It was a beautiful night, the rains pour over the town. Peoples already snuggle on their bed with a warm blanket. But not with Seonghwa. 

The boy is lying on the grass. He didn’t have a house to keep warm.

Seonghwa opened his eye. “it’s so cold” he murmurs

Seonghwa looked up to the sky, he realized the moon is not there tonight. “Why you left me alone this time?” He asked to the sky. 

Then the lightning storms, it make him flinch. He hated lightning since he’s a child. But now he’s 17 and he had nowhere to run.

He could feel his stomach growling. He hasn’t eat for a while, maybe for three days? He already lost his count.

Seonghwa sigh, how could the world become so cruel to a boy like him?

“I’m tired“ He said again. He tried to get up, but he can’t. He couldn’t even feel his legs or any of his body.

He sigh and try to keep awake. He couldn’t sleep like this. It reminds him of that sleepless night he always had after he ran away from the orphanage. He think it’s the best choice after knew people in there was not generous to him at all.

He sighed it already been years since that but why he hadn’t move on since that.

Born without parent. Live in a place full of screaming and yelling. And finally end here, in the middle of a city that never loves him. He usually got spit, got hit, kick and lots more. Sometimes he couldn’t even stand or he try to fight but he always ended up with new bruises.

He looked at the sky. “why do you hate me this much?” he ask

The water from the wind already soaked his clothes. When he’s a kid he always hated being wet, but now he can’t do anything about it. He felt so cold and tired. But he can’t do anything

“Hey?“ A sound was heard

Seonghwa try to lift his head and saw a boy. The boy was using an umbrella and looking at him. 

He didn’t answer, he knew maybe he’ll get hit by him. Or maybe the boy just came with his dirty mouth asking him to die. So he closed his eyes for a while. But in reality there’s no movement from him.

“Hey“ He said again. Seonghwa opened his eyes he could see the boy is bending beside him.

“You’re that Seonghwa boy right?“ The boy asks

Seonghwa just looked at the boys eyes. The boys looked different somehow. He could see his black hair under his grey hat. He also had a pretty face. With a beautiful smile that Seonghwa wants to see for his entire life. The boy was basicly the analogy of perfect.

“I’m here to help you !“ The boy said happily

The boy suddenly held his hand with a smile. “I hope you don’t mind if we’re holding hands” He says

Seonghwa looked at the boy, puzzled.

The boy who seemed realize it just smile, “Trust me Seonghwa I promise you’ll like it !”

At first he hesitate, but then with a few power left he took his hand out. Amazingly he didn’t even feel exhausted at all when he did that.

When their hand was finally came in touch. The boy smiled again, this time with a playfully smile. “now close your eyes, I guarentee you’ll like my surprise!”

Seonghwa just follow it and the next thing he knew was just too magical. Out of nowhere he could feel a swift of wind came. He could feel the rain was gone and he’s standing on his feet. And then the wind became more strong that make them like they’re flying.

“Seonghwa you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen“ The boy says

Seonghwa could feel his face as hot as his first fire that almost killed him when he’s 10. Seonghwa just laughed, which is a thing that he never did after a few years.

“wow even you’re laugh is so precious“ The boy said while slowly interwined their hands together. “You didn’t scared of the height right?“

height? Seonghwa peeked though his closed eyes. It seems the boy realize it, “just open it hwa, it’s okay”

Seonghwa finally open his eyes. He could see beautiful sight of the city. The lights from houses was so beautiful from up there. Seonghwa may not realize but a smile already engraved on his face. 

Hongjoong just smile and tighten their hand. “you like it?” he whisper

“of course !“ Seonghwa still looking down. Looking at the view that was so incredible.

“Then I hope you love where we’re going now” Hongjoong smile and keep looking at Seonghwa. The boy finally look at him, and could feel something in his stomach that feel so weird. “where we’re going?”

In swift of wind Hongjoong pull Seonghwa to him. He circled his hand around Seonghwa’s tiny waist. His face was just inches apart. Seonghwa could feel his cheeks is so hot, but he can’t focus on that because of the boy in front of him. Hongjoong in other hand is looking Seonghwa straight to his eye.

“close you’re eyes and trust me. We’ll be there in no time“

Seonghwa gently close his eyes. And could feel wind strongly push them (again) to the sky. Seonghwa could feel Hongjoong tighten his hand towards him. He could feel his heart beat twice faster. Hongjoong who knew about it just make soft giggles.

Aftter few seconds, the wind stops. “Open your eyes hwa” the shorter said

Seonghwa opened his eyes. He could see a beautiful island underneath them. He could see a pristine of water. The white of the sand make he want to play in the beaches. 

“You like it?“ Hongjoong ask

Seonghwa keep looking at the island. “I... love it”

“I love it joong!“ He said “Thank you...” 

“Thank you so much“ He mumbled

Hongjoong smile and putting his hand on Seonghwa’s chin. “Hey don’t sweat it... now you’ll never be lonely anymore. I’m here for you“

Seonghwa look into his eye, he could feel Hongjoong said that with all of his kindness. “You sure?”

Hongjoong smile and pull him to a warm hug “Welcome home Park Seonghwa”
