"The Bride & The Bunny" is a comic centered around a young girl named Winnifred Zamora, who runs away from her home-village and family, both of which exist in a ramshackle state as of late after she begins experiencing strange visions and a physical transformation in the likeness of her late eldest sister, Josefina. The comic is set in the time frame of the 1910s, around the time of the Mexican revolutionary war, and eventually transitions into the 1920s as Winnifred matures and finds the answers to her questions about her family and own self.
