corruption kink with jongwoo??? - 🫐 (i hope you know its the same person sending all these jongwoo reqs LMAO)
he first like the charm of yours where you always were blissfully unaware that he had been thirsting over you despite being friends with you for a long time.
you were so innocent that you didn’t even notice how jongwoo’s hand was inching further up your cunt. at first, his hand was placed on your knee until it moved further up as you conversed with him.
“—woo-yah?” you meek, eyes watching as jongwo shuffled in his seat, now facing your side as he reached up underneath your skirt to touch your panties that were slowly dampening under his touch.
“just let me touch, hmm?” jongwoo mutters as he took off your panties in one swipe before he made you sit on his lap, legs spread over his knees as he touched your cunt slowly.
“woo-yah, f-feels weird..” you pant despite your pussy slightly clench around the tips of jongwoo’s fingers as they went further down your pussy and towards your hole.
you could feel jongwoo shake his head from behind you, his tongue clicks before he spoke, “no hun, it feels good.” he says, convincing you that it does when a finger slips right into your pussy, making your walls contract around them.
jongwoo smiles when you start moaning, begging him to go faster and harder. he complies, pushing his fingers into you in a faster pace as he curled them up inside of you, poking right at your gummy spot.

When you have a stan account dedicated to them
Jiwoong, Keita,Jongwoo,Taerae, Wumuti
Genre: fluff, but a little bit sad on some parts :((
Requested: How about Jongwoo, Jiwoong, Taerae, Keita (and anyone you want to add) reacting to you having a stan twitter account dedicated to them lol? (Anonymous)
Author's note: I think I didn't specify it as a twitter account in some of them,so I hope you're fine with it anon. I added Wumuti because I'm this close to create an account for him I'm not even joking, although it is a little bit sad so beware of it. Hope you like it :)) (Might be a little bit long haha I got carried away 😛)
°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□°□
The boys know that you've been supporting them for sure watching boys planet and that you've been rooting for them however, they didn't expect you to take your supporting that far.
Jiwoong
☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
After days and hours of practice and hard work Jiwoong was able to take a breath as the dual position battle had finished. He felt so proud of being able to go to Mcountdown with his team at last, his efforts paying off.
He called you immediately excited to let you know about his week. You picked up really confused to his sudden call, but smiling about his happiness.
You asked him if you could spend a little time with him and go celebrate it to a nearby restaurant, you offering to treat him to which he accepted with a smile on his face, making him look like an idiot talking to his phone.
While waiting for you to arrive he decided to search his name on Twitter to see all the support he had been receiving from his fans. He looked at each one of the posts with such detail and care, as he though of how everyone had dedicated him time, so he opted for doing exactly the same.
While looking carefully at all the letters, messages and pictures, one particular post stood out to him, it was a picture with a short but sweet message attached to it:
-Not only my boy is an awesome actor but he's a really talented rapper, singer and dancer so please vote for him. Jiwoong hwaiting!!!
He found it so endearing and flattering how he was surrounded by amazing people who were willing to make him debut, however what caught his attention was the photo that followed the message.
He found it oddly familiar for some reason but couldn't figure out why, until he finally remembered, that was a photo he hadn't published in his social media, that was indeed a photo he had only sent to you to cheer you up on your exams.
His thoughts were interrupted by you calling his name from afar.
"Jiwoong"you called waving your hand at him.
He smiled fondly and reunited with you to go eat together, interlacing your hands in the process.
"How you doing, baby?"he asked you
"I should be asking you that you winner!"you responded giggling and expecting him to answer.
"Well, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions"
"Oh, I could definitely tell"
You guys continued with your conversation as you were eating, and when you were asking for dessert he confronted you about the post he found suspiciously similar to all you were telling him throughout the lunch, throwing him lots of compliments and sweet words.
Does the account Jiwoong's number one supporter sounds familiar to you?"he asked naturally.
You were taken aback for a moment right there, until you laughed awkwardly saying: "ha.ha.ha no, I don't know what that is"
"Well, that's funny cause I've only sent this photo to you" he said laughing it off and smiling cutely.
*Oh, I forgot about that*you thought to yourself.
He watched as the smiled was washed off from your face, realisation hitting you like a truck.
He awaited for a response as you finally buried your face in your hands, accepting defeat.
"So it really was you" he smiled dedicating you a look were he expressed all his admiration for you while taking your hands in his. "No need to be embarrassed about it love, I find it really cute"
You looked back at him and laughed softly at his antics: "Well it's not like I've told any lies there" you responded.
This only made Jiwoong want to pamper you with kisses till he was satisfied, but instead he sat at your side and hugged you tightly, as the later option was best for you to not be redder than you were, besides you were still in public.
"I'm so thankful y/nnie"he broke the hug and pecked you quickly on your forehead just before the desserts arrived.
Keita
♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡
Being Keita is not an easy job, being that talented is difficult. How can someone be so good at everything? He's good at singing, dancing, rapping, producing his own songs. Lirerally perfection.
You as his girlfriend had always wandered how he could be such a perfect all rounder, but most importantly you always kept thinking how he could be yours.
However, as good as he was (like he excels at everything) he was also human, he struggled, he had his own worries and preoccupations. So when you caught him one day a little lower than usual you decided to listen to him and he decided to open up to you sincerely.
He talked about how Ciipher needed more support and that they weren't going through their best moments, although he sweetened it with other words, saying he wanted another challenge so he decided to audition to boys planet in search of an opportunity to debut.
And of course you supported him, how could you not? He deserved the entire world in your eyes and even more than that.
A few days after passing the auditions for the programme, he was preparing his song with the other japanese trainees "Zero for Conduct" and helping them as well with their korean.
When the practice ended he decided to visit you and rest for a while before going back to the doorms, where he was working with his team mates.
When he got to your house the first thing he did was look for you on the sofa, where he knew you were gonna be for sure watching a movie, a series or just scrolling through your phone, turns out the last option was the correct one.
You were so immersed on whatever you were doing you didn't even felt his presence behind you, making it a perfect opportunity for him to surprise you. He got close from behind with the intention of scaring you, however when he saw you were writing from an account by the name of keita's-simp he couldn't help but forget his plan and say out loud : "What are you doing right there?".
You jumped a little bit and looked back at him hiding your phone under a pillow.
"God damn Keita, don't scare me like that!"you told him back.
"No but seriously, what were you doing?"
"Oh, nothing important really, just watching videos honestly"
"So you are hiding your phone due to...?"he looked at you oddly.
"Due to you scaring the shit out of me?"you answered with an obvious expression.
He shrugged it off and accepted your response, although not very convinced of it.
After spending some time together just talking casually, you excused yourself for a moment to go the restroom. He wanted to take a look at whatever you were doing before, which he considered quite suspicious imo, but he wanted to respect your privacy. However, when he was about to continue with his activities your phone received a notification from that Twitter account, which he had seen previously. His curiosity gaining the best of him made him check out that little message, leading him to an account dedicated completely to him. He began scrolling through the posts revealing all kinds of sweet and short supporting messages.
He smiled revealing his cute little teeth and thinking of thousands of ways to tease his bae, until seeing that some of the posts dated from 2018 approximately. He was still a trainee back there so, he was confused, like really confused.
"Alright I'm ba-"you were saying when you saw him scrolling through your phone on your account.
"Are you looking through my things without my permission Mr Terazono?"you asked furrowing your eyebrows.
"Are you using an account named keita's-simp?"he asked you ironically and with a smug grin.
"Ye-, yes I am"you answered shyly.
"Then why are some posts so old?"
You sighed, knowing you couldn't escape the situation at all : "Well that' because YG TREASURE BOX started by that date".
He couldn't help but smile thinking of all the time you had been rooting for him : "Oh, really?"he raised his eyebrows in a teasing manner.
"Yeah..."
He got closer to you causing you to back off and fall to the sofa, as he then hugged you like a koala being on top of you.
"You don't have any idea of how thankful and blessed I am to have you"he said hiding his face
You just smiled at him and caressed his hair softly, making him fall asleep and not go back to his doorms, and although he was scolded, he didn't regret it in any way.
Jongwoo
☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
Jongwoo had been struggling on his path through Boys Planet, and although he was fighting for his dreams,he didn't find it as easy as he thought.
At first, he started smoothly with his group having good reviews and feedback from the star masters, which gave him some hope about his future. However, as the revaluation came and his stars dropped he lost some confidence and self-esteem.
Later, the K vs G group battle begun, where he was able to portray a better version of himself. He was even questioned why his star were so low when he had the talent and the ability to do more, that felt great to him, being praised for your hard work was amazing and it made him feel very proud. And it all payed off as his team won and he got the privilege to go to Mcountdown.
Then, the dual position battle arrived and he was pushed from the team he wanted, hurting his pride on the process. He wanted that team so bad and it just slipped through his fingers like it was nothing. Nevertheless, he slayed his performance anyways and could win individually. He felt relieved once again and really joyful. How could he not when his purpose of debuting started to make sense.
That leave us to his next mission, the Artist battle. He worked so hard for his song, Over Me. He suggested choreo, lyrics and lead his team perfectly. So being kicked out of it felt so wrong, it hurted so much, it made him think that he worked for nothing. He wasn't able to fight for what he wanted. When he got to the Switch team, he was really discouraged so he decided to not apply for the killing part.
Right now, he was preparing for a little event with star creators, which somehow gave him the strength to continue and give an amazing performance. However, when the curtain fell there were more than star creators, there were everyone's family and friends. Jongwoo could distinguish his friends from everyone else filling with giddiness and excitement. They were performing before people they cared about, and that was everything that mattered to him.
When he got time to talk to his friends he felt nothing but pure happiness.
"Jongwoo, you are doing great!"commented one of his friends.
"Thank you so much for coming guys, I appreciate it so much"
"Yeah, we've been watching all your performances and all twitter support you"someone said.
"You have lots of fans that support you!"
He was so happy to hear that, no one could imagine.
"Speaking of, there is this particular account that I see literally everywhere, they are really big fans. Look here it is"they said as they showed him.
He looked carefully and realised something, that way of writing was really familiar to him, way too familiar. And then something suddenly clicked, that was his girlfriend's way of speaking right there. How could he be so bland? All this time in the programme and he didn't thought of you once, how could he be so self absorbed?
After that day, in which they discovered it was a evaluation from their relatives and friends, he decided (although not adequate) to sneek from the planet camp and go to your apartment. He might regret it later, but at the moment you were the only thing on his mind.
