The bar is HEX because the drinks are based on potions that include medicinal herbs. These drinks are pretty, strong, and magical.

Fantastic to see Earth being pursued! Out at the end of the year

BRUTALLY HONEST GMMTV 2024 PART 2 RATINGS, BASED ON HOW EXCITED I AM FOR IT (only the ones I might watch):

Osan's Love -- 7/10, I know this is a remake, but truthfully I haven't watched the original. Therefore, this is solely based off of the trailer. I love EarthMix, but ngl I was hoping for a more advanced and mature theme for them, they absolutely DEVOURED in Moonlight Chicken. I'm also not a fan of love triangles so yeah, that also played a factor in my rating. The overall plot seems okay, it seems like a silly light show.

Leap Day -- 9/10, OKAY POND AND WIN, I am so excited to see Pond's acting in this, and I already know Win is going to kill it. The overall plot seems so interesting, I am intrigued. There's mystery, thriller, action vibes and I'm here for it. ALSO GUN??? His character seems so interesting, and I just know his acting is going to be A1!! It's reminding me of when he acted in The Gifted, which I absolutely loved. I don't know the girl actress, but her acting all seems excellent! Anyways, super excited to see how this one goes.

Heart Killers -- 9.2/10, FIRSTKHAO + MAFIA???? We all cheered, Jojo the director you are, always hearing what the fans want. They're giving me Yok and Ayan vibes, and I absolutely here for it. Joong and Dunk's series were usually not my favorite, but I'm so glad they FINALLY moved on from the college campus stories. 😭 The trailer is enticing, I feel like all four of them are going to eat up this concept, it is just so good.

Perfect 10 Liners -- 7.5/10, The cast is super good, I love all of the couples. The trailer kind of makes the plot look basic and boring ngl. Out of the three couples, surprisingly I find PerthChimon's characters to be the most interesting. I'm hoping that the show is more interesting than the trailer is making it. Just like EarthMix, I was hoping ForceBook showed a mature character, especially since we just got that in OF. Then again, this is giving me ABAB which is not awful. I was also looking forward to JuniorMark after Cherry Magic, so I hope they do amazing.

Hide & Sis -- 7.5/10, I can't really explain this one. I think the plot is interesting, it's giving me murder mystery which is drawing me in. However, I hope the show gives us more than the trailer because the trailer was kind of mediocre. I am super excited for my girly Lookjun to be in this, hopefully she kills it (ha ha, pun intended).

Thame Po -- 7/10, I don't know how I feel about this one. I think it's cool that they're using the members of LYKN, and I recognize one of the members for being another drama but the overall plot seems kind of basic? I don't know, I'm not sure if I will watch this one.

Break Up Service -- 5.5/10, this one just doesn't seem interesting to me, I'M SORRY. I wish Off was in another series that really showed off his talent (Preferably something like the masterpiece that Not Me is). This is giving me the same vibes as "Catch me Baby" with NetJames, and it just doesn't reel me in like the rest of the series.

Revamp -- 7.8/10, BOUNPREM AND SANTA JOINING GMMTV AND GETTING A SERIES RIGHT AWAY??? I am a sucker for vampires so this was already pulling me in, but I do hope that they don't go with a basic vampire story and add some extra elements. I feel like because vampire stories have been done before, it will take a lot to impress me, but I have high hopes. I also hope that BounPrem get to show their talent, because ngl Between Us was not doing it for me. Excited to see Mark in something a little more mature than Cherry Magic and Perfect 10 Liners.

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist -- 7.5/10, Everyone expected MarkOhm to get a series, and I'm glad they both seem so happy. (I haven't watched Last Twilight so idk how their chemistry is, so I'm excited to see it). The plot of the show seems lighthearted and cute, but it also seemed a little basic? There was nothing that was making me want this series to come out quicker. Excited to see how the show goes though!

The Dark Dice -- 8/10, I'm so excited to see Gemini and Prim's acting!! The plot being centered around being trapped in a board game is so interesting!!! Pr*m (idk how to feel about him) looks like he is going to be a good villain, and the other girl seems like a good actress too. I'm excited to see how they pull off this genre!!

