fourth X-Men film is intended to reunite some of the scattered team into a new whole. It also gives Rogue her defection from the Brotherhood following the events of Ms Marvel. In this film, Moira Mactaggert’s son Proteus emerges as a dangerous mutant and begins a rampage across to Scotland. With Excalibur unavailable, X-Factor is summoned while the X-Men pursue Mystique’s Brotherhood to Scotland. The two teams meet up and reunite when they find Professor X is also with Moira, having been recuperating on Muir Island since being released from a SHIELD hospital (this is set-up over end-credit scenes for Fall of the Mutants and X-Factor).
Direction-wise, the X-Men have been handled initially by Jonathan Demme and then Jonathan Frakes in films bearing their team’s name, while Excalibur was helmed by Christopher Nolan and X-Factor by LeVar Burton. For this film, I’ve put Burton back in the director’s chair. Casting-wise, I imagine same fans will be perplexed by my choice of Chloe Bennett for Jubilee. This is because Bennett is of a mixed ancestry that includes having a Chinese mother, and while the ideal is always to try for exact representation from the comics, there aren’t many actresses active in Hollywood around the time of this film with even one parent of Chinese descent, let alone two.
As such, the question becomes which do you compromise; Jubilee’s racial background or her nationality? My choice, compromise slightly on racial background and bring in some plot threads relating to prejudice against people of mixed race. Quite honestly, characters of mixed race are among those groups under-represented in film and TV, so if I have to compromise, let me at least try and do so in a positive way.
Spider-Man 6 (2010) Directed by Matthew Vaughan
Peter Parker/Spider-Man = Wil Weaton
May Parker = Marg Helgenberger
J. Jonah Jameson = J.K. Simmons
Joseph "Robbie" Robertson = Denzel Washington
Betty Brant = Parker Posey
Ned Leeds = John Barrowman
Eddie Brock/Venom = Wentworth Miller
Randy Robertson = Taye Diggs
Mary-Jane Watson-Parker = Alison Hannigan
Flash Thompson = Ben Affleck
Felicia Hardy/The Black Cat = Elisha Cuthbert
Sha Shan Nguyen = Grace Park
Captain Jean DeWolff = Jessica Biel
Anne Weying = Michelle Williams
Principal Harrington = Viggo Mortensen
Lance Bannon = Hayden Christensen
Gloria "Glory" Grant = Candice Patton
In the sixth of our Spider-Man films, and the last to both start and end with Peter Parker wearing the webs, we showcase Peter and MJ preparing for their upcoming wedding, but the pair are stalked by Eddie Brock, who has now joined with the Venom symbiote and seeks to make Peter’s life hell. He attempts to manipulate the Black Cat into being his co-conspirator as well, preying on her jealousy after the symbiote-free Spider-Man resists her seduction. The story ultimately culminates in Venom trying to force Peter into a no-win situation where he has to choose who to save; Mary-Jane or Felicia. Matthew Vaughan returns to direct, and we get a few extra supporting cast members in lieu of the various villains of Spider-Man 5.
Ant-Man 2 (2010) Directed by Peyton Reed
Hank Pym/Ant-Man = Michael Douglas
Scott Lang/Ant-Man II = Paul Rudd
Maggie Lang = Judy Greer
Cassie Lang = Joey King
William Cross/Crossfire = Ethan Hawke
Taskmaster = Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Alex Gentry/Porcupine = Nick Offerman
Janice Lincoln/Beetle = Naya Rivera
Having left Ant-Man alone in terms of solo films since phase 1, phase 2 marks a return for Hank Pym, who by this point has been out of action since a mental break-down forced him to retire. Now of sound mind again, he tries to deal with tech thief Crossfire, who steals the prototype for a new, more aggressive variant of the Ant-Man suit, the Yellowjacket. However, Hank’s old suit is not safe to use as it clashes with his neuro-chemistry, risking more mental break-down. Even worse, it’s been stolen. In tracking down the Ant-Man suit, Hank encounters desperate divorced father Scott Lang, who stole the suit to get money to cover his daughter’s medical treatment.