When he got there, he unlocked the door and saw you preparing some food for you to eat, he felt so lucky to have you in his life. He hugged you from behind, hiding his face on the crook of your neck while you smiled knowing already who was the one that initiated that sign of affection.
"Hey baby, how's everything going on boys planet?"you asked him while still cooking peacefully.
"..."he didn't answered but started kissing your neck softly instead.
"Hehe that tickles"
You stopped smiling once you started to hear a silent whimpering sound.
"Hey Jongwoo, what's wrong?"you asked him as you stopped everything you were doing and turned around to see his face.
"Nothing, it's just-"
"Come on tell me" you encouraged him while whipping off his tears softly.
"It has been really hard, and I've just been so concentrated on winning that I forgot about my own girlfriend's existence, I've just missed you so much but couldn't think of it myself and-"
You silenced him by pressing a soft and sweet kiss on his lips, he corresponded eagerly and once you pulled apart you said to him: "Look, I'm not mad at that, I understand how hard it has been for you and all the hard work you've put in every single performance".
"Yes, but seeing your account has hitted my sensible spot"he said.
"Hahaha, you know I'll always be your number 1 fan. I'm so proud of you for raising so much on the rankings and having so much support from star creators".
"You are amazing, you know that? But jongwoo's-wifey, really?"he teased you.
You blushed at his remark.
"Well, I'm just being a fan, what do you expect?"
He giggled silently and got closer to your ear saying: "Well, if so you must call me your husbie"
"What?"
"Husband"
You turned redder than a tomatoe if that was even possible, getting away from him and hitting his arm playfully.
Did he mean it? We'll never know 👀
Taerae
♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡
It had been a really tiring day for Taerae, practising por Switch was nothing but easy. It was complicated for him as his dancing didn't stood out as the best, but could you ever be mad at it? No, his singing made up for it tho (and the dance is really fast paced, so💀💀💀).
He practiced and practiced and practiced, and practiced once again lead by phanbin,a really detailed person and a perfectionist, but at least being as strict as he was with the dance moves was helping him improve in some way.
All the hours and effort he had put into the performance were starting to make everyone tired, so phanbin decided to let everyone go home and rest for the next day.
When Taerae finally got home, he couldn't help but wanting to take a shower and just sleep for 3 days straight. So that's exactly what he did. He took a cold shower as he had sweated so much and as he was changing to something comfortable you got home being greeted warmly by your boyfriend.
"Hey y/nnie, how was work?"he asked you
"Exhausting actually, how's your practice for the Artist battle going tae?
"I can't wait for you to see it" he smiled brightly at you.
After showering and changing clothes as well, you both decided to just go with a session of cuddles and a movie for you to rest from your respective work and to just enjoy your time with each other.
You put a silly rom com to lighten your moods and basically to have it as background noises as you knew perfectly you would just talk through it.
You were resting your head on taerae's chest as he had his arms wrapped around you securely and protectively, leaving you reassured of nothing bad happening to you.
Right after finishing the movie (it was really bad, like horribly made), you excused yourself to go to the kitchen for a snack, he decided to enter Twitter and see what all star creators were up to. He saw from letters to drawings to threads looking carefully at every post were he was being showered with love and affection from his fans. However, he saw an account that looked familiar,it was his more loyal fan account taerae's-dimples.
He laughed once again at the silly name the person had opted to name the account. However, there was something really heartfelt about the way that the posts were made.
Not only did they complimented his physique and his looks, but they also bragged about their vocals and the way he had improved his dancing, knowing himself he wasn't a perfect dancer he appreciated it a lot.
They talked about how he laughed when he was with Junhyeon, about his adorable and lovely smile, his cute dimples, his amazing personality, how he was loved by lots of star creators, and the list goes on.
He was grateful for all his fans, but something about that particular person, just made him really like them .
So was his admiration for them that he decided to thank them personally (well not like face to face) using wake one's account. He slid through their dm's writing a short but sentimental message to them that could express all his feelings towards them.
He then pressed the send button and smiled satisfied of his little act of service, when suddenly your phone rang with a notification. He actually didn't pay much attention to that til you came back with some pizza and pop corn for you to eat while watching another film you both had chosen.
While eating, you checked your phone and saw Taerae's message:
-Thank you so much dear fan, thank you for always being there for me and supporting me in every way you can. It means so much to me, I'll show you a better version of myself. Hwaiting!!
You chuckled and laughed internally at Taerae, he was so sweet with everyone it made you fell more for him. You turned around and said to him:
"You can't be cuter seriously"
"What?"
"Your way of thanking your fans is adorable"
He looked at you confused as you showed him his message on your account.
He couldn't believe it, all this time and it was you.
"That was you?"
"Yeah"
He started laughing uncontrollably and looked at you with his mouth opened.
"Really, why are you like this?"he asked sighing.
Now you were the confused one: "huh?"
"You were making me fall in love over again, I can't stand you" he said while bringing you to his arms, too embarrassed to let go.
You giggled softly and hugged him back : "I'm just simply too cute"
"You sure are darling"
Wumuti
☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
The 2nd elimination had finished in boys planet and it was a little bit disappointing for you, a loyal supporter of your boy Wumuti. Placing 34th felt so close yet so far, feeling sad about it and can't help but worring of his current state as well, if it was hard for you to watch you couldn't imagine how hard was for him to experience.
There were a mix of emotions on the pit of your stomach, sadness, anger, pity, empathy, to name but a few.
You knew he wanted this so bad and seeing all his efforts on the Switch team being gripped out of him felt so wrong. Hearing him say he couldn't see the performance if he wasn't there was tough as well and you felt so bad for him.
However, this was not the end, you knew it perfectly. Now he had lots of more fans who supported him making you feel like all your promoting didn't go to waste. Yes, you did have an account dedicated to him, how else would you help him be voted by star creators? Your main purpose was to help him raise in rankings, but the most important was to be there for him as his number 1 fan and help him be happy chasing after his dreams.
Right after this, you decided to not be discouraged and still ask people to support him everywhere he went and with everything he did.
You suddenly heard the bell ringing, making you leave your phone immediately and run to the door suspecting who was gonna be at your door. When you opened it your guesses were right, it was Wumuti himself waiting for you to let him inside. He was standing there with a serious expression that changed when you opened the door to the biggest grin you had ever seen in your entire life.
"Babyyyy, I've missed you so muchhhh"he said hugging you tightly, a hug that expressed perfectly all his emotions.
You hugged him with the same passion throwing yourself at him in order to not have any space left between both of you.
"I've missed you moreeee, let's go inside first"you insisted.
As you entered your apartment you gave him a sweet kiss which he gladly accepted smiling right into it.
"I can't believe they've eliminated you when I've been working my ass off to promote you, people are blind I swear to God!"you finally let out your irritated state.
"Promote me?"he asked, confusion being present in his features.
"Yes,I think I've never used Twitter so much in my entire life, I have probably used it more in 2 months than ever"you showed him your phone with your account.
"Wumuti-ti-ti's-girl? Do you have an account for me?"he asked shocked, he really wasn't expecting that.
"Of course, what did you expect from me?
In that moment he felt the luckiest person on earth, wondering how could he deserve you and all your love for him.
He felt so overwhelmed by it tears started to fall from his eyes, we don't know if they were from sadness from being eliminated or from happiness from having you on his side or from both of them.
When you saw him like that you absolutely panicked at first, but you snapped out of it and brought him to your arms carresing his hair softly.
"Shhh it's okay baby, just take your time"
Instead of hugging you back he just (gonna die) let you comfort him telling him sweet words filled with truth on them.
When he finally stopped crying he separated his face from your shoulder and made eye contact with you dedicating you a soft smile that melted you.
"You mean so much to me you don't have any idea, I don't know what I'd do without you"he said sincerely.
"Well, you probably wouldn't do much"you said teasing him.
"Probably"
"But, I love you like that"you told him kissing his cheek.
"I love you too"
"Now let's talk why certain people don't deserve to be there as much as you do"
"Babe, no-"
"No yes, I will fight Mnet and some star creators I swear it".

Hi! I saw that you were asking for asks about Strangers from Hell, so I wanted to ask you when you think Moonjo started getting obsessed with Jongwoo? Like we see him peeping at him before he even talks to him for the first time, do you think he started wanting to make him into a 'masterpiece' then or later?
Oh my god I love this THANK YOU
I could talk about for hours I STRUGGLED to pick one episode only to talk on, kept writing shit back and forth aargh it was a nightmare
There’s like soooo many episodes I could use but I don’t wanna make this overly long and confusing to read anyways
But episode 6 works so well like when Jongwoo’s going back to look at the CCTV footage from last night to check what he did/said while he was drunk, we see him have this like stand off I guess? That’s not the right word I’m looking for but I can’t think of another one that fits well enough right now anyways just seeing Jongwoo so open and unfiltered more especially with how he’s talking to Moonjo, who’s just all giddy about getting under his skin. I think what really made his obsession with Jongwoo start to grow more was him saying he’s the creepiest one at Eden
It’s the way he says it too, he’s not scared of Moonjo here like he previously was shown to be in past episodes he’s just angry and frustrated taking it out on anyone and anything he’s able to. Moonjo likes seeing him this way he even says it himself the day after on the rooftop, he tells Jongwoo he likes him this way more when he’s just more vulgar says/does what he wants freely, acting the way he wants not how others want him to be.
ALSO ALSO Just that entire scene with one of the twins (I think his name was Deuksoo) arguing with Jongwoo, I’m certain if Moonjo hadn’t showed up when he did Jongwoo would’ve gotten killed right there and then. Even when Moonjo was there to calm things down Deuksoo kept telling him they should just get rid of him, he doesn’t like how far this has gotten he wants Jongwoo GONE
Literally no one in Eden likes him😭 Only reason he’s lived so long is because Moonjo likes hin so much it’s so funny to me anyways
also that scene where the twins and nambok are up on the forth floor, Deuksoo’s just so fed up and tired of Jongwoo being here, once learning he’s up investigating the forth floor he tries to deal with him himself only to end up getting killed by Moonjo. And what gets me the most from this scene is just how he acts here, he’s panicking almost he acted on impulse he’s so drastically different here he’s normally calm and collected most of the time but here?
He’s in a frenzied state, his breathing is picking up, the way he talks like he’s rushing to say something to keep control, to keep HIMSELF in control. Going as far as to threaten Deukjong, (the other twin) if he tries to mess with Jongwoo, HIS project his artwork.
