3.5 Kissed by Fire

Kissed by Fire ist eine pickepackevolle Folge mit einer interessanten umgekehrten Dramaturgie: Wir starten mit Action und Enden mit ruhigen Dialogszenen, die eher folgende Dramatik vorbereiten als in sich dramatisch sind.

Bis etwa zur Mitte gefällt mir die Folge trotz einiger mir etwas missfallender Schnitte sehr gut, danach fehlt dann leider etwas der rote Faden, obwohl jede Szene für sich genommen großartig gespielt ist. Gegen Ende gibt es zum Beispiel eine Abfolge von Szenen im Kreis - Sansa/Margaery/Loras, Olivar/Loras, Olivar/Littlefinger, Littlefinger/Sansa - die eine nette Idee ist, aber leider etwas hektisch wirkt.

Wir haben mal wieder subtile erste Andeutungen, dass Bolton mit Tywin zusammenarbeitet und Stannis’ Familie wird endlich eingeführt, was meiner Meinung nach sehr gelungen ist.

Nachdem wir in der letzten Folge das Stark-Theme gehört haben, als Theon seine Handlungen bereut, hören wir nun das Greyjoy-Theme als Echo, wenn Robb nun ähnliche Fehler begeht, um Stärke zu beweisen.

Die Line of the Week kommt aus dem Highlight dieser Episode, die Szene, auf die Nikolaj Coster-Waldau seit 2,5 Staffeln gewartet hat:

My Favorite Thing is Monsters by Emil Ferris continued to rack up accolades this weekend as it took home two Ignatz Awards last night. Other winners at the annual awards presentation included Jess Fink’s Chester 5000, Ben Passmore’s Your Black Friend and Carolyn Nowak’s Diana’s Electric Tongue.

Named after the brick-throwing mouse from Krazy Kat, the awards honor “excellence in independent comics” and are selected by a jury of five creators and voted on by attendees of the Small Press Expo. The jurors for this year’s nominations were Neil Brideau, Glynnis Fawkes, Sara Lautman, Trungles and David Willis.

Primeras imágenes de ‘Perdida’

Descubre las primeras imágenes de Perdida, la nueva serie original de Atresmedia Televisión para el prime time de Antena 3. Se trata de un thriller emocional que narra el viaje de unos padres que harán lo indecible para descubrir lo que ha pasado con su hija. Una trama que se desarrollará entre España y Colombia.

El rodaje de la serie se lleva a cabo íntegramente en exteriores e interiores naturales, contando con más de 120 localizaciones diferentes. Las grabaciones arrancaron el pasado mes de abril en Valencia. Actualmente, el rodaje se ha trasladado hasta el continente americano, donde permanecerá rodando en Colombia hasta final de verano.

Daniel Grao es el protagonista principal de la historia junto con Ana María Orozco, Carolina Lapausa, Fernando Solorzano, Melani Olivares y Verónica Velásques, que encabezan un reparto que superará el centenar de actores, procedentes de España, Colombia, México o Cuba como Jon Arias, Adriana Paz, Luis Miguel Hurtado, Juan Carlos Messier, Pedro Suárez, María Barreto, David Trejos o Mario Bolaños, entre otros.

Una ficción española de ámbito internacional cuyos capítulos tendrán una duración de 50 minutos, tal y como ocurre en todas las nuevas producciones del sello Series Atresmedia.

Así lo señaló a Efe su productor y guionista, Aitor Gabilondo, encargado de trasladar para la pequeña pantalla la novela de Fernando Aramburu, un fenómeno literario desde su publicación, en 2016, que se ha convertido en la primera producción española de HBO. La serie, que se rodará hasta finales de junio en Guipúzcoa, está dirigida por Félix Viscarret y Oscar Pedraza, después de que este último sustituyera al argentino Pablo Trapero. "Hubo diferencias de criterio y decidimos separar nuestros caminos sin ningún tipo de problema, algo que es bastante habitual que ocurra cuando la creatividad está de por medio", señaló Gabilondo, quien remarcó que la salida del realizador argentino "no alteró los planes". El rodaje comenzó en las localidades de Soraluze y Elgoibar antes de trasladarse al casco viejo de San Sebastián, un lugar donde Gabilondo se siente "impresionado y emocionado", porque se ha reproducido una de las manifestaciones de las que el guionista fue testigo, repletas de simbología de la banda terrorista ETA. Esta cercanía personal con el relato de cómo arrasó la violencia en las relaciones y la vida de muchas personas en el País Vasco "remueve sentimientos", pero "las ficciones son para eso", reconoce. El productor está convencido de que la adaptación de la novela de Aramburu se entenderá fuera de España "porque es una historia universal, la de dos amigas separadas por una bala". Considera que, aunque las circunstancias más locales "se le puedan escapar a un espectador norteamericano, los elementos de los que habla la serie son totalmente emocionales, comprensibles y humanos, y eso emociona aquí y fuera de aquí", afirma. Gabilondo está convencido además de que narrar lo que sucedió con la violencia en Euskadi "ayudará a entender y a que no vuelva a suceder". "Patria" habla de personas "a ras de suelo, cuenta la historia a ese nivel, y creo que la sociedad tiene una voluntad clarísima de seguir adelante y de superar el pasado", sostiene Gabilondo, aunque reconoce que es difícil, porque "la reconciliación y la justicia son dos términos difíciles de equilibrar, pero queda toda la vida por delante para conseguirla". Una historia complicada de llevar a la pantalla y cuyo principal reto es, para Viscarret, "compaginar la doble naturaleza" de ser un relato de ficción y su anclaje con "una realidad sociopolítica que toca muy de cerca". Es una historia que refleja "con humanidad las contradicciones personales, familiares y de toda una sociedad y refleja cómo la violencia llegó a afectar a absolutamente todo". Entre los extras del rodaje de hoy de esta producción que se estrenará en 2020, estaban también las actrices protagonistas de la adaptación de la novela de Fernando Aramburu: Helena Irureta, que encarna a Bittori, la mujer que vuelve desde San Sebastián al pueblo años después del asesinato de su marido a manos de ETA, y Ane Gabarain, que da vida a Miren, su antagonista radicalizada con la que rompe una relación de amistad. Ambas reconocieron en declaraciones a los medios de comunicación que podrían haberse intercambiado los papeles y que el relato de Aramburu requiere de un trabajo "muy fino" para resaltar la faceta humana de cada personaje.