With this film, the aim is to pass the mantle of Ant-Man to Scott Lang in a more comics-accurate manner, while at the same time preserving certain casting that the MCU got right, hence why Pym, Scott and Maggie are all retained from the real MCU. In terms of Cassie, I switched to Joey King as she’s had a remarkably steady record of employment for a non-Disney child actress, and I think she’s a great choice to take up this role for the remainder of this hypothetical MCU. Direction-wise, I figured it best to stick with the choices of the real MCU and go for Peyton Reed, having had to go with Sam Raimi on the 90’s-made first Ant-Man of this MCU.
Silver Surfer 2 (2011) Directed by JJ Abrams
Silver Surfer = David Wenham
Thanos = Josh Brolin
Mentor = Michael McKean
Eros/Starfox = Joel McHale
Gamora = Zoe Saldana
Drax the Destroyer = Dean Cain
Adam Warlock = Chris Pine
Pip the Troll = Peter Dinklage
Nebula = Emma Stone
Mar-Vell/Captain Marvel = Jude Law
Following the events of Defenders 2, the Silver Surfer finds himself drawn into yet more Infinity Stone adventures when Kree hero Captain Marvel and the android Drax the Destroyer come to Earth with Adam Warlock, keeper of the Soul Gem. Hot on their heels are Thanos and Nebula, each of whom has begun to seek the Infinity Stones. Worse still, Mar-Vell is dying of cancer. The film is meant to advance the Infinity Stones plot while also adapting the death of Mar-Vell from the comics, not to mention setting up for the Guardians of the Galaxy to appear in the next phase.
For direction, I’ve picked JJ Abrams based on his Star Trek and Star Wars work making him a decent choice for a space-based hero like the Silver Surfer. In terms of casting, we have a few reprises from past films in this 90’s MCU and from the real MCU. However, some shifts have also occurred, most notably with Drax due to wanting to use his original comics origins over the revised MCU/later comics version. The would-be autistic representation of Bautista and Gunn’s Drax quickly become so much farce, so as an autistic person, I’d just as soon avoid that and go down the android route, thanks very much.
Avengers vs X-Men (2011) Directed by Jonathan Frakes
Cyclops/Scott Summers = Patrick Swayze
Jean Grey = Milla Jovovich
Storm/Ororo Monroe = Halle Berry
Wolverine/Logan = Tom Cruise
Peter Rasputin/Colossus = Henry Cavill
Remi LeBeau/Gambit = Zachary Levi
Warren Worthington III/Archangel = Neil Patrick Harris
Rogue = Anna Paquin
Steve Rogers/Captain America = Brad Pitt
Thor = Dolph Lundgren
Janet Van Dyne/Wasp = Catherine Zeta Jones
Iron Man/Tony Stark = Tom Selleck
Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk = Lucy Lawless
T'Challa/Black Panther = Chadwick Boseman
Sam Wilson/Falcon = Will Smith
Peter Parker/Spider-Man = Wil Weaton
Professor Charles Xavier = Patrick Stewart
Carol Danvers = Melissa Joan Hart
Mystique/Raven Darkholme = Connie Nielsen
Avalanche = Alessandro Gassmann
Fred J Dukes/Blob = Vince Vaughan
Pyro = Hugh Jackman
Irene Adler/Destiny = Sally Field
Frank Bohannan/Crimson Commando = Harrison Ford
Louis Hamilton/Stonewall = James Brolin
Martin Fletcher/Super-Sabre = Peter Fonda
Dr Valerie Cooper = Malin Åkerman
Sebastian Gilbreti/Bastion = Bruce Greenwood
Congressman Rev. William Stryker = Eric Roberts
Forge = Jimmy Smits
There have been two occasions in Marvel comics where the X-Men and Avengers have been drawn into direct conflict, at least using multiple issues of a comic and to my knowledge. The first is the 1980’s mini-series X-Men versus Avengers, where the Avengers attempted to arrest Magneto to resume his trial before the world court, while the Soviet Super-Soldiers sought to arrest Magneto for his actions in X-Men #150. As Magneto was part of the X-Men at the time, this naturally put all three teams at odds with each other. The second occasion was the AvX storyline in which Cyclops, Emma Frost, Namor, Colossus and Magik became possessed by the Phoenix Force, something the Avengers tried to prevent and later combat.