Anyways yeah this episode is just sooo I really like it, I’m sure there’s more I talk on about but these are my main thoughts on his entire obsession with Jongwoo starting to just change more, I definitely feel like this episode is a turning point on how he saw Jongwoo and how he acts with him in later episodes,
I also think it has to do with the fact they’re so similar, even the other Eden residents say it themselves, there’s a few moments in the show where they’re compared to the other (again by the residents)
Also just the sheer difference between Jongwoo and kihyuk speaks volumes, and I think that could also play into why Moonjo liked him so much.
kihyuk’s eager too please, he’s obedient too controlled, while Jongwoo isn’t he easily snaps at anything, he has no control in his life, he’s impulsive and unfiltered
yeah those r my thoughts I have wayy more free feel to send me more asks it’s so fun answering these I have like nothing else better to do I was STRUGGLING to type this all out very fun though also I’m like so sorry if this is hard to understand/read I’m like constantly changing stuff trying to make it easier to understand but end up making it 10x confusing and I don’t usually reread most things because I get anxious and just end up deleting it entirely

Boys Planet Eps 9-10 Recap: Over Me
Hello, team BP! As you may know, I already wrote a recap/master post for episode 9, and another one for episode 10. This recap focuses just on the stuff that’s relevant to team Over Me -- their rehearsal period in episode 9 as well as their rehearsal footage and performance in episode 10. But you’ll have to get over the read more first.
The Trainees
Here’s a list of the trainees in this group along with their rank as of episode 8 and their two previous missions:
Zhang Hao 2 / Kill This Love/ Tomboy Jay 12/ Love Me Right / Home Ricky 14/ Back Door /Rush Hour Chen Kuan Jui 22 / Kill This Love/ Butterfly Lee Jeong Hyeon 24 / Love Me Right / Gang
The First Rehearsal Segment
At 43:13 in Episode 9, we visit with team Over Me for about 4.5 minutes.
The camera focuses on the Leader sticker on the floor, next to a bit of red fluff that must have come from those red fabric bands the boys are using in their dance. Looks like Yoon Jongwoo just took the sticker off and threw it, or dropped it, on the floor.
Zhang Hao is saying, “It must’ve been really hard to be a leader of 10 people.” Already, there’s a lot to unpack there. They’re talking about Yoon Jongwoo, clearly. But saying it like that sounds like they’re excusing something about him, something negative about him. Right? Like the way that when the poor Supercharger group fell apart at the self-evaluation performance, the trainees said, “Oh, this choreography must be super hard.” You talk like that when you’re excusing something negative.
Remember how I said, when I talked about T h e G r e a t R e s h u f f l i n g that I think they got rid of Jongwoo in part because they were just sick of him, and wanted Hao as the leader instead? I do think that happened. I think Jongwoo got stuck in a sort of negative headspace and people weren’t enjoying it. I think it was easier for Jongwoo to be the comeback kid than to be an actual contender. My take is that he’s climbed so high that now he’s scared to fall, and it’s making him act less friendly and warm than he used to. I could be wrong about all of this, of course.
That said, I think the PRIMARY reason they kicked out Jongwoo is that he was going to steal the show. As a result, the performance just won't be as good as it could have been. I feel sad about that.
But as much of a bummer as it is, given the situation, I can’t blame Hao and the others for doing what they had to do to succeed. They didn’t create the situation; they just reacted to it. And I like Hao! I’ve liked him since the start of the show.
The team nominates Hao to be the leader, and we’ve seen him do well as a leader in the past so it should go ok. After all, as he reminds us, he studied to be a music teacher and is “passionate about teaching others.” Aww, I get it, Hao. He promises to help everyone shine well on stage. Everyone but Keita and Yoon Jungwoo.
After electing Hao the leader, the team immediately also gives Hao the Killing Part. Lee Jungyeon gets to keep sub-vocal 2 that he wrote his own rap for, and as it turns out, he can also sing decently well (he’s a bit pitchy, but he has a nice tone and can probably work on it). We see almost nothing of Chen Kuan Jui this whole time, and he ends up with sub-vocal 4, so I guess Hao is taking sub-vocal 3 as well as the killing part.
And Hao feels certain they’ll win first place. Well, I was pretty sure that whatever 5 random trainees ended up in this song, this would be the winning team, so there’s that.
Again, we see absolutely nothing of them rehearsing. We didn’t see any of them rehearsing in episode 8, either. Is the show purposefully keeping the choreo a surprise until we see them actually doing it?
Second Rehearsal Segment + Performance
Skip to 1:09:56 in episode 10 for the rest of the performance.
So, I probably could have gotten this recap out sooner -- I was all up to date and I got most of all of this written -- but then I kind of stalled out because I just didn’t really want to talk about what happens with Over Me. It’s actually made me genuinely sad. My fella was like, you seem down, are you ok? And I had to be like, “I’m sad about what happened on my silly Korean reality show.” To his credit, he just listened and agreed with me a lot.
What could it be? What could have made BPR-Noona so sad? Let’s back up to the beginning of the rehearsal footage! You’ll find out either soon, or next episode! Let me give you 30 minutes of random filler first!
Oh no wait, I don’t work for MNET. I’ll get to the point fairly quickly.
As the boys take the stage, the judges talk about how this is a sexy song, and how it’s difficult to perform on stage.
We see that some people in the audience are holding up Lee Jong Hyeon signs so that’s good, because right now there are like, 5 or 6 really popular foreign trainees, so we’ll need to pump up any slightly viable Korean candidates to make sure to get them into top 9 to replace them foreigners!.... Sigh.
They all introduce themselves, and the audience goes crazy.
Back stage, Yoon Jong Woo graciously wishes them well. Also Park Hanbin is holding a tiny fan. There’s so much to love about this picture.
But soon we skip back in time….
We skip to a rehearsal with the judges -- they’re dancing in front of Solji and we see Solji look like this:
She asks if they’re going to record like this, because their singing seems half hearted, almost like they’re embarrassed of how sexy the song is. Ricky says they haven’t been practicing the vocals, and we’re left wondering -- what is going wrong with their rehearsals?
Because MNET is incapable of telling a story in order, we now do a flashback inside a flashback, because that’s confusing!
We skip to the day before. The team is working on the “rotations”, which seems to be formation changes. It doesn’t seem to be going very well, and as they’re trying to fix mistakes, Zhang Hao wants to give every single suggestion a chance. It seems to be confusing and frustrating for everyone. In fact, Chen Kuan Jui ends up sitting out the hall, just needing a few minutes to himself to calm down. (Interestingly, CKJ and Zhang Hao speak Korean when they’re alone together; CKJ is from Taiwan, so his language is actually totally different from Zhang Hao’s, but it’s interesting that the language they choose is Korean.)
We see the team at dance rehearsal with one of the psychopath dance teachers. The choreographer of the piece is there, and she’s the woman who did the killing part in the demo -- I pretty much assumed that she was the choreographer, so good job me! They ask the team how Hao is doing as a leader, and they don’t say anything for a moment, so the psycho says, “Ah, I see,” and he’s kind of right.
CKJ interviews that Zhang Hao isn't really doing a good job as a leader because they try every suggestion every time and maybe that’s not so great. Lee Jeong Hyeon says it was inefficient and Ricky says they still don’t know what to do.
Hey maybe you shouldn’t have kicked out Yoon Jongwoo and Keita because things tend to work out better when they’re around
The group rehearses their dance in front of psycho judge and they actually bump into each other and stuff. It’d be comical if the stakes weren’t so high. The psycho dance teacher is like, what the fuck? And for once I’m with him. They have no excuse. The choreographer doesn’t say a word the whole time (that we see). I think she’s kind of… over this. So to speak.
Later on Solji meets with Zhang Hao, apparently at his request. (Can I request to meet with Solji? I just want to chat about like, singing and kpop and I don’t know, life? I like Solji.) He tells her that he’s just having trouble figuring out how to lead the team.
She basically tells him worry less about everyone’s emotions, and to be more firm and more in control.
Next day, Hao goes in early and rearranges the choreo himself. When the team comes in, he teaches the new rotations and they begin working on it. It seems to be working a lot better now.
Later, we see them at the recording studio, which is something we haven’t seen with any other group. Ricky gets praised for his pronunciation (but not his vocals in general, which I think also deserve praise) and Lee Jong Hyeon gets told he sounds really professional in both singing and rap. We don’t see Jay singing, because the show hates him. We barely even see him at all.
Look at him tucked in a corner. Come on, Jay, push for yourself just a little, man!
We skip forward and now it’s D-day.
They come out and the stage is all draped in red fabric.
To continue with your Korean reading skills, 팀 says "team", as in, the English word spelled in Korean letters. The thing that looks like a capital E is a T, the straight line is an i, and the square is an M.
Part of me wishes they’d just gone full tilt and decorated the stage with like, multiple beds. But I guess the gauze draped over pianos (?) was as close to that as they’d dare.
There’s a cute moment backstage when Yoon Jongwoo tells Takuto to cover his eyes, and Takuto, possibly not knowing that they’re joking with him, says “I can watch sexy stuff too.”
The performance begins.
My take:
I’m sorry to be kind of negative in these reviews. I really think all 28 trainees are exhausted emotionally and physically at this point, just living off of adrenaline for three months, and it’s starting to catch up to them. And yeah, this performance wasn’t quite… quite.
Also, stylist noonas fucked over Jay.
I have to mentioning the problem with his styling up top, because I think it’s at least PART of what went wrong in terms of the vote. He’s capable of looking so much better than this -- what happened here? They made his eyebrows too dark, I think? And the choker screws with his proportions in a really bad way. Plus his chest is so light -- he needed to have consistent coloring from his neck down to wherever you could see with the shirt open. I don’t know, this just is all wrong. I’m not a stylist so I don’t know how to fix it but I’d start by taking the choker off for sure.
As for the actual performances...
Did you ever watch the video for Love Talk by WayV? I might catch hell from N-Citizens for this but that doesn’t give me any sparkles in my pants. It’s more like I cringe so hard, I almost fold inward and disappear into subspace -- except when Ten is on screen. Ten’s the only one who seems completely at ease with the overtly sexy message of the song. (If you’re not familiar, Ten is the one on screen from 0:00 to 0:20, among other times.) Everyone else is trying to look sexy or “serious” or… IDK, undressed, whatever. But Ten, I buy. There’s a reason that SM gave him Birthday. Whether he specifically makes your pants sparkle, you have to acknowledge that he owns this concept. Most people simply do not.