The EX-morning -- 6/10, everyone is freaking out about KristSingho (I don't really know about them, all I know is that they are returning after a long time) but the overall plot seemed boring imo. Idk maybe it will be more interesting after the first episode, I don't mind giving it a try. I do like second chance romances, so that element of the plot is interesting.

Scarlet Heart -- 10/10, I know that we got absolutely NOTHING in the trailer but the genre and cast? This cast with this genre is *chef's kiss*! TU THE WOMEN YOU ARE, She is finally back. Win, Nanon, Phuwin, Fourth, Force!!! I'm super excited to not only see a mini F4 reunion, but also to see how Fourth acts in this. I know this show a remake, but I haven't read the book, watched the chinese drama, or the Korean one; I'm going in completely blind (other than the fact that it's heartbreaking? I'm not going to focus on that, for my mental health LOL). I can't wait to see how this goes. I also think that the trailer showing us absolutely nothing, is a hightale sign that we're about to get a masterpiece.

And before you guys say "What about _______" blah blah, I was not interested in the others. I don't usually watch GLs and the other drama just didn't speak to me, and I don't think i'll watch it.

Also about the people who are sad that Gemini and Fourth have separate series, I think this is good for them! They can grow as actors and then come back together. I feel like romance/ couple dramas limit how much they can expand their experience tbh. Same goes with Pond and Phuwin, I'm glad they have their own dramas.

the untitled joongdunk vampire fic

[rpf] vampire hunter joong/vampire dunk, ft turning with homoerotic biting (????) i wrote this at 4am yesterday ok enjoy everyone. 930 words.

He's not sure how he got into this situation.

The moon shines brightly in the dark night sky, and vampire hunter Joong Archen Aydin is being pinned to a tree in the middle of a vast forest.

The man (if he can even be considered that, his pale skin unnaturally cold to the touch) pinning joong to the wall is none other than one of the very beings Joong has spent his life hunting.

Joong recognises the vampire as Dunk Natachai Boonprasert, one of the few that have managed to evade every hunter in the area for years. He seems to stay just long enough to tease whatever poor soul that runs into him, before disappearing into the night.

It's a miracle anyone knows what he looks like at all, given his tendancy to vanish into thin air or simply drain whoever spots him and leave them out to die.

So Joong isn't very sure how he ended up with the elusive Dunk holding him against a tree by his wrists in the middle of who knows where, Dunk's red eyes filled with a little more than just hunger. He's also not sure why he feels no compulsion to reach for the weapons in his pockets.

"You're cute."

Dunk's voice is softer than Joong had expected. he grins as he takes in Joong's confusion, revealing the sharp fangs that have claimed the lives of dozens. Suddenly, Joong is reminded that this is probably where he dies. Just like the rest of his family, it seems his life will end at the hands (or fangs) of a vampire.

He hopes Phuwin won't miss him too badly.

"Just kill me already," he snarls as he tries to free his wrists from Dunk's ironclad grip. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't work. Dunk moves to take both of Joong's wrists in one hand, his free hand wandering up Joong's chest, eventually reaching his neck.

If he wasn't very much about to die, Joong might just be into it.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you. I want you for myself, Joong."

The list of things Joong can't figure out is growing. He has no time to think about why Dunk would know his name, however. Dunk is leaning in, and Joong can feel his warm breath on his neck.

Suddenly, it dawns on him. Dunk isn't going to kill him, he's going to do something much worse. Joong has been fortunate enough that no vampire has tried to turn him during his lifetime, but it seems his luck has run out. He usually carries a bottle of vampire antivenom just in case, but that bottle is in the small hunting case that Dunk tossed to the side what feels like an eternity ago.

Joong's breath hitches as Dunk's lips meet his neck, right above where Joong knows his jugular vein is. It feels almost like a tender kiss, instead of the prelude to his transformation into a monster the Joong from a day ago would not have hesitated before killing. 

His heart races, cold sweat forming on his forehead, yet an inexplicable warmth fills his chest. He's never been so.... intimate, with anyone. He'd never bothered with relationships beyond the platonic level, always too busy planning out his next hunt.

He wonders if Dunk is similar in that way, too. It must be lonely living as a vampire.

