AN: I just boshed this one out, sorry it’s a bit shit lol

3 weeks. 3 weeks since he’d broken up with her and he didn’t feel a thing. It was hard, but she knew it was the right way to go.

There were no hard feelings when he said it. “I think it’s time we go our separate ways,” He confronted you on that memorable Thursday evening, “Face it Y/N, we don’t love each other anymore.” She agreed to him and that was it. 

It was late when Conor heard a knock on his apartment door. He was confused; only Jack knew the keycode for the building, and he knew that his brother definitely loved his beauty sleep. 

However, curiosity got the best of him, and he went to open the door. As he opened it, he couldn’t hide the surprise that was displayed on his face.

“Y/N?”

“Hi Conor.” Y/N addressed him.

“What are you doing here?” 

Conor watched the girl sigh, “Con, I need you back in my life. I can’t think straight without you, conor! Please, I need you.” 

He stared at Y/N blankly for a few seconds and said, “Y/N, I can’t love you anymore. I don’t love you anymore. Sorry. It just isn’t like what it used to be.”

Y/N looked at him exasperatedly. “Conor...please don’t go. I love you! I need you!

Conor somewhat felt sorry for Y/N, but he just couldn’t have a relationship with someone he didn’t love. It was the best, he knew, for them both.

“Sorry Y/N...I’ve moved on, and so should you.” And he reluctantly closed the door in her face.

When he heard her footsteps fading away, he knew he’d truly fucked up. He didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but he knew he had. And he’d hurt his too. 

He leaned back against the door and slid down it, as he felt a tear trickle down his cheek.

Maybe, just maybe, he did love her like he used to.

Awkward | Jack Maynard

AN: Hi so this if for the anon that requested this, I’m not really that proud of it, but I just wanted to write something and also to check if you guys want more? So here we go

Storyline: You’re just a little bit awkward.

It had been 2 months since Y/N and Jack started dating, and so far it was great. Jack would treat Y/N like a princess, giving her lazy morning kisses and flowers if they ever got into a fight the next day. It really hadn’t been that long, but Y/N was enjoying every second of it. 

The way they had met was almost horribly cliche. Both at a coffee shop and Jack had accidentally bumped into Y/N, making her drink spill all over her. He offered to buy her a new one, they sat together, bla bla bla. There was some minor flirting, and by the end of it, Jack had ended up with the girls phone number and a date to meet again. They basically hit it off from there. 

Jack and Y/N had yet to tell the boys about their relationship. Hell, the boys didn’t even know who Y/N was. The couple hadn’t exactly planned anything, they hadn’t even thought about revealing themselves. At the moment, they were just enjoying the moment as in unraveled before them. They weren’t complaining. 

Y/N was a shy person. She found it hard to socialise with new people. Jack just liked this, he thought it was cute, especially when she would just bury her head into his shoulder after she got embarrased about something, or when Jack complimented her - she could never take compliments - and he would just laugh softly and kiss her forehead and rub her back, breathing in the scent of her hair, which Y/N always found comforting.

“What are we having for dinner tonight?” Jack asked Y/N one day as they cuddled on the sofa, just relaxing on a saturday afternoon, Y/N claiming that she just needed to collapse for a day after a week of stressful meetings at work, deciding that a movie marathon was necessary when she stepped into Jack’s apartment.

“I don’t know. I’m not cooking though.” Y/N replied. 

Jack sighed and nuzzled into her arm a bit more.“Takeaway?”

“Sure.”

Jack was unaware, but at this precise moment in time, Conor and Joe were in the lift up to Jack’s apartment, thinking they could just pop in for a while, wanting to catch up with their friend who they hadn't seen in a couple of weeks. Which for them, was a lot. Jack had recently been turning down invites to go to the club with his friends, simply wanting to spend more time with his girlfriend. 

Although, no one knew about that, and it wasn't like jack to not go out all of a sudden.

Y/N and Jack had found themselves kissing when the boys walked in. It all happened a little too quickly for the couple’s liking. 

They had just pulled away when Y/N found herself staring over at the two boys, then realising they had just kissed in front of what she assumed were her boyfriend’s friends.

Jack noticed this when he heard the sound of Conor bursting out into laughter, and turned around to see his friends, and simply pulled Y/N into his side. 

“You never told me you were coming!”

“You never told us you had a girlfriend!” Joe laughed. 

“Good point.”Jack turned around to face his lover, and said,

“I should probably introduce you.”

Y/N simply nodded, blushing hard. Her face felt like an oven at that point. 

Jack cleared his throat, and said, “Boys, this is my girlfriend, Y/N. Y/N, These are my friends.”

Needless to say, they got along in the end.

I'm fucking sad

Ok, so I guess I just want to say that that season 8 of vld was, to me, amazing. I understand why a lot of people are having mixed feelings or are upset, but to me, it was pretty much everything I had hoped for. It made me feel so many emotions and it made me feel exactly how I'd hoped it would. I wasnt angry, or upset in the end, I was mostly sad that it was over, pretty much for good. I cried a lot I wont lie, knowing that the universe doesnt need voltron anymore really hit me hard. But, that being said, i was also so so so happy about the paladins stories in the end. This show meant so much to me and I know it might seem silly to some, but I will honestly miss Voltron and the paladins so much. Yes, this last season had some holes and not great writing at times, I will admit that. However, I'm going to choose to look at all the things I loved about it, and there were a lot.

It's been an honor to fly with you all.

On to the next adventure.