It’s really, really difficult to sell sexy without seeming sleazy, or inappropriately aggressive, or even worse, sleepy. I think a lot of trainees think that just staring at the camera dead eyed is sexy but it’s really not. I don’t know WHAT it is, to be honest. I just know that Ten can do it, and Kai can do it, and Joohoney and IM from Monsta X can do it.
On this team, Chen Kuan Jui can do it. CKJ was utterly fearless and completely, 100%, “in” the song. I don’t find CKJ sexually attractive in particular -- who knows why one does or doesn’t find a particular person sexy -- but his fancam is sexy AF. I wish we could see him more, that he wasn’t behind the other trainees. I wish it was basically just a CKJ dance solo. Heck, even my fella picked CKJ out as obviously the best dancer in this group, and when the song was over said, “I kept waiting for that one blonde guy (he meant CKJ) to do a dance solo and he never did.”
Ricky was really good too, of course. I still think he’s occasionally just a tiny bit stiff in his body, but in terms of confidence, comfort level with the song, and facial expressions, he does great. He knows how to smile in a sexy way -- I think that’s super important. And his vocals are also really good. He’s just sort of outclassed by CKJ, for me. Also, if you watch either of their fancams, it really looks like they’re in two different songs, so I wish the group had spent a bit more time figuring out what style of dancing they were going for.
If I was only allowed to vote for one person, though, I would have voted for Jay, because he’s the one who I would least want replaced by some other trainee for this performance. I think Jay’s vocals kind of make the song what it is. His dancing and performance commitment was absolutely up to par for a main vocal -- vocalists are given a bit of leeway in terms of dancing and he doesn’t even really need it, as far as I’m concerned.
Lee Jeonghyeon did ok, I don’t know, I have nothing really good or bad to say. Sorry. He looked handsome. His rap sounded good for a rap, though I think I would have liked the song better without it. (I’m a big fan of letting kpop songs NOT have a rap break in them, sometimes.) All I can think is, the team kept him, and not Yoon Jungwoo? God, Jungwoo would have killed this.
For me the biggest disappointment was Zhang Hao. I don’t know what it is, because I’ve liked him since the beginning, but this performance was just sort of… flat. I think he was too busy leading and he’s too tired and maybe a sexy performance just isn’t in his wheelhouse yet. I both believe and hope he can do better under better conditions, because I know he’s extremely talented, it’s just that for me, he didn’t do as well as I would have hoped.
It’s not as if Lee Jeonghyeon or Zhang Hao did badly; they both did well. They just didn’t shine, to me, or put sparkles in my pants.
Afterwards
The judges are impressed. They have nice things to say about Jay -- kind of? LipJ thinks Jay should have toned it down. They say Lee Jeonghyeon was cool and very handsome and that Zhang Hao pulled off the sexy part well. But we hear nothing about Ricky or CKJ, even though the judges MUST have said something nice about them.
So the boys go back stage to the folding chairs of doom to find out their numerical value, and then the awful thing happens.
Jay came in last with 485 votes.
Everyone is shocked. But Jay just nods. He says he expected it because no one was really cheering for him.
Look how sad and shocked everyone is.
And watching at home, I felt a little sick. What the fuck. What the fuck is wrong here.
A vote that low is punitive, you guys. That’s what they do when they hate you, or when you are Takuto. Jay isn’t Takuto, so they must hate him. Why? What is going on?
You know what? I don’t think I want to know. Jay’s vocals were so good. There was no reason for him to get such a low vote except that maybe people think he’s “ugly” (do they? IDK) or because he’s foreign or there’s some dumb social media drama or whatever. Maybe it’s because he’s too passive and it gives people the cringies? I don’t care. His vocals were great so shut up and press A.
I do think, however, that all this doesn’t necessarily mean Jay is doomed. The audience that goes to see live performances are not necessarily a representative sample of the full Star Creator vote. Plus, I think as the dust settles around this performance, the injustice of Jay receiving such a ridiculously low approval score will become clearer and clearer, and people may switch their vote to Jay. All I know is that I’m going to be voting for Jay from now on, because this is some fucked up bullshit. I’m also going to try to give his fancam some views.
Zhang Hao comes in first with 852 points, which ties Haruto. I don’t exactly agree; I think Ricky or CKJ should have come in first, but I get it, it’s fine. I don’t like, hate Hao or anything. I don’t think this was his finest moment but I actually think that no one has really had their finest moment in this go-round.
Zhang Hao interviews, “It was harder than I thought. The killing part had so many parts, so my mind was all over the place. I was worried if I could take first place. But when I saw the results I felt proud.” Aw, that's good. You worked really hard, Hao.
And that’s the end of this recap, and the end of episode 9-10 analysis. Next up is an elimination episode with metric crap-tons of filler. I’m caught up so I should be able to get a recap to that out pretty fast.
See you all in the next one, and thanks as always for reading!

A discussion about screentime: the tale of the dark horse and the main vocal
In a show with nearly 100 trainees at the beginning the screen time is a rare commodity. Why focus on this trainee and not on another? In itself the question of the distribution of screen time is interesting. But that's not the topic I want to talk about here. During the show they showcase some trainee in particular. But those trainees are sometime abandoned during the show runtime. What are their reasons for stopping giving their attention and screen time to a trainee ? Now that the show is over we can try to see their vision. That's why I want to discuss this specific topic about them stopping caring about trainees throughout the show. Hui is a great example of how they showcase a trainee early on for views and generate interest for the show: a sad backstory, lots of cliffhangers right before his performances... but all that fades as the season progresses.
I want to deal with this topic by comparing two cases: 1) one where I understand why they dropped this trainee ; 2) the opposite case where I absolutely don't understand why they do that.
As the title suggest i want to speak about Jongwoo and Jay. Just to be clear there are other trainees who can be referred to as dark horse or main vocal on Boys Planet, it was just a more appealing way to phrase the title of this post. As hard to said as a Jongwoo one pick i will explain why i think they stop caring the same way about him after the second round. In a second part we will speak about Jay and why i still don't understand why happen to him, how he go from a main vocal contender to be absolutely abandoned by the show.
Since the beginning of the show he always have a bit of screen time each episode. Progressively his screen time increases. He went from a one star to the center of Back Door in the first round. And for the second mission, he was the main character of the home team storyline. But then for the third mission his screen time is minimal. He can't be an important character all the time but his screen time has really decreased. The problem is also how they handle his storyline this round. The first episode of this arc show him defeated after being kicked out. He lost his confidence. The problem is not showcase him having negative emotion it's they didn't give any resolution to it. In the next episode he still seem defeated. And it's not like he didn't perform well (Side note: he's not the only one they do this to Keita too, showing him only defeated). And the last blow was when they forget to put him on the thumbnail of the performance (they realized their mistake few hours later but still).
So what happened? It's bittersweet to say that it's during the second mission that started his downfall in a way. Before that his ranking always increases. In the second mission : he have his big storyline moment, his performance shown in the first episode of the mission and at the end of that same episode, in the interim ranking, he is revealed to be P16. Everything is good right? During the elimination, he places P15 meaning his ranking increases by only one place. That means he stagnating in the ranking, even with all the highlight he got, he can't go higher. And sadly he didn't go higher. So from their view point it can be understable they drop him and his screen time, his ranking didn't match their expectation.
Before the last ranking i was questioning where Jongwoo was in the interim ranking during the third mission. Only the P 6-7 and P 14-18 where revealed. So was he higher than P 14 or below the cut off ? With the last ranking we can assume that he was probably behind the cut off. And that would explain the editing around him during the third round. For them, he was going to be eliminated anyway so why give him screen time? (if that true it's mean that he rise from at least four place in a week) To end on a positive note Jongwoo part, at least he made it to the final and showed that he has regained his self-confidence. And ironically he have a lot of screen time in the final.
Now it's time to talk about the biggest change in terms of screen time : Jay. How many times did they replay his hight note from Love Me Right ? During the first round he was clearly showcase as a potential main vocal. And in the first elimination, he enters the top 9 in the last spot. During the second round, he did not stand out so much during the performance and goes out of the top 9 the second elimination. Third round, he is in the winning time but at the last place. The editing in the performance was weird to say the least, they didn't properly show him during his high note. It's the polar opposite with the LMR performance. And his rank keeps dropping.
So it's the seem it's the same story as Jongwoo ? Only on the surface, looking at the ranking but it's much deeper and less understandable. They stop pushing him since the second round but it was what happened in the last round that confused me the most. They gave us a interim ranking showing only three rank (P3-10-11). During the period voting of the final live they didn't show any rank (unlike GP999). And who end up in the P10 at the end : Jay. If all the speculation are true and he was P9 during the interim what happened between the first round and the final ? It's so weird. I can't thinks of anything to explain what happened to him. I can understand what happened to Jongwoo. In Jongwoo case, it was the lack of following that drove them to drop him but Jay ending at P10 almost in the debut group had that following. So what happened ?! And i understand that who they wanted for the final group can change during the show. Still looking back at the beginning of the show it's day and night. And they replayed one last time LMR high note in the final. I wanted to compare these two cases because in one case we can understand what happened but not in the other.
So that's all for my wanderings. I just needed to express those thoughts. To conclude, ironically for the both of them the start of all of this happened during the second round with the Home performance.
And it's my favorite performance of the show.

Hello :D I have random question for you...