While this film draws on the basic concept of both series, that something sets the Avengers and the X-Men at odds with each other, it’s not about arresting Magneto or issues with the Phoenix force. Instead, the issue is Rogue; her status as a mutant terrorist is used to convince the Avengers to apprehend the X-Men. This is bad timing, as the X-Men are working with Rogue to help restore the mind of Carol Danvers. The masterminds of the plot are rabid anti-mutant politician William Stryker and government advisor Sebastian, who in reality is a new form of sentinel in disguise. Luckily, government advisor and secret mutant Forge is suspicious of Bastion and convinces NSA director Dr Valerie Cooper to set up a contingency plan.
As a result, the film builds to a climax where, after the intervention of Spider-Man ends a major fight between the two teams, Bastion unleashes his prime sentinels. Enter Mystique’s expanded Brotherhood in their guise as community service government heroes Freedom Force, and the stage is set for a truly epic battle. Direction-wise, I opted for Jonathan Frakes to helm this entry, and while many actors are reprising roles from past films, everyone from Crimson Commando on down is new to the MCU as of this film.
Ghost Rider 3 (2011) Directed by Mark Steven Johnson
Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider = Connor Trinneer
Roxanne Simpson = Jessica Alba
Eric Brooks/Blade = Jamie Foxx
Rachel Van Helsing = Cote De Pablo
Daimon Hellstrom = James Van Der Beek
Vlad Tepish/Dracula = Mads Mikkelsen
Lilith = Felicity Jones
Mephistopheles = Jeffery Combs
Phase 5 of our 90’s MCU closes out by bringing Johnny Blaze’s time as Ghost Rider to its conclusion, in a story where Johnny teams up with Blade, Rachel Van Helsing and Daimon Hellstrom against Dracula and his daughter Lilith, who are secretly in league with Mephistopheles. The film is partly an original plot and partly an adaptation of the end of the original Ghost Rider run of comics, though it’s far from being the last Ghost Rider film of this MCU. Just as the comics would have others take up the Ghost Rider curse after Blaze, so too will this MCU move onto those later riders in turn. Having used Tim Burton on the first two Ghost Rider films in this MCU, I’ve picked Mark Steven Johnson who handled the 2007 Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider film to take on this third instalment of 90’s MCU Ghost Rider.
This wraps up our look into phase 5 of this 90’s-based MCU; next month, we’ll cover phase 5 of our alternate DC movie universe. Until then, ta-ta for now.

Kiki my darling dear can you please explain to me the premise of. Whatever the fruity men with wild ass names is because I am going insane /silly lighthearted.
The premise of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?
Oh boy
The explanation is going under this cut because of how long winded this will be
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an anime series focused on a family, and their bizarre adventures, shocker. There are 9 parts, each focusing on a different member of the family, all of whom can be referred to by the nickname of JoJo. Part 9, JoJolands, has very recently just released its first chapter.
JoJo is welll known for being over the top, especially in the anime with the constant colour palette changes, ridiculous character designs and poses. And yeah, it does end up being extremely gay. This is evident in the often homoerotic dynamics the JoJo has with their "JoBro"
There's also a LOT of musical references, especially with Part 4 onwards.
Parts 1-6 follow one universe, with part 6 being reset by its main villain, causing a new universe. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, this new reset universe is not parts 7-9. They are 2 separate stories about two separate Joestar families. The first 6 parts are this:
Part 1, Phantom Blood, is Jonathan Joestar, a young man in early 1900s England, who is the adopted brother of Dio Brando. Dio is evil as shit as a child, seemingly mellows out, until the pair of them are both about 19 or so, when it's revealed that Dio is still a power and money hungry little shit. He turns into a vampire and the part then becomes about killing him.