Without warning, Dunk's fangs sink into Joong's flesh. The sudden pain causes Joong to grip Dunk even tighter (when did his wrists get freed?) and Dunk in response gently strokes the other side of his neck, as if trying to soothe him. Joong feels something warm seeping through his veins, so different from the cold sensation of being drank from. He barely feels Dunk licking where he bit him, numbing the pain as his head starts to cloud.

The venom flows through his body, and he feels something shift within him as it starts to take effect. His senses already feel slightly heightened, Dunk's face seeming clearer in the dark. A slight pain in his upper jaw tells him his upper canines will start to resemble fangs in a couple of hours. He's read about the physical changes in books but nothing prepared him for the sheer hunger he felt.

The only thing cutting through the fog in his head was the urge to bite. To sink his teeth into something, dead or alive, to taste metal on his tongue. Unable to think clearly, Joong lunges forward and his teeth find their way into the cold flesh of Dunk's neck.

Vampire blood doesn't taste that good. It's slightly bitter, not at all like the sweet, metallic human blood he craves. Yet he doesn't stop licking at the wound, savouring his first (clumsy) attempt to feed. Throughout it all, he feels Dunk's hand at the back of his head, encouraging him.

An unknown amount of time later, he finally feels the fog starting to clear. The reality of his situation starts to sink in. He's no longer a human being, and in a few years it's likely one of the very people he's been working alongside will come to drive a stake into his heart. He briefly wonders if when the day comes, he'll make the decision to turn a friend as a form of mercy.

Exhausted, he collapses into Dunk's arms. He has nowhere else to go, but it seems like Dunk wants to keep him, whatever that would mean. For better or for worse, Joong gets the feeling they'll be together for a long, long time.

gmmtv 2024 part 2 roster, in approximate order of how excited i am about them:

The Heart Killers: YES. soooooo good for me. silly romcom mafia shakespeare plot! dressing everyone up in little outfits! enemies-to-lovers standoff to makeout! love that it's 90s teen movie shakespeare but with more murder. love that this time first and dunk are the ones pursuing khao and joong. delighted p'jojo is directing, he knows exactly what he's doing and he's right for it.

The Ex-Morning: being halfway through watching SOTUS for the first time is an extremely funny time to watch the kristsingto rpf-lite comeback special trailer. it looks good! i love the concept of exes-to-collaborators-to-lovers even before you add in the rpf parallels of it all. p'aof generally does really solid shows and i have no reason to think this won't live up to expectations.

Friendshit Forever: title so stupid it wraps back around into being genius. looks toxic and fun. i will say that if gmmtv wants to yuribait me this hard in the trailer i hope they at least have the decency to yuribait me in the show as well. (real story: when i downloaded the trailers to rewatch i initially ended up with the subtitles from 'Us' playing over the scene where mook and pat meet and for a beautiful moment i lived in a world where there were two gl shows on the 2025 roster.)

Us: the trailer doesn’t give me a great sense for what the actual, uh, plot is. i do appreciate that they found an excuse to have them kiss shirtless in the trailer. the nominal cyrano-esque plot (plus the trite “can two women love one another”) doesn’t feel that interesting but i presume the actual show will have more to it than just that. please i just need a gl that’s well-executed and not about high schoolers (patiently waiting for Pluto….)

Ossan's Love: looks extremely cringe, but….in a charming way? maybe? going to watch regardless because it's earthmix, may go watch the original to get a better idea of what the hell the vibe is supposed to be.

Hide & Sis: feels like it could be campy and fun or could be just bad, but optimistic that it’s the former.

The Dark Dice: okay, so it’s…..jumanji crossed with an escape room crossed with squid game for teenagers? sure i can get behind that. the trailer looked pretty good for being (i assume) relatively low-budget and low-effort.

Revamp: The Undead Story: looks a little silly but very likely in a fun way. (why are there so many vampire shows this year? was there something in the water?)

Thame-Po: okay, so this is a show about a boyband…..where the members are played by gmmtv’s actual boyband? this feels like another instance of rpf lite but less in a fun way and more in a way where i’m a little concerned for these teenagers about fan engagement bleedover. but it did look cute and there are opportunities to go a little meta about the whole thing.