If Moonjo and Jongwoo were animals, what animals would they be? :D
i really did try not to be all weird and creepy with this ask, i swear lmfao. i was trying to come up with something more metaphorical and idk...not weird, but this is matt y'all are talking to and i'm literally stupid and don't think about like beautiful, elegant references to why i think this character is like this animal. it took me a few days to respond to this because i knew i was going to embarrass myself, but i also love it when y'all send me asks like this and i didn't want you to think i didn't like it.
so, because i really did enjoy the question and also at risk of never getting another one again because of how off the wall this answer is, here goes:
i watched a tiktok right before i got this message. there's a guy i watch on there who has really terrifying facts about animals that just...oh god i love his videos okay. this question conveniently happened to pop up right after i watched one about ribbon worms. yeah, i immediately thought moonjo. proceed at your own risk here.
idk if you've ever seen these guys online or anything, but they're pretty fuckin terrifying. they hunt prey by shooting this white, branching appendage called a proboscis out and literally dragging their prey in and swallowing them whole. some species can consume prey multiple times their size. i'm not gonna post any links to videos since tumblr likes to delete posts from tags if they have embedded links, but youtube has plenty for y'all. google itself has ample resources too lmao.
but here's the real kicker: they're super hard to kill. most species can regenerate, and it's damn near like they're multiplying because they can be severed in multiple spots.
but the proboscis is really what got me making this comparison. i think to all the hands moonjo had on everyone else in the show. the twins and nambok were petrified of him--even ms. eom had her reservations about him. kihyuk was ensnared by him by simply thinking he had a place where he belonged. and it's obvious jongwoo wasn't getting out until he did what moonjo expected of him. moonjo had them all in his hands.
a couple extra little ribbon worm facts you didn't ask for but you're getting anyway that may or may not be somehow relevant to moonjo:
using the proboscis, a ribbon worm may even inject toxins to paralyze prey or digest them before they even get to its mouth. some of them have a proboscis over 20 times their body length.
as for jongwoo...yeah, brace yourself, because this one isn't any less weird. my boy, because of how unpredictable he is and how he responds to trauma, is a zebra.
let me explain: zebras live in an area rife with predators and other animals that make it very difficult to coexist peacefully. Because of that, they have no other choice but to respond with volatility and aggression.
and we have seen in the show that jongwoo absolutely can and absolutely will fuck your shit up if you pose a danger to him. all in all, he's just trying to live his life and he doesn't attack others just for the sake of attacking others--he does it as a defense mechanism--because he has no other choice.
to continue on that tangent, zebras don't just kick the shit out of their enemies in defense either. they will bite, push, and do whatever it takes to settle whatever shit may be happening. on top of that, if another stallion tries to get involved with their mate, they will absolutely fuck them up. see also: what jongwoo would have probably eventually done had moonjo not turned jaeho into a 'was' before him.
and because i did the same thing for ribbon worms, have a couple of facts about zebras that may or may not have something to do with jongwoo too:
they can run up to 65 km per hour. in miles per hour, that's 40. that's...really fucking fast, and probably also means they have hella endurance--hence, why jongwoo survived that fight, as exhausting and painful as it looked. also, they can sleep standing up. idk if that directly correlates to jongwoo, but i feel like it somehow does.
so yeah--my weird version of something that was probably intended to be a lot more beautiful and metaphorical, but i'm dense as fuck and really bad at metaphors and also just have a genuine interest in strange facts about animals. i really really wish i was sorry, but i wouldn't have shared all this with y'all if i was gonna lie about it lmfao.
that being said, pls don't hate me aldjkfklasjdflk

chapter one
< previous: about
Coming to Seoul and leaving his parents was hard. But in order to stay close to his girlfriend, Jongwoo agreed to it. He was aware of the high expense in everything surrounding the city, but when he did arrive, the rent money of all the apartments was...skyrocketing. On top of it, his laptop was broken by a stranger who hastily took off his luggage from the bus. His day wasn't getting any good and although it was a harsh condition, he knew he can endure it for Jieun.
As he was having his fill at a nearby restaurant, he looked up an advertisement put up by a residence that went by the name of "Eden Residence" located at Eunhyeon-gu. What caught his eye was the price of rent that was displayed along with it – 190,000 won. It seemed way too cheap for a room.
The streets around the residence were empty. And it was a pretty disappointing sight.
He knew that he didn't have much of a choice. He needed a room, the prices were high, he was physically tired and this was the only affordable place available.
When the landlady opened the room for him, a sense of disgust took over him. But he was still curious about the price. There had to be some reason for it to be this low. On asking, the landlady revealed that some guy had committed suicide on the residence before him. And how the fourth floor was kept off-limits because of a fire break sometime earlier. Although reluctant, he didn't have much of a choice and decided to stay for six months. It further soured his mood when the landlady informed him about the common bathroom he had to share with every resident.
Now, the residents. Not one of them looked normal to him. One of them kept laughing, one of them was a pervert with a room filled with pictures of naked women, a gangster who seemed to be annoyed at anything and everything, and some other guy who seemed to be pissed at him for no reason. But he consoled himself thinking how he only had to endure all of it for six months.
Although it is six whole months without privacy since the residents can ever hear who was breathing next door. He had to go to the rooftop to speak with Jieun. To top it all off, things weren't going easier in his job. Well, he's still an intern but he hoped to get the job eventually. He knew the CEO of the company and he was a nice person, although it felt like Jaeho sometimes wanted to embarrass him publicly. He could tolerate his senior being a pain in the ass for some time.
His mind filled with the current situation, he decided to call the one person he knew would calm his nerves. But..she couldn't understand him either.
"No, no way. I'm sure people here aren't in their right minds either," Jongwoo said.
"Maybe you're a bit too sensitive," Jieun said.
"What?" Jongwoo asked. He tried to find some comfort in her, but even she thought he was being sensitive. After a long bad day, all he wanted was for her to at least listen to him. She wasn't even here in the first place. A small tinge of pain took over his heart.
But he knew Jieun was saying all this just because she had no idea about it.
It wasn't her fault.
"Oppa, you must be tired," Jieun spoke over the phone, "Don't let it get to you, and go to sleep."
The least he could do is make her understand. He replied, "Jieun it might sound like I'm making a big deal out of nothing but if you come and see-"
"Oppa, I'm really tired after working long hours. Let's talk again tomorrow. Is that alright?" Jieun interrupted him.
"Okay then. Goodnight," Jongwoo said and disconnected the call. Sighing, he looked over at the tiny glimmering lights spread all across the city. He felt...lonely. All he expected was to stay and meet with Jieun as much as possible. But he didn't take the amount of work he had to do in his plans.
But..this felt nice. The rooftop was the only place his mind felt a bit of peace.
"You must be the new guy."
The new voice made him look in the direction it came from. It was someone he didn't encounter before. A handsome man, probably in their late 20s like him, wearing a white full-sleeved shirt indicating how he must have just come back from work.
Jongwoo quickly answered, "Yes."
"Ms. Um told me that we have a new resident in room 303," the man smiled looking at him.
Jongwoo nodded in response and looked forward at the city again, feeling awkward.
"Don't you like it here? It's suffocating the room as if you're lying in a coffin. But you can feel a little better if you grab a can of beer up here."
The man still had his eyes set on him without a break. Was he observing him? Must be. With all the weird residents around here, he shouldn't be surprised if there aren't any new normal people. So far, the man wasn't as weird as the rest. But it irked Jongwoo, the way he stared at him with a smile. What was so funny between them?
"Anyway, why do you keep smiling at me?" Jongwoo asked, trying his best to conceal the tone of irritation in his words.
"Oh, I'm sorry if I offended you," he responded.
It made Jongwoo feel a bit bad. It might be that there's nothing wrong with him in the first place. Nothing was going right so far in Seoul. Maybe it was something that he needed to be pointed out bluntly. Maybe Jieun was right.
"No-" he said.
"Just because...I like you."
Jongwoo was taken aback. "What?" he asked. No way he was hearing this right. Sure, he had some girls confess to him before but it would be the first time that a guy came to..confess. But it couldn't be right.
This was the first time they met each other, right?
Moonjo should've done this earlier. He knew Kihyeok was defective. He couldn't be what he wanted him to be.
But, the past is past. No need to worry about it now. His latest subject of interest was the new resident – Jongwoo. From his appearance, he looked way too innocent.
Oh, it would be so pleasing to break this fragile being.
He watched through the small hole in the wall as Jongwoo took an exit holding his phone. Taking some cans of beer in a plastic he went to the rooftop, hoping he would turn out to be as interesting as he thought.
And, he was right.
Jongwoo didn't act the way he actually is. The moment he questioned him about the way he was staring at him, he could sense the tone he spoke in. No, this person was someone who keeps all of his rages inside.
Now all he needed to do is to pull these emotions out.
"Do you want a beer?" Moonjo said holding out one can towards him, "I just bought it so it's cold."
As they opened each of their own beer, Jongwoo said, "You must've hurt your hand."
Moonjo felt delirious. He smiled, took a glance at the scar on his hand, and said, "Yes, I got hurt at work."
Oh, Jongwoo was good. He had observation skills.
"You must be in a rough business if you hurt your hand working," Jungwoo further stated.
A perfect candidate. Moonjo could barely hold in his joy. He stared at Jongwoo's fingers for a while and said, "You have very delicate fingers. Do you write by any chance?"
Of course, he knew about it. He just wanted to watch Jongwoo's reaction. But those delicate fingers. He wondered how perfectly it would fit in his hand. How soft it would feel when he touches him. Or..how good it would feel when he pleasures him.
Well, too bad it won't stay the same.
"How do you know?" Jongwoo asked, taking a sip.
Moonjo laughed at his expression and said, "People each have their own special ambiance. Something like that. I do something similar too. I break things up, put them together, and recreate." He could sense him getting uncomfortable and quickly changed the topic, "What's your favorite genre?"
"I like crime novels," Jongwoo answered.
"What are the chances? I like crime novels too," Moonjo chuckled. But Jongwoo still didn't look interested. Maybe it's time to drop another one of his likes. "I like Raymond Chandler."
Oh, that piqued his interest. Jongwoo turned to look at him with curious eyes. "Really?" he asked.
"Yes."
"Hey, I like him too!" Jongwoo finally let out a laugh, "Actually, to be honest, I didn't think I'd meet someone here who likes the same author as me. Not a lot of people know Raymond Chandler. Have you read The High Window?"
"Of course, I have," Moonjo said. He couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. How adorable. Jongwoo was just like a little puppy. It made him feel giddy how his cute toy was the one staring at him now. By far, Jongwoo is the most perfect human he has ever met. Wondering how good they would look together, he decided to ask his next question. If he was interested in crime, this one question would define how immaculate an artwork he can be.
"Could you tell me a little about the novel you've been writing?"
next: chapter two >
forever, jagiya.
MASTERLIST
author's note: Okay, this would be my first M/M fanfic and I don't know how good I can be. It goes exactly like in the show, except it's romantic. I don't know what else to say except romantic cause like... it's full of violence. But, please go easy on me. Wish me luck, I guess?
I didn't know how to start but figured it would be better to lay out the beginning of how everything started. I don't know how good I did it, but I tried. Maybe this chapter is a bit boring, but thank you for reading!

If someone called me 'chuchuzinho', I wouldn't care if it was Seo Moonjo himself, I'd laugh at them so hard. If it happened in public, I'd hide my face and act like I'm not the one they are talking to. Absolutely horrendous (but a classic nonetheless; thank you for bringing attention to this one XD).
