6) "Yiling Laozu" still exists

Mt Yiling is a mountain range and fortress to the pugilist's world most mystery and powerful sect, previously led by a taoist warrior priestess Baoshan Sanren. They're very recluse but peaceful, and never intermingles with conflicts of the outside world. The people say Yiling is impregnable. Later, it was said Baoshan passed down her sect to her favourite disciple Cangse. Who remains to be the current leader, nobody knows, hence the rumour of "Yiling Laozu". (I accidentally turned WWX into a less vengeful and more gremlin version of MCS)

Xiao Xingchen, Xue Yang and A-Qing are all part of it.

Xue Yang lurks in the shadow to protect Wei Wuxian.

Xiao Xingchen is very chill and a bit naive. A-Qing holds the fort at Mt Yiling while their fierce young leader Wei Wuxian pulls the string upon his loft y throne (ish).

7) Wen Qing cross-dresses as a man to avoid unnecessary problems while she works as a physician within the palace, causing Jiang Cheng to think he's gay.

Wen Qing, and her older brother Wen Ning live a humble life with their Uncle and Grandmother. They are distantly related to Wen Ruohan but their branch of the family has long left their tribe to pursue a more settled and peaceful life. To avoid exposing their origins, they adopted the last name 郝 he - meaning red, light, brightness - to pay respect to their clan's colour and insignia.