Part 2, Battle Tendency, is Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's 19 year old Looney Toon character (not even a joke, he deadass quotes Looney Toons) grandson, and starts in 1940s America before moving to Italy. He and his friend/JoBro Caesar Zeppeli are tasked with having to fight ancient Aztec Gods, the Pillar Men (yes, really).
Part 3, Stardust Crusaders, is Jotaro Kujo, Joseph's 17 year old deliquent grandson, as he, Joseph, Noriaki Kakyoin (the JoBro!), Jean Pierre Polnareff and Muhammed Avdol go on a 50 day cross contiental trip to Egypt to fight Dio in the late 80s. Yes, the same Dio. He's a vampire, ya know?
Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, is Josuke Higashikata (the kanji for the suke in his name can also be read as jo), Joseph's illegtimate 16 year old son in the summer of 1999 in Japan. He and his friends track down their local town serial killer, Yoshikage Kira, 33 years old, lives in the North East section where all the villas are-
Part 5, Vento Aureo, is Giorno Giovanna (Yes it's pronounced JoJo), the illegtimate son of Dio and Jonathan Joestar (it's GENUINELY not what it sounds like.) in 2001 Italy. He and his band of friends all named after Italian foods go on an adventure to kill the leader of the Italian mafia, Diavolo/Doppio Vinegar, in order to stop drugs being sold to kids.
Part 6, Stone Ocean, is Jolyne Kujo, the 19 year old deliquent daughter of Jotaro, and takes place in 2011 Florida. She and her friends break out of prison, save Jotaro and stop Pucci, a priest and follower of Dio, YES THIS GUY AGAIN, from resetting the world.
Those are the first 6 parts, and the first 6 JoJos. We then leave this universe, and join a completely new one. Important side note: Stands are only introduce in Part 3, with Parts 1-2 having this type of magical breathing named Hamon!
Part 7, Steel Ball Run, is Johnny Joestar, who is this universe's Jonathan, in 1890s USA. In order to regain mobility, he partners up with JoBro Gyro Zeppeli in order to win the Steel Ball Run horse race to learn the Spin and collect the corpse parts of Jesus Christ. He ends up having to kill the US President, Funny Valentine.
Part 8, JoJolion, is Josuke Higashikata, nicknamed Gappy, who is clearly this universe's Josuke in 2011 Japan. I never read JoJolion, so I'm not too familiar with the plot, but I do know that Gappy is actually two men. Like. He's a Steven Universe fusion of Yoshikage Kira and Josefumi Kujo. I'm not shitting you.
And now, we have the newly released Part 9, JoJolion! This is 15 year old Jodio Joestar, and we don't know much of the plot yet due to us having only one chapter. He seems to be this universe's Giorno, but maybe not a son of Diego Brando was ran over by a train. Apparently, it's the story of how he got rich. Right now, he's a drug dealer who was born in New Jersey and now lives in Hawaii in the present day with his sister (IDON'TCAREWHATARAKISAYSSHEISATRANSWOMAN) Dragona Joestar and his mother.
Something interesting to note is that the 7-9 JoJos are very much unlike their counterparts. Jonathan is a gentlemen, Johnny is a pretty selfish cold blooded killer. Josuke is a sweet kid, Gappy kills without remorse. Giorno resents drug dealers, Jodio is one.
So that's the premise for each part! I could go even more indepth, but I think this gets the point across. JoJo's premise is that it's a bunch of bizarre stories 2 families go through.
Anyways, part 3 is my favourite and my favourite character is Kakyoin ^-^ but my favourite JoJo is Johnny
#YOU ASKED FOR IT#winterly!!!#505 radio#also fun fact!#kika is my actual nickname#but i thought it'd be too hard to say right for english speakers#and i was inspired by jojo to anglicise it to kiki!#jjba