**I gotta correct myself, though. Apparently, the term 'chuchu' comes from the french word 'chouchou' (that means many things, such as 'pet' and 'chayote', but the definition that made it a term of endearment was 'favorite'). It just so happens that the word became to be pronounced and written the same way as the one we use to name the fruit chuchu (which hid its original meaning completely for the ones of us who don't speak french and couldn't possibly make a connection between the two).
Honestly, there is something so intimate about 'dengo'... Had Moonjo called Jongwoo something such as 'dengo' in their first meeting, I'd have died on the spot. AND NOW THAT YOU'VE SAID I can't stop imagining a post-canon Jongwoo calling Moonjo 'dengoso' (*an adjective that comes from the word 'dengo'; someone who is, or is acting overly affectionate) in scenarios like, let me see... When Jongwoo's fingers are lazily caressing Moonjo's scalp, his head on Jongwoo's lap, and Jongwoo is currently unable to get up because Moonjo has been asking for "five more minutes" for half an hour now. His killer boyfriend can be like a big dengoso cat sometimes.
'Meu bem' is indeed everything. We're completely dependent of context to understand the meaning behind this one. In a moment it can mean so little, but in another situation can mean so much. And this 'so much' can mean anything from animosity to affection. It's perfect to make someone confused.
Pretty sure Netflix won't listen to us, though. People there are insane. They just said fuck it and chose 'amor' (love). Boom. Not even a mild 'coração' (heart), or 'querido' (darling), or 'paixão' (passion), or 'bebê' (babe)—all common, popular choices, and equally acceptable. No. They looked at Moonjo and thought "This is a man in love if I've ever seen one," and then Jongwoo was called love in every scene they didn't think it was best to erase it. (And I've been losing my mind ever since).
My personal ranking of (english) “Jagiya” translations for Moonjo calling Jongwoo:
Honey - I feel like this is the optimal word for someone like Moonjo to use
Babe - love it, edgy, kinda funny but it’s a tiny mini bit too idk… crude for Moonjo
Darling - it’s sweet, too sweet? Something is missing
∞. - untranslated / censored can go f themself
#I'm dying to know your thoughts on 'benzinho' @srabaskerville#ushjxjsjsnndjsjshjdbxhcjhxh#sorry but it's like we speak the same language *deadpans*

BREEDING WITH JONGWOO??
— 🫐
jongwoo would always have you in a mating press, mind stuck on the fact that he wants to breed and fill you up with his seed that would blossom into a baby.
jongwoo just wants to turn you into the prettiest mommy, filling your pretty cunt up with his cum. he even makes sure that you wouldn’t waste a single drop, almost immediately slipping in a plug to keep his cum in you.
“gonna make you all pretty, yeah? be my baby’s mommy..” jongwoo grunts, plowing into your pussy as you screamed, nails scratching jongwoo’s chest as you held onto him for leverage.
your cunt speaks for you, clenching and pulsating around jongwoo’s girth as he keeps your thighs flat against your upper body.
it doesn’t take long for you to cum unannounced, making jongwoo grunt before gripping your thighs tightly as he kept fucking you harder, chasing his own orgasm while muttering a series of words about breeding and impregnating you.
“fillin’ you up with my cum, gonna make me a daddy— hhng fuck! ‘m cumming.” jongwoo groaned before he thrusted hardly into your pussy, slamming his cock into you before spurting his hot cum into your warm cavern.

first onepact req, idk why but im kinda nervous 😭
jongwoo who loves it when you wear skimpy tops or mini skirts outside, only to fuck you as soon as he can, whether it be making you suck him off in a public restroom or fingering you underneath the table at dinner right in front of the other members. Hes so mean about it too :( degrading you as hes ruthlessly fucking ur mouth or shoving two fingers in you, calling you a slut, his pretty little slut at that. i NEED to hear your thoughts. - 🫐 (if its not taken lmaooo)
HHHHHH skirt lover!jongwoo 🤤
you are honestly so right about jongwoo being thirsty over you wearing a skirt because he is just immediately drooling once he sees you wearing the tiniest of skirts you own.
this just makes me think about him touching you on a crowded train.. like you would both be standing in the farthest corner, letting people crowd around you both. you’d be in the corner while jongwoo would stand in front of you, quite literally caging you in.
his hands would be all over the place, first it would be innocently holding your hand before he reaches in behind you, cupping your ass which makes you gasp as your eyes widen at him.
jongwoo looks right at you like he isn’t doing anything, he continues to grope your ass before he lets his free hand do the same, now the tips of his fingers were placed right in the crook of your ass, poking at your skimpy panties that you shouldn’t have worn if the skirt was as tiny as underwear.
you whimpered, hands reaching to hold onto your boyfriend’s shoulders as he continued to molest your ass.
“this is what you wanted, hmm? for me to touch you like a pervert?” jongwoo purred in your ear, making you whimper once more when he took his hands off of you.
he takes just a few tiny steps back before turning you around, now you had your back against him as he came closer to you, flipping your excuse of a skirt up before grinding against you.
“cum and i’ll fuck you once we’re out of here.” jongwoo muttered into your ear as he held your hips against his, pulling you close to him as he kept grinding against you, rock hard dick placed right in between your clothed cheeks.
you nodded, pushing your hips back at him as you grinded yourself against jongwoo, pussy growing even wetter by the minute as a rush of people came out of the train once it halted before another rush of people came in, filling the train up once more.
your lip was going to burst as you kept on biting it as you tried to compress your whimpers and moans, your chest was heaving with pants by then, your eyes were brimming with tears as jongwoo whispered degrading words into your ear.
you shut your eyes closed as you simply let jongwoo use you like you were some sex toy, your hands shook as you held desperately on your skirt, knees shaking underneath you as jongwoo pushed your cheek further onto the wall, now pressed against the train’s walls because of crowded it was getting.
jongwoo smirked when he felt you shaking against him, “just cum already, slut. i know you want to, could feel you shaking like a leaf.” he chuckles, grinding harder against you.
whimpering as a response, you do cum, releasing buckets of slick into your soiled panties which makes jongwoo take a breath of relief when he could do the same, cumming in his boxers when he felt your behind pool with wetness.
he quickly puts your skirt down, holding onto your hand as he slowly helped you out of the train once it was the last stop on the line.
jongwoo immediately makes a bee line towards the restroom, indeed fucking you like he mentioned earlier if you came on the train, letting people hear your loud moans from outside.

ok last one i promise but hard dom!jongwoo disciplining brat!reader…
— 🫐
hard dom!jongwoo always proves his point by having you on your stomach over his knee, making you count as he spanks you despite your complaints that you didn’t do anything wrong.
jongwoo tuts, “nuh uh, sweetheart. i’ll only stop if you accept the fact that you were being a spoiled brat.” he says, hand rubbing the pale skin of your ass that was slowly flaring up after 10 spanks.
you groan and whine like the brat that you are, still avoiding the fact that you were indeed a brat.
he shakes his head, “count.” jongwoo says before quickly slapping your ass, making you flinch before you continued counting.
“13.. 14.. 15.. w-wait— 15..” you count, stumbling over numbers when jongwoo’s hand becomes heavier against your skin. he smacks you hard, making you yelp as you tried to look back at him.
“wrong number, going stupid already after a spanking?” jongwoo shoots daggers at your embarrassed eyes, shying away from his judgmental ones.
“not stopping until you say sorry.” jongwoo says before spanking you again but you put up a fight, tolerating the stingy spanks that jongwoo gave you.

onepact and their cock sizes
onepact members genre ౨ৎ explicit
jongwoo - (for reference) jw was thick and he knew just how to put his girth into use, easily having you trash around as he plunged deeper into you, cockhead poking right at your spot easily.
jay - (for reference) graced by his western blood, he’s long but since there’s asian blood in him, he’s on the thinner side too. on the prettier side, j would need a little bit of help when it comes to fucking you, always needing your words to ease him into pushing himself into your cunt.
seongmin - (for reference) definitely on the longer and thinner side just like jay. nearly pin straight with a slight curve at the tip, his cockhead would be poking right at your spot if he slips in, causing you to go dumb when he fucks you.
TAG - (for reference) long and proud, tag was being cocky about his cock when you said you took bigger cocks than him but you were already begging him to stop when tag was only halfway in you.
yedam - (for reference) on the thicker side, yd would be the type to sigh and rest his head on your shoulder as he’d slowly sink right into your heat, breath whiny as he feels your cunt swallowing him up.

i had a dream about threesome with jongwoo and tag and i cant stop thinking about it 😭, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS!!
— 🫐
jongwoo would definitely be on the rougher side but his words would be soft and gentle, while tag contradicts that. tag’s touches are soft and yet his words degrade you, hence why he likes to do you from behind, gently thrusting into your cunt while you’d have jongwoo in your mouth, roughly thrusting in and out your warm cavern.
“your pretty pussy is so tight baby.. keeping oppa’s cock warm and snug..” tag grunts in your ear, hands gripping your hips as he pulled you towards him as he thrusted.
you moan around jongwoo’s cock, making him whine before gathering your hair into a ball, bobbing your head up and down his length when you forget to suck him off.
“gyun-ah, quit talking.” jongwoo grunts when you gagged on his head, sputtering with his cock still in your mouth.
tag shakes his head, “baby’s pussy goes tighter when i do, you should fucking feel how tight this shit feels—“ tag shudders when your pussy pulsates when he spoke.
“that’s it, keep on clenching around oppa like that.” tag smiles from behind, feeling your ass bounce against his pelvis as you fucked yourself on both ends.
the two moan in chorus before holding onto you tightly, each cumming in their own accords as they shot ropes of cum into your hole.

Boys Planet Episode 3-4 Recaps: Back Door
If you’re following the MNET show Boys Planet, you probably know by now that the editors are extremely irritating. For a song “mission” like this, they show 2-3 minute montages of some of the teams practicing, then fast forward to show time passing, then make it look like the performance will start any moment, and then have a lengthy flashback before we finally get to see the performance.
So, I made a main recap that takes you through episodes 3 and 4 in a linear way, but then when it comes to focusing on each team, I’ll put all those thoughts in a separate post so you can keep the storylines straight. This post is the Back Door teams’ rehearsal and performance.