Leap Day: intrigued to watch gun in a role where he actually has things to do

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist: i think ohm and mark have really fun energy and i badly wanted to like their show, but it looks. SO bad. will watch at least an episode and hope it's better than the trailer made it look but good god.

Break-Up Service: another one that....could be fun or bad, but probably just bad.

Scarlet Heart: was that a trailer or a perfume ad? i guess this is an adaptation and we're supposed to be familiar with the original, slash they didn't have time to film an actual trailer before the event? isekai time travel could be fun in theory but the reverse harem thing does not entice me. pass.

Perfect 10 Liners: you know the bit in Lovely Writer where the show-within-a-show is Bad Engineer, and it's funny because it could literally be any BL that takes place in a university engineering faculty? Lovely Writer is three years old now and we're just still doing this apparently. why are there thirty episodes? did they just decide to toss all the pairs they didn't have a better idea for into the most generic setting possible and cross their fingers? hard pass.

MilkLove🙂 with Dunk and Love as adorable siblings 😃you have the best ideas. And the fact that at least GMMTV has executed part of your dreams already, I have hope that our vampire au will happen. If we can't manifest it, we can trust that Joong will make it happen. Gotta love that man for being so relatable. We all love a star that has 'a guy next door' vibe.

I'm not super into vampires either but I'm with you on how the concept would suit jd. They always look that way when they wear dark clothes, especially suits and trench coats. Dunk has the pale skin, rosy lips, lithe frame and sophistication; Joong has the black clothes for it(dude always in black) passion, wildness, grit and besotted look on his face🙂 Together they have the power couple of a thousand years love vibe🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

All I can say is if you don't manifest this into existence, Joong will😁 he did an entire fanfic about it for goodness' sake. Someone please make this vamp au happen. I’m very much in the gmmtv should split all their ships camp but joongdunk are an exception as well for me. They have such a fun dynamic with each other even in the bts and interviews that it would sadden me to see them separated. I’d also worry for their productivity, even Tee said for Hidden Agenda whenever they were apart they’d start sulking 😂

right!!!!! i actually rewatched the hidden agenda special ep where tee talked about that only a few days ago. them being sulky when they can't work together is just so cute and wholesome!! and you know what?? relatable djfkgjkfdgd (my best friend and went to this summer camp for like a decade, first as participants and then as leaders. and back as participants we spent 4 out of 5 years sitting at the same table at every single meal and usually right next to each other, even. then when we became leaders we had to split up, bc every table was required to have at least one leader. idk about her, but i was definitely sulky that we couldn't sit at the same table for the 4 years we were leaders. and towards the end of the camp, the more tired we got the more we ended up sitting at the same table anyway lmao. and again, idk about her but even the other activities and tasks that we had to do were always more fun when i was allowed to work with her. so. i absolutely 1000000000% get the boys)

that being said, me personally? i wouldn't necessarily be sad for them if they don't get to work together. they're grown-ass men and they are perfectly capable to function without the other. and they can always hang out and talk outside of work (if dunk picks up his phone when joong calls or joong manages to get dunk out of the house, that is kjdfkjdfgk)

will i be absolutely stoked if they get another series together? hell yeah!!!!!! (dark sexy vampire fantasy bl for joongdunk when???????)

but not gonna lie, purely from an acting standpoint i'd actually love to see them work separately at some point. especially dunk. he works extremely well with joong and i'm super curious if he manages some of the things i've come to adore about his acting when it's with someone else (whether it's another male co-star or someone of another gender)

not just that, another reason why i want to see them act with other people is because different acting partners can bring out different things with you because you'll have a different dynamic, a different way or working and interacting with all of them. and that can also help you grow as an actor, because you can take away something different from every partner you work with. and that is something that i would want for them, also

(plus, i wouldn't want them to get bored of doing series together. absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that, you know? i think it'll be more exciting for them if they do go off to work on separate projects and reunite every once in a while. i wouldn't want their joint projects to become like... a habit, i guess. i'm not sure how to phrase what i'm trying to say)

so either way, whether they'll get a series together or work on separate projects, i'll be satisfied. as long as i get to see both of them on my screen next year in some way (preferably as a lead)