The Teams
K team:
Leader: Kim Ji Woong
Other members: Han Yu Jin, Ji Yun Seo, Kim Min Seong, Kim Tae Rae, Kum Jun Hyeon, Yoon Jong Woo
Han Yu Jin is likely familiar to you. He’s 15 and is part of that team that auditioned with Kick It, who all got 4 stars and later all dropped to 3 stars. He also is the tiny sickly baby who had a horrible fever for days and the show just let him keep working.
You probably also recognize 24-year-old Kim Ji Woong. He is a noted BL (boy love) genre actor, and auditioned with Mirotic (with a BL concept).
In the first episode, Ji Woong was ranked 2nd and Yu Jin 3rd; in the second episode, they switched rankings. But obviously they’re both extremely popular.
Yoon Jong Woo, age 22 and wearing a headband today, is the one who pretended to kiss Kim JiWoong during the star level test. Jongwoo auditioned with him in Mirotic, was ranked 73 and then 67, and dropped spectacularly from 3 stars, to 2 stars, to 1 star when the judges reassessed the Star Level Test results by reviewing the video.
Ji Yun Seo, age 18, was also on that Kick It team with YuJin (in fact, he was the leader), but is a lot less popular. He was ranked 86th at the end of episode 1, but flew up to 53rd for episode 2. Like his teammates, he dropped from 4 stars to 3.
Kim Min Seong, 19, auditioned with NuNu NaNa. He was ranked 78th and then 79th, and was an all star at first but dropped to 3 stars.
Kum Jun Hyeon, 19, is my little cousin (not really!) and a noted yeller. He also auditioned with NuNu NaNa and has been an all star the whole time.
Kim Tae Rae, 20, performed in my favorite audition, The Real, as the main vocal. He’s so good, so I’m happy to report he’s popular -- ranked 9th and then 12th. He was a 3 star and lifted himself to 4 stars -- yay Tae Rae! I mean, yae!
G team:
Leader: Na Kamden
Other members: Ricky, Brian, Chen Jian Yu, Feng Jun Lan, Krystian, Zhang Shuaibo
You will likely recognize many of the members of this team.
Ricky is often seen, but rarely heard. He has a distinctive look and a sort of presence to him. He’s only 18, despite looking older; he was ranked 12th and then 13th; his audition with Kick It (G) earned him 3 stars but then he fell to 2.
Brian auditioned with Ricky, and earned 3 stars but then fell to 1. He’s 20, Canadian-Chinese, and was ranked 37th and then 28th.
Chen Jian Yu and Krystian auditioned with Call Me Baby.
Chen Jian Yu is 24, was ranked 28th and then 34th, and has been a 1 star the whole time. Incidentally, he has light purple hair now.
Krystian is 23, was ranked 21 and then 23, and has been a 2 star the whole time. He’s been on other survival shows and came into this one with a bit of a following.
Feng Jun Lan is 23, was ranked 92nd and then 89th (oofta), and has been a 2 star the whole time. He auditioned with God’s Menu, and fwiw, I thought he did a lot better than the rest of his team and deserved 3 stars.
Zhang Shuaibo auditioned on the very tall Reveal team. That team had a rough time and it was hard to see who was best or worst, but I thought Zhang Shuai Bo might have been the strongest on the team. He’s 20, was ranked 22nd and then 32nd, and has been a 1 star the whole time.
Na Kamden auditioned with Rush Hour, with Jay. Jay got all the focus, but I thought Kamden did a good job as well, and he got 3 stars, where he stayed. He’s 21, was ranked 82nd and then jumped all the way to 37th.
So, this team has 5 Chinese members and one Chinese-Canadian member who speaks Chinese. Kamden is the only one who doesn’t speak Chinese on this team. This will become A Major Issue.
Team Selection:
This was the 2nd K-team chosen, and Kim Ji Woong did the choosing.
This was the 4th G-team chosen, though I’m not sure who did the choosing.
Episode 3, 1:10:50
Part Selection
On the K-side, we see that the team has chosen Mr. Sexy BL Kim Ji Woong leader, at least in part because he chose the team, and he immediately says that he is just the mediator (“okay!”) and has no power (“okay!”) and that he’s just a listener (“okay!”) and that their opinions are more valuable than his (“congratulations!”).
They all admit openly that they want the killing part, which is huge. My little cousin and noted yeller Kum Jun Hyeon says he’s always been an all star; formerly sickly baby Han Yu Jin says that when he was center (for Kick It) his whole team were made all stars, leaving out the part where they all dropped to 3 stars later. Yoon Jong Woo really really wants the center, too, and does a good mini audition for his team so wins the part, winning votes from Kim Ji Woong, Kim Tae Rae, Kum Jun Hyeon, and even Yujin’s Kick It teammate, Ji Yeon Seo. Oh, burn!
Somehow, Tae Rae ends up sub-vocal 1 -- I don’t get it, he’s a really great vocalist. Ji Yun Seo ends up the main vocal, and I mean, he does have a decent singing voice, but Tae Rae is spectacular, so I’m so confused. Maybe sub-vocal 1 has the toughest high notes or something.
Yujin ends up with a small part, and interviews that he has no confidence. It’s almost as if he’s recently been the victim of horrible emotional abuse while being pushed past his physical limits.
Over on team G…
Left to right: Na Kamden, Chen Jian Yu, Ricky, Zhang Shuaibo, Brian, Krystian, Feng Jun Lan.
Again, we can see that Chen Jian Yu has dyed his hair light blue sometime after the initial audition.
They all say that they think Na Kamden would be a good leader -- maybe because he’s the only 3 star on the team -- and he says he thinks he could be a good leader. But the team is slow to pick their positions, and when Kamden tries to get everyone to try for the Killing Part, Krystian pushes back, and speaks Chinese while doing so. Kamden is left in the dark, but also doesn’t advocate for himself. Like, just say “please use either English or Korean or even hand gestures -- I don’t understand Chinese.” Kamden asks in English, “What are you guys talking about right now?” but gets literally no answer. And Kamden just sits there feeling worse and worse but doesn’t seem to do much about it. Why are so many people so passive? It makes life more difficult.
I’m just going to tell a super quick story and you can skip this paragraph if you don’t care. I was once on a big city metro train with a friend and I asked her to hold my coffee for me while I took off my coat. She agreed, and then almost immediately put my coffee down on the floor of the train while she took off her own coat. When I said, “woah, you put my coffee on the floor?” she said “well, I had to take off my own coat.” Here’s the thing: Say so right away. When I ask you if you can hold my coffee, say, “one moment, let me take off my own coat first,” and then take off your coat, you know? Just say what’s on your mind. Don’t make me the bad guy by passively agreeing to something you don’t want to do, but then get mad at me for having asked, and get back at me by putting my coffee on the floor of a disgusting metro train. I mean, I drank the rest anyway but you know what I mean. And no, that girl and I are no longer friends, thank god.
What I’m saying is that both Kamden and Krystian are problems here, in different ways. Krystian should have admitted he wanted to be leader, since it seems obvious to me that he wanted that. He also should absolutely not been speaking Chinese constantly, since Kamden doesn’t understand it. But Kamden should have spoken up about the language thing, since it’s not impossible that Krystian didn’t remember in the moment that Kamden doesn’t speak Chinese. I’ve encountered that before -- people who speak their own language to me and just expect me to understand somehow. Also, why is Brian not speaking up? As a Chinese-Canadian, I think he could have been an excellent translator between Kamden and the rest of the team, but as far as we can see, he barely opens his mouth….
But that’s also only as far as we can see.
I also want to say that this has been edited so much that it’s basically fiction at this point. Maybe Brian was constantly piping up with translations. Maybe Krystian was repeating whatever he said in Chinese, moments later, in English. Maybe this whole scene was 10 minutes long in real life and then they moved on. We have no way to know. And yeah, maybe Krystian is a jerk, and maybe Kamden is the bullied victim. We don’t know.
We do know that Kamden had a rough time, and my heart goes out to him, no matter what the specific facts of the encounter are.
They’re all so stressed out. And language difficulties can make you feel like you’re trapped alone inside your own head. We’re social creatures anyway, as a species, and communication is our biggest line of defense and one of our most fundamental instincts. Seriously, it's an instinct. Put a group of children together who don't know a language at all, they'll make one up together and teach it to their own children someday. Communication is essential to us, so being with other human beings but not being able to actually talk to them in the language of your heart affects you emotionally so much more than you can know unless you’ve been through that. MNET should have given every single G-group a translator, or at the very least a translator app or some dictionaries or some fucking thing. So if you’re tempted to think that Krystian is the evilest of villains here, remember at all times that MNET is the real villain.
Now, we skip to 54:41 in Episode 4.
It’s performance time! Everyone is excited. Even the G-group members are excited to watch the K-group perform. Not a great sign for G-group.
Stylist noonas were like, “Let’s give K-group some sexy black outfits, and then let’s saddle G-group with white outfits that make them look puffy instead of sleek and make it hard to see them dancing. That’s fair, right?”
The K-group introduces itself one by one, and does a bit of aegyo for the crowd. We don’t get to hear from Ji Yun Seo or Kim Min Seong, because why would we?
I just love Kim Tae Rae.
“I went from Church Oppa with glasses, to cool idol without glasses.”
On the G-side, Ricky says, in English, “Ladies and Gentlemen. Sit back and enjoy the show.” Ok, three things.
He could have just said “ladies.” I don’t think there’s a single dude there.
There are several many women in the audience who are obsessed hardcore with Ricky and you can hear them screaming for him loudly by name.
Ricky is wearing huge goggles and I guess it’s a look but it looks dumb and also uncomfortable and if it were me I’d be begging to take them off my head.
Anyway, time for a flashback.
At vocal rehearsal, when Tae Rae sings, with that strong and lovely vocal color of his, Solji’s head pops up in surprise. Solji sort of gently asks about why Ji Yun Seo was made the main vocal instead of Kim Tae Rae and we flashback to the voting. It was 3 to 2 in favor of Ji Yun Seo, and it’s not as if Ji Yun Seo is a bad vocalist, so he got it.
Thing is, though, that Kim Tae Rae is an excellent vocalist, and I wish his team had had a bit of leadership and chutzpah enough for someone to speak up and say, “For the good of the team, we should let TaeRae belt and use YunSeo as a lead vocalist.” Because I’m telling you -- TaeRae is wasted here.
I also think that this was partially about friendship. Kum Jun Hyeon and Kim Min Seong are agency co-trainees, and are likely to vote together; they were all together in All Stars with Ji Yun Seo, while Tae Rae was still in three stars. Then Min Seong and Yun Seo were together in three stars, further solidifying their friendship. So Jun Hyeon and Min Seong are probably better friends with Yun Seo (and each other) than they are with Tae Rae, and may have let their friendship influence their vote. Just my conspiracy theory of the day.
The judges know that Tae Rae is better suited for main vocal, but it’s not as if YunSeo is doing a bad job, so the judges sort of shrug and say, “Well, if that’s what you decided,” but it’s clear they can’t believe that this team is wasting an obvious main vocalist. It’d be like if you had Chen and Xiumin from EXO on your team, and you made Xiumin your main vocal. Xiumin has a lovely sweet voice, but he’s not CHEN. I realize that if you’re not an EXO-L what I’m saying may not make sense.
Ok, it’d be like if you made Lisa your main vocal instead of Rosé, or if you made Sana your main vocal instead of Jihyo, or if you made Minhyuk your main vocal instead of Kihyun, or if you made Taeyong your main vocal instead of Doyoung, or if you made V your main vocal instead of Jungkook, or if you made Jackson the main vocal instead of JB, or if you made Sullyoon your main vocal instead of Lily, or if you made J-US your main vocal instead of Hyojin, or if you made Moonbyul your main vocal instead of Solar, or if you made Irene your main vocal instead of Wendy. I guess I should stop now. But like, what if you made Amber the main vocal instead of Luna? Or made G-dragon your main vocal instead of Daesung? Or made Minho the main vocal instead of Onew? Or made Soyou the main vocal instead of Hyolin? Or made Seola the main vocal instead of Younjung? Or made Eunha your main vocal instead of Yuju?
At dance practice, Jong Woo and Min Seung get praised -- the judge asks why JongWoo is a just a one star if he’s this good, which is a nice compliment -- but Han Yujin gets dragged hard. The judge even says that he’s ruining the performance.
Watching this whole bit after watching the storyline from the “Burn It Up” team, where the 15 year olds had emotional meltdowns and had to be given some love and care from their older members, it really strikes me how incredibly mature and hard working Yujin is. It’s almost to his detriment, though, because if he just let it show how badly he was hurting, someone might help him. As it is, he just suffers and swallows his tears, and I’m worried about his mental health.
His team knows he needs a boost, so they rearrange the choreography to bring him closer to the front at certain key points, and it makes him feel genuinely supported. (It’s also probably a good idea since he’s so popular and will get a lot of votes for the team so why not shove him to the front and grab the audience vote as much as you can?)
And what do you know -- boosting a literal child’s confidence helps him more than beating him down with insults! Imagine that. Han Yujin is a really hard working kid and he stays in the practice room trying over and over and over until he nails the choreo -- probably at times when other people are asleep, because there’s no one else there from either team.
At 1:01:20 the performance begins. Everyone’s so excited, even the judges.
Do I have to tell you that this performance is awesome? I think you know that. The whole time I kept thinking how much better it would have been with Tae Rae as the main vocal, but other than that, perfect.
Yun Seo did a great job as a vocalist, in his own right. I’m not dinging him for not being TaeRae -- he would have been so good as sub vocal 1, holding down the melody and keeping the group on track. He has a lot of talent and I feel like he’s going to end up debuting, eventually.
Yoon Jong Woo brought the Hyunjin/Changbin energy. It was a little unexpected but very welcome.
TaeRae did a great job, and boy did he look beautiful. His face is sort of alien but I love it. I didn’t LOVE his extra adlib, but it got attention anyway.
Kim Min Seung does an excellent job throughout; his rapping was bouncy and well enunciated and his dancing looked perfect to me, even the little details. You gotta love how this show, which normally shows every little thing 3x in a row, shows Minseung’s amazing flip/spin thing at the end exactly once, in such a way that I couldn’t figure out who had even done it until I watched all the fancams.
Kim Ji Woong’s ab + nipple reveal worked better for me than you’d think because it fit with the song. A shirt lift like that in the middle of Very Nice or Love Me Right would have been weird, but during the outro of BackDoor, when it’s like you’re at a party and everything is going wild -- it worked.
My little cousin Kum JunHyeon also did great! We knew he would. He did those heel kicks and angular motions and head tilts and all that good stuff and made it look good.
And of course, Han Yujin pulled it out in the end. He’s a talented kid and I see good things ahead for him.
This was obviously fantastic and I am glad that these guys can for the rest of their lives look back at this performance as a time when everything came together for them, and even if they don’t debut, or if they end up in some nugu group that disbands after one song or something, they can look back and say, “That was great, and I was great in it.”
I love how most of the judges afterward are like, “I didn’t know that Tae Rae sang that well?” And Master Lee, the main vocal judge, is like “No, he sings really well, you unobservant dumb dumbs, how did you not know that?” And I’m at home shouting YES WHY DID YOU EVER PUT HIM IN THREE STARS, YOU ABSOLUTE DUMB DUMBS?
So yeah, they were awesome. Check out their Studio Choom performance if you haven’t already.
After that performance, I feel bad for G-group, who has to go up there and perform knowing that they already lost. Back stage, they can only applaud and shake their heads, and Brian says, “They did a good job.” I mean, who can deny it?
Left to right: Brian, Chen Jian Yu, Zhang Shuaibo, Ricky, Krystian, Feng Jun Lan, Na Kamden
It’s time for G-group to perform, so of course it’s really time for a flashback.
They’re in dance rehearsal with Master Psycho, and he tells them he’s not sure that Krystian should be doing the killing part, because Krystian is too feminine and thus weak. I’m not sure that Kristian is feminine, or maybe I’m not sure what the word “feminine” means in this context or why that’s a negative thing. But I can agree that Krystian doesn’t quite nail it as center.
Afterwards, Kamden raises the issue of redistributing the parts. They’re talking to each other in English -- at least, we see Kamden, Ricky, Brian, and Krystian speaking English to each other. Krystian says, “I just feel like it’s not necessary, like, why are we doing this [talking about switching parts]?” But Chen Jian Yu, who now has light purple hair, says in Chinese to Krystian, “I agree with Kamden. We need to improve.” Ricky speaks up, in Chinese, to say “We must win.” They talk about it some more, and a lot of the convo is in Chinese, leaving Kamden out, but maybe they’re stopping to let someone translate for Kamden sometimes. It becomes clear that Krystian is just genuinely hurt, on a human level. “You guys don’t trust me?” he asks, and I think that’s what matters to him more than possibly losing his part -- it’s losing his teammate’s trust that hurts. I can get that. He says, in English, “Please don’t rip this out of me.” Aww, that hurts. 🙁 All the more so since his words impact us more since he’s speaking English.
The next day, Kamden, Ricky, and Krystian practice the killing part. Ricky has put himself forward not as someone who is better than Krystian, but as someone better than K-group, and I think that’s a diplomatic way to say it. Krystian keeps saying “I hope you trust me.”
They each try, and honestly it seems obvious that Ricky has to do it. The four other members talk together…
And choose Ricky.
Krystian does his best to smile and be gracious, but you can tell he’s upset.
Afterward, during rehearsal, Krystian is grouchy and trying to unofficially rearrange the choreo to in the center more often, stuff like that. It means he’s bumping into people and sort of ruining the stage picture. Kamden loses patience and begins snapping at his teammates a bit.
Later, back at the dorms, Kamden goes to talk to some of his friends on other teams, including some K-members. I guess the dorms aren’t completely segregated. I think that Kamden and Seok Matthew are probably pretty friendly, as they’re both North American, and I get the impression that Matthew organized the meeting. So Matthew is there, Hui is there, Han Yu Jin is there, Lee Yedam is there, a few others who I can’t recognize in the lighting.
Kamden is basically asking for advice, and Hui tells him, “I personally think that if you let things go as a leader, you will lose.” They all tell him not to give up, to put on a good performance.
Meanwhile, G-group members, absent Ricky and Krystian, are talking. Feng Jun Lan says, “As a leader, Kamden tried to talk to us gently. I think that’s why he couldn’t talk directly to us.” Brian, another North American, says, “Kamden actually wants our team to do well.” Chen Jian Yu says, “How great would it be if the team got along well?” They resolve to talk to Kamden tomorrow.
So, they have a meeting.
Kamden says he feels like he’s not really the leader. Chen Jian Yu says he is going to follow Kamden’s lead. Kamden asks for more enthusiastic following of his lead, and they all say yes.
Kamden interviews that he feels like it had been a waste of time to sit int he corner and feel sad, and yeah, dude, it was.
It’s performance time, and you can clearly hear the Ricky fans screaming at the beginning.
They all do their best, but there’s no way they could ever quite measure up to the other team. Ricky does really suit his part, but for me he’s still a bit stiff. They’re all a little stiff somehow, doing choreography instead of dancing. They don’t have chemistry with each other on stage they way you need to for this song. It feels like they’re rushing sometimes, too. It’s a bummer because again, they’re not specifically bad in any way, except for poor Feng Jun Lan, whose vocals are in bad condeeshon. I think they can all be pretty proud that they put in a good stage. They were just beaten by a team full of guys who are actually ready to debut.
In the MNET editing, they focus a lot on Ricky, and I guess I just don’t really see it. I don’t know why those women are so obsessed? He’s not bad or anything, he definitely has a certain magnetism, but I wouldn’t fly all the way to Korea to see him perform. I don't think I'd fly to Korea to see any of these trainees perform, though.
Backstage, the K-team says kind things about the performance. Kim Tae Rae says they were “the best team so far” and I think he means the best of the G-teams, and that very well may be true. But everyone knows that K-team dominated.

Final score, 551 to 204.
You can tell that Ricky had hoped for more votes than just 80.
Brian knew that Han Yu Jin would get a lot of votes, but even so, his various expressions, as he takes it all in, are great.
Poor Na Kamden -- I wouldn’t want to be considered a competitor for Kim Ji Woong and his nipples. I also feel bad for Ji Yun Seo, who did a decent job but just was in the wrong position. I actually think he would have gotten more votes if he and Tae Rae had switched parts. Krystian is miserable with his score, and probably blames the part distribution, but I think there was no saving this. Zhang Shuaibo has a decent fan base for a sort of low ranked foreign member, gotta say.
K-team does a cheer for their leader and standard bearer.
Over on Team G, they try to comfort and congratulate each other. They’re glad that they ended up reconciling and working together as a team, when all is said and done.
Kamden says that he thinks his team did really well and he’s proud of them.
